What a lovely restaurant to come to to enjoy the freshest fish just meters away from the actual sea. The atmosphere is really relaxed despite the refined menu, and all the staff are clued up and on the ball. They are also really good looking. We had…. Kimchi steak tartare tartlet, monkfish with spicy mango sorbet and chickpeas, gorgeous mussels in a creamy herby soup, prawns, and of course , oysters in a few different styles. Highlights were the monkfish, and the rhubarb oysters. The drinks selection is great- I am sober and didn’t feel like I was missing out at all as the bartender was happy to make a 0% cocktail for me. It was a grey day when i came here and I still had a lovely time, I can’t wait to come back when it’s sunny.

Decided to visit here yesterday with my parents for lunch. I ordered the prawn and crab meat sandwich which was half filled on every piece. At £17.95 this was extremely poor. I never mind spending money on food but when it’s good. The chips were also half full and tasted of old oil. A total bill of £70 for 2 sandwiches, 2 cokes and a small plate.

Terry's Fish Bar – Bank Holiday Visit (5th May) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (8/10) My wife and I visited Terry's Fish Bar today, Bank Holiday Monday (5th May), around 12:30pm. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and told there would be around a 20 minute wait for a table. We were shown to a small seating area, and ended up being seated in just 10 minutes. Our table was clean and comfortable, and we were given time to look over the menu. After about 10 minutes, our order was taken: we both chose the Regular Cod and Chips, added mushy peas, and a Yorkshire tea each. The food came out quickly, within 15 minutes and was beautifully presented. The cod was coated in a thin, crispy batter and tasted fantastic. The chips were exactly what you'd want from a proper chip shop , As for the mushy peas, they were a bit too smooth for my taste, but my wife enjoyed hers so a matter of preference. The tea came in teapots with extra water, which we appreciated. It was hot, flavourful, and rounded off the meal nicely. The only small downside was the pace , our plates were taken away just as we’d put our cutlery down, which made us feel a little rushed. That said, it was clearly a busy Bank Holiday, so it’s understandable. Overall, a very positive experience solid 8/10 from us. Friendly staff, great food, and we'd definitely recommend a visit. I took my mother there for her very first fish and chips in UK. And it was delicious. She was well happy with food and desserts we had in your restaurant. Staff was very friendly too. The only thing we had to leave untouched is black coffee, probably coffee machine needs , as coffee was a bit coloured water with no coffee scent.
