Ordered food from here, cod came over cooked and dry, chips cold and dry like they had been sat there for hours! Cod roe… picture speaks for itself!

First time I bought from here it was satisfactory, however, tonight's was extremely disappointing. The batter was enormous but the cod was tiny by comparison for both portions. Initially asked for gluten free regular cod & a normal large cod but however many times I repeated myself both staff didn't have a clue. I said it states on the website that it's available but was told it's the manager who does the website.

It was very yummy, there was a lovely young man behind the counter named Stanley. He was very polite and service was very fast. He deserves a promotion and pay rise. The old lady was bare cute as well Uno. Ethan has not been there so don't read his review. Many thanks Ben the my chippy customer

First time going here today since moving to the area. New favourite chippy. The prices are amazing for what you get. Food is tasty too. The young girl that served me was so friendly and provided excellent customer service. 10/10 would recommend

Staff are OK, the chips were OK, fish was fresh but was a bit too greasy for my liking apart from that fish was OK. Nothing special in my opinion. Maybe just a bad day for them

Hi work 5 mins from this restaurant and order 1/2 times a weeks and often a group order for my team. Today I needed to place an order for myself so went onto uber eats rather than going in. Something I wanted wasn't on the menu so I called up to check if I could order something else in its place. The lady was quite rude but said there was a language barrier so to come in and she would sort it. I then inconveniently drove to the shop and was greeted by such arrogance, the lady has no regard for customer service. The food is good, but honestly she was so rude she said 'I don't care that you come here all the time' and with then waved me good bye. Someone else should man the store. 2 stars given as the food is always good

Would not order from here again the chips were all ends no actual chips, the pies were microwaved to heat up, onion rings were burnt to a crisp sausage in batter had seen better days looked like it had been there all day, I didn't think you could muck up pie and chips but how wrong I was

Best Fish and Chips I’ve had in ages. Just finished eating and I don’t say this lightly...this is THE best fish and chips in Enfield...no...in North London. This is a CHIP SHOP... not a kebab shop that also does F&C...it’s LEGIT! Highly Recommend...!

I came into the shop to order some fish and chips, however the lady working was not very helpful and just told me to look at the menu whilst she on her phone. However apart from that the food was excellent and I will come here again, excited to try the next door shop too!

Fancied fish & chips for the first time since lockdown and wasn’t disappointed. Quality cod with perfect batter, chips were freshly cooked and delicious. Highly recommended.

Fish is always fresh and chips super tasty

Chips overcooked, fish had zero flavour. Scampi was burnt and the only items that I liked were the salt and pepper squid and salad that it came with. I feel like I cheated on my local chippy. I’m not ordering from here again. I thought it would be amazing as it got all those awards but it was terrible.

Called the restaurant to add something to order and was told I have to go in to pick up the order for the curry sauce I forgot add in, I called 5 minutes after making the order. The woman didn’t understand English very well and just hung up because she couldn’t understand what I was saying and couldn't help me as a customer

Portions generous, quality fluctuating

The chips here are awesome I get them weekly and share 1 set with my 2 boys. However, sometimes the quality of staff affects the experience. I walked in 1 day with smoke in the place and cleaning cloths everywhere. Every other day the place has been spotless. Then need to quality check the staff that work there it had won awards but these quickly become out of date.

Always go here, it's still my number 1 chip shop no matter where I have been, ventured to other areas with friends that claimed that their shop was the best. . Nope, they all soon changed their minds too!!

I ordered a fish and chips in store tonight. The fish was cooked fresh but chips color was more brownish and definitely didn’t looked like freshly cooked and taste really old and dry inside. I then ordered another portion for my housemate online, warning him about the chips. When I collected in store I mentioned my chips seemed old and refried one time too many. He commented these were fresher but turned out still mixed with old chips. I don’t know what savings the owners are hoping to make but if you can’t even offer fresh chips then you can call yourself a fish a chips. No wonder the shop was empty twice when I popped in tonight. Such a pity as we would use it more often if it was done properly like in the beginning.

Chips were fine. Scampi nice n crispy. Felt odd being one of the six customers to visit the shop that evening. Maybe things will pick up, but i doubt it since I'm no longer.on the fryer.

Bien pour un fish n chips. Mais bon , c'est gras pour un méditerranéen. De plus le largest est très copieux. Difficile à finir à moins que mon est un gros appétit.

Just tried this chippy and was very impressed, the chips were delicious, the staff very friendly and helpful and the new bueno milkshake and as just to die for.... Highly recommended

came here on the weekend after was recommended the milkshake and fish meal by a friend and didnt disappoint, nice flaky cod and crunchy chips, the milkshake was something i had never heard of before in a chippy and therefore was gladly suprised by the taste, one bit of advice i would give them is to include more meal options as i found it difficult to work out costings for my entire order, other than that guys great chippy overall

I have visited all fish and chips shops in Enfield. I can confirm that the portion of cod and chips I received is the best quality through uber eats online. Go and test it for yourself. My only regret is they should open up early on Wednesday From Costin main Toyota dealership.

