It's McDonald's... staff were pleasant enough.

20 minute wait for a Badly made wrap and missing wrap. 47 if the staff want to check. Should have been two chilli chicken and one veg wraps. Won’t be bothering with any McDonalds again.

The store was nice and clean as usual and the meal was lovely, however the staff looked really miserable, normally they are chatty and laughing

Burnt chips and chicken nuggets. Wouldn't give a small cup of hot water to warm up a babies milk. Health and safety gone mad as you can get a scolding coffee passed through a window into a car at every drive thru. Shame really as the new place looks good. The carpark looks as though its going to be too small for purpose though.

Take so long to give you the food, service was machine and the staff what was there don't interact with customers. Food wass sat on back shelf for 5 mins before it was handed over. The poor lady in front off me only ordered two coffees and was waiting 20mins. Unreal

Quiet Saturday afternoon. Ever customer in the drive through relentlessly sent to wait in bays for their orders, to the degree the drive through road is blocked.

Toilet are good and they have large parking, which are good, but 9 nuggets and fries was really old and very dry… Anyway, thank you for extra nugget in a box, instead of 9 of them was 10, but food was really old… And McFlurry put so little, less then usually do

Standard modern McDonald's, great space, nicely laid out and awesome staff.

Just the paper coffee cup tops that need sorting.

Best maccies I’ve been to in ages. Food was perfect and the service was great even on a Sunday when no one wants to be working

Not fast food! Rarely has any receipt paper in ordering cabinets so keep on eye open for your number

This McDonald's is located across from A1 and accessible both South and North sides. Good stop off as it has a large car park and drive through. Plenty of seating inside and touchscreen ordering points. Outside seating and play area for children. Food was served warm and was tasty. Good value and great stop off point along the A1.

Nice place. Parking can be hit and miss a at peek times no room for towing vehicles

food was thrown together by a toddler, just a ball if meat sauce and bread. Person taking the order cant hear half of what you’re saying , screen in drive thru does not reflect what you ordered and spend about 5 mins making sure that the order was correct. people seem to have no clue what they’re doing, should have stopped at Burger King instead as i was served by the clowns.

All good. You know exactly what you will get and it was a welcome break during the meal. NB the male toilets were in a disgraceful state

The food is... Well McDonald's. The staff are more interested in socialising than doing their job. I have never known such a long wait in such a quiet McDonald's. I wish I'd got a sandwich from the BP garage next door

Had a breakfast here on a long journey, only a few people in the place and the wait was over 20 minutes with zero explanation or apology. Food was nice and hot though

Food took its time and was lukewarm. There was this lovely kind cleaner working her way round the restaurant and the manager came up and berated her right infront of us which is VERY unprofessional and nasty which made us feel awkward and if she was going to tell the staff off it should be done privately and not in front of customers. Very disappointed to tell you the truth !

Was awful wouldn't suggest going through drive thru as slow and there was 2 other cars so not busy, car park was not even half full, food cold and missing items. But the employee at the first window was polite

One of the best Mc Donalds on the A1. Always stop at this if I am yearning for a burger. Turning for this can be easily missed if not paying attention to the road.

This is the best McD's in the UK. Lovely staff, good customer service and it is always immaculate!

Screen didnt work properly, huge lag if and qhen it worked. Ordered at counter. Quarter pounder meal and the burger was stone cold. Couldnt be bothered to go up and tell them, as its mcDonalds, they dont care.

Got multiple orders wrong, but service was quick and efficient to rectify the mistake

McDonald's service ,food quality, and cleanliness is taken for granted.

First time at Colsterworth McD. Lady serving at the counter is the reason I've given service 5 stars. She was helpful and so cheerful. A pleasure to be served by her. Fairly clean, so overall no complaints.

It's a maccies, you can't go wrong, main reason I'm reviewing is the staff even at silly o'clock in the morning were really lovely.

I've eaten in McDonald's loads of times, but I was unfortunate in this instance that I developed severe stomach cramps an hour after eating a warm quarter pound of meal from the drive-thru. I'll have to mark it down on the bad experience, but this is not a generalisation for old McDonald's I'm sure.

