Brothers Fish Bar in Enfield

Hello, the fries were soft, not crispy at all seems like it was left out for a very long time. the chicken pieces were very dry and the skin wasn't crispy at all. I usually buy from you guys but now I have experienced this I won't be coming back.

Mouldy burger, rotten lettuce absolutely vile. Covered in half a bottle of oil.

Food always nice and fresh. Friendly staff, food yummy in my tummy. 🤣

Prior to today, 1st class fish chips and service. However, today: 30 min wait for 1 portion fish n chips/burger & chips. Fish and burger left to sweat under lamp, chips old and flaccid, vile. Won't be back

Beautifully cooked fish with nice crispy batter, not too thick. Excellent service. Both the fish and chips were cooked whilst I waited. It was well worth the 5 minute wait. Clean shop and nice guys who were on duty Tuesday evening. Well done.👍

Won’t deliver my food because I’m ‘too far’ yet when checking the distance it’s 7 minutes, when told that then changed the excuse to ‘there’s too much traffic on Lea valley road at this time’ bearing in mind I can see it from my window and there is none. Ridiculous

Me and work colleague were off loading on the day has we are truck drivers,the un,loading got delayed and we had to stay the night in Enfield,the brothers fish bar was recommended to us and we wasn’t let down,it was one of the best fish & chips I have ever eaten,not greasy or oily just very nice fish & chips.

Just about on time, waited an hour and can’t even eat what I’ve been delivered. received food I can’t eat because the restaurant was “too busy” to call me and tell me they was out of stock, yet answered the phone straight away when I called to tell them.

A large order (20) well cooked and prepared for the arranged time. Batter not too thick, chips tasty.

Had cod and chips twice with mushy peas and a portion of chicken yesterday, absolutely gorgeous, very fresh and generous portion of chips, fish is cooked while you wait so it is still red hot when you get it home, staff are very friendly too, would definitely recommend Brothers fish bar to anyone, well worth the money.

I come to this fish bar so often because the food is always so good! The fish and chips are just amazing the batter is so crispy and the chips are lovely, moreish and plentiful, recently tried the quarter pounder burger and it definitely won’t be the last it’s delicious and perfectly cooked. On top of that, the staff are SO friendly! Would 100% recommend

I ordered food from them today at 7.15 pm. The delivery time was within 45 minutes after placing my order I received an email that food will be 20 minutes delayed; however, after two hours, food didn't arrive. My whole family was fasting. We opened our fast without food, and I drove to the shop to find out about my order. I attempted to call them 26 times, but they were not picking up the phone. Both guys at the shop were very rude. Even though I told them that we were fasting and the food didn't arrive on time, they were not apologetic and said the money could be returned. After a bit of argument they Refunded my money instead of the food. Insulting staff. Never again

Have been in the shop few times with no problems until today when ordered 2 burger meals. In the notes wrote down that I want burger sauce, onions and coleslaw. I received burgers plain. No sauce, no vegetables. I phoned the shop and answer was - sorry. They couldnt offer me any solution to fix it. Horrible customer service! Spend £16 for bun and burgermeat! Never again.

Not bad, chips ok but greasy, sausage in batter could have done with being a little more battered.

Tasty cod, haddock, and chips. Always provided with a very friendly and helpful service. There are four small dining tables in the very clean fish bar.

Overall I was impressed with the service and quality of the food. It was my first visit after I saw that they advertised a 5-star hygiene rating which always gives me confidence. I ordered a regular size Cod & Chips. The chips portion was very generous with a few crunchy bits, the cod was cooked in a nice batter. To improve I think the cod fillets should be cut thicker rather than being thin and long, to make the meal complete they could have thrown in a wedge of lemon and some tartar sauce. I would go back again to try their other menu items.

Fabulous food, big servings, friendly banter from all the team, we had avoided this local business until quite recently and were more than pleased with the improvements, a local gem we have found through lockdown. Food cooked fresh throughout the day, not too big batches, oil is kept clean (you can tell from the food), think we may class ourselves as regulars. Thanks #BrothersFishBar

Ordered through deliveroo fish was disgusting and inedible I phoned to complain the person who answered the phone apologised and offered to send a fresh order which never arrived I phoned to let them know and was spoken to very rudely I would never order from them again

I used to enjoy this takeaway! However when we last used them the fish batter was still wet and soggy! This isn’t cheap for two large rock & chips! When I phoned them to say the batter wasn’t cooked the reply was Oh sorry about that 😡😡😡Never again thank you will never use this shop again..

