Delicious fish and chips, good prices, in the take away area there is a bar to eat there, without many pretensions you can eat well and cheaply.

Got take away. Made made we wait as were going to make a fresh fish (which I was happy with) but then they actually gave me a fish that was in the cabinet keeping warm which seemed like it had been there a long time. Chips were dry yet greasy and overcooked (seemed like had been re-cooked)

I felt fortunate to have my first fish and chips here. I ate it well without it being as greasy as I expected, and most of all, I was grateful for the friendly response of the staff. There are cases where Asian women are discriminated against because they are alone, but here they treated me with consideration. There were times when I had difficulties when I first came to the West because the culture was so different, but I was grateful that they treated me well.

We visited this place for a late lunch during our trip to London. The restaurant was not crowded in the middle of afternoon and it was a warm place to rest after spending the day in a very cold weather. But be careful, it's very cold in the restrooms in winter! The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. I liked the decoration which brings like summer and tropical vibes. The menu offers various dishes with fish and potatoes, as well as salad and soup. I had to try the famous fish and chips so I chose the Peterhead Cod fish and chips. It's a simple dish but it was delicious and worth it. The size was big enough to satisfy an empty stomach. Large fish portions in a clean restaurant with a good service

Who said British fish and chips aren't delicious? When you first bite, it's warm, moist, crunchy, chewy, light, and salty... The batter for the fried squid is a bit thick, but the fresh squid makes up for it. There was a lot of food so I ate it until tomorrow morning. If you think about it that way, it's not that expensive. I ate well~

We had a fantastic meal here. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming. We ordered the chowder and then decided we wanted more food which was no trouble at all. We then had the linguine which was fantastic. Quality seafood and great portions. Brilliant value for money. Friendly atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble. We needed a meal before travelling home via Victoria Coach station, we did not want to eat in a chain restaurant and discovered Seafresh. The food was delicious and I am looking forward to a return visit to try other dishes next time. They also have an alcohol license so I was able to enjoy a glass of wine with my fish and chips

Seafresh has been our "go too" fish & chips restaurant for quite some time, but very recently the standard has dropped, especially when we have it delivered, as we have this evening 6/12/24 we have had to bin two portions of chips, they looked like they were cooked earlier in the week, absolutely disgusting, the fish was ok. When we eat at the restaurant it's always very good, so why send out sub standard food for delivery customers,,,,, very, very disappointing.

Friendly service, good fish and chips, a little expensive perhaps but portions were generous. Was convenient when I needed somewhere quick to eat before going out elsewhere.

Second visit here. Superb food. Fish and chips exactly as they should be and lovely to have them served in a proper restaurant and able to have an alcoholic drink with them. Staff superb and very welcoming. I wish I lived closer so I could go every week….

Pleasant place despite too little ventilation not allowing sufficient extraction of cooking odors!!

Nous nous y sommes allé les yeux fermés suite aux différents avis, mon épouse a pris un filet de saumon grillé qui ne laissera pas de souvenir impérissable à 22,95 livres, de mon coté j'ai malheureusement opté pour une salade mixte de la mer à 22,95l , 4 moules, quelques morceaux de poulpes, un peu de saumon fumé et 2 gambas tout semblait avoir été passés sous le robinet d'eau afin d'en retirer le gout, je n'ai jamais rien mangé d'aussi insipide. 5 jours passés à Londres ou nous avons par ailleurs plutot très bien mangé. Vraiment décevant. De plus difficile à trouver, l'adresse est très approximative (c'est dans le coin!)

First FiSH and ChiPs upon touchdown in London city center… highly recommend their cod fish and chips… we also ordered BuRgEr and understandable it’s probably not their specialty but my youngest child(8) is okay with it. Don’t forget to try the Seafood Chowder which is perfectly stewed and served warm!

There was a hair in my food. The chef came out to meet me and I saw that he had long unruly hair and wasn't wearing a cap. When I asked for my money to be returned they told me to complain to my credit card company.

El responsable nos cobró un cargo de cobertura cuando pagamos en efectivo y una gratificación al pagar el resto con tarjeta, de ahí que paguemos el doble de esta gratificación. Sin embargo no notamos este recargo ya que el hombre solo nos dio el recibo después de hacer el pago, lo que es injusto. Así que compruebe cuidadosamente ANTES de vender su factura

TAKEAWAY ORDER* 3 cod bites and chips for a bargain price of £6.50. The bites themselves are the same as a small fish in other shops - insane value for money especially considering the area. As for the taste, the chips were perfect and the fish was so fresh with a light crisp batter. Usually feel tired after fish and chips but this was so clean and not greasy at all. If I lived closer it would be my go to!

The food is excellent, the service is kind.

The prawn cocktail (in US we would call these half-inch Crustaceans “shrimp”) was tasty. But the high-expectations I had for the fish and chips, set by my nearby hotel, were unjustified. The cod seemed of decent quality and the crust was acceptably crunchy, but the dish was so under-seasoned that taking a bite without tartar sauce, vinegar, or lemon was unpleasant. I tried to correct the seasoning by salting and peppering but there is no substitute for seasoning the fish and batter directly before cooking, plus additional seasonings are appropriate. The fries were not crispy (and not because they were cold). The piece of cod was enormous, more than a mere mortal could consume in one sitting, but I would happily exchange the size for quality. Service was mixed, alternating between lukewarm and overly enthusiastic (multiple people). Another odd mistake: extremely limited choice of beers, and nothing on tap. The deficiencies at Seafresh are basic and easily remedied. I recommend a tasty and crispy fish and chips at The Constitution pub nearby, supplemented with a Guinness or one of the ales on tap.