Slowest drive through in the UK I think. Shocking service

Great value burger, nuggets,frues,coffee for £5

There was a family meal of 4 sandwichs but the portion was very tiny not like the pict. The meal was not cheap it was 22 £

Nice big bright and clean McDonald's. When I was there there were enough free places both in the hall and in the parking lot. The order was made quickly. Of the minuses, it is not convenient to enter from the highway... When I was there there was no soap in the soap dishes, both were without soap. Overall I recommend it.

Very slow and the food tastes odd for mcdonald's. Not sure what it was but definitely different.

Standard motorway McDonald’s, very clean, could do with more toilets, having to use the disabled one as the men’s is always closed due to cleaning. Going into the disabled toilet often made me realise how often they tie up the emergency cord - please stop doing this.

Big Mac served cold, used to be good Macdonalds, no customer service.

Stopped off for a quick snack and drink, nice modern place, served quickly and efficiently. Fairly quiet time of day.

Stopped here for hot drinks on our journey home. Yes, it was very busy, but had to ask for our table to be wiped down. Hot drinks (tea & a coffee) arrived at our table without milks, sugar or stirrers. Asked the server for them. But drinks were good as was the mixed fruit muffin.

Took 10 minutes for an espresso - the lid wasn’t even on and burnt me

The food was excellent, the ambience majestic, and service a class above. Somewhere to take that special someone on a special day.

Toilet is clean for McDonald's.

30 minutes in drive through not even busy. Chessburger looked like it had been stood on.

Ordered from the table via the App. Unfortunately the order wasn't correct but due to being distracted by planning the next leg of our journey we'd partially eaten before it dawned on us, so we couldn't raise a complaint without walking to the counter which was already quite busy, so we didn't bother doing that. Inside is spacious and handy for a quick stop for A1 drivers though, and the car park was good too. Maybe just pay a little closer attention to the orders and all would be fine.

One of the best McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Not only is the atmosphere light, cheery and the workers seem happy, but the food is perfect. Shoutout to Claire who made sure my food was correct and swiftly out of the kitchen - you’re a gem! Couldn’t recommend more for a pit stop!

Busy when visited, service was ok. Food was fine.

How can you really rate the service when you did all the work yourself? I put my own order through and the yutes on there barely managed to chuck it together and in my direction. As expected ( I was there under duress) it was barely edible.

Went through drive thru for 2 chicken wraps no one at payment window waited 10 minutes decided to go in and pay and collect told should of waited and to go round drive thru again to pay what a joke of a place

Wait over 30 mins and food was awful . Staff just standing about with no clue what’s going on. Strange experience

I ordered a large latte.. got a lukewarm half cup or, at best, a small cup content. A second visit will strengthen my assessment.

Stopped at1400hrs on way home. Just read the last review. Service staff we good and polite. Food was hot or old as expected. I had a wrap and mcflurry. Toilets were clean. It was busy in the drive-through, but the restaurant not so. Tables needed some clearing and some more attention paid to the interior dinning areas. Otherwise, it was acceptable. Limited period offer on twix mcflurry caused staff issues as it was still on the menue order system but the staff we polite to deal with it. It was an OK stop off if you know how to get into the slip road. Not bad. Could be better.

Very busy , but didn't have to wait very long for our food

Because it was busy, the burgers were made in a rush and definitely not as presented in the pictures. I didn't want perfection, but it looked like they just threw the ingredients all together

What a busy McDonalds this outlet is. Unfortunately the ap was banning problems so had to order in store. But hey ho, all good for that. Lovely & clean.

I've only ever ordered through the drive-thru, so I can't comment on the inside (hence the 3 stars) - but out of everytime that I've been there, I've only encountered one rude employee (but obviously everyone can have bad days). Very nice employees, very helpful, and doesn't take long at all.

Wasn't impressed with chips - although must have been fresh as had to wait for them, they tasted of cardboard, soft & floppy. Disappointed, and as we were on our way travelling, did not go back and report issue.

No hot chocolate. Floors dirty. No sugar, had to ask. Service very slow for a quiet morning. No cleaners present.

Sadly, not for the first time, this establishment has omitted items from the drive in order. This results in a return trip and cold food as a consequence.

Stopped for breakfast. Was quick and the staff were friendly and happy. What more do you want?

Just wanted to acknowledge the staff (mainly new and trainee) who had to cope with the influx of a few hundred festival goers all arriving at once. I was not a festival goer and did wait for 30mins for my order, but the front of house staff remained polite and courteous even under pressure. Well done 👏 I noted “Hattie” as particularly customer focused.

