Sadly, not for the first time, this establishment has omitted items from the drive in order. This results in a return trip and cold food as a consequence.

Stopped for breakfast. Was quick and the staff were friendly and happy. What more do you want?

Just wanted to acknowledge the staff (mainly new and trainee) who had to cope with the influx of a few hundred festival goers all arriving at once. I was not a festival goer and did wait for 30mins for my order, but the front of house staff remained polite and courteous even under pressure. Well done 👏 I noted “Hattie” as particularly customer focused.

A surprisingly decent McDonalds! The service was good, the food was fresh, the chips even had salt on them. We worked it out why, and because it was a McDonalds off the A1 in a quiet area there were no delivery drivers collecting orders! That's has created massive problems in most McDonalds across the UK. The only issue with this McDonalds was the men's toilets!! They absolutely stunk. Definitely an issue that needs sorting! But overall, super McDonalds. Loads of room, loads of parking and the food was decent too!

Special praise for cleanliness. I asked for the order to be brought to the table, and it was brought out quickly. Spacious space, comfortable interior, outdoor playground for children.

Orderd on the app and adjusted the ketchup to extra from normal as you only get a small amount. Wasn't expecting it to be flooded with the stuff tho. 🙄.

service at this maccies is shocking ... the food is ok it's maccies it's the same everywhere

Rammed with school holiday travellers when we stopped in. Access very poor and car park tight. Best used as a drive through. Our wait for service was just too long. Appreciated they were busy, but, worst experience of any Maccy D so far. Sorry 😞

For a fast food restaurant it was very slow. Waited nearly 10 minutes for our food.

yet again feel like the chips had been cooked ages ago, cold when I started to eat them. Drink was flat, girl went back to change it but stills seemed flat, couldn't wait for it to be changed again as I needed to get home to eat my cold chips

20 mins in the drive through queue to get 2 double cheese burgers and a latte and the car park wasn’t even half full… also all the bins in the car park were full to the brim with some rubbish spilling out all over the car park.

This review is for McDonald's UK. Having eaten at McDonald's in several countries, UK facilities are a big let down. Food is ok, facilities are not clean and staff does not give a bother about customer service. These are not McDonald's standards in other countries.

Made a £35 order on App didn’t wait very long until food was ready, order was nearly correct just one coke missing. Had to sit outside under parasol as it was raining due to it being too cold inside. The toilets were under repair , no urinals working in gents and there was a problem in ladies.

Easy parking.fast table service..Nice and hot.

Food is hit and miss. Waiting times are shocking for fast food. And don't always get napkins.

Went at a busy time on Sunday, was pretty quiet which was nice. We ordered through the app and it took nearly 20 minutes for it to arrive, as I mentioned it was not very busy. Reasonable amount of parking and is wheelchair friendly. All of the bins were full which meant that we had to put our rubbish in the out door bin.

Food was on point, shame about the flies inside trying to get some..

The hygiene was really poor. Had to wait 10-15 minutes for a simple order (mayo chicken, nothing customised). The toilets were also really unclean. P.S: it wasn't busy at all. Still it was too slow

By far the dirtiest Mcdonalds I have ever been to. Visited this evening to break up our journey home and the place was busy pretty standard for a Mcdonalds which i was expecting so wasnt an issue. Waited around 10/15 minute and when i finally got our food i headed over to the table my wife and kids were sat at which seemed a monopoly of sitting at the least dirtiest table as they were all filthy. We ate our food and had an abundance of flies around due due to the heat and the bins that looked like they hadn't been emptied in days... toilets were filthy too.. this is a family restaurant and it was disgusting to bring kids here. Multiple people around us were making comments about how filthy the restaurant was. The management of this Mcdonalds ought to be ashamed of themselves.

