Have visited the cafe many times. always had great a experience. We order cakes from time to time to have at home, always the best quality and great prices. next on the list is to have the afternoon tea which looks amazing. can not speak highly enough of the staff and the food. Dave Nutt.

We have lived in the area for a while but only just found this great little cafe. Service was swift and our waitress Darcey was extremely polite and chatty. We only wanted a light snack and both had a scone and they were superb, the menu was extensive with a nice variety of options. We look for to our next visit, thank you!

Extremely curt and rude. There are ways to treat customers Took less than 5 mins to decide I would take my business elsewhere.

Home made cakes and scones at reasonable prices. Comfortable cafe and friendly service. They also do take away.

My friend and I called in here for a pit stop whilst out sorting chores in Bourne. It is a lovely clean bright small cafe. I have to say the Lemon cake was second to none. Sally the lady in charge, said she makes them herself. 😋 Delicious.

A really friendly place to enjoy a breakfast, coffee break or afternoon tea with cake. I popped in today for breakfast with my husband. We’re both vegan and had lots to choose from. Owner was extremely helpful and chatted at length about ingredients used in a whole variety of cakes, scones etc. I will be making this cafe a regular place to visit!

Popped in here on our way through, just for a coffee, were persuaded to try the cup cakes, (by a passer bye and other clients), and so glad we did! The best we have tasted!! The lady said they had only been there 3 months, and does all her own baking!! Keep up the excellent work, and hope the 'bike night' idea comes off!!

Friendly staff and owner and really lovely food. One of the better places for food in Bourne in my opinion.

Stopped here for a late lunch Saturday afternoon. Waiter very pleasant, ordered a pot of tea and one cold drink. Ordered jacket potato with beans & cheese and poached eggs on toast. The teapot was white & modern but the cup & saucer was from the thirties, tiny and so badly worn it looked dirty and too cap it there was scum floating in the tea. This was not expected as chairs & tables were quite chic. The jacket potato was okay but although the poached eggs were beatifully cooked there was only one piece of toast! All in all poor value for money and will not be visiting again.

We visited the cafe on Saturday afternoon, there were two tables occupied, one had finished eating, one was waiting for food. We ordered soup and a sandwich. After 25 minutes I asked how much longer it would be, the young man serving apologised, then the food for the other table arrived, our 'soup' arrived 10 minutes later, a lady, I presume it was the owner, came out and offered us free coffee as an apology for the very long wait. The sandwich was fresh, tasted quite nice, (too mush tomato sauce in the Marie Rose sauce) but the soup was just a bowl of orange goo, it had absolutely no taste, it was boiling hot, and so thick I could stand my spoon up in it, we still have no idea what flavour the soup should have been, we couldn't even guess. There is also no atmosphere, they should play music (I noticed they have a license to play music) or at least engage customers in conversation but it was just like sitting in a waiting room. I rarely give poor reviews for places but it's such a shame, this place has a lot going for it; position, cleanliness, first appearance looks welcoming, and a good menu but they need to deliver a lot quicker. Sorry, we'll give it another go during the week, but we'll avoid it at the weekends.

Decided to visit this cafe on a Saturday afternoon. We arrived at 12:50pm and ordered tea for two and two jacket potatoes with cheese and beans. Not a complicated order and the only other people in the cafe at the time had finished eating we expected food shortly. After 50 min wait, a polite request to chase the order up and then food arriving for two groups who had arrived after us we had enough. I understand sometimes food can take time if freshly prepared but really 50 mins for two jackets??. I assume our order was forgotten as the other groups also ordered jackets and were served. We were offered no explanation as to the delay.

Now had two meals here. Really impressed with the houmus pitta bread with salad for lunch. The food was presented lovely, very reasonably priced, place is clean and welcoming and staff are friendly. We have also had a veggie breakfast which was also delicious. Would highly recommend this lovely cafe

Found this cafe quite by accident walking back to the main street from the car park. We sat outside in the sun and ate our lunch. The staff are really pleasant and polite. We opted for paninis packed with hunters chicken and bacon with side salad. For desert we opted for ice cream I had a lot of peppermint tea, which was topped up when requested. The lunch came in as a deal at just under £6. For really tasty savoury food, ices, drinks and delicious looking cakes I can give this place a big thumbs up for service, quality and value.

Very misleading! Huge signs outside saying dogs “always” welcome. Well it seems not If it’s raining, the bar person claims dogs are not welcome if it’s raining. It is a shame the bar man was so rude considering we had previously enjoyed a nice visit here.

My daughter and son-in-law held their wedding reception at Mam Liz's last night and it was just perfect. The food was superb, made by the incredibly skillful chef Nick who created a vegan Carribbean menu for us, where nearly everyone had seconds. The staff couldn't have been more attentive, and they even set aside a courtyard with games to entertain the kids...and adults throughout the evening. We simply couldn't have asked for more. Thank you to Liz and Michael for making us all have such a memorable night xx

Unfortunately we couldn’t really comment on atmosphere as we were the only ones here but then it was Halloween, however the food was absolutely delicious, the waitress was very polite, kind and helpful and the portion sizes were more than enough which is always a good thing! Would definitely recommend a visit :)