This used to be a really good fish bar but just recently it’s gone diwnhill fast,I have eaten skate since I was a kid and used to buy it from a wet fish shop ,the fishmonger would always cut me a piece and I know you cut it from top to bottom ,tonight the piece I got was cut horizontally ,I guessed instantly as it just had no thickness to it so there was hardly any fish on it and it was impossible to eat as you need the thick bone to hold it together,if they’re going to do this to save money I’m not going there no more,as I still paid the same price as in the past when they cut it properly

Right to begin with it was over priced and no other options , chips were under cooked hot wings were disgusting burger was basic my suggestion AVOID AT ALL COST

The delivery wait time was very good when the food arrived it was very fresh and hot.The chips here are amazing you can tell a lot of love gose into the food, even though I have only ordered from here once I really can't stop thinking about how yummy my meal was. I Would definitely eat from here again, Would definitely recommend.

Good fish and chips staff very helpful

I have been using this fish shop for over 30 years and now, but never again. Since new owners or different ones it has been terrible I ordered cod and chips for delivery. It was late but worse was the fish batter was hard and the base was so bad you could snap it. As for the fish well I ordered cod and but in was thin and did not taste like cod at all. .y guess it was Pollock and it was so refried from earlier. Take advise and find a shop that sell Cod and chips

One of the best fish and chips shops in the Enfield area.

I placed my order and was told my order would be delivered within the 1 it took 1 hour 20 mins . With that being said my order was received incomplete I called up the shop asked for a refund and for them to take my food back they refused and told me my drinks would only be delivered to me when they have an next order within the area . The food was VERY cold . The way I was handled by this business was very poor and I will never be ordering from this shop again .

Normally food is excellent and delivery good ,but don’t know what happened tonight waited almost 2 hours for delivery phoned twice to ask where it was ,finally arrived fish was ok but chips didn’t look very nice and were lukewarm ,to add insult to injury one item was missing too late as delivery person gone called but girl who answered didn’t know what to say

Lovely fish and chips. Used for a few years. You have to try there southern fried potatoes. The special fish and chips is a bargain and perfect size for one.

Food is is always fresh and a friendly service

Ordered online for delivery at 7.30pm the food didn't arrive till 9.05pm. The chips was very pale in colour and chewy. They weren't cooked enough. Won't be ordering from there again.

I saw a moped delivering food on my street a couple of months ago and it said Brothers Fish Bar on the side. I love fish and chips so I made a mental note that they deliver to my area. On Saturday night I had some friends over to watch the boxing and they were up for fish so we ordered online 2x haddock and chips, 3x cod and chips, a beef and onion pie and some mushy peas and curry sauces on the side. The food went down a storm, the fish was great, the pie was great (he said it was one of the best pies he'd ever had - and he's had a lot of pies) and the chips were good too. A couple of people said the chips were perfect but personally I prefer mine a little fatter and more potatoey. When I ordered online it said it would take 45-60 minutes and it arrived in 40 minutes with no mistakes. It's not the best fish and chips in the world but for value for money and the fact they deliver to my door I'll definitely be using Brothers Fish Bar again.

Been a few times and always enjoy the friendly service. Staff are always polite and willing to cook the food fresh if your willing to wait. Always enjoy the chips and southern friend potatoes the most. The cod is not bad too Location is good as its only a few minutes away from Brimsdown station to pick up a quick bite to eat on the way home

Ever considered getting a delivery from Brothers Fish Bar Brimsdown.... DON'T BOTHER!! Estimated delivery time 30-40 minutes...Reality 1 hour 10 minutes, the food was awful, overcooked to the point of cremated, handful of chips (the server must of had very small hands) phoned to complain barely an apology.....NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

This is the one of the best i have ever had the pleasure in using, the food is always piping hot even when delivered and the chips are out of this world. Also you can pay on a card whether you take away or order over the phone, that's a great help I WOULD SCORE THEM A 10/10

He estado yendo a este chip shop por más de 10 años y me pareció muy bueno. Estar desempleado en el momento en que no puedo ir tan a menudo como me gustaría pero yo me tratan ahora y otra vez. Tienen asientos en ahora allí por lo que estoy normalmente sentarse a comer. Esto ahorra lavando, mi luz y calefacción.

He estado aquí muchas veces y nunca me ha decepcionado. No tengo ni idea de lo que los otros críticos son sobre! Las patatas fritas son probablemente la mejor que he probado en mi vida! Para mí lo único negativo es que las costillas cortadas y 5 se venden a una porción cuando cualquier otro bar de pescado vende el estante en su conjunto por el mismo precio. En cuanto a 'conchas de mar' por la carretera? Sin duda esa crítica es broma en el extreme! Hermanos es muy recomendable!

Había estado antes y tenía una sabrosa comida, así que estamos muy decepcionados. Patatas fritas eran tan seco y lleno de "ojos". El pescado estaba muy gruesas, sabroso agradable pero parecía casi con mucha carne de textura. El pollo estaba tan seco y demasiado cocido. Es para evitarlo.

Service was poor too many people 4 serving one Customer when they had a line of people to serve. Curry sause small and chips dry go a little further to seashell better service better food.

decent fish and chips. Battered cod could have been tastier but amount of chips in a large portion was amazing. Nice touch with gurkin or pickled onion. Full bellies for two for 10 pound is not bad at all!
