Ordered food from here, cod came over cooked and dry, chips cold and dry like they had been sat there for hours! Cod roe… picture speaks for itself!

First time I bought from here it was satisfactory, however, tonight's was extremely disappointing. The batter was enormous but the cod was tiny by comparison for both portions. Initially asked for gluten free regular cod & a normal large cod but however many times I repeated myself both staff didn't have a clue. I said it states on the website that it's available but was told it's the manager who does the website.

Hi work 5 mins from this restaurant and order 1/2 times a weeks and often a group order for my team. Today I needed to place an order for myself so went onto uber eats rather than going in. Something I wanted wasn't on the menu so I called up to check if I could order something else in its place. The lady was quite rude but said there was a language barrier so to come in and she would sort it. I then inconveniently drove to the shop and was greeted by such arrogance, the lady has no regard for customer service. The food is good, but honestly she was so rude she said 'I don't care that you come here all the time' and with then waved me good bye. Someone else should man the store. 2 stars given as the food is always good

Fancied fish & chips for the first time since lockdown and wasn’t disappointed. Quality cod with perfect batter, chips were freshly cooked and delicious. Highly recommended.

Chips overcooked, fish had zero flavour. Scampi was burnt and the only items that I liked were the salt and pepper squid and salad that it came with. I feel like I cheated on my local chippy. I’m not ordering from here again. I thought it would be amazing as it got all those awards but it was terrible.

A gods send to Bush Hill Park. Can not fault it one bit. Amazing customer service always having a positive vibe.

Chips were fine. Scampi nice n crispy. Felt odd being one of the six customers to visit the shop that evening. Maybe things will pick up, but i doubt it since I'm no longer.on the fryer.

Friendly, efficient and helpful staff. The best Rock & Chips I've had for ages! Home made tartar sauce and curry sauce. The fish was cooked from fresh as I waited and the chips were really crispy with no black bits!

Terrible customer service from the employees (vanessa) No idea in customer relations and has no manners. The manager was very apologetic and helpful.

Absolutely disgusting my chicken and mushroom pie was horrendous, Rock hard and not fresh. Would not recommend.

Ordered scampi and chips and both were very nice. You could tell the oil used to fry them were fresh and staff were friendly.

As a treat decided to have battered haddock and chips. Was very impressed, especially with the Tartar Saurce. Chips have a very unique but very delicious flavour. Not a fan of cod but they also cook a good battered Haddock. Out of all the fish and chip shops round Enfield I'll def be coming back for more. Paul

Food was good once it finally came, although pretty pricey for an average portion. Counter staff let it down though, chaotic ordering, with it being clear no one knows what is going on, and the tension/confusion between them was apparent. Had to wait ages, not impressed. They clearly can't cope with all the deliveroo and Uber orders,

Stay in a local hotel two nights a week and generally visit here for Cod and small chips on one of the nights. Food never a let down and always tasty and very reasonable. Only problem recently is the staff, he likes to sing which is okay but generally takes his time to engage, even to the point of ignoring you, in an empty shop. Not the first time. Also, his language is not suitable for a local chipper. Have put up with this for a few weeks now , but had to walk out this evening been left there with no engagement and ignored yet again, I have had enough...pity as best cod and chips around. I put it down to his young age and in need of customer service training.

Having spoken about this place before, with very positive reviews, my latest visit was most disappointing! Dark coloured chips instead of crispy and golden. The cod was over battered and thin, did not contain nice large white pieces of cod but but small greying flakes, a sign of not being fully fresh. I did not recoginise any of the staff and hearing swearing from them was not impressive. The price was still reasonable but the quantity and quality are not what they were. I will think twice before I return.

I was served a lovely piece of meaty cod coated in a crispy batter with freshly fried chips. The shop is clean and modern with friendly staff. You couldn’t ask for more in a local chippy!

This was a first time we have used MyChippy and will definitely come back in the future. The fish was fresh and tasty, chips crunchy. Excellent customer service and food is delicious plus they do kids portions so no food gets wasted. Highly recommended.