A surprisingly decent McDonalds! The service was good, the food was fresh, the chips even had salt on them. We worked it out why, and because it was a McDonalds off the A1 in a quiet area there were no delivery drivers collecting orders! That's has created massive problems in most McDonalds across the UK. The only issue with this McDonalds was the men's toilets!! They absolutely stunk. Definitely an issue that needs sorting! But overall, super McDonalds. Loads of room, loads of parking and the food was decent too!

Special praise for cleanliness. I asked for the order to be brought to the table, and it was brought out quickly. Spacious space, comfortable interior, outdoor playground for children.

Illegal and unethical attitudes to disabled parking, poor service, noncompliance of health and safety legislation. Management rude and discriminative. Food quality, actual food presented in the order is unappetising and soggy. PLEASE REPORT YOUR OWN EXPERIENCES OF THIS MCDONALDS.

Orderd on the app and adjusted the ketchup to extra from normal as you only get a small amount. Wasn't expecting it to be flooded with the stuff tho. 🙄.

Rammed with school holiday travellers when we stopped in. Access very poor and car park tight. Best used as a drive through. Our wait for service was just too long. Appreciated they were busy, but, worst experience of any Maccy D so far. Sorry 😞

For a fast food restaurant it was very slow. Waited nearly 10 minutes for our food.

yet again feel like the chips had been cooked ages ago, cold when I started to eat them. Drink was flat, girl went back to change it but stills seemed flat, couldn't wait for it to be changed again as I needed to get home to eat my cold chips

20 mins in the drive through queue to get 2 double cheese burgers and a latte and the car park wasn’t even half full… also all the bins in the car park were full to the brim with some rubbish spilling out all over the car park.

This review is for McDonald's UK. Having eaten at McDonald's in several countries, UK facilities are a big let down. Food is ok, facilities are not clean and staff does not give a bother about customer service. These are not McDonald's standards in other countries.

Made a £35 order on App didn’t wait very long until food was ready, order was nearly correct just one coke missing. Had to sit outside under parasol as it was raining due to it being too cold inside. The toilets were under repair , no urinals working in gents and there was a problem in ladies.

Easy parking.fast table service..Nice and hot.

Food is hit and miss. Waiting times are shocking for fast food. And don't always get napkins.

Went at a busy time on Sunday, was pretty quiet which was nice. We ordered through the app and it took nearly 20 minutes for it to arrive, as I mentioned it was not very busy. Reasonable amount of parking and is wheelchair friendly. All of the bins were full which meant that we had to put our rubbish in the out door bin.

Food was on point, shame about the flies inside trying to get some..

The hygiene was really poor. Had to wait 10-15 minutes for a simple order (mayo chicken, nothing customised). The toilets were also really unclean. P.S: it wasn't busy at all. Still it was too slow

By far the dirtiest Mcdonalds I have ever been to. Visited this evening to break up our journey home and the place was busy pretty standard for a Mcdonalds which i was expecting so wasnt an issue. Waited around 10/15 minute and when i finally got our food i headed over to the table my wife and kids were sat at which seemed a monopoly of sitting at the least dirtiest table as they were all filthy. We ate our food and had an abundance of flies around due due to the heat and the bins that looked like they hadn't been emptied in days... toilets were filthy too.. this is a family restaurant and it was disgusting to bring kids here. Multiple people around us were making comments about how filthy the restaurant was. The management of this Mcdonalds ought to be ashamed of themselves.

I have never seen such a disgusting sight in a McDonald's toilet before. Two out of four of the cubicles in the women's were overflowing with toilet paper in the loo itself and all over the floor. There were dirty nappies and tampons exposed for everyone to see. They were so disgusting that I had to use one of the "out of order" loos. This one almost overflowed when flushed as it was also so full of toilet paper, but I had no choice. the shop itself was littered and filthy, dirty wet wipes on the floor. Shocking, will not be back to this riddled and filthy place

Really slow service with a queue. No use having technology if there is no one to respond to it. Will avoid this place in the future

Stopped here and met my Brother & Mum, We sat outside and ordered on the app, table delivery. When trays arrived we had to go inside to fetch loads of items they had missed from the order and they didn't put the toy in my nephews happy meal..
