The best restaurants in South Kesteven East Midlands

We have been regular patrons since Smiths’ opening night but started giving it a wide berth a few years back as service and value had fallen into a steep decline. We returned recently to enjoy the evening sunshine in the garden. Prices for drinks have definitely improved and the garden closest to the building is well kept. Unfortunately, priority is given to the majority as there appear to be no ‘no smoking’ areas and smokers are free to force everyone to join them. Yuk!

Quickly seated before rush started. Coffees were nice but the food let the experience down. The paninis were very dry and well done, not much filling and tasteless. The croque monsieur was awful looking, virtually untoasted triple sliced full of ham but bechamel sauce non-existent, it looked like a blob of melted Brie on top. Also men’s toilet seat broken. Wouldn’t return or recommend.

Good Friendly service by them. There food also well cooked and it present as what we ask them. Best pizza & burger station in town probably in the country

worst food i’ve ever received. said would be delivered between 9:45 and 10 but didnt arrive until 10:45. The majority of items were missing and all food was inedible.

It was very busy. Atmosphere was great. Bar staff was on the ball particularly Simon and another young girl (blonde), sorry don't know your name, but didn't wait for a pint, everyone was happy and chilled. Didn't have any food but we will do. We'll worth a visit

This restaurant was great when it open. At the moment (September 2023) you are lucky if they have all the things in the menu… The waitress usually after checking with the kitchen will say that they don’t have what you just order…

Oh dear. Used to be one of the best breakfasts in the area. Not any more. Poor quality ingredients barely cooked - when there’s other places around serving high quality local produce, this was a real let down: average bacon, mass-produced sausage and hash brown, cherry tomatoes barely warmed through, not even proper butter for the toast Only gave one star because at least one of the servers tried to smile and be pleasant

This place doesn't exist anymore. I've tried reporting to Google several times but they keep rejecting through edit. Don't waste your time driving here!

Popped in on a Sunday to try their sunday lunch . Will definitely go back . Lots of veg , choice of beef or pork. Other dishes available on their chalkboard including vegetarian. Service was very good . Please give it a go , you won't be disappointed. Also , the bar has a great choice of ales which are in great nick.

I think the best curries in Bourne however, they take ages to be delivered and don’t answer calls chasing. I’ve used these guys for years and the delivery issues have only recently arisen. They always apologise and are really nice but it’s frustrating having to wait for so long.

This is one of the better Wetherspoons I have been in. The service isn't bad, not brilliant, but OK. Most of the staff are friendly if lacking in numbers at times.

Place is filthy. Reason given by management was they were busy as they had a wedding. Nah the dirt was not 24 hours old it looked like someone had thrown up on the side of the bed. And I had booked a so called suite Would NOT recommend to anyone

Stayed on Mid week break with my husband and in all honesty the main building is spectacular..Clean, stunning and easy access from the A1 (if you don’t have to cross the motorway) Was greeted at reception by a young girl, not sure of her name...
