Dinner here felt like a treat after a long week. Everything we tried was full of flavor, and the staff made sure we had a great time.

The vibe is relaxed but upscale, and the food is some of the best I’ve had in the city.

Stopped by for drinks and ended up staying for dinner—totally worth it.

Aqua Nueva is an excellent address! Easy to find, we were greeted warmly and escorted to our table. The Spanish cuisine is delicious, with a special mention for the cured ham. The atmosphere is pleasant and refined, thanks to a well-thought-out play of light. The servers are very kind and attentive. The rooftop offers a superb view, perfect for ending the evening. An experience that I highly recommend!

I expected to see the fireworks or at least the countdown music for the new year but nothing happened! also the tickets prices wasn’t including anything even drinks or sitting.

Came to aqua neuva for brunch. The food was brilliant and high quality, drinks were flowing and we never had an empty glass. Ronak our server was very attentive and polite would definitely recommend.

We were going to the theatre and didn't have much time, so the staff rushed our order through. They were all pleasant and accommodating.

Decent venue good views. Cocktails were quite expensive at £18 each beer was decent value.

I believe the highlight of it was the atmosphere. We were intending to go for the set menu but right off the bat when arriving we were told some of the ingredients weren't available which was a bummer. Service was average at first, but the second person who came in made it better. Food was ok, not bad by any means, but not great... I was expecting this to be a very good Spanish culinary experience but I guess my expectations were not according to the place. The place is great, lighting and the vibes are on point, also there's some good space to walk around and it doesn't feel crowded. I would recommend anyone to go just with the right expectations, it's average food and what you're paying for is the place itself I guess.

The advertising for the Saturday brunch is completely false. No live music, not even a dj .. no atmosphere , food was ok and staff were good but as there were only 3 other tables occupied they had nothing much to do. The worse brunch I’ve ever been to .. this was 21st December 2024

Aqua Nueva offers a chic Spanish dining experience with a modern twist. Firstly, the service was exceptional. Despite us mixing up our scheduling—arriving a week early on a bustling Saturday evening—the staff graciously accommodated us without delay. Their professionalism and willingness to explain the menu and each dish added a touch of sophistication to our evening. Secondly, the food presented a mix of highs and lows. The octopus main dish was stellar; I had to hold myself back from licking the plate clean. My wife was looking at me weirdly while I was in throes of passion. Their renditions of patatas bravas and truffle croquettas were also impressive, though I wished for more than the few drops of sauce provided. The duck breast was tasty and not gamey at all but unfortunately became dry halfway through the meal. The pulled pork sliders were disappointing as the pork lacked salt and needed more seasoning, and the buns seemed undercooked or not properly browned. The ambiance is sleek and glamourous, featuring low-lit tables beneath an arched, copper-clad ceiling, creating a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere for dates, work dinners or pre drinks before a long night out. While the overall experience was positive, the high prices for food that didn't blow my mind make me hesitant to return soon. However, Aqua Nueva would be a perfect venue for professional get togethers or special occasions where ambiance and service are paramount.

I had to organise our office Christmas party and this experience was given such an amazing feedback from the team. The mix of the japanese and spanish tapas food was amazing. Their selection of cocktails was also delicious after we finished a few bottles of their champagne. Service was top tier! As soon as we came in, we were ushered to the VIP area and waiters on hand waiting to serve us the drink we wanted. Beautiful setting with available outdoor space for those who vape or smoke. I'm not considering having more events there and looking at other offers Nueva has available.

I had the pleasure of organizing an event at Aqua Nueva, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The person looking after us was very polite and attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly. At the beginning, there was a small misunderstanding, but the General Manager and another manager, Emanuele, quickly stepped in and resolved the issue with great professionalism and care. I truly appreciate their effort and support. I highly recommend Aqua Nueva for events—excellent food, outstanding service, and a wonderful atmosphere!

We found the food pretty good but the service was definitely not worth a 15% service charge - we were continually having to hunt for a waiter and the wine service was pretty poor (more training required). The music was so loud that conversation was very difficult (we didn’t realise that basically the restaurant area is part of the bar/club). It’s obviously very popular with a young crowd who are more interested in social media than good food and conversation. Not for us.

My Wife and I had the most wonderful lunch with great food and the service was as good as I have had in any restaurant anywhere, thank you so much

A group of 4 of us came out for the bottomless brunch. The food was very good, much better than we have experienced with other similar places and the drinks were very good. The service was excellent, special shout out to Cande (Fernandes) who kept us entertained and made sure we had a good time. It was a little quiet when we first arrived but the atmosphere did pick up durning the afternoon/evening

Really lovely place. We had a pre theatre set meal which was very reasonably priced and delicious. Super convenient for Palladium. Delicious cocktails!

