I come here most days and the staff are so friendly they all know what coffee I drink there service is great even on very busy days I will always come back especially to friendly staff members x

A bit more time spent working bit less time messing around would speed up things.

If your a local that goes in there everyday, then you will be welcomed with a smile. If your a normal person using costa as and when, then expect the blonde server who I believe is the team leader to be utterly rude. A death stare or look of faeces on her shoe should be expected. Order taken with no words. The order then thrown in front of you with no pointer as if it is yours or someone else’s, and certainly don’t ask. I thought maybe it’s a one off, but every time I went there it sadly has been the same, so have stopped going There is a great cost the other side of town in the services where the staff couldn’t be more helpful, there is also a Starbucks at the station where again, super staff The costa in town just sadly isn’t friendly (unless your a daily regular)

Coffee is usually alright, but whoever the young woman is who was working Wednesday November 22nd in the morning is extremely rude. Has put me off from going in again.

Staff slow and too busy chatting rather than serving, plus calling older people names behind their back not required just because you don’t have the patience to understand them

Only plug socket in the whole place and the manager plugs their mingy thinkpad into it first thing in morning to make sure no-one’s charging their phone up in here, trash!

This was my 1st visit to this Costa.Its a good size & does have around 22 ish seating table options inside (theres no outdoor seating area)these are all on ground level .It's quite spacious inside & at the time of my visit(9.45am Sat 14 Oct 2023 ) it wasn't too busy,most of the tables had been cleared of used cups /trays etc & wiped down ,but I noticed the carpet could do with a good hoover/clean .I found the Staff on duty to be very pleasant when I inquired about the availability of tea cakes and placing my drinks order which was a medium Cappuccino, small Gingerbread latte along with 2 toasted tea cakes.The stencil for the chocolate sprinkles on my Cappuccino wasn't used which would of been a nice presentation touch otherwise the drinks were fine & the teacakes were nicely toasted. Cash or card payments are excepted..On this experience I would definitely return back when visiting Grantham.

Coffee still good but now very expensive which put me off and it's getting run down.

I always thought costa was a consistently good cup of coffee until recently when this costa served a mocha like I've never tasted before, watery no froth and tastless and just about warm. The coffee was only just warm.The toilets were disgusting and the table hadn't been wiped won't go to that one again.

No glass coffee cups .had to have paper takeaway cups when I ask wheres glass coffee cups THEY SAID NO DISH WASHER .NOT FIRST TME ITS HAPPENED

It needs a revamp it has lost its ampisfere some times you are lucky to get toast or tools its bad

Went to Grantham Costa, male with pink hair behind the counter so rude, no customer service skills, no acknowledgment, no please or thank you, clearly doesn't like his job or people, suggest maybe looking for a new career path that doesn't involve any human interaction. This isn't a one off either, same attitude every time.

Nice and warm, polite staff and a nice coffee!

Staff polite, drinks as standard. Behind the counter always seems a bit messy. Always seem to be quite a few tables with trays full of used cups and plates.

Had a bit of banter with 2 lovely women who work there and the coffee is good. Just let down a bit by the mardy guy mumbling when he gave me my coffee. But the women were cool

Went into shop which had 3 miserable looking staff. Wasn’t busy at all. Coffee machine looked absolutely disgusting and unhygienic. Our drink order came wrong and so replaced with cold drinks. Will not be returning

update 22:11:2022 the worse cortardo in history here today absolute slops Came here for the first time today, the place itself is nice enough, what really let it down was the staff shouting at each other very loud and brash, not what you want when you come in to relax with a coffee...update seriously need training in making cortados

Ordered a medium Americarno Coffee, cost £2.80. Good quality, nice and strong. Staff were polite and engaging in banter. Seating area was clean and tidy. Do not normally go to Costa, but the experience was very positive 👍👍

I’ve never been in here before and was greeted by Emma who looked as though she did t want to be there. They had no cream, hardly any toasted sandwiches and we were referred to as sweet, poppit and babe, followed with swearing! In professional and we will not be returning.

Only been in my local Costa a few times. Each of those times I have found the staff to be rude! A little customer service training is in need!

Good coffee, didnt order food, staff good, furniture starting to look worn, could do with some more comfortable seats. Toilets were clean.

Service a bit slow but tea,coffee and cakes made up for it.

Hadn't been in for ages and fancied a Frappe. No Belgian chocolate for my drink, so ended up with a vanilla frappe. The strawberries and cream was just nasty. Over sweet and sickly, not sure if they've changed the syrups or what. Not good. Also no straws, but luckily for me I carry my own!