Chippys who cook their fish fresh to order nearly always produce a better meal, and this place definitely did. They produced freshly cooked fish with a light batter and chips that were crisp and not soggy. Curry sauce was yummy and I would happily eat their food again. My only disappointment was that they were quite haphazard with the ordering and processing of orders. We had to wait longer and the staff member who took our order got it all confused. For somewhere that clearly prides itself on the quality of its food it's a shame that some staff let it down..

Loyal customer that ordered very regularly. Burger arrived without lettuce and burger sauce as advertised and large portion of chips arrived smaller than a small. Called the shop to ask for more chips to be sent out to top up what we had received did not even complain about the burger at first. Was told that if I want a refund I needed to go through Uber eats, all I wanted was more chips! Totally useless! Told me they can’t send more chips! What’s that about!! And just kept fobbing me off to Uber eats. Lost a loyal customer will never order again! Very poor customer service!

Bush Hill Park is not short of take-aways and I wondered whether this place would survive, it has and deservedly so. The place is clean, the staff are polite and friendly, and most importantly the food is fab. Always fresh and hot, and you get a few chips to eat while you wait! Well done guys.

This has to be the best Haddock and chips I have had locally. Great chips. My wife enjoyed her cod and chips and my son his chicken and chips. It is worth the wait as food is cooked to order. Phone ahead if you have a large order. I will certainly use this place again. It is worth the extra walk for good food. Thoroughly recommended.

They have an online ordering service now so thought I would give it a try. Large Cod £6 and chip cone £1, went to pay and there is a 50p debit card charge, but no other way to pay. Still for £7.50 for large cod and chips still great value. Was ready for me when I went to collect. The portion size of the Cod was very generous, and the chip cone was more than enough for one. All beautifully cooked and the cod fresh and white. Keep going back and am never disappointed

In the numerous times I have been here I have never had a bad meal. Their fish (particularly the haddock) is cooked beautifully and the chips are consistently tasty and crispy. So many fish and chip shops are hit and miss with their quality but mychippy.com is always consistent in their high standards. Friendly and helpful staff as well as amazing value for money.I realise of course that they don't have room for it, but I would love them to have a restaurant. The food is definitely worthy of it and it would be lovely to be able to go out with friends and family for fish and chips that you know will be lovely.

We love going to Mr Chippy. Fresh cooked food whilst you wait. Much better than food cooked and kept hot. Does mean a little wait but so worth it.

I visited MyChippy.com and was instantly greeted by friendly staff. The head chef himself is from Whitby, the home of Fish & Chips and conveyed his passion and enthusiasm for the industry in his stellar dishes.The fish was deep fried in batter in such a unique way, where, each bite I took left no gaps in between the batter and meat. The chips were bound perfectly. Each crunch didn't cause the chips to break apart, instead they held their consistency and texture together.I will definitely be returning to this place soon and will forward it to all my friends!

When I entered the shop I got treated in a very friendly manner by the staff which made my first impression a good one. You can really tell how fresh the food is from the taste and the look. I love the option of peri peri salt as I haven't come across in a fish and chip shop. The chips were amazing, soft in the middle and slightly crunchy on the outside. I also read that mychippy is in the top 10 in the UK which drew me even more to try the chips. Great value, great taste and great service! Definitely going to order from here!

This is a lovely addition to the neighbourhood. The food was cooked to order and really fresh. The fish was cooked really well and the batter was crispy and light. I enjoyed all the extra sauces which were tasty. Staff are friendly and chatty. Was impressed with the overall look and feel of the place and it was spotless. Highly recommend.

Fish and chips were just out of this world. This chippy is bringing a new dimension to fish and chips. The value is just great. Highly recommended

The haddock was moist with chunky flakes. The batter was light, crispy and not oily. The chips were fluffy in texture with a great crunch. The Chef, who learnt his trade in Whitby, also served me and he was super friendly. I'd heard good things about MyChippy from friends and I was seriously impressed.

I'm all about the chips and the quality was outstanding. Fish was perfectly cooked. Chef had a smile on his face and was friendly. Will certainly be going back.

Visited the store late one evening just before closing. I was greeted with a pleasant service and my order was accommodated with a smile even though it was 10 mins before closing.The excellent quality of the fish and chips evokes memories of my visits up north. Quality food with great customer service. Don't forget to ask for your scraps!

