Great staff. The food needs a bit of improvement. I usually go there for snacking. I recommend they focus more on food quality and keeping it healthy.

OK so I bought a donner burger meal for £5.60. Chips cold and flopping wet, Donner meat is cold, didn't eat as is disgusting. Was told that I'm only allowed Pepsi or Fanta for a drink when I don't like either. Shocking service, no smiles, dirty area for customers and dirty table that clearly wasn't cleaned. Definitely will never go in there ever again. Classics 10 minutes down the road sell nice food, £1.10 cheaper than this dirt.

Unfortunately won’t be back. Wanted to give this place another chance since been under new management. Food wasn’t great and the portions was below standard. The large mix meat and chips was the tiniest portion of any of the surrounding chip shops. I don’t think I have ever seen a tray so small EVER! Not value for money at all and the food wasn’t great. Salad on one side and the chips the other with little meat on the top. This is to fill out the already small space rather then how it normally goes on top of each other. Wouldn’t like to see how much you get on the regular tray. To top it off you don’t get a can of soda either. At £6.50.. feel robbed. Not worth the overall £12.60 spent. The second meal was same as above… extremely small portions. The atmosphere wasn’t great it’s super cold in the shop no radio or anything just super awkward silence. Edit: Response … If this isn’t making up lies I don’t know what is. We asked for what we asked for. When it came to drinks you said it only came with one meal.. which is what it is. Fair enough. We asked for a Zup with pleases and thank yous from the choice of 3 options. All other cans are extra charges. Unusual but no problem. There was absolutely no raised voices no demanding and absolutely no arguing. I accepted what you supplied with no questions asked. Payed and thanked you and went on our merry way. It wasn’t until we got home (with pictures uploaded) that we was extremely disappointed by what we saw. By the standard served, small portions and cost there left a whole lot to be desired. There was absolutely nothing of the sort of what you are suggesting took place regarding demands and arguing. We ordered thanked you, payed and left. To suggest otherwise with your lies speaks volumes of your character. I hope everyone sees this mockery of a response it’s almost laughable to resort to this fictional account if not a little crazy. You either have the wrong customer or you are living in a alternative reality which is a little scary. Take heed future customers. Drakes cross, Haunch lane, May lane and Pete’s pans are my recommendations to you all. Thank you

Excellent service and fresh food

Lovely staff with the best smiles ! The food is of great quality and taste. Very friendly atmosphere where you won’t be waiting ages. These guys n girls know what a customer needs. No issues with parking either. Thank you ! Will be back again and again for that cod ! God bless x

Whilst this is not the closest to where I live it definitely is worth the extra distance as it offers the most nicely cooked fish, chips & other items on their extensive menu anywhere in my area. Staff here are always friendly & happy to cook to order if you want things slightly different (like unbattered haddock-my favourite!) & I've not yet been disappointed. Give them a call to order so it's ready when you get there, or as I recall they can deliver, although I usually call in as I'm passing. See you next time guys.

Best fish and chips I have had in a very long time. My child who never finishes a meal ate all of theirs and asked for more. X

I had a chicken fillet burger meal with curry sauce. It was tasty and delicious.bueger was freshly made to order. There curry sauce is very nice best I've had. Highly recommend I be visiting again 🙂

Without doubt the worst food I have ever tried, mixed kebab was cold and had a disgusting after taste to it. Not sure which was worse the chicken or the Donner but I didn't eat more than a couple of pieces of each. Complete waste of money as all our food went straight in the bin. Use here at your own risk...

Went in lunchtime today..had small cod and asked for a scoop of chips which were under cooked and cold and the fish didn't exactly set high standards either..tepid not what I expected for £5.20 definitely won't be stopping again.....it wasn't the cost it was the quality of the food..I didn't want a cone of chips just a single scoop is what I requested and they were cold even though she wrapped them in several sheets of paper. The cod was supposed to be medium size according to the young lady serving. When I pay for hot food I expect to have it ....

Honestly a very bad experience they don’t speak English properly and they are very rude to customers

Was really looking forward to trying some Greek food from this place. We went for Greek gyros and what we received was dry poor quality chicken / pork all dried up. At 6.50 you would expect decent quality. Home made mousaka wasn’t fresh either really disappointed. We paid over £30 for 4 adults and two kids. Would not be going back there again.

We had the best fish and chips at this place. The service was very good. And the people very friendly five stars.

I visited this place with my husband. We all fancied something different and here fit the bill! Along with the traditional fish and chips there is the choice of freshly cooked greek food. We ordered a selection and to be honest, couldn't fault it. Food was fresh and tasty and hot. Portion sizes good and prices very reasonable.

