It was very busy. Atmosphere was great. Bar staff was on the ball particularly Simon and another young girl (blonde), sorry don't know your name, but didn't wait for a pint, everyone was happy and chilled. Didn't have any food but we will do. We'll worth a visit

My daughter held her wedding reception here and I can't praise the whole experience enough. It was laid out with decorations provided by my daughter plus some that were not. The room looked magical. Michaela, who organised it all by herself went over board to please everyone. Food was fantastic, even sorted vegan at short notice. Thank you so much.

Great value for money and service was first class. Obviously in these times we pre booked a table for Sunday lunch today. All necessary precautions seemed to be in place and obvious to follow. Staff were super helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The lunch menu was extremely good value and the drinks were also. The venue is offering a variety of very good value offers most days of the week would recommend without hesitation.

Yet again the pub manager not doing the job playing pool instead of attending to the bar. Having to wait for beer and snacks BUT OWNER NOT BOTHERED

Went today for the 1st time and we had a table of six. Service was really good and the barman/waiter was really attentive, the Sunday roast was amazing with plenty of food, desserts are very traditional and nice . Will definitely re visit - definitely try this place guys

This was our first visit to The Blue Bell, having moved into the area recently. They are apparently undergoing renovations, and lack of signage in the entrance made us temporarily unsure how to navigate to the right area - bar or restaurant. There didn't seem to be a sandwich or snack menu for lunchtime in either area.. However, we found our way first to the bar and then to the restaurant. There is a fair range of starters and main courses - obviously freshly-cooked food. Some starters and main courses are available at a smaller portion size, which was a good idea for the kind of lunch two of us wanted. Bar and restaurant staff were helpful and friendly and the food very good. We shall come again.

We keep returning to the Bluebell, usually for lunch. Once again a super lunch (served in the restaurant) . Always so clean and with lovely waiting staff. Music playing softly in the background. Enjoyed lasagne (beef) with proper chips and salad followed by cherry and plum crumble with custard. Smaller portions are also available. Thank you to the staff and chef.

Really tasty roast - wanted to eat a second one straight after! Lovely lovely staff! Brought our cakes out for double birthday meal and went out of their way to make it special :) thanks staff!!! X

We have been going here every week ever since we found out the chef from our previous “local” had moved here. The service is 5 *, they work very hard to build repeat business. The menu is very good, requests are considered and delivered whenever possible. Went there for Sunday lunch to celebrate mother in laws birthday. She is very hard to please but really enjoyed the Stilton mushrooms to start and the roast lamb. Not enough room for dessert but we would definitely recommend the Eton Mess, fruit pie, fruit crumble, cheesecake........... all excellent. Please support this lovely pub restaurant in Werrington. You won’t be disappointed.

Visiting the area and this place was close and seemed to be a good place to go. Adveritsed restaurant from 6 to 9 on a Friday evening. We arrived at 7.50 to find it closed because there was a live music evnt being set up. When my wife tried to find out the score, she was treated with toatl contempt and rudeness by the bar person. had to start looking elsewhere.

Lovely staff, great ambience and lots of food on the plate. Little disappointed that there was no stuffing or sausage available but hey it’s great it you can’t be bothered with the hassle of making Sunday lunch yourself. Would go again

Ate here for lunch with 2 of my grandchildren . ( children can be very discerning ) weenjoyed a delicious lunch seated in the restaurant, not in the bar. We had a lovely waitress. The 3 of us enjoyed fish, chips and mushy peas, pasta, and lasagne with chips and salad. The grandchildren had sticky toffee puddding with butterscotch sauce and home made ice cream.

If you are hoping for a nice, quite village pub then this is one to avoid. Hoped it would get better but new(ish) landlords are almost as bad as the last one. Awful!

We’ve eaten here twice now and we were all really impressed. We’ve had a Sunday roast which we couldn’t fault and did the Tuesday meal and wine offer, it was very good value for money and great home cooked food, I had the burger and it’s always a good sign when they ask how you want it cooked! The restaurant itself is well presented, it isn’t a formal setting at all which is nice but could maybe do with some more decoration to brighten it slightly. It’s nice to have another place in the village to enjoy.

If you are looking for a nice quiet village pub then this isn't for you. There is very loud music blaring out at the weekend and a rough, sweary crowd. Feel sorry for the locals who have to put up with this every weekend! Spoils a nice village atmosphere.

The Blue Bell has yet another new landlord but this one shows some promise. Atmosphere has improved dramatically and the new incumbent is making great efforts to win customers. We’ve eaten here three times recently and it the best it’s been for some years. We hope they continue to,do well and give us a real local option.

Just visited, yet again, this fantastic place to eat for Sunday lunch, the staff are so friendly and the chef is amazing. Lovely surroundings and atmosphere. Can’t recommend it enough.

I would like to recommend this restaurant to anyone out there as it doesn't seem to get the recigonition it deserves. We ate there last night and I can truly say it was one if the best pub meals I have eaten in a long time. Great menu with lots of choice all served freshly cooked. I hope that the pub will become more popular as there were only 2 other people eating there . I think this is because there is no website to look at. I actually went into the pub the day before to look at the menu.

Very good menu, food well cooked and presented. Very pleasant and comfortable interior. The pub is perhaps more suited to adults than young children. Very attentive service.

Mi última visita fue reunirse para una discusión de negocios y almuerzo. Las bebidas eran adecuados (Ellgoods gama cervecería pub). Bebimos y conversamos después pedimos nuestro almuerzo que venía con una gran sonrisa. Estaba delicioso. Comida más, llegamos a la conclusión de los negocios y la sensación de estar muy satisfecho con leftg la comida y la bebida y el entorno. Es así que cerca de contento conmigo.

1st time here for family Sunday dinner

Visitamos aquí temprano en un viernes por la noche. Llevaron a nuestra mesa rápidamente. Antes no se sentó y la camarera tomó el pedido. Pedí un filete bien hecho a med sin ensalada en el plato. Mi marido. Las comidas eran comprados y cuando le comentamos que bistec fue preparado a mi orden, me dijeron que ambas eran la misma, entonces ella cuestionó la camarera que tomó el pedido y el chef, luego señaló a uno y dijo que es menos hecho. Este fue dado a la persona equivocada y la ensalada estaba en dos placas. Nos hicieron sentir una molestia para preguntar. También había cuchillos para la carne.

Had Sunday lunch and it was poor, no difference between the medium and large roast ordered, waited far too long for it to be received, took ages for table to be cleared, food was not piping hot, veg was overcooked and meat tasted overcooked the beef definately was torched.

Heard about this new bistros from a friend, Fresh Italian food at great prices, I tried it for lunch with friends and then and evening meal.Great value and good food,

Fui con 4 amigos de la Blue Bell en Helpston. Muy impresionados. Nos llevaron a nuestra mesa por un hombre joven y servido por una señorita. Todos nosotros avaricia que la comida era deliciosa y que habían hecho un buen trabajo en las reformas. Recomendaría sin ninguna duda.

Food was nice but unfortunately the vegetables were served under the lamb shank rather than in a side dish. The ham eggs and chips was wonderful. Slightly long wait for the meal but pleasant helpful staff.
