The best restaurants in South Kesteven East Midlands

I wrote a review in January really praising the child’s macaroni cheese and garlic bread which was accompanied by a lovely fresh side salad and small bowl of cheese. Today we returned, my granddaughter asked for the macaroni cheese again. Really disappointing. It was served without the side salad (which she really wanted) and grated cheese. I did question this and was told the menu had changed. I honestly don’t think so since last month Won’t be ordering food from there again. .

Absolutely lovely afternoon tea, just what was needed on a wet day. Made our reservation online the previous week & were pleasantly surprised you could choose what table to sit at in the quieter area of the restaurant. On arrival was shown to our pre set table & asked what refreshments needed, not long after its arrival the afternoon tea arrived. The picture doesn’t do it justice as there was also 2 home made hot cross buns. We really couldn’t eat it all & were offered cake boxes to take our yummies home. The sandwiches were very filling & loved the cheese scones & real butter! The mini cakes were so pretty but just couldn’t eat them at the time, but they were soon devoured once home. The staff were very nice, will we be back? Absolutely.

absolutely disgusting food and service. Lady called Catharine served me on the till, said ‘what am I doing with this lady here’ I was holding a baby whilst trying to get my food, no offer to help me at all. The tuna crunch Sandwhich was vile. Tasted out of date and just disgusting. Also the till staff always disappear so there’s always people stiff there for ages. Won’t return.

Heidi was great, bought us lots of alcohol, sweets and food. Ladida trip advisor making me use 100 characters when not fit!

Made my usual visit through drive through paid and moved on to collect meal wasn't available told to wait in car park waited 20minutes no meal went in to ask where is meal no apology told to wait after a further 10 minutes got my meal no apology or conversation just a negative look felt really uncomfortable probably senior citizens are not welcome hope not true like the food.

Easily claims top spot for the worst costa coffee experience ever. High prices, worst customer service and transport cafe ambiance the highlights. Ordered a double espresso. No bean added on costa app. Tried to serve in a glass! Eventually received in an espresso cup, no saucer or spoon. Won't visit ever again, and certainly would recommend...to avoid

Went for a coffee and a snack 2 hours before they were due to close, no food available just one or two pieces of cake, had 2 coffees, one was cold and the latte had no milk just a cold black coffee. Prices on the till had been set for an increase in price to start the next day so had to be adjusted to today's price. For £7 for 2 coffees and no service or food we won't be returning, we have been customers for years but wouldn't be prepared to pay a penny more for what is offered.

Visited Thursday morning at 10:30 it was quite and no q, staff were friendly and really helpful with the new app, offered some great sandwich ideas and made a great foot long also got 50% off with the new app

Very smelly, I just wanted to have a drink and the staff member didn't even know what it was, what I wanted to drink although I explained it. She offered me something totally different

First time ordering. Food was luke warm, overpriced and a wrong order. We will stick to our usual in future and won't be going back.

I like the burgers there. The staff is very friendly aswell

Usually have no issues here, although on this occasion not so much. I asked a worker that all the tills were closed, since I only had one item. Nope, Mike was very condescending towards me his tone talking to me wasn’t at all what I expected. I assume this is what he is like with all customers, I would suggest he needs some training on how to talk to people in a polite manner. The law is the law I suppose but seems rather silly that I wasn’t able to purchase a single item.

The absolute opposite of fast food - painfully slow!