Friendly, efficient and helpful staff. The best Rock & Chips I've had for ages! Home made tartar sauce and curry sauce. The fish was cooked from fresh as I waited and the chips were really crispy with no black bits!

Terrible customer service from the employees (vanessa) No idea in customer relations and has no manners. The manager was very apologetic and helpful.

Took four people over 25 mins to cook a pancake roll. They just blamed each other and new staff. If I wasn't asked again if I wanted salt and vinegar on the chips boxed 20 mins ago, I probably wouldn't have been offered fresh chips. First time here, also my last .

As a treat decided to have battered haddock and chips. Was very impressed, especially with the Tartar Saurce. Chips have a very unique but very delicious flavour. Not a fan of cod but they also cook a good battered Haddock. Out of all the fish and chip shops round Enfield I'll def be coming back for more. Paul

Food was good once it finally came, although pretty pricey for an average portion. Counter staff let it down though, chaotic ordering, with it being clear no one knows what is going on, and the tension/confusion between them was apparent. Had to wait ages, not impressed. Fish and chips without salt and vinegar yet again. They have a massive problem reading the orders and don’t put salt and vinegar on. Every order asked for this and then get attitude when I call and it’s not been done. Good food terrible customer care and service.

I have my order sitting in front of me yet to be eaten. This review is about their advertisement and their customer service. I ordered several items from them via the Uber eats app. They charged me and delivered all the items apart from one. I called them and made them aware. The guy didn't seem to care and said we have ran out of the item. I asked why it is still advertised and was it deducted from our bill as it seems to be charged on the receipt. The guy again didn't seem to care and said I should take it up with Uber eats. Pathetic service... not even an apology. Will not order again from these people no matter how their food tastes.

Ordered Fish n chips via Uber Eats at 1:40 this afternoon. The delivery dude came here on a bicycle. Surprise surprise. It was cold and late. The Cod was terrible. I've had better in Iceland. The gravy was rubbish. Tasteless. I also wrote a note to that i would like Onion vinegar not malt Vinegar. What did I get? Malt Vinegar... I called when they were running into very late time zone. No one answered. Bad experience. I gave it all to my dog. Not enjoyable. Refund needed or some sort of gesture of good will. Happy to call you again to discuss the bad food and service.

Stay in a local hotel two nights a week and generally visit here for Cod and small chips on one of the nights. Food never a let down and always tasty and very reasonable. Only problem recently is the staff, he likes to sing which is okay but generally takes his time to engage, even to the point of ignoring you, in an empty shop. Not the first time. Also, his language is not suitable for a local chipper. Have put up with this for a few weeks now , but had to walk out this evening been left there with no engagement and ignored yet again, I have had enough...pity as best cod and chips around. I put it down to his young age and in need of customer service training.

Mr Chippy Enfield... No acknowledgment from the lady cooking or the young man, with glasses, who was stomping around in what looked to be a mood, while processing his delivery order's. Don't know what the food is like as I ended up leaving after waiting too long. I would have stayed if there was some form of customer service. Very disappointed

Having spoken about this place before, with very positive reviews, my latest visit was most disappointing! Dark coloured chips instead of crispy and golden. The cod was over battered and thin, did not contain nice large white pieces of cod but but small greying flakes, a sign of not being fully fresh. I did not recoginise any of the staff and hearing swearing from them was not impressive. The price was still reasonable but the quantity and quality are not what they were. I will think twice before I return.

I have been going to this fish & chips shop for years and when they first opened as mychippy, it was great. The fish was a nice size, the people were friendly and I bought fish & chips from there every week. But recently, whenever I have ordered large fish and chips, the size of the large fish is more of a small fish. They started off wrapping the fish and chips and now they put it in a box and it’s even smaller. It is definitely not worth the money to buy a large fish from them because that large fish anywhere else is a small fish. I was happy buying fish & chips from them at first because it was a good deal and their large fish was large but now I don’t bother buying from them anymore, I go to another fish and chips shop. When I last went in there and ordered large fish and chips and saw the size of the fish he was about to give me, I said to him “I ordered a large fish not a small” he said “this is a large fish, we go by the weight” before, the fish would have to be the size of the box and now they don’t seem to give a damm. It was like looking at a kids meal that I had bought rather than a large fish. When I told the skinny teenager that I didn’t want that and that if that’s what he classes as large, I would rather have 2small fishes, he said with an attitude “we’ve already cooked it now” . I don’t care, I’m not paying for a miniature fish when I ordered a large one. It looks like they started off well in order to entice the customers and as soon as they got a customer base, they decided to cut costs by skimping on the fish and they have gone down hill ever since. I will never order a fish from them again until they go back to the way they originally started off. I have posted a picture of fish and chips I bought from the exact same company but this one is in Southgate and the one in main avenue, bush hill park is usually always half the size of this.