The staff are so nice and welcoming. I try to get in every morning before work it’s nice to see such friendly faces in the morning always smiling and the bonus is the coffee is the best too.

Been here a few times now and just feels that that extra care from the staff isn’t there- drinks haven’t quite been on point and generally doesn’t feel a good experience.

Best place for coffee in grantham

Well, today was better, other weeks we have been in, and the tables haven't been cleared or cleaned, in fact I've done it myself, with wipes from my bag.

what a lovely place to have coffee! 😆😆 I love caffeine so this place is perfect so I can get the energy to look after my cheeky grandkids 😂 I also LOVE LOVE the toasted sandwiches! My husband always asks me for a cheeky toastie when I go to pick up my coffee hahah xx

Service painfully slow. Had about 8 staff on yet waited 20 minutes for 3 cold drinks. Two staff on mobiles infront of customers and chatting loudly. Barely any stock in grab & go fridge. Impossible to ‘grab & go’ as service is so slow. Will not be returning.

Such a lovely place to meet friends for a catch up once a fortnight . staff are so very polite there is a couple that stand out more that are very helpful and couldn't do enough for you always jolly (kodie) and (jade) keep up the good work guys.

Really bad experience today :( 5 baristas behind the till/prep area 2 drinking chilled Costa drinks, no acknowledgement or sorry for the wait 20 minute wait until I got my order which was wrong anyway. Really disappointed because I usually love this place :(

Overall we enjoyed our experience today. Areas that could improve are (1)although we both used our own Costa cups we only received 3 beans instead of four. (2)only one toilet in operation which wasn't particularly clean (3)we had to clear our own table and the chair coverings are dirty and shabby. Things to work on when your paying top end for coffee.

Fav place for coffee in Grantham

It is a lovely place to go and meet up with family and friends, for a coffee or lunch. The staff are very friendly and very helpful, just ask them, and they will see what they can do for you. Don't take my word for it, just go in and see for yourself's .

The drinks and food here are awesome maybe slightly expensive but it is all worth it especially the hot chocolate range

Very busy Costa as it’s in the middle of town but they work fast staff are lovely and friendly helpful .we have always had a nice experience and they make a grate coffee

Poor cup of coffee rushed like mad by overworked staff

This is one of the worst Costas I have been to. It might just have been a one off, however, cold coffee (it should have been hot), filthy tables even after they had so call been cleaned, most food items out of stock, the doorway covered the whole time in a pool of orange juice that had to be waded through. Seating was wet through, staff with masks under the nose, itching noses and then serving customers without sanitising their hands.

Found the waitress (blonde) very abrupt as we hadn't got track and trace on my phone. In peterborough they're very considerate and help you. To be honest do not know how to put it on. Felt very uncomfortable.

Standard Costa. This visit was spoiled by over officious staff (well, one lady) who seemed to enjoy barking orders in an unfriendly and often unhelpful way. I get that things are changing and its difficult for the hospitality industry. However, that doesn't excuse being rude, patronising and generally ignorant.

Burnt coffee how can people drink that

Staff are friendly and polite, especially in uncertain times. Everywhere is being cleaned on a regular basis. Tables are cleared away as soon as to enable people to sit in. Be patient as service is a bit slower than what it was. Track and trace in-store via QR code at the entrance and at the till both easily visible.

Been going to Costa for years always enjoyed the experience, after my last visit we will not be going back, I know times are difficult for us all at the moment and changes need to be made, but this is no excuse for staff to be rude, which is what I experience today (one member who needs to brush up on customer service)

It was not busy which was good. Coffee was alright but prefer little tea/coffee shop which is an independent business with great coffee and homemade cakes

Very pleasant time catching up with a friend over hot chocolate

The cafe itself was kept rather clean but the staff were a bit lacklustre and the service was awkward. My drink was also full of powder at the top and bottom! I kept mixing it but eventually had to spoon it out. It also wasn't very hot, so I had to drink it rather fast which tasted very sickly.

Lacking atmosphere, order was wrong, music too loud so baristas couldn't hear orders and the wait was terrible. By far Grantham Costa is the worst I've been to.

Bustling with activity. Not a place for a quiet coffee! Plenty of seating.

Visited the spacious Grantham branch in Sir Issac Newton Centre. I had Turkey & Trimmings Toastie. It was tasty and enjoyable. Cappuccino with added Winter Character Roast (for added 25p) very good.
