What a gem of a place, I would highly recommend visiting, the staff, the service, the place, the food, the drinks were all amazing.

What a fabulous venue, never fails to impress. Very well staffed, all polite and attentive. Food is delicious too and piping hot. Great to have live music too. Highly recommended.

I booked a private event for 210+ people at the pub in the woods. The entire experience, from booking the event, to turning up and enjoying the experience was effortless and a pleasure. Everything ran so smoothly from our perspective, the venue is remarkable and cannot be justified in photos, the food was incredible especially the hog roast, the crackling was magnificent. The singers were incredibly talented, the staff were friendly and professional. i would book this again in a heartbeat, i have received nothing but excellent feedback from everyone at the event. The photos don’t do it justice!! Environment is outstanding, so so cozy, beautiful fairy lights dotted around, staff were approachable and really attentive. The people that repeatedly served us kept checking into see if we needed anything, lots of spare wood to add to the fire pits. Nothing was ever too much even filling up my hot water bottle for the journey home. Food was delicious, and came right on time, portions were massive! Drinks affordable and lots of options to choose from. With the World Cup being on..they placed a large screen for people to watch. The bands were spot on too! Nothing to recommend as it’s one of the best places I’ve visited and I will most certainly be back!! Thank you so much for our experience.

Truly unique experience and could not recommend highly enough. Fantastic food, welcoming and friendly staff, live music, all in a unique outdoor setting. October evening outside yet so warm by the log fire. Superb atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyed by our group of 10 people. A must to book if you are in the area

Highly recommend. Great service, great food and great fun. A wonderful atmosphere with fire pits and twinkling lights, really added the to the experience and really lovely being outdoors ( you can be indoor if you prefer) Had a fabulous night celebrating. Will definitely be back

What a wonderful evening with friends. The staff are really lovely and attentive. The venue is magical with the fairy lights and fires, and the live music was just perfect. We'll definitely be back!

Visited with four friends on a Friday July night. easy to find and we were greeted at the entrance to the car park by a super friendly staff member who explained where to park (and asked if we were leaving the car overnight). As soon as we walked in it was magical, lit with lots of tiny lights and each firepit already roaring. The tree stumps are comfy (we were on an open air table £40 between five of us) and were easy to move around to fit in our portable chairs some of us had brought for comfort. We’d ordered food for 630-730 slot pretty much for when we arrived. Food portions were large, hot and tasty (I had pizza, chicken wings, fries and a brownie with cream for just £32)- great value as were the drinks. Staff were friendly and always available to take drinks orders or add wood to the fire- they even got in on photos to have a laugh! The music was good - Mike hardy soloist to start then a male duo ; our group felt it would have been better to swap them round as both were good but Mike was a more fun vibe/ people got up dancing and the toilets were nearby and were clean and tidy. We stayed until the end, leaving at 1130pm so had fab 4.5 hours. So pretty and an unusual fun place to visit

Went as part of a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. Quite simply a brilliant night - unusual venue good food and a good selection of drinks ….good value for money staff very friendly and attentive. We took our own chairs as didn’t fancy the tree stumps. Live music great.

Had the best night at The Pub in the Wood. The staff were brilliant, the food was excellent and the alcohol was very reasonably priced. The entertainment was top class and overall it was a really lovely evening. Can’t recommend enough!!

Wish I could give this place 6 stars! Arriving to the venue and walking down the winding woodland path, felt like the beginning of a wonderful adventure. When we found our cabina, with fire pit already on the go, the staff could not have been friendlier or more enthusiastic in helping us. We couldn't believe the high standard of the food when it arrived, the festive fries were in a league of there own! It honestly is the most unique menu I have came across locally. When the live music started, I honestly felt like I was at a mini music festival. Best night out in ages. Can't wait to visit this utterly special venue again!

Just had another excellent night at pub in the woods October fest. The staff are brilliant in what they do. Nothing is to much for them as they go out of their way to make your visit memorable.Would defiantly recommend people to go and try it out.

Great food, one of us said the best burger they have ever had. Dirty chips are awesome. Good beer and wine accompanied by a fire pit create an amazing ambience, and all under cover so no worries if it rains. Highly recommended...