Good food value for money clean shop friendly staff

I was served a lovely piece of meaty cod coated in a crispy batter with freshly fried chips. The shop is clean and modern with friendly staff. You couldn’t ask for more in a local chippy!

This was a first time we have used MyChippy and will definitely come back in the future. The fish was fresh and tasty, chips crunchy. Excellent customer service and food is delicious plus they do kids portions so no food gets wasted. Highly recommended.

On the first occasion, the chips arrived crispy and at other times they were soggy. Customer service& experience was positive. Prices were a little steep for the small portion size.

Visited about 12:45 on a Wednesday afternoon. Politely greeted and chose which fish I wanted before it was freshly battered and fried. Thin batter, not greasy at all. Fish was fresh and soft. Chips were large, full of potato, and not soggy. Very impressed and will definitely visit again. * Tip: I'm a severe peanut allergy sufferer and had no issues with the ingredients used.

Chippys who cook their fish fresh to order nearly always produce a better meal, and this place definitely did. They produced freshly cooked fish with a light batter and chips that were crisp and not soggy. Curry sauce was yummy and I would happily eat their food again. My only disappointment was that they were quite haphazard with the ordering and processing of orders. We had to wait longer and the staff member who took our order got it all confused. For somewhere that clearly prides itself on the quality of its food it's a shame that some staff let it down..

this isnt a traditional chip shop, cod is small compared to propper fish shops. chips are good. one thing that needs to be mentioned is how clean the shop is and gave it an extra star for that.

Loyal customer that ordered very regularly. Burger arrived without lettuce and burger sauce as advertised and large portion of chips arrived smaller than a small. Called the shop to ask for more chips to be sent out to top up what we had received did not even complain about the burger at first. Was told that if I want a refund I needed to go through Uber eats, all I wanted was more chips! Totally useless! Told me they can’t send more chips! What’s that about!! And just kept fobbing me off to Uber eats. Lost a loyal customer will never order again! Very poor customer service!

The best chip shop in Enfield. Portions are good and food is reasonably priced, the fish is skinned before frying and all fish and chips are cooked to order. Would give five stars but my chips always seem to be a bit too soggy.

Las tartas siempre están calientes y sabes que será la calidad porque estan Pukka. El savaloys son los suaves, no demasiado amables picante en lugar del tipo desollado dura. Por último, pero no menos importante, las patatas fritas. Una palabra: INCREÍBLE! Son adecuadas las patatas fritas "fish and chips". Llena de sabor y patata - y conseguir una porción de tamaño decente con casi ningún 'bits'. En general recomiendo mychippy. com y si probar este "fish and chips", ¡no te arrepentirás!

If its your first time ordering from this store, try out the COD as it is highly much recommended in terms of taste and crispy-ness + i least recommend to try out ROCK fish, it just doesn't taste good.

Yo estaba de visita en mi ciudad natal de Australia y estaba deseando una roca bien y patatas fritas (puedo conseguir rock en Perth). Utilizada para siempre a Jorge de la calle Carretera pero decidimos marcas ir aquí, ya que las críticas eran excelentes.

Bush Hill Park is not short of take-aways and I wondered whether this place would survive, it has and deservedly so. The place is clean, the staff are polite and friendly, and most importantly the food is fab. Always fresh and hot, and you get a few chips to eat while you wait! Well done guys.

This has to be the best Haddock and chips I have had locally. Great chips. My wife enjoyed her cod and chips and my son his chicken and chips. It is worth the wait as food is cooked to order. Phone ahead if you have a large order. I will certainly use this place again. It is worth the extra walk for good food. Thoroughly recommended.

They have an online ordering service now so thought I would give it a try. Large Cod £6 and chip cone £1, went to pay and there is a 50p debit card charge, but no other way to pay. Still for £7.50 for large cod and chips still great value. Was ready for me when I went to collect. The portion size of the Cod was very generous, and the chip cone was more than enough for one. All beautifully cooked and the cod fresh and white. Keep going back and am never disappointed

In the numerous times I have been here I have never had a bad meal. Their fish (particularly the haddock) is cooked beautifully and the chips are consistently tasty and crispy. So many fish and chip shops are hit and miss with their quality but mychippy.com is always consistent in their high standards. Friendly and helpful staff as well as amazing value for money.I realise of course that they don't have room for it, but I would love them to have a restaurant. The food is definitely worthy of it and it would be lovely to be able to go out with friends and family for fish and chips that you know will be lovely.
