I would recommend, decor is lovely & it’s very clean, the food was extremely satisfying & filling… I had pork chops…delicious & my partner had a lamb kebab which he also enjoyed. Finished with some ice cream. The price was very reasonable & the staff were friendly & attentive. We will be going back

Food is beautiful the lamb is the best I’ve ever had my son loves it more than me and is the first time he has eaten lamb and we have been 3 times and will be back soon

Very atmospheric place, tasty food, friendly atmosphere. The price for a meal for two people is very nice, the portion we received could easily feed 4 people! The rest of the food was packed and we could take it for later. I recommend!

Placed an order through Uber eats and it set at charge pending with the bank but no food arrived I waited almost an hour and it is not even shown up. Check back into the app to find that they have now changed to "not excepting orders! Disgusting customer treatment will absolutely unequivocally never use this service again!

Not a bad little restaurant. Was disappointed that when coming to pay, they had a sign by the till saying cash only. Although the food was pretty good, it took a long time for our breakfast to come, despite the restaurant being almost empty.

It was very good Beyti it taste like Turkey. I definitely recommend.

I ordered food through uber eats and after paying and waiting for the lead time, the order disappeared as did my money. After a phone call to the restaurant it turned out that the staff knew nothing, had no language or consistency and no desire to help. Embarrassing

Food amazing but having a Chinese employee sweeping up and moving tables round really spoilt it. Music made us feel like cutting our wrists. Good food will not keep this place open. Stop the cleaning round us and stop the awful music but keep up the great food. If you want a great steak, then yes, if you want a good atmosphere then avoid. Stupid women is still sweeping up and moving tables round us. Ruined what was a nice meal

There is a 4 letter word I’d use for this place but the review would be removed. If the Service was a snail, this would be an African giant snail venue. Food was ok. Top tip…. Get more staff.

Went here with my sister for lunch and the food was excellent. Good service, clean restaurant and good sized portions. We both had chicken and it came with salad, rice, cous cous, dips and bread. Delicious! Owner is very nice and we chatted for ages - so nice that we exchanged details and I told him if he ever comes to Valencia to let me know. Was offered free tea and home made baklava (which was excellent) I’m passing back through grantham in a week or so on my way back to Spain and will definitely be eating here again!

I tried talking to them (by phone) three times to ask about food options (I have a food intolerance) and each time they just hung up! Very rude. It would have been OK if they'd said they couldn't do anything, but putting down the phone?!?

I went here before and it was lovely , so came again tonight and it's closed ! But they took my money when I ordered online and online says they are open untill 23:00 so just drove 20 minutes to get my food for nothing and my money taken😐 I hope I get refunded!

If you like kebabs & Turkish food, this place is a must. I had the mixed kebab, which was really delicious. First of all a basket of flat bread arrived with three dips. Then a plate of mixed salad and the main meal, three different kebabs with rice & salad. (There was the option for fries, but I went for rice). Excellent sized portions and all delicious. So it's a big thumbs up from me. 👍

I have been here a few times. Food is above average. But service is poor, you have to explain what you want in minute detail and they still mess up. Finally I was the only one in asked for the bill three times and had to wait ten minutes to get it.

Just had traditional all day breakfast and my wife had scrambled egg on toast with 2 rashes of bacon with 3 authentic black coffee I can only say wow best breakfast I have experienced in Grantham The food was all cooked perfectly not at all greasy as many others are The coffee was to die for and the pricing was exceptionally cheap compared to other cafe food We do occasionally have a grill here which is lovely and great value I recommend you try it for yourselves you will love the food at Istanbul grill Grantham

I recon this place is just about the best place to eat in Grantham. Went on a Tuesday evening with a party of eight. The food and service both excellent.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. The place is immaculate. Considering its a grill restaurant no smell of cooking when you leave like some other restaurants. Food was lovely only let down was the sausages. Local sausages would have made the meal otherwise very tasty. 👍

Last night 7 of us had a meal it was amazing so much food we had to go home with doggy bags. 3 of us choose to share the mixed kebab £49 it would of fed 5 of us. All the food was tasty and we will be returning.

