Well presented cafe/diner. Lovely staff, great food. Great location. Welcoming friendly service. Well worth a visit

The latest visit of many, my grandson and I enjoyed the pizza, whilst my husband had the Chicken alla Crema with saute potatoes ...which he said was delicious. The food and service has been consistently good whenever I've eaten here. Being a resident of this lovely town, it's great to have such a lovely restaurant on my doorstep.

Delicious food, lovely friendly restaurant, definitely coming back for more. Looking forward to breakfast one day soon.

Good food, well cooked, nicely served. We were glad to finish our visit to Wirksworth with a light lunch of high quality.

We were looking for somewhere to eat and came across Cicchetti. I can highly recommend. The food was delicious. Carlo and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be going back.

Back again and everything consistent with our last visit. Excelled food and very welcoming staff. Just a fantastic Italian restaurant and cafe located in our favourite Derbyshire Dales/Peak District town, the beautiful town of Wirksworth. Has to be one of, if not THE best Italian in the county

Friday night dinner here was delicious. Carlo was charming as was the waitress. The venue is cosy so tables are quite close together & I imagine it can be quite rowdy when at full capacity. Service was prompt & friendly with big smiles. We ordered the mussels & calamari to begin, followed by the salmon & lasagne. We both had a glass of house red, which was rather yummy. The bread served with the mussels was so good that we had to eat it all, dipped in the mussels sauce of course. This didn’t set me up well for the lasagne though, which was a decent portion size, again very yummy & ate it all so had to walk home back to Cromford after a swift one in the feather star. Carlo was lovely to chat to and the food served here is home cooked to a very good standard. We will be back!

We have just had a fabulous evening at this restaurant….the staff were all amazing, very friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely fabulous. We really really enjoyed it!! Would recommend 100%

Beautiful meal in chilled setting. Staff very supportive and attentive. Vegan options really good. I would definitely go again and recommend to vegans out there.

Tasty freshly cooked food by experienced chef. Now licensed but wine list limited and average for the price. Need to put more information about the wine on menu.

Had 3 small plates between 2 of us. There was plenty to eat and food was delicious. Service was excellent and we were given a friendly welcome.

We had coffee and brunch at Cicchetti by Carlo today, Sarah had the Eggs Royale and I had the Eggs Benedict. Both were cooked to perfection! We would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again soon!

We managed to stumble across this little gem whilst visiting family and what a gem it is! Pizzas were delicious and just the best lasagne! We’ll defo be back

A fabulous place for coffee and croissants, we called in on a freezing cold day and was warmly greeted as we sat down. We ordered coffees and asked what pastries they had, decided on two chocolate croissants. They were delicious, as was the coffee. Very reasonably priced, if we lived locally I would be visiting every Saturday morning! Lovely to see a real open fire burning.

Gorgeous, authentic Italian in a beautiful location. Food is high quality and the Italian owner lovely. Pasta, pizza, superb We've been in for coffee in the morning too, both the coffee and pastries were really excellent!

Very delicious, the chef came out at the end of the night and thanked everyone. It’s a small place so I would definitely understand you may have to wait (we did) but it’s worth it and very delicious food.

The restaurant feels impersonal and sparse, it lacks atmosphere. This venue has always lacked a cosy feeling. Food OK.

First visit but definitely won't be the last. Had a really great night with a small group of friends. All the food was fabulous. Service was excellent.

I had an excellent spaghetti carbonara and my wife had an equally good mushroom risotto, followed up with tiramisu and coffee. All for very reasonable price. A good addition to the town’s eating out offer.?

This is a small, recently opened restaurant in the town of Wirksworth. My wife and I enjoyed our wedding anniversary meal there recently. It was on a Tuesday evening, so it was a fairly quiet night. We were welcomed heartily and well looked after throughout the evening. The food was excellent and not especially expensive. The menu was not extensive, but offered a reasonable amount of options. The seating and decor were a little plain and basic but quite comfortable. Overall it was a lovely evening and we intend returning soon. One small problem (that will soon be rectified hopefully) is that they do not yet have a drinks licence, so we had to take our own wine (and pay £5 for the privilege).

Great lunch yesterday. Food was excellent and good value. Smoked Salmon Tagliatelle from the specials board was delicious

We visited for lunch with our friends from Elton - this is a great addition to Wirksworth. Excellent food quality, first class service. Will definitely return. But need to get you alcohol license sorted. However it was a superb lunch. Absolutely excellent.

A bit disappointing, although the quality of the food was good, there just wasn't enough of it! Accompanying salad was poor and didn't show a lot of imagination. No starters as we know them. Side dishes need some imagination.

Good food. Reasonably priced. Excellent friendly service . The restaurant serves to be a success . We had a great night in lovely surroundings . Great view of the town. Would recommend.

This is a cosy new restaurant. We had great service from Roland, and the food was really nice and tasty and cooked by Carlo, enjoyed the atmosphere and would go again.