Today was the second time using this chippy and the last. Last time they missed the chips on my kids meals and I had to ask for them to send some out as I was going to work, that was a struggle but they finally did and gave a free bottle of coke to say sorry. Awful. Used to be good. Scallops skinny and mainly hard batter 🤢. Ordered sausage and chips mini meal for £2.30 and was charged £2.80. When i asked why the lady said i gave u a cone of chips as you done get many on the mini meal. I replied...that's why i ordered it. I appreciate being given something by someone as a nice thing to do but not if you charge me extra without asking. The sausage was awful too. Dogs enjoyed the dinner. Will not go again 🤢

Went In there yesterday, bought large fish - twice - and two cones of chips. The fish was tasteless and swimming In greece and the chips were totally undercooked. One of the 2 women that served me had no Idea how to wrap the food & the other woman looked unkempt. Will NEVER go there again !!!!!

Nice fish and chippie bit of hit and miss if you go at the wrong time chips are not hot or wamed up from lunch time. Nice big fish portions and curry sauce. Avoid the mushy peas tho very strange dark colour green.

Too expensive / not very friendly

The chippy is genrually really nice however the younge girl with dark curly hair always messes my order up like say she doesnt even listen at all this is about the 20th time she has screwed up my order i really think she should be reconsidered as i will not be letting her take my order again. All other works are great

Best donner kebab in the area...

Had kebab meat and chips the chips were ok but the kebab meat tasted of nothing and was like chewing plastic. If you are going here then I suggest you stay away from the kebab meat. This is a updated review from a t star review I left a year ago when the chips were a lot nicer and I had pie and that was fine.

Very nice little chip shop, with a nice selection of foods. 3 types of kebeb meat, fish strips, chicken strips & various specials on offer. Prices & portions are very reasonable, especially compared to the McDonald's next door... Which also has nice parking hint hint.

Fish n Chips cooked to perfection what more can one say, why go to a burger bar when there is a fish n Chip shop around! It's a no brainer..........Enjoy...DG

Always get great food from here. I'm fussy about chippy chips and don't find many places I enjoy after the first couple of chips. These are delicious and always loads of them for your money. Some great deals available. Staff are always really welcoming and friendly.

It made me and my child ill on both occasions sickness n upset stomach. I tried a bite of sausage it was cold and not cooked. I complained to the staff as my son was vomiting the food up outside the food shop was told to get out followed by the chef who had tried spitting in my face. Would not recommend this shop to anyone it's disgusting and will make your extremely unwell. You are very very lucky I never got the police involved. You should be shut down

Friendly family feel, food was cooked to high standards and very tasty chips!

Me, my husband and my child ate here. Both occasions was extremely unwell. Last time I ordered food my son started vomiting violently outside the shop, I then tasted the savaloy which was cold and not cooked at all. I'm thinking now what was actually in the meat? Complained to staff only to be told to get out in which made me extremely upset i told him he needs shutting down i was then followed by the chef who approached me in front of my son in car who tried spitting at me. He is very lucky I never called the Police and the place needs shutting down it's a danger hazard to the local community and needs investigating by Food Standards.

Often re heated foods, stuff on display had often been there for hours on end. A good example is the spring rolls that are crunchy of which they shouldn't be. Asked numerous times for a certain piece of chicken, only to be given a totally unedible one that ive had to throw. Hes often rude and verbally aggressive to his staff and you rarely see the same member of staff more than twice i wonder why that is. He's had some very polite and well presented staff. Never seen him physically aggressive to his staff, but ive heard what he's said to them and I've had to bite my tongue.

Teníamos un kebab mezclado desde aquí y que ayer fue muy mala. La carne era tan finas donner y seco no era comestible. Algunos de los pollos era ligeramente crudo y duro, de malgastar el dinero. Es una lástima, ya que es mi local "fish and chips". Lo único bueno es que el personal era amable.(Ver foto de abajo).

Visitamos este pescado supuestamente tradicional bar y patatas durante la estancia en Birmingham hace unas pocas semanas. cierran temprano, así que elección es limitada si llama a 6 / 7 pm. Quizás es así como la calidad de la comida que se sirve es deficiente para decir lo menos. Las raciones puede ser bueno y malo dependiendo del miembro del personal, por ejemplo de deber el tamaño de los peces y raciones de patatas fritas servidos. nuevo probablemente tan bien si tienes una pequeña porción. La comida era gotear de grasa, las patatas fritas eran suaves el pescado podría nadar en la grasa si todavía and alive concerts fácilmente en el fondo peores 3 bares de pescado que he visitado mientras en el extranjero. Mi opinión es mejor evitarlo si buscando pescado de calidad.
