Popped in again for refreshments briefly whilst out cycling. Every time I go in I’m met with a smile from the friendly staff and owners. Love this place and its position in the village is great for people watching. Today I had an oat flat white and a piece of amazing tortilla. Thanks again.

this place is a little gem! We visited here a couple of time during our stay in Youlgreave. The coffee is good, but the cake .... oh my!!! Incredible cake and the most generous portions!! 1they slice I had lasted me 2 days, perfect! The staff are so nice, gave us cardboard to sit on as the benches were wet. If they did delivery I'd be the size of a house, ha!

We were in the area & planned visiting pocklington. We wanted to get a breakfast / brunch there, so I checked reviews and we went with this gem.. On arrival there was a table to the right that took the 4 of us.. we were told to take a seat.. We weren't told how to go on..whether table service etc...so my hubby picked up 2 menus after a little wait..and got up to order and was told they'd come to take our order this was my only thing I felt wasn't great x We ordered 3 full English one with black pudding and the pancakes . And 3 teas and a coffee we lived the presentation of hot drinks . And the breakfasts were well cooked to perfection No small amount if baked beans but a good sized bowl.. one if our party didn't like the toast & found it a bit greasy ..others disagreed Pancakes were the best ! Cooked to perfection.. light..Fluffy Bill was approx £63 and worth it x

We have been waiting to come here for a good while and so were very pleased to try the festive menu. Service is very friendly and slick; the decor is simple and elegant and, most importantly, every course is delicate, delicious and beautifully presented. You get what you pay for. Our only criticisms are that all of the savoury courses were served warm to tepid. And, it was extremely (and I do mean extremely) noisy in there. I realise that this is hard to control, but it was so loud that we could barely hear each other speak and we were practically shouting across the table. So, it is worth bearing in mind that it is certainly not the place for a quiet and intimate meal. That said, definitely worth a try.

Called in last Saturday and asked if they were dog friendly as we had our dog with us,they said they were so we got a table just for coffee and Cake.Ginger Mocha, Americano and a Almond crossaint. Everything was lovely, staff were very friendly. We even went back again for lunch.Chicken curry and rice plus a spicy chicken panine with salad and more coffee. Even though they were busy we were served very quickly and everything was again lovely. Well worth a visit if your in Bakewell and we will definitely be going back again.

If you go or stay in Eyam you must pay this tea room a visit. Tucked away - just off the village green/centre. Run by a lovely lady. Had homemade lamb soup which was hearty and delicious. Followed by homemade fruit pie and cream which was again delicious. The tea room is full of old ornaments and tea sets - so quirky. Seating inside and out. Booking may be advisable,
