Unfortunately the fish was very oily but expensive

Crab was good, trout was good. Swordfish very disappointing very dry.

Came here with family after a show. The meal was nice, but rather on the pricey side. £20 for oil drenched fish and chips is crazy! Staff were quite rude too. One on the waiters (can’t remember his name) seemed almost annoyed that we had came with our children, and seemed to always be hurrying us along. Overall, not the best experience

I'm really surprised and very happy about knowing my lil pooch had her own menu... Yes you read it right.. they have a dogs menu too.. I love this warm and very friendly restaurant..🤩♥️🥰🥳

Enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner here - great spot with a fab sea view. The staff, in particular Lukas and Kamil were so attentive and ensured we had a great evening. The fish and chips, and the seafood ravioli were perfection. Will definitely be back.

Incredible food, attentive and helpful staff and a gentle buzz of atmosphere. It has a ramp which is accessible in a wheelchair - you may need a push or if you have power add on you should be fine. Tables have space around and moving chairs was never a problem. Tiled floor for easy wheeling. Situated on the beach front you can see the sea from your table and it's a relaxed, smart casual restaurant. On our second night eating, the bi-folding doors were open which was glorious. Food is outstanding: we are two nights in a row, with different main meals each evening and not one fault found.

The terrine was fine but my sister had to send her tempura prawns back as the batter wasn't cooked properly and you could tell that it wasn't just by looking at it and I am not a chef. The haddock and chips with mushy peas was fine but the restaurant was freezing inside, I have been to eat here several times before but after this experience never again.

Fantástica ubicación en la playa. Personal cortés y profesional. Fui allí en un descanso familiar. Tuvimos mejilla de buey, solla y pescado y patatas fritas. No podía fallar.

Pedimos el eglefino rebozado con patatas fritas, y la masa goteaba de aceite, el pescado era insípido y era muy decepcionante.

Great seafood restaurant right on the seafront. The drinks and food we ordered were freshly made and high quality. Dog friendly too which is a bonus for us!

Amazing food, great service. Restaurant gets very busy at lunchtime, but was pleasantly buzzy in the evening. Try the Ceviche if it's on the specials board !

Stopped for a drink in the sunshine. Great seating outside. Wine was pricey but good. Lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

Overpriced and poor food. "American Pancakes" was simply four microwaved scotch pancakes from the supermarket with five blueberries (literally five!). If a chef can't make pancakes, there's a problem!

Tasty food and good service. Was out of season so felt a bit flat but location is good and prices considering were fair ish.

Excellent fish dishes but very expensive

Great location, friendly staff, excellent sea food. I had catch of the day (whole sea bass) which was enough for 2! My wife had the muscles which are always good. Given the location and quality of food it's good value. Worth treating yourself.

Muy buena comida, gran servicio, hermosas vistas al mar. Es una buena relación calidad-precio, pero en comparación con el pescado con patatas fritas regular es más caro. Pero vale la pena porque la calidad es muy buena y el personal de espera es muy profesional y encantador. Era nuestra segunda vez allí y recomendamos encarecidamente este restaurante. Volveremos cuando visitemos Bournemouth la próxima vez 😃

Lovely meal, fantastic location very friendly staff.

Se suponía que esto sería un bocado rápido después de un paseo a Sandbanks. Literalmente al minuto nos sirvieron nuestra comida 1 hora después de sentarnos, incluso las bebidas tomaron casi 20 minutos. La comida en sí era genial, no hay culpa, aparte de la £ 22 costo por cabeza que barra 2 desiertos era 8 personas 1 plato. También era helada corriente fría que viene de ventanas en la parte delantera y no hay mucha calefacción para contrarrestar, todo no dijo un almuerzo brillante.

Tuvimos una fabulosa fiesta de Navidad en West Beach - Igor y el equipo fueron muy serviciales en el principio, con una gran comunicación y durante todo el tiempo. Fueron muy serviciales, genial para los alérgenos y tuvimos una gran noche. ¡Gracias de nuevo!

Just been for a girls night out - this restaurant is so good- the staff are so lovely and the food is always so delicious. Even though it is a cold night we had a great night - thanks guys Anchovies, squid and fish and chips yum yum

Food was nice but it took us a while to get our main. It was told on the menu that its a quick/express lunch so we ordered Caesar Salad and Fish finger wrap. Service from our server Jakub Kuzma(name based on receipt) wasn't even great and you can sense from him that he wasn't happy or friendly serving us.

Overly stuffy for a place that had a rave stage on the beach in summer.