The place was very noisy, loud music, people shouting, I couldn't hear my wife and we had to shout to hear each other, the food quality was poor, for the first time in my life I paid a high amount and left the restaurant hungry.

This is the first time going to this place. It is huge and it has differents spaces. The bar, terrace, Aqua Kyoto restaurant and another área for dining in Aqua Nueva. We went for the menu of 65 pounds per person which is not worthy to pay. Nothing to do with Spanish food , I am spanish and apart from the olives ther rest is not spanish at all. The plates are so so small. Maybe it is better if you go for a la carte and try different plates. The music was extremely loud for dining. They should be able to control the differentes areas so the music is quiter while dining. The terrace is very nice with nice views and the food was good but nothing spectacular

I was looking forward to returning to this establishment. However, the manager was extremely rude and lacked basic customer service. Information was misleading, and we ended up leaving the venue.

I don't know about the food, but it's a steal to have something. We already know that London is “expensive” but the problem is not the price. The problem is that instead of serving you a cocktail they serve you ice. That's why the next time they tell me and I'll bring my bottle. Maybe it is a Spanish food and drink restaurant but it is evident that they lack the atmosphere, The Spanish blood and vibe because we are not such mice. If you are Spanish, don't come and save the money for some good beers at the bar in your town. Besides, they charge you 7.95 pounds for the terrible service.

It was a quiet Monday, but the service was still perfect. We did the experience menu and it was good for the price. Surprisingly had nice wines via the wine pairing. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will come back! Thank you!

We had a wonderful experience in on the Aqua Nuevas private rooms for my brothers 30th Birthday. Food and drinks were great but the service from our waiter (so sorry i've forgotten his name) was second to none. He made our evening with how great he was! Thank you :)

Excellent food and excellent service

I came to this bar on 20th November 2024 at 8:30pm. The 2 women at the front desk were very friendly but the 2 men at the bar were not friendly at all. They seemed put off by the fact that I went up to the bar, but I went up because we hadn't been served on the terrace. I asked for cider and straight away they said "we have it but we don't have it" and then I decided I would choose a different drink and then all of a sudden one of the barmen said he'd go check for the cider and got it straight away. I clarified with the hostess if I could vape on the terrace and she said that I could, then when bringing our drinks the server told me i shouldn't smoke, but vaping is fine. Unprompted. Then he (very kindly) brought me my bag that I left outside, but he gave me a look and side eyed me... like I was stupid or something? Very unsettling atmosphere.

RECENTLY: Updating my review as we visited again recently and this time the experience was utterly bad. Unfriendly staff, far too loud music that we had to shout to be heard, incredibly slow service - it was an hour before we had food on the table, and terrible food! The waiter tried to convince us that the dangerously salty prawn paella was normal- if you have to warn people before they order a dish, then you need to change the dish not double down that "that's how it's made". The portions were significantly smaller and dishes were either underflavoured or over salted. And despite asking how we wanted our meats cooked, came out with incorrect dishes. We didn't even bother with a second round of drinks or dessert. Utterly bad second experience. It was a real shame because I was particularly excited to revisit, to be let down so colossally. PREVIOUSLY: Such a wonderful experience! The location was ba little difficult to find as Google basically sends you across the street but once I noticed the aqua sign, I came to ask for directions and found the place! Nueva & Kyoto share an entrance. We were welcomed warmly at every step, and shown to our table. The decor was beatiful, the dj was great and the vibe was chilled and classy. Our server Magdalena was lovely and attentive throughout our entire experience. Glasses were never empty- be it water, wine or the delicious cocktails. Our table loved the tapas dining style - we were able to sample so much on the menu. Our faves were the hake, the manchego and the mushroom croquettes (the seafood one was a bit lacklustre), and the bikini sandwich. Apart from the croquettes which came as 6, everything was served in portions for 2. Sadly the seafood paella was sold out, which was a real shame for an early Saturday evening booking, and the lamb was lacking a little something. However the desserts were lovely! I loved the flan, and my guests were won over by the crema Catalana. The churros could have been a little sweeter to counter the dark chocolate sauce but the citrus marmalade was a great touch. We left very happy after taking many photos on the beatiful terrace of course. Thanks to the whole team for a wonderful and beautiful and DELICIOUS evening! We'll be back in the summer!