I don't know if anybody knows where Penzance is, let alone the place that was Jewels chip shop in New Street in the lane opposite the Star Inn.Nowadays it and has been for sometime, a bistro.. I was for all my youth, my greatest place, my feeding place for my family were working and they could not give me my midday meal. I never questioned this because I knew that my mum and dad were doing their best. The fact that for some years I walked from my school to Jewels and took fish and chips (1 and nine pence) everyday for lunch for every term did not worry me, it was the way it was. I miss that Chippy as I remember every person and what they did. I wish to record this now. Jewels Fish and Chips, New Street, Penzance. I wish I could bring it back for the youngsters of today.

I've been meaning to review this chip shop for a while. I'm quite a regular visitor and I have to say I haven't tasted chips like this for absolutely ages. Such good portion size and great value for money. Always a friendly face to serve you and Stelios is a really friendly chef. The owners are also always friendly, would recommend this chip shop to anyone and I would love to see it rewarded with a queue out the door and up the road just like the old days for this place (expect when I want some of course).

Been going here for a few months now and even though we live about a 15 minute drive away and pass many chippy's on route, this is the only one we go to! Veru clean place. Good portions, well done, nice chips, friendly staff. Good price and value. Only take-out so should use extra space for 2-3 tables for guests at least with minium order. Check them out.

Been going to Mychippy.com since October 2015 and can't fault their food. Everytime I've got my food from there it's always been at its best and delicious. You get good sized portions and really good customer service. So if you want fresh, quality and good tasting food then Mychippy.com is the place to go.

I have been to Mychipper.com a few times now and I must say there's no other Fish and Chip Shop like it. The Fish is absolutely Delicious, and the Chips are too, it's just an all rounder, with the Customer Service being Outstanding too. I would defiantly recommend this Fish and Chip shop to anyone and Everyone.

Since this chippy has opened, I visit every fortnight at least X Never disappointed always very tasty and worth the wait id visit. I don't eat fish, but I've bought fish for others and they have really enjoyed it.

worst experience ever after waiting 20 mins, was told few more mins for more chips so i said, just give me one portion with my fish, the man threw money at me and said take your money back, i was so shocked didnt know what to say, i have never been spoken to like this before. also the girl serving has her hair down waving around the food, very unhygienic. This is my local fish and chip shop and I am so lucky it is. I have had take away cod and chips from here around 10 times and I have always been extremely happy with the quality and taste. My most recent visit was Saturday evening and decided to go for the small cod and chips (normally have the large and share it). It was plenty big enough and would even do for 2 small appetites. The cod was fresh, pure white flakes, lovely light crispy batter. Price, an amazing £5.50. The staff are extremely polite and helpful and I would not hesitate in recommending this chippy to everyone.

As a result of previous reviews I visited tonight. I asked for a large cod & chips. I was shown a very generous piece of fish, asked if it was ok which of course it was. It was then floured, battered and cooked while I waited. A large portion of chips was added and all for £7.30. The fish and chips were cooked to perfection and tasted fabulous. This is now the only venue I will visit for take away fish and chips locally. Well done Mr Chippy!

As a big fan of Britain's original national dish, having sampled many fish and chip meals across the country, I rate these fish and chips as one of the best (indeed I would go as far to say - the best I've had in the last 10 years). They remind me of how fish and chips used to taste when I was a child - full of flavour and very fresh. The portion sizes are very generous and worth the cost (the fish are the biggest I've ever seen). The chef holds up the fish to highlight just what a catch these fish are - the fishermen/women must have had the largest nets known to humankind!A note to the chef: please continue what you are doing - maintain the freshness and your choice of cooking methods and choice of cooking oil/fat and you'll be around for many years! The only negative is that parking is quite difficult around the area (not many spaces and quite a few shops) and that may hamper the real progress and potential of this wonderful fish and chip establishment.

Stopped for fish and chips after shopping and by far the best buy of the day! The shop looks classy and quite upmarket. The chef and owners were really friendly. The batter was beautifully crispy but light, almost like tempura. Fish was lovely and moist. The small size was huge!! The chips had a perfect bite. The best fish and chips I've had!Quite a few miles from our house but will now be my first choice for fish and chips.