I have never seen such a disgusting sight in a McDonald's toilet before. Two out of four of the cubicles in the women's were overflowing with toilet paper in the loo itself and all over the floor. There were dirty nappies and tampons exposed for everyone to see. They were so disgusting that I had to use one of the "out of order" loos. This one almost overflowed when flushed as it was also so full of toilet paper, but I had no choice. the shop itself was littered and filthy, dirty wet wipes on the floor. Shocking, will not be back to this riddled and filthy place

Really slow service with a queue. No use having technology if there is no one to respond to it. Will avoid this place in the future

Stopped here and met my Brother & Mum, We sat outside and ordered on the app, table delivery. When trays arrived we had to go inside to fetch loads of items they had missed from the order and they didn't put the toy in my nephews happy meal..

Awful. Chicken mayo sandwich looked like it had been sat on and half a teaspoon of mayo in it. No pickle in Big Mac. We will give it a miss in the future.

Regular McDonalds, convenient for the A1. Service has improved here. It was poor when it first opened.

I was here for breakfast and dinner. This McDonald’s opens at 6 am. I arrived at 7:23 am.. it was shut. The drive-through was just one long queue of cars, who had inadvertently joined an unmoving line. The banter outside the locked doors was quite good. But unfortunately, breakfast was not served. I returned at 6 pm. Too late for breakfast now which is a shame because the hashbrowns are my favourite. I bought them at the local co-op that morning. Made myself a fab fry up. Best thing about evening meal was they were open. Well done McD’s. Kudos to Sally, without whom no order would be complete.

It took an absolute age to be served from ordering...20mins, quality was typical of McDonald's, okay but never looks like the pictures.

Turned up its 7.33am says open 24hrs on website, ordered on app went to go in to get my food but doors locked guys comes out says we are not open, so explain paid on app it's left my account the staff member walks away, how ignorant when I've paid for my food,

Drive through was very slow, and I had to wait about 10 mins for a big Mac meal, wouldn't of cared but I was the the only car on the drive thru lol

Good place to spend time with family or friends.

Use this one as a stop when heading south. Its quieter than the normal multi outlet roadside motorway services.

Brutal even for a McDonald's rude staff and nearly half hour wait the staff have no interest in serving

Using the drive thru 9 times out of 10 you have to park up in car park and then wait anywhere between 10-20 minutes for food,when you finally get it,food is always cold. Always check your order before you drive off as always something missing.

I don't wish to eat the food anymore.

THE WORST MCDONALDS IN THE WORLD

Being in the service area of the A1 it does get busy and it does mean a long wait on food when dining in. But it’s better to access than the one in Grantham so I tend to go here. No long waits in the drive thru.

Waited 24 minutes for standard items from the menu, no special requests I.e no pickle. Had to ask where my order was. I wasn't the only one who had waited a long time. Totally chaotic, won't be using again.

Upon arrival I checked my mirrors to see the glamours of McDonalds in my rear view on the edge of my seat buzzing to get in and order I rushed out of my car and was instantly met with a foul stench I brushed it off as it were a minor issue and continued on with my exillerating McDonalds voyage I reached the screen and put my order in as quick as can be without any problems and payed. I looked up to see there was properly enough time to nip to the toilet so I done so when I came back I was gobsmacked to say the least as my order number hadn’t move. I thought to myself well there’s no need for the hassle so I waited patiently for my turn until I had enough I waved the workers over and told them stern to their faces that they were taken the absolute piss and said if I do not have my apple pie and 5 cheeseburgers with in the next 30 seconds then I will go Rambo style and Sandra over here will be taken hostage of course after my convincing threat my burger was placed in my hand to which I replied if you could do it that quick why have I been waiting for 30 minutes ?! I couldn’t be bothered to argue so I left. The atmosphere was 5 stars because whilst I waited they were playing jazz Gandalf

Slow. Always, slow. Forgets things on orders, forgets order all together when waiting in a bay for drive through. Service is just awful

Nice McDonald's, food was good, lots of seating inside and out, good toilets and staff. Kids area with tablets etc EV charging in the large car park too. Fortunately not one of the McDonald's that's been had the soul taken out of it.

