Largest and thickest piece of Cod I've ever had, great starters and a lovely atmosphere to eat in. Met the owner.... A woman with a zest for success and very entrepreneurial, extremely friendly staff, spotless restaurant ant! Highly recommend a visit!!!

Hemos disfrutado el pescado y patatas fritas de Poseidón cada vez que pasar tiempo en Londres, casi la mitad del año. El pescado se ofreció para llevar es bacalao o eglefino, y ambos son excelentes, aunque confieso una preferencia por el abadejo. El pescado fresco y la pasta gustos es fresco y crujiente. Las patatas fritas son también no se daba, hechas de real patatas y aparentemente cortados a mano, muy excelentes para probar. guisantes de blanda y varios otros extras disponibles. Crecí en pescado y patatas fritas en Toronto, que tenía una gran comunidad escocés expatriados. Mi abuela, nacido en Minsk, había aprendido a amar tanto pescado y patatas fritas y finnan Haddie durante el año pasado en Londres por su camino a Canadá, y felizmente alimentados con ellos a ella nietos como un ocasional delicia. Por lo que sé de pescado y patatas fritas! que me sorprende que los papeles que imprimir las listas de la "mejor" fish and chips tiendas en el Reino Unido nunca mencionan este. A local fish and chip takeaway is almost a thing of the past. The food was ok, the battery was a little on the side the chips should be golden brown. However, tasted great and decently priced.

110 - 112 Chase SideGood food, friendly staff. Not many seafood restaurants in the area, this was a good shout. Wouldn't be a regular visit, but nice to eat here every so often. Prawns were chewy and overcooked, not a deal breaker. 4 stars.

8 Cockfosters ParadeIf I could give zero stars I would! I recently ordered two portions of fish and chips from Chippers, a place I’ve returned to many times, but this visit was a disaster. The fish was clearly not fresh – mushy, grey, falling apart, and completely tasteless. The smell alone was unbearable, filling my car with such a strong stench of fish that it clung to the seats and lingered long after I threw the food away. It was truly awful. When I called the owner to share my disappointment, hoping for at least a basic apology, I was met with nothing but a dismissive and argumentative attitude. No effort to understand my concern, no hint of accountability – just a complete lack of customer care. I’ve praised this place in the past when the food was good, but after this experience, I won’t be going back. Consistency is key, and it’s clear that Chippers has lost theirs. With this kind of attitude, avoid, avoid, avoid!!!
