A welcome stop for a coffee and other snacks midway through a walk. Good nearby picnic tables. Friendly service

We met up here with a group of friends for a joint walk and many of us used the delightful vintage van to buy drinks and snacks. There's a good range of choices, all nicely prepared and served by a pleasant and helpful hostess. No one was disappointed and one of our part was especially delighted to be given the option of Wensleydale cheese with her fruit cake.

Lovely spot fir a good coffee and sausage roll at end of walk on Curbar Edge - helped that it was a beautifully sunny afternoon. Nice touch having a couple of tables with chairs by the van too.

Me and my partner came here knackered from the walks around the peak district. So glad we did we had a hot chocolate and it was one of the best tasting I've ever had lots of flavours such as nuts, caramel, salt. The cherry brownies we had as well where fenoninal couldn't fault them. And the prices tbf are reasonable really when you compare them to high Street vendors. Overall recommend 100%.

Always visit this coffee van when out on our usual circular walk from the Grouse inn at the Longshaw Estate. Can always depend on it for getting a very good cappuccino or flat white. Forget the big coffee chains and support independent places like this. They definitely deserve the business as they will be there no matter how cold it is.

Located at the far end of the official car park for Curbar Gap on Clodhall Lane is this lovely vintage VW van snack/coffee/tea bar. If not taking your food & drink with you they have provided a couple of tables and chairs next to the van or you can sit on the grass nearby if the tables are occupied. They sell a great range of home made cakes, coffee (incl decaff) and teas. There is also a picnic area with more benches nearby located at the start of the walk to Curbar Gap, overlooking the start of the Baslow Gap walk. Their prices are reasonable for the location even though Baslow is not far away. Highly recommended!

To add to my previous review, which still stands, some great improvements as not only is there no problem taking your own cup (which of course there should not be) but you get a discount for doing so, and Louis now has the facility to take cards so your choices are not limited by how much cash you have on you.

It was great to stumble across Jolly’s when walking Froggatt Edge for the first time. Excellent coffee and great blankets to keep us warm in the freezing sunshine - just perfect. Cakes and sausage rolls looked great - will be back in two weeks time!

Visited here especially to try out the cakes & coffees after reading other Tripadvisor reviews. Excellent coffee, yummy hot chocolates & very tasty white chocolate & cranberry flapjack. Lady who owns the van very friendly, would definitely call here again. Thanks very much.

Curbar Edge is one of our favourite places to go to blow away the cobwebs and get things in perspective, given how far we are from the sea here.

Great find in a car park. A 'Jolly' catering van selling first class coffee and home made cakes. The van has a few tables and chairs but there are plenty of grassy banks to sit on if it's busy. Cash only.

After a six mile circular walk last Sunday a cup of really good coffee was really welcome, you have a job to find a decent coffee in some towns so to get one miles from anywhere is fantastic.

The salted caramel peanut slice is my favourite, then there's the brownie ..or maybe fruit cake with Wensleydale cheese. Sausage rolls mmm. Like a previous reviewer we too have changed our walking routes frequently for an excuse to start or finish at Jollys, or even on a chilly day, mid walk. They have a proper coffee machine, & do soya lattes & ordinary ones ! Gluten free cakes are always on the menu too. Get outdoors ...any excuse to visit Jollys.

A cold crisp Sunday morning walk, followed by excellent tea and coffee and feta cheese scones, looking out over a magnificent view. The sausage rolls were apparently excellent but the group of cyclists in front of us seemed to buy every one they could.

Fabulous coffee and scrumptious tray bakes served with a smile out of a quirky Citroen van .The icing on the cake after a beautiful but busy walk along Curbar Edge.Sarah also catered my daughter's baby shower supplying the best baby blue lemon curd cupcakes I've ever tasted and an Apple and Blackberry cake which had my husband complaining when it was scoffed all too soon.

It is slightly worrying that our walks are now being arranged around an essential visit to "Louise", Curbar Gap's excellent coffee van, rather than some other icon of the Edges, but Jolly's is a treat. Excellent coffee and hot chocolate ( the best around) and great cakes. A perfect point to stop off on a walk - and we always seem to bump into friends with the same idea.

It's a real delight to visit Louis, the coffee van at Curbar Gap car park. The small selection of cakes are freshly baked, beautifully presented and taste delicious. We plan our weekend dog walks to ensure a coffee stop here and no visit would be complete without one of the special home made dog biscuits for our four legged friend. There are tables and chairs (and blankets) to give tired legs a rest. Oh, and the coffee is pretty good too.

Whenever I come to the peak district to visit my Dad, a trip to the Barley Mow is an absolute necessity. This unique and marvellous place has more personality and warmth than any pub I know. Food is great, beer is well kept, cider selection is off the hook. The decoration and posters on the walls sing both of the histories the Barley Mow preserves and of the communities it so ably serves. Most highly recommended.
