The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

Food terrible worse pukka pie ever overcooked, chips stale (scabby) and the southern fried chicken overcooked coating hard and chewy. The only positive is the potato scallops which were edible. Will not be returning such a shame as this place used to be ok.

The food itself tastes good, but considering it’s £4.30 for a large chips, compared to other chip shops the portion isn’t very much.

Really a beautiful experience in every way. The views are incredible, food is amazing, but the staff make it exceptional. We had a few booking issues so they were kind enough to squeeze us into Ogo instead of the Wild Cafe which is their fine dining restaurant. Just genuine, nice, kind people make all the difference to a dining experience. Really knowledgeable staff in the bar making the cocktails, and a Restaurant Manager who truly cares about the customer experience. As a chef I feel I must defend the food here after reading other reviews below. This restaurant is fine dining, that means the portions are exquisite, intensely flavoured dishes, using local produce, artisan producers and created by skilled chefs. It is intended for it to be an experience of culinary talent and flavour. Each dish is meant to be savoured and experienced fully. The different levels of flavour in the dishes we experienced were excellent. And I have been fortunate enough to visit many Michelin Star Restaurants in the UK and Europe. If you wish to 'gobble up' large portions of carbs/steak and seafood may I suggest you eat instead at the Wild Cafe upstairs instead, which is also excellent. If your pallette is not refined enough to appreciate high quality local Cornish ingredients which are exceptionally prepared then accept you would be better dining elsewhere. Its really not fair to criticise the food or the portion sizes. Its like going to the Ballet and expecting a game of Rugby. To anyone wishing to enjoy a wonderful dining experience, great views and lovely staff, then I would recommend visiting Ogo. I would love to come back soon.

Ordered food online, took my money. Time for delivery came and went. I went to the takeaway......closed. checked bank statements, money gone. Mmmmmm, great chippy if you want to loose weight, you dont get the food but you certainly pay for it.

Visité este lugar para la hora del té el viernes 29 de junio a través de mi esposo, cuando abrí las papas fritas que estaban muy grasientas y quemadas, las saqué más de lo que tenían. Los devolví y tomé las fichas directamente. Pregunté quién era el gerente que se presentó, le pregunté después de abrirlos, ¿pensó que estaban en el abeto para el consumo humano, su respuesta fue que son las patatas? ? ? ? ? Perdón por los disculpas de los últimos años, no estaba comprando eso otra vez. así que le pedí que me devolviera mi dinero. Cudió, incluso se disculpó, patético hombrecillo, tampoco le envié al gerente un correo electrónico con esta persona. Creo que la salud ambiental debería echar un vistazo en este lugar, y ella lo que realmente sucede. Estas fichas parecían haber sido pateadas alrededor de la cocina trasera calentada desde la noche anterior.

Amazing food, great service. Restaurant gets very busy at lunchtime, but was pleasantly buzzy in the evening. Try the Ceviche if it's on the specials board !

Amazing sea food with a great combination of flavours. Everything was cooked perfectly and we loved the truffle slaw. Monkfish was delicious. Love that it’s dog friendly too. Was looking forward to the marmalade pudding after seeing some reviews, but it was just a normal steamed pudding really, but still tasty.

Honestly one of the best nights I’ve had in central London. The sushi was next level. The staff were super friendly, and the whole place has a luxe but not too stuffy feel. Great energy, great food, great crowd. Will 100% be back.

Outstanding service! I have always ordered my fish and chips from Ocean Fresh, the food is always delicious and delivered well. The owner/ manager is fantastic and always delivers great service.

Excellent front of house and chefs offer a good dining experience at reasonable prices . We both had scallops to start and different fish dishes as mains . Portions were small but beautifully cooked and presented . Would definitely recommend.

Another lovely lunch at Ricks, staff very attentive as always. We both had the steak which we have had a few times as it’s always good.

Delicious food!! Beautiful environment with tables of every size and comfort design, very large so provides many different gathering spaces for partying groups as well as small cozy rendezvous! Highly recommended!👍

Shockingly bad. Ordered a take out and the fish had several bones in it, donner meat was not fresh and had an odd smell and taste to it, chicken was solid and chewy, service was terrible. Cheeky baggers thought I was a just eat driver when I was a customer!! Over charged an additional fish and chips, good news was I was refunded however I would never go back there.
