I don’t often order fish and chips because I’m really fussy but I got to give a big thumbs up it was fresh hot not one bit of grease and the chips wasn’t floppy perfect well recommend I will order again if they always turn up like that amazing dinner thank you

Great meal and bang on delivery

Delivered on time. Food was hot. And everyone enjoyed it. Would use again. Only thing I can complain about is the burger. It turned up with cheese, salad and sauce. None of which was in the description. Normally we wouldn’t have the cheese. But it still tasted nice and it wasn’t rubber cheese.

Came in with my 3 kids, was surprised by the cleanliness of the kitchen and not only that the kids menu was amazing, I met the owner and waiters and their service was amazing. The fish and chips I ordered was genuinely the best I ever had, my kids would agree with that. All for a reasonable price. Must go fish and chips shop if you are in Portsmouth. Definetly will visit next time I'm in the area.

Not had from here before but as our local was closed needed to look elsewhere. Fish and chips were absolutely lovely! Batter was golden and crispy, fish was huge. Will order from here again!

Lived in Portsmouth most my life, tried a lot of fish and chips, this place ranks high and for the price and service, you can't really get much better. The fact the owner is cheery, friendly and clearly passionate about his busines says a lot, especially when you own a shop in Northend. 10/10

Ordered online - order wasn’t started until over an hour after we had ordered. Chips came more like a portion of medium instead of large and came with salt and vinegar, when we asked for no salt and no vinegar which meant we couldn’t eat it. Will not be ordering online from here again.

Very tasty but pretty sure they missed off a portion of chips I’d paid for. If what I got was a large and a medium portion then the world we currently exist in is in a real state. Used to be able to feed the whole family of 5 on 1 large portion. Despite the distinct lack of chips I enjoyed my food.

Fish was really bland 🥲and the chips were cold and definitely not fresh ( no salt or vinegar either ) , scampi was ok at best. Usually really good but today was awful and a waste of £27.

Ordered Cod and Chips but the Cod was rather bland this time, chips where ok but had to add my own vinegar and salt as seemed a small amount, Shame as normally alot more better.

I had a home delivery. It tooks an hour to have some fish and chips. Distance for delivery less than half mile. Verry oily fish and chips, no taste, no presentation, cold food. way too expensive . very bad experience.

total waste of money. by the time it arrived, son had to leave for without having his dinner. the food had been sitting in the bag so long, the batter had gone soggy, so had the pie. The chips were terrible. the only thing that got fed was the bin. I want my money back.

Food is tasty but I don’t know why yesterday after taking food I am suffering diarrhea it’s not main think one Staff his attitude very very bad I see , one old just eats delivery driver with him unnecessary argument and rude behaviour with him. sometimes this staff rude attitude with their customer I think he come to work after taking alcohol. so bebecarefull when this person work in restaurant no need to talking extra. very unhealthy Food & last week after take food from this restaurant i was suffering severe diarrhoea. In this restaurant one of the male staff is very very idiot & his attitude is very bad. I noticed he always rude rude behave with his customer.

First time using this chip shop as I usually use another but they weren’t taking orders, so used this one and have to say hot food, everything was lovely, fish, chips, fish cake and sausage in batter will order from here again very happy

Said driver was at restaurant but I drove down there and no just eat driver was there then the app switched over to say they had just left absolute rubbish food was cold never had a problem with this chip shop and ordered many times before but drought I'll be using just eat again

Last weekend we had the pleasure of dining @ Ocean Fresh for the first time . I must say it was a fantastic experience from warm and welcoming greeting to finish. The Owner, Mass , who was incredibly friendly, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Fish and chips was great and just the right amount of crispy and we were impressed with the quality of the ingredients. Aside from the delicious food, was the reasonable pricing. Ocean Fresh definitely delivers great value for your money. We will definitely come Back or take advantage of delivery . Thanks Mass

Lovely jumbo sausage, chips and garlic mushrooms. Only thing I would mention is the portion of garlic mushrooms is a little small for the price. Maybe use larger mushrooms or increase amount to 12 per portion.

Was really looking forward to our food, however there was a fish cake missing so I only ended up with a plate of chips (wedges) because for some reason half the chips still had the skin on. #sackyourpotatopeeler

Got charged twice for the same order. According to my bank, two withdrawals of the same amount were taken from my account at the same time, and I would like to know why? The bank is now looking into the matter.

Never buy from here if u r a vegetarian or vegan When they cook the meat ie sausage or any other none vegetarian things they put the cooked meat with the cooked chips .until the customers come in .

The chips were hard and cold and burnt the curry sauce was way to runny the sausages were pink in the middle and the savloy didn’t taste right that is the second time from there and again vile all went in bin do not order from there

Absolutely delicious as usual. Husband had half pound burger and me vegetarian burger and shared chips. Chips are from fresh potatoes and lovely. Burgers were tasty and a good size too.

Have been coming to this place for around 25 years on and off, it's changed hands around 4 or 5 times in that space. Current Persian owner is very good and looks after his customers, the chips and food are nice as always
