Just fish and potatoes, no sauce or seasoning with salt. I found it a bit nauseating

Real fish 🐟 and chips Traditional

After visiting the Royal Waffles, I checked out the traditional fish and chips nearby. I found this place. Although it is a bit far away, it is very worth it. The waiter was very nice and allowed me to order even though I only had euros on me (cash only) I ordered fish and chips + two drinks for 20 euros The store even recommended how to eat it and helped me add seasonings. The fish is fresh and has a good texture, no other complicated seasonings Adding seasonings and vinegar elevates fried fish Must try it, it’s delicious The portion was quite large. Halfway through my meal, I asked the store owner to pack it up for me. He immediately added more fries and gave me a lot of seasoning packets for takeaway😀

This is as traditional as you can get and all the better for it. They take pride in what they serve and as a regular customer, I'm glad of it! If you want to eat it there and then? Simply ask for the box, otherwise they will wrap it in the traditional paper wrapper instead. All fish (types) cost the same and are a healthy size always.

Absolutely brilliant bistro with traditional fish and chips. Excellent service and absolutely great food. You can't pay by card, but even if we were missing about a pound and a half, it wasn't a problem. We were really excited, this is exactly how I imagine this unmistakable British dish.

I was extremely disappointed and had better fish and chips in lowered class neighbourhoods, was discriminated against, being the only one served in paper and not a box like everyone's else, and why in 2024 we still allow businesses to deal with cash only, we need all the tax not half of whatever is declared.

First time trying fish and chips in England!! One word AMAZING!! It’s own by a family and they all work there. Very nice and down to earth people. I asked for recommendations and they recommended cot fish and fry sauce! Amazing! The place is CASH ONLY, which you know, when is cash only that means that’s the spot to eat!!

Literally huge fish and chips! I was surprised by the weight of the fish and chips when I received it. It's worth noting that they only take cash.

Used to visit regularly but haven't returned since I politely queried if it was cod or haddock. The male server SHOUTED at me that it was cod, then walked away, sneering at me over his shoulder 😠 I ALWAYS felt unwelcomed by the 2 main male servers; they CLEARLY don't value customer diversity! Only fish and chip shop where they (have used) Jersey Royals 😲 and where (on one occasion), they didn't remove the scales before cooking. It was like biting into bubble wrap 🤢

Now this is a chippie. Forget Seaffesh! Staff are great and the food is what you would expect from a chippie. Traditional and probably underrated on google but this is the go to place for all the locals and it has been here for years!

5시쯤 갔더니 자리가 있어서 앉아서 먹고 왔습니다! 앉아서 먹는 자리가 4개 밖에 없고 현금만 가능해요!! 처음 먹어보는데 맛있네요!! 현지인들이 정말 많이 포장해 가는것 보고 맛집이구나 했는데 맛있어요! 혼자 먹기에는 양이 많긴하네요ㅎㅎ

Everything is very tasty and the portions are huge, one person will not eat one portion, the disadvantages are that there is no place to sit down and you cannot pay with a card, otherwise everything is very tasty, I recommend👍.

Très bon fish & chips à emporter, fréquenté par les londoniens, loin des attrape-touristes. Personnel sympa et prix corrects : 9,50 £ pour le fish et 3,50 £ pour "large chips" (valable pour 2 !), Chicken nuggets ou burger à 2,50 £. A recommander !!

Nous sommes tombés sur ce restaurant un peu par hasard et quelle surprise! Les prix sont corrects et le fish and chips est tres bon. Les portions sont copieuses, une portion de frites pour deux est largement suffisante. À faire si vous vous baladez près de Westminster et que vous voulez éviter la foule.

Une très belle expérience pour tester le fish and chips !! Les portions sont énormes : on a pris trois portions pour 4 gros mangeurs et on n'a pas pu finir le frites :) C'était excellent !! Vraiment à tester !! Le patron est top !!

I don’t live in Pimlico, but I am more than happy to treat myself to the BEST takeaway fish and chips I’ve ever tasted so far in life! (The fact that the chips are soft even when cold is unreal! And the crispy crust covering of the fish is satisfyingly just right) I honestly had cravings for weeks after my first time trying it, and I think it will probably remain one of my most cherished places to go and I hope this wonderful business has a long life and doesn’t change what it does best!

Refuse to take cash - come on - it’s not 1974 anymore.

Shop was shut when I arrived at 9:15pm, they arent throwing the food away. So expect reheated day old food if you dont see it cooked from fresh on front of you. Avoid these guys, they refuse to update the menu prices on google aswell. Traditional it isnt, if it was it would be open up until the displayed times or have a motice mentioning the last fry. Go ask a TRADITIONAL fish and chip shop owner.

Found this great little shop on our last day in London, the folks here were so nice and generous and the Cod and Chips were absolutely delicious! The portions are amazing and the batter so crisp! Will definitely be back if I am ever in London again!

I used to come here often as it used to be pretty decent and they would fry the fish on the moment upon request. I've been very disappointed the last few of times that I've been there, as they seem to give only the pieces of fish that are already made which have been under the heat lamp for who know how long. They don't taste fresh and it feels dry and chewy. The last time that I went there, I asked if it could be made on the spot, and told them that I didn't mind waiting. They didn't seem too keen, but agreed to. Then, in a very rude manner, while he was saying yes and agreeing to fry it, he started taking the pieces from under the heat lamp. I wasn't very impressed but I took it and thought to give it a go and try it. It wasn't good at all. Overpriced and poor quality. It's certainly the last time that I'm going there.

Giving a five star review for the kind owner! I had only 8 quid on my and left my hotel without my ATM card. Unfortunately the place does not accept card payments. So I bought just cod with the money I had and the kind owner gave me some chips included with the cod. To the owner, may you always be blessed!

Always good quality food, best fish and chip shop around. I have been going to this shop for years and will continue to recommend it to all my family and friends. The portions are a good size are are good value for money. I won't go anywhere else for my fish and chips.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I asked for fish bites and chips which was fine then the guy serving me asked if I wanted salt and vinegar which I replied "only a little bit of salt" the guy serving me then put salt and vinegar on the food so I stopped him and he said " you don't want it anymore?" I said no and he replied " you're not going to die" obviously he gave me some new chips but the fish was the same one which I just got on with however this was very rude and I did not appreciate it . I understand he may not have heard me but there was no need for all of that. What if I actually was allergic to vinegar? Furthermore I am a paying customer I don't understand what all the attitude was about so I'm over it.