Ended in Enfield recently at this fish a chips. I know it's basic, but it's worth a detour if not the trip. Chose on top of the fish some sausages that kids loved. Approved !Ps: didn't such big fish as described before.

The shop is new modern and lovely decorated, the staff are lovely, our fish was going to take 5/10 mins so they give us some free chips while we waited.. So nice! The fish are HUGE biggest fish ive ever had... And gorgeous too I will definitely be returning here, very happy and I never normally write reviews x

After reading the great reviews I decided have a takeaway cod and chips here. So glad I did as this is the best fish takeaway I have had in Enfield. Ordered 2 cod and one small chips and the bill came to £12.80. The fish was cooked to order and because there was a small wait they gave my son a little bag of complimentary chips to munch on, which I thought was a really nice touch. The fish was wrapped separately from the chips to keep it nice and crispy. When unwrapped at home we discovered 2 enormous pieces of crisply battered white cod and a massive bag of chips. The cod was absolutely delicious. Fantastic food, service and value.

Simply the best fish and chip shop in North London. Fresh food made to order.. and the staff are really nice and friendly. Defiantly my favourite take away in the Enfield area.

Came here on a Saturday night for a take out as had noticed the new business had opened and thought we'd give a local business a try- We were not disappointed at all. Large Cod was huge and cooked freshly infront of me when I ordered and while I waited, which I feel is fantastic as utterly fresh and hot and super delicious crispy batter. Chips were also delicious and ordered a small but the portion was big enough for three people.Staff were very nice and super friendly.So I'd highly recommend this newly opened fish and chip shop. Try it, you won't be disappointed in the quality and taste of the food and absolutely without a doubt it is great value for money.

This has to be the best fish & chip shop in Enfield. What makes it great is the food is made to order and not left in the hot plate to get soggy. The batter on the fish is amazing. I walked home which took 7mins and it was still crispy. The chips are light and fluffy and the portions are great value for money. The 1st time I had a large cod. It could have fed two ppl. Even the smaller cod is huge. The shop is clean and the chef showed us the kitchen which was spotless always a good sign. The staff are very friendly too which is nice. This is my number one place to go for good quality food. You won't be disappointed

This take out is very modern and clean. The look invites us to go in and order. We got a friendly service.We ordered the cod, which was almost fried to perfection as the thin layer crust sticks to the fish. You can see from the colour that the cooking oil was new.They also suggested us to try the fried shrimps, and again they were delicious.Definitely a place to go back!

The cod which was really succulent and the batter was light, crispy and tasty. The quality is much better than a lot of other well known fish n chip shops I have been to in town including expensive restaurants.The chips were fresh and golden. This place is great value for money, the portions are generous and I will definitely be back again soon.

Now that's what I call fish and chips. Super fresh fish, and batter was light and crispy. You can tell that the fish is quality with clear flakes as you cut. Chios were done to perfection, hard on the outside and soft inside. Definitely going again !

This is honestly the best fish and chips I have had in a long time! The fish was cooked perfectly with tasty batter that had just the right balance of crunch. The chips were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - just how they should be! I only had to wait for 5 minutes and the service I got was outstanding. I really recommend this fish and chip shop as the food quality is exquisite with generous portions for great prices!

Being l and a bit of a fan of Fish & Chips I noticed there’s a new shop open in Main Ave Bush Hill Park! I was intrigued by the clean look, the big lit chip fork sign and the LED screens and lights. It’s obviously just opened and so not fully developed its menu as a quick chat with the chef Steve told me, and also they were concentrating for now on the best fish & chips they could produce. I ate mine in the shop as it was he said always freshly cooked and served with pride, as the Chef wanted feedback on the quality and taste. The fish was fantastically fresh and the batter thin and crispy and devoid of any oily residue so you could eat it like a sandwich, no folding or breaking and the chips were traditional fish shop ones, again perfectly cooked and grease free. What’s more when I’d finished the tray was almost spotless of excess oil and I felt I’d eaten something healthy and not the usual soggy battered servings from others I’d been and not returned to. Try it! Five stars “My Chippy” excellent!
