Family takeaway very nice! Ordered a variety of dishes for delivery. Arrived ahead of schedule and everyone enjoyed. I had the steak 🥩 kebab really tasty. Others had pizza, lamb Donner kebab and received a very nice complimentary garlic bread 😀. Next delivery on way!

Had a great experience from dalo kebab. We had visited ashbrown from Birmingham. Good food for reasonable price. Didn’t expect much hospitality from this kebab shop. Amazing guyz. Keep going, cheers🍺

Great local takeaway place, that serves some of the best pizza in the area. Easy to order online, and they substituted the toppings as I'd requested, which I was most grateful for. Also gave me a complimentary garlic bread, which was as delicious as the other food.

I Placed an order with Dalos but had to cancel as I had to go to hospital with my baby. I called Dalos to explain the situation and they have now banned me from placing orders! I think it’s absolutely disgusting that they have done this!! The worst thing takeaway in ashbourne and very rude!! Will be informing all my family and friends to never use Dalos again!!

Fantastic kebabs. The meat comes with grilled pepppers and onions, which is a nice touch. Generous portions. Very friendly and helpful staff when asking about food allergies. Free garlic bread was given to us too. Highly recommend.

Amazing food in this place. We stopped on our way to get some food here and we were very satisfied. Vegetarian pizza and chicken shish kebab were so yummy and the meat was Halal. The owner gifted us a garlic bread for free. Highly recommended

Delivered direct to our holiday lodge at the Sandybrook and the food was still piping hot on arrival and in a very short space of time. We had two chicken kebabs that were very tasty and were very filling and large to say we ordered two small meals. We also got a free garlic bread pizza. Could not fault it.

my friends and i were just passing through the area for 1 night, and dalo’s provided us with a perfect meal we ate in our hotel. they delivered within the time they gave us and even gave us a free cheesey garlic bread pizza. my regular donner kebab was THE best kebab i’ve ever had in my life - no CAP. great takeaway

Had to wait a little while for food but well worth the wait as it was hot and delicious! Bit disappointed that when we spent over £20 we didn't get the offer of a garlic bread or bottle of drink though and then a can of drink was thrown in instead. It was however reasonably priced.

We dine in with kids this evening. The staff is very nice and friendly. Food are valuable and in big portions. Kids love the burgers and pizza. We will recommend this shop.

Hgv Tramper Driver that eats takeaway from John o Groats to Lands End. Dalo is bar far the best takeaway in the country. If your a local you s/be 😁😁. I night out in Ashbourne for this reason only, keep up the good work boys/girl 👏 👍. My favourite is the chicken doner value box 🤪🤪

Ordered 2 chicken burgers and chicken strips and chips and it took over 2 hours for delivery which is a joke! and I rang them about 20 times with no answer on a Tuesday! U need to book your ideas up ir won't be going to u again

I ordered online, collected and I really enjoyed the food. Pizza base was very fresh smelling and tasting, chips were great, no oil twang etc. Definitely recommend

Don't know about the pizzas but the kebabs were top notch and great value. And I know a thing or two about kebabs, I'm Turkish. Would thoroughly recommend.

Very generous portions and lovely fresh food. Good value for money. Very busy when we went so waited about 15 mins for our food, but all freshly cooked and it was worth the wait. Would definitely return if we were in the area again.

We were staying at a camp site in Ashbourne ordered a takeaway of pizzas , garlic bread , chicken nuggets and chips for the kids. The kids meals were horrible , the chicken nuggets were the cheapest ones probably bought in bulk and kids had one bite and couldn’t eat them. Pizzas were horrible no flavour to them . We had to throw most of the meal away. Wont be ordering from them ever again

I've just moved into the area and was looking for a kebab and stumbled onto dalo, s the staff were pleasant and the food was fab a little over priced maybe but you did get loads also chucked in a free garlic bread nice, ill defo be returning

Always good food and fairly priced

The order online and pick up service is handy which is why I tried Dalo (although it does add a small service charge for some reason), food was extremely disappointing and alot more expensive than other local takeaways. Sheesh kebab was just chunks of lamb with no seasoning and very bland and tough and the naan bread (which was £1.30 extra!) was more or less just a tortilla wrap. Southern fried chicken was disgusting I tried one bite then fed it to my dogs. Chips were okay but £1.20 more expensive than just down the road. I tried Dalo a few years ago and remember being similarly disappointed but that time I had a long wait for my food also. Definitely will not entertain the idea of trying there again, do yourself a favour and go to one of the other local takeaways.

Really appreciate the delivery being prompt and polite, especially in such thick snow. Being able to pay via card is an absolute game changer. These guys are the best in Ashbourne. Food is really good. The fact they offer thin crust pizza that isn't a grease laden mess makes them way above the competition.

Such a good pizza takeaway! We came away to Ashbourne for a short break and this was our first evening meal. We ordered online and it was delivered before the expected time directly to our lodge (Sandybrook). The chips were delicious and plentiful, the tandoori chicken pizza was amazing and all the adults and children loved it. Excellent all round.