Had lunch at Westbeach today and it was lovely, good food, great service and not too pricey. I unfortunately got stung by a wasp whilst sitting outside and the staff were very caring and attentive to me, thank you!

The food was great and the baked goods were all fresh. the croissant would have been better if it was a bit more buttery. The dishes were just the usual breakfast items - nothing special but they were good quality. The staff helpfully changed our eggs to fried rather than poached for us which was lovely. It has a nice location on the beach with a great view.

For me, the food is delicious, although sometimes some items are missing from the menu, apart from the fact that you can't talk much in this restaurant, the rest is ok. Last Sunday there were many items missing from the menu, next time I hope to have lobster

Fabulous staff. Great view, and food. Updating... six of us had another lunchtime visit today. One of our party was v unwell as we arrived. The staff, every single one, were kindness itself. So caring, helpful and genuinely concerned. For an hour or more. All ended fine. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. (always beautifully cooked and served food btw). 👏 🙏

Stopped for lunch on a gorgeous Sunday day and had a delicious lunch. Sat on the terrace in the sun, with the dogs, with wonderful food and great attentive service. And gluten free options all across the menu. Highly recommended.

Disfrutamos de un delicioso almuerzo aquí, con un amigo. Era un día húmedo y borrascoso, pero era un placer sentarse con una vista del mar y disfrutar de fabulosos mariscos. El servicio era inmediato, y nos hicieron sentir como en casa a pesar de que caminamos unos minutos antes de que cerraran. Definitivamente volveré.

This venue is in a great location, but the service was a bit lacking and when I looked at my bill after I'd paid, they charged me 12.5 % service charge !!

Positivos: Admite perros y es de fácil acceso para las personas con discapacidad. No es tan bueno: la comida tardaba años en servirse, y el servicio de los platos que se despejaban entre plato era terrible (45 minutos antes de que tuviéramos nuestro entrante). Mi hijo pidió 1/4 de langosta, pero la mayor parte de la carne faltaba. Tres de nosotros comimos pollo, estaba seco mientras que las verduras eran duras como roca. Nunca he pedido un plato que viene con un jersey de patata media. Pequeñas porciones de comida elegante aspirante, servicio de basura, y tenían un cargo por servicio en la factura de £ 20 + - así que ten cuidado con esto. Todos salimos con hambre.

Un almuerzo muy agradable, pescado sabroso y buen linguini; el ambiente se sintió bien, en particular porque era un día de octubre muy soleado! Volvería otra vez.

Unclean restaurant and rude staff

Really nice food and great service. My poached eggs weren’t runny but the waiter kindly took them back and got me fresh ones and they were brilliant!

Only popped in for a drink on Saturday evening was nice atmosphere and friendly staff will be back for the food!

Asked for an additional empty plate and was refused even though we'd ordered 4 meals. Disappointing customer service.

The beach is okay, but let down by the neglected run down buildings surrounding it.

Dining alone is rare for many people but with a lifetime working in hospitality I am comfortable eating by myself. Thank you to Mark and Jessica who went above and beyond to look after me. Lunch was excellent and I asked for at least a 10 minute gap between courses which was managed well. I ate the breads with seaweed butter, oils and balsamic followed by Minute Steak with fries and white chocolate and passion fruit cheesecake which was a picture on a plate. All delicious!! Washed down with a carafe of Sauvignon Blanc.

I really wouldn't recommend it here. We were waiting 15-20 minutes before our orders were taken. A group of 6-7 came in before us so that must've had an impact but that's on management to hire more. I paid £25 for essentially prawns and chips (They were far from "giant"). The servers were very nice and had a smile on their face which was the only reason we left on the %12.5 service charge (which you can tell them to take off) but after that, we'll never be eating here again which is disappointing to say we live on east cliff. The girl who brought our our food told us she'd be back to check on us after she brought the food but never did, which once again i can put down to understaffing but a manager could've come out and done the check-up. Which tells me they aren't really bothered. This place is ann absolute tourist trap and isn't wortth the hype. A view of the sea with closed of beach seating inbetween.....not worth it.

Enjoyed again, it’s somewhere we always go when visiting Bournemouth. Menu and food both good with prices ok for the area but service didn’t quite lift itself to match the best

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. I stopped for a quick bite and a glass of wine. Placing an order took a while. I then waited a considerable amount of time and then noticed my meal(half lobster) sat under the heat lamp going cold. I still didn’t have my drinks. I noticed a waiter pic the food up and realise I was without drinks and so put the food back down and wandered off. Then the drinks arrived flowed but the luke warm food. All a bit of a shambles. This was all added to by the inappropriate chatter coming from the open kitchen. Overall a messy and unorganised service in a place where I expected better.