Called the number on google to check if it is halal meat, it says it’s invalid number!. Found their page on FB with another number to call and get to know if it is halal meat and the guy said Yes. I’m glad to find a nearby nice place serving halal food! the guy on the phone was polite. Looking forward to try their food and service and update my review!

First time used. 2 breakfasts delivered by Uber. Food was hot tasty and cooked perfectly. I really can’t fault them in any way. Will definitely use again

Food was average, and would possibly have given it another go. However, the young man who was serving was absolutely awful! Couldnt understand simple requests and he was rude and abrupt. Will not be recommending or returning. Shame as Grantham has very little to offer, so they have a captive audience!

Ordered a mixed kebab waiter had great difficulty understanding what I said he than said you could only pay with cash . Salad and bread and dips was bought to the table immediately so I presume that’s because they didn’t want you to leave . Food was fairly good but didn’t get what I ordered chips and rice missing try to attract staff but no luck other customers seemed to be having same problem. When it came time to pay told them about missing dish’s but no explanation why, also when I paid I was told how much to pay no breakdown ,food was fair but wouldn’t recommend this restaurant staff appalling.

Lovely food, really good price, great waiter however the guy behind the grill seemed to be constantly on his case what was uncomfortable to watch. However can't wait to go back.

Both my starter and main where very nice. However my wife’s meal arrived after I had finished mine as she had been forgotten. When it came to paying, the waiter not only contested that my wife’s meal should be taken off the bill he also approached other tables in the restaurant to seek their agreement. Not good service and such a shame.

Omelette disgusting eggs not whisked properly,lumpy egg white in the middle . Horrible frozen chips must have been end of the bag , all little hard pieces.

This was the third time I have eaten here and the first two times were in all fairness, really good. However my wife and I had a rare day off together on Tuesday and thought we'd eat there again as before it had been good. On arrival the first thing that hit us was the temperature of the dining area. It was a bitterly cold day outside but inside was only slightly warmer !! Freezing !! As soon as we sat down the menus were given to us and within I'd say 30 seconds she was asking us what we would like. Give us a bit more time please. We ordered cod and chips the picture had mushy peas on it but when it came it had grey normal peas. Waited ages for the food and the chips were cold too. We had to ask for cutlery as the food was given to us without any. All in all not that great. Asked for bread and butter and got fried bread ? Fish was nice and its a smart looking place so maybe we just caught them on an off day.

I was there long time ago then was fine. But today was absolutely sheeet! First thing fork and nife was dirty peace of food from yesterday was still on the nife. I asked new one. Later English traditional breakfast omg first time in my life I seen that bad. Sausages the cheapest ones looks like no meat in there only soya powder. In the middle was raw pancake or ashbrown I don't know wasn't ready to eat. Beans I think was last ones in the jar. 10 beans and plenty of souce. NO MORE NEVER AGAIN INSTAMBUL GRILL THANKS!👎

Went there for the first time tonight, to be honest I didn't even know they exist. But ventured in. Was clean, well attended by the waiter. Chefs where polite and asked us about our food. Food was absolutely delish. Freshly cooked, and very very tasty. Can not fault it. And was better then I ever expected. They do do take away as well as dine in. Service was quick, and polite. Need to be used as this is a gem on the high street.

Gorgeous! We had the mixed grill, a falafel and Houmous wrap and a side of Sigare and it was all so good. Such reasonable prices too, definitely recommend!

There was a young girl , I believe her name was Sonya who was honestly exceptional her hospitality skills were the best and made me feel so welcome . I went there last week and she wasn’t there . I was served by another waiter who was quite abrupt and rude. The chef was also screaming at the workers. Food was good.