Helpful guys when you are from out of town

Quick delivery and food was good Ordered a large fish and instead of chips I wanted a salad which wasn't your average lettuce and cucumber affair . Decent food however I wouldn't necessarily recommend the prices as they are very steep compared to places 2 miles further down the road!

The worst food I ever eaten made to wait 95 minuites then food was stone cold and when I rang them they was very rude and service overall was shocking I highly recommend not to.eat here!!!

Working in a factory. So have to have set break times, had two takeaways, this week and both been late,. Twenty minutes today, and with no apology.. food adequate, won't be using them again. Work colleagues had to go 8 hours without food, cheers dalos

I visited Dalos last night with friends, we ordered our food and stayed inside and waited. after some time we questioned where our food was as we had a taxi waiting. they hadn't yet started our order as they had lost our ticket (which they found in the bin!) when we asked for our money back otherwise we would miss our taxi they refused as they told us we "could of picked the order number up off the table" the young lad that took the order admitted to remembering our order but the man in charge was not accepting it. we have been going to Dalos for a long time but will not be going again due to such poor service!!

Not going to lie - I don’t think I’ve ever set foot in Dalo’s without first frequenting some local ale houses first 4*s for their ability to understand my ramblings at the end of an evening and for providing hot food. Menu is as you would expect and prices are reasonable for the portion size you get. Burgers are generous in size as are the chip portions. Ample seating available. Pizzas take a little time to prepare but are value for money. It’s not gourmet dining by any standard but the staff are friendly and there is a delivery service if you so require.

We have visited this kebab shop many times and will return. The staff are very friendly. My only criticism would be that the chicken kebabs cooked on the skewers are ofter over cooked and dry..

We were staying at the lodges nearby and ordered some food from their website. The food came earlier than we had asked for but that’s fine. We both had a kebab each with salad. Quick service and the driver was friendly. Big portions!

We ordered pizzas, garlic bread and fries on Friday September 14th. We were staying at Callow Top Holiday Park and we were not impressed at all. We ate the fries and threw the pizza and garlic bread away. It was more expensive than Dominos and that’s saying something. We wouldn’t recommend at all.

Said on the door Free delivery. Ordered a Doner kebab with salad and a naan bread. Service appalling, after 10 minutes of waiting in a restaurant with only 4 people in. Finally served and received a burnt Pitta Bread. Whilst eating my anaemic kebab meat lady came into store upset she had ordered a meal 1 1/2 hours ago and nothing had been sent. they did not seem bothered. Phone rang inside the restaurant for about 2 minutes no one answered it. One to avoid.

We had been staying in the area for a week, and decided on our last night we would get a takeaway. We had kebabs, chips and a kids meal all really high quality, and the service was amazing cracking guys gave us lollipops for the little ones + free drink and garlic bread. if I lived here I would use this place all the time.

Pizzas have no taste at all. Ingredients quality is cheaper than cheap. Quantity is generous.

Was visiting family and we decided to visit Dalo Pizza and Kebab for three pizza . Very friendly clean and helpful .The food was very tasty everyone enjoyed the pizza and we will visit again .

I was recently told you could order and pay online at Dalos and either collect or have delivery, It’s so simple and easy to do, menus are set out easy to follow and caters for all needs, You then get an order number and advised delivery will be around 45 minutes, There is a timeline to, to advise they’ve got the order, it’s being cooked and then on it’s way! We had burgers and children’s sausage and all was delicious plus we got some free garlic bread and our order was only £13 something! Will definitely order this way again!

The pizza with crispy base was hot and delicious. My kids loved the pizza and the chips. A couple of them thought it was the nicest pizza they had ever tasted- and believe me, they’ve tasted quite a few! There was a mistake with the order and we were given a free pizza as well. It was unnecessary as we were in no rush and weren’t annoyed at all, but I thought it was really excellent customer service. If only other businesses could take a leaf from this book. The food was good, reasonably priced and customer service fanastic. We will definitely make a return visit.

Can't really rate the food as it didn't even arrive, and they didn't reply to my emails. They still charged my card though which was nice.

Popped into Ashourne for a pizza for my daughter and I on Saturday night while staying in the area. The service was friendly and helpful. I got a pepperoni pizza with added veg on. It was delicious!!Was even given extra treat for my daughter- was a special touch. Will go back if ever in the area again.

Cold kebab, food on floors staff who struggle to understand you at times. Another ten a penny poor kebab house. Save your money and go up the road to bennys instead.

Takeaway from here on a brief trip to Ashbourne. Service was friendly and efficient. Pizza was good. Fresh ingredients and nice crispy crust.

I normally don't order takeaways, but sometimes I just don't have time to cook (or can't be bothered). Anyway, I've ordered twice from Dalo. Order was delivered in around 35 minutes. On first occasion, 12' spicy pepperoni pizza was overcooked (without mushrooms). On second occasion, pizza was undercooked (still no mushrooms).Why do I mention mushrooms? Well...its a spicy pepperoni with mushrooms! I won't order from Dalo again. £1.50 for local delivery is just too much. What's even worse, they claim to deliver for free - "Order online your favourite pizza and kebab and get fast free home delivery service" yeah, yeah, yeah...