Fun and delicious seafood, right on the beach. Enjoyed local Poole oysters - so plump and bring! Also had the roasted hake, very enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Wasn't sure what to from this beach front restaurant, but the food was excellent. We both had fish & chips, the fish was haddock and so fresh it melted in the mouth. The chips which a lot of places don't do well also really lovely. The portion size looked small but was just right in the end. Definitely recommend this place.

Food was really good if a little pricey but you are right on the promenade. The service was excellent. All in a dog friendly environment at the time it started to rain.

Great food but the service was not the friendliest. Felt like we were an inconvenience! Had the catch of the day which was superb. The place wasn’t very full despite being a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was okay not great, which is a shame as the location is fab. Wouldn’t return.

Great location, choice of seating on sand, under shade, sofas and bench-style, fun even when overcast. Friendly staff.

The please is nice but the food, oh my god. It took 40min to make full English breakfast and it was burnt and dry. Don’t recommend

Terrible food no passion in it and plain and boring and tasteless. Jot at all worth the price , they charge more just for being on the beach, but it's so bad . Never go again .

Lovely waitress and great service. My avocado on toast was slightly too sour due to a high amount of lemon and the chilly flakes added quite a lot of spice for an Irish girl to hack! Really nice spot though and would still come again.

Some of the tastiest seafood I've had in a while. Absolutely amazing. Great view of the beach and sea. Top service and great atmosphere. I wanted to order one of everything on the menu, great options. They even got me an affagato which wasn't listed on the menu.

They forgot our mains and it took a lot longer to serve. A mistake that the assistant manager rectified immediately, he was very professional. Had the mussels and the sea-bass. The food was excellent, the service overall fantastic 👍

Tasty! And fulfilling, with great service from Manny. We came from Coventry for a day at the beach. Tried several restaurants around the area, with no luck due to not serving food or being closed. We enjoyed two portions of fish and chips, which was served with tartar or curry sauce and mushy peas. Large latte and coke zero. The restaurant temperature was perfect. Could hear the music outside but not blaring in. Great ambience and much needed dinner. Thank you.

Amazing location and great choice of local seafood! We visited for an early dinner with our 9 year old who enjoyed kids meal. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Very popular place so be prepared, it’s always busy!

Such great service here and so lovely to sit right by the promenade! The coffee was really nice, we’ve had breakfast here in the past and that was great too - definitely recommend this place.

We thought this place might have been overpriced average food due to the beachfront location, but it was amazing quality food and a great location. If you are looking for great food, beach music from the bar opposite, atmosphere, welcoming to families, and overall nice experience, then head here over the cheap but expensive places you typically get in these locations and head here. We had a 2 year old, and they had high chairs, crayons for colouring, and the kids' portions were good size and tasty. Highly recommend if you love seafood.

Service was extremely poor, staff least interested, forgot to provide drinks, when asked for water on a day when the temperature was 30degrees it was completely ignored!

no seafood burgers and pizza they’re selling my simple burger the patty was raw on terrible heat I am on the toilet now on my holiday my wife throw up I was overcharged 16 pounds da for things I didn’t order I payed service charge Evan I needed to order tru the app or to go at the bar where I was overcharged nice music but the services and the food and the menu are from the past terrible I was expecting more I eat every year there this time was the worst instead to go further they destroy the customers holidays o will never go there

Lovely dinner with colleagues, food is very good and service was top.

Visited last year and the food was amazing the best fish and chips. However went back again this year and it was awful. We ordered haddock and chips my fish portion was so tiny half the size of my partners, the batter was also weird and the chips were sparse and really should have said something but I was hoping the lack of size would be made up in taste . We mentioned it to the waiter after when he asked if everything was ok but he just said oh sorry about that and that was it. The table behind ordered the same and had normal proportion fish so I felt really cheated and ripped off sadly will not go back.

This was our second visit after visiting a few years ago. The food was fantastic when it came; however, the "artisan breads" starter was quite overpriced (£7 for a few slices of bread). The service was quite slow which was the same as the previous experience, despite it not being busy at all.

Bloody hell. This place was SO good! We came with our baby and they were ver accommodating. The giant prawns were so fresh - I went with the unlimited marg+prawn deal and was well worth it. My baby had the mussels and my husband had a variety of veggie dishes. Lovely staff, excellent food. Toilets could do with sprucing up but I guess it kinda fits with the whole beachfront vibe. Lovely place and would come again.
