Always a friendly atmosphere and polite staff.

The pub was ok but it is a sports bar staff friendly but only one real ale on , have had a glass of wine there before which was nice , summer is best for us can sit outside nice courtyard seating area.

Great if you want a local sports bar with no food

don't do food or coffee. Too much bad language.

Went into Kings Arms for a cheeky swift pint while Emporor's Kitchen prepared our Chinese takeaway. I am used to prices over in the West Midlands where 2 pints of cider comes to around £10. So I had to double take when I was only charged £5.40 for 2 pints of Stongbow. I asked the barman if I'd been undercharged but he said this was normal pricing for Grantham. Double bonus was that the Chinese was brilliant! Decent value, fresh and big portions (enough for breakfast with a fried egg on top). That's how I keep my trim 19 stone figure.

Ignorant bar staff who choose their mates first to serve. Don't bother... Go elsewhere!

Good value boozer, has some decent drinks on tap. Service is friendly and efficient. Have a pool table as well, shows the sport. Outside seating area as well.

I've read the reviews about this place and some of those who have written something must have been still on the sauce 🤤. I was greeted by a very friendly bar person who made me feel very welcome. The place was clean and tidy and the drinks surprisingly cheap. Did it feel a little clicky, maybe, but many places can be like that. Hasn't put me off from coming back again 👍

The most unfriendly pub I have ever been into. Decided to check venue out before having to work there for 1 night. My drink was flat with unusual taste. Bar staff don't give you time of day. Camera in gents toilets facing urinals so probably a good thing that they are not a family friendly establishment that dont let under 18s inn at any time 😀Management not much better as speak to you like rubbish with little respect. Will not be returning there any time soon social or work wise.

New managers have turned this pub around, they are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The beer is cheap and the atmosphere is great no matter if it's during the day or night! 5/5 Highly Recommended!

Plenty of room on a Sunday evening and a nice pint

Possibly the worst pub I've ever visited. Actually without doubt the worst pub in the UK. Ordered on an app that allegedly doesn't work to then be informed it won't serve my 2 children, 12 and 17 as its only 18s only. What pub, in their right mind turns away custom in this climate. Hostile, unwelcoming and the most unpleasant of places I can not believe this place has yet to be closed down.

As a 40-something female, I dinnae always feel entirely comfortable here and they dinnae serve any real ales I like. That said, tis a cracking pub n a great place to go to if u fancy a wee game of pool. I'll def continue to return from time to time.

Nice little pub. I poped in during the day on a week day and it was quite. Not sure about weekends but I can imagine it's a good pub to go to. And it was definitely much nicer and better than I expected it to be. Nice little pub and I'd definitely go back.

A very well run main street public house. With a younger music orientated clientele from Friday evening thru the weekend. Polite and welcoming staff.

Wouldn’t recommend, friends spotted camera in men’s toilets facing the urinals, then refused service after finding this out, then kicked us out. Wouldn’t go there unless you want your privates on camera 🎥

Since the new managers have taken over and the pubs have reopened I have been a few times and everytime they give awesome customer service! Always chatting to customers and making sure everything is okay. They are constantly cleaning and sanitizing tables and chairs. The courtyard is nice with a few tables out there and the beer is cheap and cold ! Highly recommended!

We called into the King's Arms a few times on our visit to Grantham. Always got a welcoming and friendly service and the beers are good too. Will definitely come back.

Good pub, good prices. Most of the staff are brilliant, but the manager comes across rather arrogant. Still got beer stains on the ceiling from the world cup???? Not great when the pub is hosting singles night on valentine's day, who wants that, when you're trying to mingle? 😆 on a serious note tho, I like the place.

Went in today full of screaming kid's.

The place is full of youngsters with children. Allowed to run freely. Landlord not too friendly. Basically I wouldn't recommend it.!!!

Very good atmosphere very competitive prices disabled toilets has a problem which apparently is been going on for a long time. But has failed to be rectified looking forward to my next visit.

A pub is a Pub in my eyes there is always going to be something you like about it and something you don't. But what's not to like about a pub that compete against wetherspoons. This pub has theme nights a broad mixture of customers from your iPhone group to your Mobility Scooter group to your one arm leaning on the bar looking around hopefully group it's all here.