We visited on 3 different occasions during our stay in London and what a pleasant experience we had each time, the food and service is like no other. Thank you to the whole team waiting & kitchen for making it the best, we tried all different dishes but on our final night we chose the lobster thermidor and what a treat it was! Me and my family can’t wait to return to London on our next trip and visit this establishment. Would highly recommend! Thank you once again Seafresh!!

I don't know how this place has 4.4 stars. Or maybe my case was a one of. The food was bland. I know I can add salt but it seems pretty standard to me to layer in the flavor by adding some salt first so that the deeper parts of the fish get some taste. The service was awful. No water refill. It took forever to get the bill. Servers are slow and seem only able to remember one thing at a time. The restaurant wasn't even full. To add insult to injury, the prices are high. I absolutely don't recommend.

The squid feels fresh. The fish and chips made with cod were very fresh, but as an Asian, I found them a bit greasy. The pea paste that comes with it is very delicious. It felt like a lot of local people came. The most important thing was the very friendly attitude of the staff. It just makes you feel good and tastes good too. Data doesn't work well around me. There is no WIFI in the store.

We had been to this restaurant, with an adjoining fish shop, on our pre-covid trips to London. We were happy to return, but it seemed to us that the management had changed. The restaurant is cooler, less spartan than before and the menu also features more refined foods, such as oysters. We had a very generous fish and chips, a salmon and a grilled tail, all good. The choice of type of fish for fish and chips is interesting. We were disappointed by the octopus starter because I found a lot of salad and very little octopus on the plate. For being in London, the value for money is good, but I miss the spartan home and shop restaurant that it was.

Booked a table with friends for our bimonthly get together. Food was very mixed. The fried fish and chips was ok but my grilled skate was awful. I eat skate a lot and was very disappointed with this. The grilled sardines were very good. We tried two different wines, Gavi di Gavi and Pinot Grigio. Both were poor and tasted identical.

Today I ordered seafood soup, fish and chips, and beer. I didn’t take a photo of the seafood soup because I was too hungry, and it was really delicious. The seafood was plentiful and very fresh. I highly recommend it. There are many kinds of fried fish. The first one I ordered was Peterhead Cod. It tasted good, tender and juicy.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a tourist guide. The fish and ships is very generous compared to what we have seen in certain places. It's not a tourist trap.

I discovered this little gem only a few months ago when I stayed over in London. So, I was back again at the end of last week and I had to pop in for another takeaway! Both the chips and battered sausage were fresh and tasty. I would say it’s better than my fave here in Liverpool (Lobster Pot)! The staff are also friendly, so it’s an all round great experience! Be back again very soon!

Decent seafood restaurant for fish and chips in Pimlico London!

Overall, lovely restaurant... bland food and mostly overcooked. Chowder particularly lacked flavour, lots of cod, one mussel and no prawns in sight... On top of being extremely watery. Whitebait, however was delicious!

It's quite a nice place if you're looking for fish and sea food. We went there on Sunday and enjoyed a tasty dinner - baked fish and new potatoes; while my husband enjoyed his scampi and chips. The starter was good - grilled calamari (first time we tried grilled) and a portion of prawn cocktail for the starter, we liked it. They have a decent variety to choose from. We'd like to try the other options at some point of time again.

Raving reviews from work colleagues meant I had to try Seafresh out. Wasn't left disappointed as the Cod & Chips took me back to the way Fish & Chips were served back in the Mid 90's. Fish battered and fried to Golden crisp perfection. Not Greasy or oily, just right. *Fish and Chips both Fried in separate quality oil ensuring it's suitable for Vegetarians & also Halal **Shop is divided into two units. They have an option to dine in as you would in a restaurant, or have a fast food section next door for a quicker counter service experience with the added comfort of also eating in utilising the breakfast bar type set up complete with high chairs. Price was very reasonable for the location. Many thanks for providing such a warm welcome , excellent service and fantastic food. 👍👍👍👍👍

I met a friend here for a late lunch, having been recommended by a local person. The place was clean, but somehow had the air of previously being very good but less so now. I had a pasta dish which was very tasty and a generous portion.

We wanted fish & chips on our 1st night in London. They had a variety of fish to have with you chips. We each got a large piece of cod, lightly breaded and fried with a large portion of chuncky chips, fried just right. We liked it so much we went back the last night in London. Service was also great, very attentive.

We visited the Seafresh Fish Restaurant at the beginning of May, the meals were outstanding the fish was fresh with a crispy batter, chips perfectly cooked and the mashy pies outstanding.

I took it home and used it. It was a great size fish, it was a good price, and it was very delicious. The kind staff poured plenty of vinegar on me.

So so yummy. Everything delicious!! Can't wait to return. Friendly and helpful service.

If I could give a 0 stars I would!!! The food is very bland with no flavor or seasoning at all. The shrimp had a poop line and wasn’t cleaned. When questioned, the chef said it’s a common practice in England to not clean shrimp. I now can’t eat shrimp in the uk