Went in today to hear the 'chef' shouting abuse at a woman who sent her food back, shouting and arguing with her when she was trying to explain why she was sending it back. Made us get straight up and leave. Very rude staff, would not go back again

Myself and my sister came today and to start with service was lovely. We ordered 2 chilli con carne and 2 cans of coke. We asked for cheese for the chilli and could hear shouting from the kitchen for us asking for this. Then we took a few mouthfuls and I took both plates back to the counter and in a calm and quiet manner to tell them we didn’t like the food. The man said he would ask the chef. I said I would happily pay for the cans and cheese if needed. She said we had to pay for the full meal. I told her calmly that I wouldn’t pay for a meal I wasn’t happy with and did not eat. The chef then came out the kitchen shouting that I must pay for the meal and told me to f**k off. The woman then charged us £10 for rice and cheese, I told her we didn’t eat the rice, she said there was nothing wrong with it so we should pay for it. I said to charge £10 for rice we didn’t eat and cheese was beyond absurd. I then paid £9 for 2 cans (£2 each) and £5 just to allow them to let me leave as the shouting was just unnecessary.

We were a group of 10, booked 8 weeks in advance. When we got to the restaurant they were expecting us half an hour after I had booked. Luckily I had the messages to prove the correct time. We ordered starters and mains. The waitress mixed up the calamari and onion rings and the shared starter we had ordered for 4 people materialled after the main course had been served - this was sent back. We'd ordered side orders of chips which arrived after the main courses had been finished. Service was poor and although there were only an additional 3 tables occupied at the time the staff blamed the fact that they were busy? After talking to one of the staff it turned out the owner was on holiday. Clearly the restaurant wasn't left in capable hands. We were given 4 beers between the 10 of us as an apology which I had to laugh at. Avoid this place. I rather have a takeaway and eat at home.

This is good value. Breakfast was huge and consisted of 2 sausages, 3 bacon, hashbrown, mushrooms, fried egg, a slice of toast and a hot drink all for £6.99. However, could not choose how wanted the egg cooked or colour of the bread. No beans which was a surprise. Sausages really not great and everything was really, really greasy. The team member who took our order was very pleasant but when we went to till to pay it was cash only which we had not realised - maybe a sign on the door, on the menu or informed when placing order would have been good? All in all a case of we got what we paid for, lots of food for the £ but the quality was not the best.

Fantastic service and fantastic mixed kebab meal. Very clean. Price is the same as anywhere else you would go, for say a steak so not to bad.

Had a wander around Grantham whilst waiting for a train. Came across this venue.... There was a choice of light breakfast menu or the main menu. We were recommended the mixed grill from the main menu. Definitely a good recommendation. A mix of lamb and chicken shish. Wings, lamb ribs, kebab meat, rice and salad. Absolutely delicious. The venue was spotless. Toilet facilities spot on. Staff were amazing. Definitely recommend and would return

Placed an order today at 1850, received a text message stating my order was cancelled - 25 minutes later with no explanation and nobody answering the phone despite the website staying Istanbul Grill was open. I would have expected a call to apologise or explain, however no calls answered all to voicemail. So we'll go elsewhere - somewhere that doesn't leave potential patrons hungry.

What a good place… to stay away! Terrible, terrible, terrible service. The man that appeared to be in charge, shouted to the waitress in front of us making everyone in the restaurant feeling uncomfortable. He was very rude with the staff as well as the customers. Food was ok. However they forgot to bring part of the order, and my Feta salad didn’t have feta at all! Never again!

Me, my daughter and my daughters nannie went in here today, nobody else in the restaurant. The waitress serving was so rude, gave us the wrong menus. Her attitude was awful, looked like she couldn’t be bothered to serve us, no wonder nobody wanted to eat here. We walked out after 5 minutes and went over the road to the pub. Won’t be returning

Delicious chicken shish cooked on authentic charcoal grill. Varied salad all very fresh. Plenty of warm bread, hummus, fresh chilli sauce and aioli. Nice wine too. Friendly service and an overall pleasant atmosphere. Third time at this grill and can highly recommend.

My partner and called in today for a milkshake we have fantastic service previously today was disgusting. I asked a strawberry milkshake a half warm glass of milk turned up. When I asked him politely to change it he grabbed it off the the stormed off showing to the staff in back. I asked to speak to the manager he said I'm the manager a rude man.

Food is really nice here. I've been twice and enjoyed my meal each time. Very reasonably priced. It looks great inside too. The staff are friendly. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was because we found it a bit slow to get drink top ups and the barman didn't know much about the alcoholic drinks on offer because he didn't drink himself. Otherwise, it's a really nice place and we will be going back.
