The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

Best and Freshest Whelks Ive had for a while and we travel to a seaside destination everyweek and get seafood and ice cream. I lovely lady served me and this is my Dover go to place for Seafood from now on. Very reasonable prices a buy by the pint here which is rare now. Highly recommended!

Terrible waited around 15/20 mins for fish ,tinned roe was very fishy taste chips was all most cold .in all waste off money!!

We had passed by many times but decided to call in for an early evening meal. The Good - the menu is based on what is served in the adjoining Fish & Chip shop. The Bad - service was slow and the food was excessively greasy. The Ugly - the seats are uncomfortable, blue & pink flourescent lighting is a bit nausea inducing and the background music was not in the background but almost killed conversation. An interesting experience but I doubt we'll repeat it.

Chips were almost cold and didn’t look barely cooked. Got charged for a pickle I never got and this has happened everytime I have been in the shop. Chicken batter was greasy and not pleasant but the cheesy chips are advertised as cheese and cheese sauce, no cheese sauce and the chips were dry and almost undercooked. I’ve been to the chippy maybe 4 times over the past couple years as I want it to be nice but it just isn’t and it’s quailty of food is crap. Hate to be the one to say it but very poor and always has been, real shame I want them to be really good but just hasn’t been ever.

Monday 3-4pm quick snack.. longgg wait! I joined the queue consisting of one couple. They ordered a portion of chips each and I only ordered a pain sausage They must have been there a few minutes and were given their order 5-10mins later. I was finally given my order 5mins after that! No apologies or meaningful communication the whole time. It would appear they prioritise all/any sitting customers at the expense of clearing queuing customers.. no matter how simple orders may be. Hope this feedback helps!

Think the need to change the time they open for lunch it says 12 but never open for 12 food was average at best and £9.50 for a sausage and chips is a joke

As a fish and chip lover…. This place is my top 3 in London 😍 always fresh and tasty! Can eat in or take away but always delicious

I ordered the Yorkshire Fishcake x2 and the potatoe was not cooked so the meals were inedible.

What a disappointment!!. I have had food from here before and I've always been happy. However tonight's offering was atrocious. I decided to give them a second chance after my previous visit at 8.15 they told me they weren't cooking any more. (They close at 9). I ordered fish and chips and gravy. They fish was dry, old, and the batter was very thick and chewy. Not like previous offering of crispy and fresh. The chips were obviously 'old' and cold, and had burnt buts on them which is a clear sign of old oil. and the gravy was gloopy and lumpy. The vegetarian burger was bland. What an absolutely waste of £20.00. We spent all day working and this was a treat. Disappointed at the quality of the food and the previous attitude of the staff. I do not recommend this place. They have lost a customer!!!!

One of the best fish and chip shops in Cambridge. Sadly, it seems to be closed now. I hope they come back at some point

We ordered 2 Fish n Chips for £25 and the quality was awful compare to the price charged. Had to pay extra for ketchup and mayo which was strange. Please avoid as there are some decent options near by.

Food is rubbish I had fish and chips discusting I threw the fish away. Never again worst fish and chips I've ever had. I don't think foreign staff no how to cook fish and chips, mushy peas