A wonderful Spanish culinary experience. In the private dining area adjacent to the main restaurant and cocktail bar ( which looked pretty cool too). Sponsored by the Spanish tourism team over from various regions it highlighted the depth of their superb cuisine with a large selection of sharing dishes, with options for seafood, meat and veg all stunning. Well worth a visit for a Christmas treat....or anytime you feel in need of a treat!

Just no! Paella was so salty, the staff were just unhelpful and atmosphere was not wecoming. We had the paella and service charge taken off the bill. I will NOT be going back to restaurant.

Food was exemplary - best tapas done “Michelin star” style I’ve ever eaten. Crab tostado and lamb chop were standouts, the latter accompanied by a vegetable purée and a delicate sauce. At mosh we r was odd as very dark at 1800 - guests were using phones to read the menu and the menu was printed in a light gray. The room is large and you can see every table. Maybe this appeals to young things but the average age of the early diners seeing the show at the Palladium was circa 65. Wine was superb (see photo) though somewhat overpriced - I bought a case from the wine society for £18 a bottle and paid £82 in the restaurant; so that’s probably a 5x mark up on the cost to the restaurant. Still highly recommended and staff were friendly.

Muy recomendable para cualquiera que busque disfrutar de una cocina española de alta calidad en Londres!

Came before dinner time so it was nice and quiet. The service was good, and most dishes were fine. Churros were nice and the octopus was cooked well. We also got the seafood paella and the waiter said it was salty (which we thought would be fine) but that was an understatement; it compared to eating the ocean with each bite! Could not finish it.

Was horrified when we arrived at the restaurant to discover it was basically a nightclub, complete with a DJ and thumping bass. Super-dark and super-loud is not my cup of tea! But was thrilled when they led us to our table in a much quieter room. Most of our food was amazing, especially the house-made cheese and the jamon croquettes. We had THE best server we’ve had in 6 weeks in London. I wish I remembered her name. She had straight hair and glasses. She was so on top of everything. Kindly tolerated our indecisiveness, brought out food and drinks at just the right pace, and kept our waters filled throughout the meal - hoorah! Sorry to be a demanding American, but so often servers here demand your entire order immediately upon arriving at your table for the first time; then dump all your food on you all at once; and leave you begging for 2 ounces of water. Thank you for the outstanding service!

Service was very poor, treated rudely and then mocked by one of the host team! Waiting team was polite but very understaffed. Host team also lost our coats. Food was not worth the money, starters were decent but I had the Octopus for main and it was 2 tiny pieces floating in a bowl of cheese. Dessert was a single churro which was not worth the money at all. All in all very disappointing, would not recommend.

A very cool place to celebrate a special occasion as it was for us. A 50th birthday to celebrate and the food, atmosphere (even on a quiet night) and whole experience is definitely a 5* visit.

The ambience and atmosphere very buzzy. The service was excellent and very attentive. We had very high expectations and the restaurant has been on our list for a while to try. However we were Disappointed with the food, Luke warm and for us just too far removed from ‘tapas’, too de-constructed, croquettes were good but overall sorry the food was just not for us.

The restaurant is really nice and the food is fine. Nothing exceptional food wise but the brunch is worth it. We booked the private room for a birthday and the event team just did a terrible job. They sent 50 emails instead of just calling to sort out details even when I requested a call, they didn’t tell us that they will charge us for the water which ended up being almost 200£ and simply were off on the day. Very poorly managed event and my birthday ended up being stressful instead of enjoyable because of their incompetence. The restaurant manager was nice and tried helping but wasn’t enough.

I went to aqua nueva on Saturday night with my friends. For a starter we ordered one bottle of rosé wine. Then my friends ordered patatas bravas the taste was spicy but delicious. I ordered croquettes manchego cheese and fish, it was crunchy! Loved it! The place is beautiful to take pictures and have fun with friends. The place has a DJ on weekends. Aqua nueva is expensive, but the food is good and the waiters are friendly.

The place looks amazing and the bust bar area was bustling. The first and most noticeable element was the dinning room was very cold compared to the bar, so much so we had to keep our jackets on. The food was traditional Spanish dishes with a twist but the flavours were really quite average, if had far better is quite inexpensive restaurants in Spain. The Drinks from the bar were very slow and taking our orders the same. The food came out promptly though. I am afraid we wont return.