Extremely Slow Service , Staff in Slow Motion, but Great Warm Food.

Took 50 mins from arriving in the drive thru to receiving food. We then had to get on the road straightaway and discovered they had got the order wrong, leaving one person without food! We didn't get any explanation as to why it took so long for the driver thru. There was about 8 cars ahead of us and given the size of the mcdonalds that wasn't many. Poor customer service. I know it's McDonalds & "fast food" but there is a level of service expected at least!

Decent place to stop on the A1 - reasonable size car park and drive-thru. Plenty of seating inside and out as well as small kids outdoor play area.

Member of staff was unable to add my discount code from the app onto my order and insistent there is no possibility to add it unless I put my order via the app. I use my discount regularly via this way, so not sure why the member of staff did not ask somebody for help.

I just drove past so I've no idea what it was like. Very proud of the fact that I have never taken my children, now adults, into a McDonald's.

Good stop over plus has high speed charger onsite. Entrance is a bit tricky as you exit A1 for the service, kind of drive though the gas station, turn left (towards the MacD M) and double back on yourself. Pl take care the access road is narrow.

I hate McDonald's with a passion. All the morons who buy it are too stupid to use a bin. The food is awful and the service is shocking. It's everything that's wrong with today's society!

This particular McDonalds was dirty, the toilets were dirty and not working, the area to collect any sauces was filthy and without paper cups to collect the sauce. Overall a really filthy experience.

Waited 23 mins at drive through for a single meal and not even a 'busy period'. Coffee cold by time meal arrived which matched the luke warm Big Mac and cold chips. As no explanation and 5 cars before me served before me after I had been ' moved' , I had to bang on the second window as obviously my order had been lost. Shelby the manager explained they had only 2 kitchen staff which made no sense .. her manner very frosty.She did offers refund which I declined graciously, on the pretex that by the time this arrived, the food would have been very cold. This outlet is on my way home and not the first time the service has been shocking. I have never critiqued a Mac restaurant before .. but this one is consistently awful. Chris Clifford

We'd visited this branch last year and it's in a great location adjacent to the A1(M). Large and spacious with ample parking and some Instavolt electric car charging points. The order took about 10 minutes to arrive at the table but the cleanliness was poor. There didn't seem to be the usual front of house staff keeping things tidy so we struggled to find a clean table despite it not being that busy at 1930 hrs.

Plenty of parking, food was ready fairly quickly. Restaurant was very clean.

They had run out of Big Mac meals. Delivery was being unloaded as we were eating.

Ordering machine receipts not working , toilets not clean , and staff called the trans person “mate” Maybe needs work

Always understaffed. None of the food screens work. No staff to take payment at the windows in drive through. Absolutely abysmal service and poor response from the manager. Ended up just leaving through the drive through without anything 😕

It's quiet at night, weird access road if it gets busy will be a pain to get in

McDonald's never fails to disappoint these days. Imagine this, a chocolate milkshake with an inch and a half of strawberry at the bottom, a vanilla milkshake with an inch and a half of chocolate at the bottom. Is this some new product they are trialling, Neapolitan milk shakes anyone?

I have rated this mcdonalds on its toilet facilities only. Not the worst, quite clean too. Not cramped when you have a number 2 like most mcdonalds toilets. Also plenty toilet paper in the holders. As far as food goes I'm sure it's an average mcdonalds. Hope this helps.

Another week another McDonald's... my daughter dragged me here honest!

Unbelievably slow when ordering inside. 15 mins to get a burger is a joke and they only had 2 orders. Gone down hill so will avoid in future.

Bonus if McDonald's is you always know what quality you'll get.

Lovely visit to this store. Had a great chat with Sally who welcomed us and my son's support dog to the restaurant. The place was really clean and the atmosphere as expected for a McDonalds. Only disappointment was the food was cold. Based on service alone from Sally we would return.

There is nothing BIG about a big mac . smallest burger I've ever seen .. prices go up, and food sizes are ridiculously small
