Just been for a meal with the family. The food was excellent and the room has a wonderful view over Bakewell. I would definitely recommend visiting. Also very reasonably priced.

Stopped in for a quick pint and decided to stay for some food and what a good decision, the food was incredible and the prices were very good. I had the Chicken burger for £9.50 and my partner had the special Wagyu beef cottage pie for only £12. Great selection of local ales and great service and great views. All round a very nice experience. We will definitely be back!

Great evening at the Club House enjoying their “Piggy in the Middle” menu. Everyone is so welcoming & friendly. Wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen - each course so clever & inventive & beautifully displayed. Tom is an amazing chef - you can see how much thought has gone into crafting & plating each dish. Exciting to try new things! Can’t wait for the next event. Claire is a wonderful host - we’ve been for their menu during the week & their Sunday lunch & always enjoyed everything. Nothing is too much trouble. Their Christmas dinner was also excellent. So pleased they came to Bakewell. Well done guys. Totally recommend.

Popped in to Bakewell Golf Club and was very impressed with the food. Great friendly hospitality from the front of house. Wonderful walks from the venue into the Peak District. All in all a great experience. I hear the chef has a great reputation. 👍

We won a voucher at the medway centre and went for Sunday lunch it was amazing food and service, clare was lovely and happy to help our picky child have a lovely lunch can't thank her enough

First time visitors, but won’t be our last. Lovely warm welcome and great tasting good value food. Probably the best ever skinny fries! Only slight criticism is that the room felt a little cold. I understand heating is expensive and if it helps to keep the food prices down so be it.

A lovely, delicious and quiet place to have lunch with a friend … I live in bakewell and a friend came to visit me on a Saturday afternoon, and I desperately wanted a place that wasn’t packed to the rafters with tourists and wasn’t overpriced. Our waitress was so friendly, prices were very reasonable, the food was delicious, served quickly and portions were not tiny! The building itself looks very small from the car park, but it’s deceiving as it was very spacious inside and tables weren’t crammed together, so even if it had been full with people, you’d still fell like you could have a private conversation. Since it’s at the top of the hill, the view is beautiful (I bet it’s even better in the summer). This lovely hidden gem was exactly what I wanted and I will most definitely go back frequently with my partner! I’m looking forward to trying the Sunday roast dinner.

We found the restaurant a few months and it is now our favourite go-to lunch spot in Bakewell. Tom and Claire are the perfect combination to give a great dining experience in such a lovely setting. We keep returning, especially as it is such excellent value. Thoroughy recommended!

Great place for Sunday lunch , roast beef was delicious so was the prawn mac and cheese , too full for desert apart from one spoonful of the hubbies syrup sponge and custard , 😋

Very impressed and our teenage son enjoyed his meal, apparently the best meal he has had which was lovely to hear We will return again very soon and I suspect very often. The whole experience was perfect and the service was excellent. Claire is so attentive and helpful.

This is the first time we've been here, oh, what a gem. It was on a Sunday and we both had roast beef. Everything on the plate was freshly cooked to perfection, safe to say that it was the best table served Sunday lunch ever. Claire was such a sweetie serving us, also retaining her professionalism. We'll be returning.

Fantastic food all home cooked and freshly made. This is a real find for a great quality lunch. We had the two courses for £10 on a Thursday. It’s open to non members. We could not resist a pudding too!! Fantastic views over Bakewell. Cannot fault this place for quality and service.

The quality and presentation of the food was of the highest quality. Lovely views and easy parking. Not sure how long this will remain a ‘hidden gem’ in Bakewell as it deserves to do so extremely well on the evidence of our first visit here.

We came here for Sunday lunch last week , the food was delicious and service amazing ! Situated in a lovely spot in bakewell the views are beautiful , plenty of parking and extremely good value for money , a hidden gem !

I love visiting the clubhouse! It's a hidden gem in Bakewell with the most breath-taking view! You can avoid the crowd and take in sights of the entire town and surrounding hills! You won't find prices like theirs anywhere in Bakewell! It is incredibly reasonable, so you can really enjoy yourself withought worrying about the bill! We visited when they hosted a special exquisite three course menu! And the food was incredible quality! Make sure to check their Facebook when they hosting these! I know there is some coming this December .I'm already booked in! However there is traditional pub grub served weekly! And it left me full and happy. The owners Claire and Tom are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It is so amazing to avoid the larger chain owned restaurants and support local people. Please don't miss out if you're in the area!

What a fab place this is! Reasonable prices, convenient parking (hard to come by in Bakewell!) amazing views and delicious food and wine - what more could you ask for? Will definitely be back soon!

Visited on Mother’s Day with 9 family members- all dishes were beautifully presented, extremely tasty and very reasonably priced. The staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly. The restaurant has great views over Bakewell! Would definitely recommend

We had Sunday lunch at the club house for Mother’s Day and I can’t recommend the place highly enough, all of our meals were superb, packed full of flavour and perfectly cooked (the chocolate dessert was to die for) we will be going back soon.

Attended the clubhouse with my mum to treat her for Mother’s Day. We both had one of the specials each and they were both nothing short of incredible; followed by a delicious dessert. 10/10 to everybody involved, would recommended it to anyone.

Mother's day set menu was out of this world !!! I had a meal of the highest calibre at an incredible low price... The salmon with citrus salad was amazing. Followed by a chocolate fondant with a raspberry sorbet....wow'!!! Top restaurant quality. Also a huge thank you to the staff. The lady who served us was delightful. An angel with a menu... Thank you Club House we will be back 😊