La decoración y las vistas son agradables, pero la comida era posiblemente la peor que hemos tenido mientras cenamos fuera y mucho menos en un restaurante en el centro de Londres. Teníamos el menú degustador por £ 60. El sabor de la comida era absolutamente terrible. Cada plato era insípido, helado y tan pequeño que nos fuimos absolutamente hambrientos. Primero mordisco en un desierto uno de mis amigos se arrancó un pelo que fue solo la gota que colmó el vaso para nosotros. Hay muchos lugares increíbles para comer en Londres, pero honestamente este no es uno de ellos. Compartimos nuestra decepción con el gerente. Ella era encantadora y muy disculpada y manejó bien nuestra queja, pero arruinó por completo nuestro viaje a Londres, ya que terminó en tan bajo y después de la cena todavía estábamos tan hambrientos que tuvimos que ir a otro lugar y pedir más comida. Yo no recomendaría por desgracia.

The Aqua Nueva is a place you ‘discover’ (not least because the stated address is 240 Regent Street, but the entrance is around the back). Once there you take the lift to the fifth floor which opens onto a stylish, discreet, well-judged environment with plenty of space and buckets of atmosphere. The food is truly imaginative, creative and thoroughly delicious. Go for two small tapas plate per person plus one main. Absolutely have the pulled pork buns and home-crafted cheese and leave room for the Tuffon Soufflé. A terrific find.

La comida es verdaderamente imaginativa, creativa y deliciosa. Elige dos platos pequeños de tapas por persona más uno principal. Absolutamente tener los bollos de cerdo tirado y casa - queso artesanal y dejar espacio para el Tuffon Soufflé. Un gran hallazgo.

Ubicación perfecta como visitar el teatro de enfrente! Reservamos una mesa en la azotea antes de nuestra comida... disfrutamos de la comida inmensamente! Todos los platos eran excelentes! Servicio excelente también! Mi única queja fue que juntaron a todos los comensales en lugar de separarnos un poco. Era muy tranquilo, así que esto podría haberse hecho fácilmente.

We came on a quiet Monday evening. It was perfect after a long day. Every bite was surprisingly delicious so we kept asking for the menu to order more. Even dishes I wouldn’t normally order, I tried here because I wanted to see what they’d do. Lamb, duck, pork, turbot, crab, prawns, ham, sardines, churros and Catalan crème.

We had a wonderful meal at Aqua Nueva. Lovely staff, great cocktails and amazing food...we especially liked the cheese tapas, the Rack of Lamb and the Pork Tenderloin. Our only comment...is the restaurant is v dark...to the point where several parties (including us) were having to use the torches on our phones to read the menu...despite there being candles on the tables. The food exceeded our expectations. Very good service too by informative staff. Thank you.

Very good tapas, wine and service

What an infuriating displeasure to see an absolutely cramped rooftop space yet advertise their business collaborating with Patron for a spacious brand-inspired rooftop installation. Please take down your advertisement if you don't actually put it up for long-term. Disappointing and ridiculous photographs of drinks on the website that don't actually exist when you make the order. Deceiving and misleading. What a fraud!

We had such a great time over lunch on the terrace . The staff were excellent , matched by the food and wine on offer. It brought back many fond memories of trips to Spain . Muchas Gracias .

We had a very bad start to our Aqua Nueva experience on 22nd August. I had booked a pre theatre menu for two, at 5:30, as per the website. Firstly the grumpy person on the main reception did not seem to be able to find my booking, then she told me it was. bar booking for drinks and bar snacks. I told her this was wrong and showed her my Open table booking form on my phone. She refused too accept what I was saying and the young man who had initially welcomed us then showed us to a terraced seating area, insisting that we could have the menu we had booked for here. We ordered drinks. Then spoke to the waiter about ordering food from the theatre menu. She told us we were sitting in the wrong place and this menu was not available here. She disappeared for several minutes. Eventually after about 20 minutes someone came and told us we were sitting in the wrong area and needed to move to Aqua Nueva. As we moved through the restaurant we encountered the same unpleasant woman at the reception desk who again told me she had explained initially what we could do and that there was no problem!!! Finally the head waiter from Aqua Nueva took us to our table. then things improved. Waiting staff in the restaurant were well trained, knowledgable and pleasant. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed our meal once we had got over feeling very angry and upset about how we had been treated. The head waiter apologised and checked in with us that all was ok now, we said it was. We finished our meal in good time to get to the theatre. Sadly no one thought to offer any recompense for the poor treatment we received initially. Even a small reduction on the bill would have left me feeling heard and would make me want to go back. At this point in time I would not recommend for anyone to go to the Aqua restaurant complex due to their lack of front of house customer focus and care. I was and still am extremely angry at how we were treated. This was part of a special birthday celebration for my partner, and it was spoiled by arrogant and unpleasant staff and lack of customer care.
