Food was poor, chips (fries) oil needed changing and left a bad taste. My main issue was the very rude woman serving at the grill and her attitude when I asked if there were toilets. She was so rude and said public toilets only. I didn't have a problem with that but asked where they were and she again rudely said 15 meters that way or that way. As no facilities are provided by the Beach House, I dont think its too much to expect to be told where the nearest toilets are - and if it is too much bother then put up a sign. Will not return. High prices and poor food.

Delicious lunch of plaice goujons and fries for the two of us this week. Bearing in mind the amazing location, we thought the £12 cost good value too. Unlike our small plastic glasses of wine: £8 each. Without exception, the staff were friendly, helpful and informally friendly, and the place was buzzing and busy. Service was great. There's a decent choice of food, including burgers, paninis and delicious fresh-cooked pizzas. (The latter weren't available the day we visited, but as long as there's one thing on the menu I like, that's ok! Happily, I was spoilt for choice.) Meals are complemented by a full bar, open-air and inside seating, waterside tables, and a chilled vibe. Loved it, as ever. Breakfasts until 11.30, coffees, teas etc. Toilets are 1min stroll away, the lovely Mudeford Ferry costs adults £3.50 each way, (wonderful to have you back guys!), or stroll 40mins from Hengistbury Head car park / take the land train if it's operating. (Dogs on leads when walking near the very sensitive, signed, local widlife habitats.) We visit this super beach destination and eat here a few times each year.

We stayed four days & nights in a hut on Mudeford spit, and although we had some food with us, relied on the Beach House for our main meals. I truly wish we hadn't. Our guests first night ate pizza from the beach house and were violently ill that night and following day. £60 for 4 horrible pizzas. Day two, we caught the ferry and ate in the Noisy Lobster in the afternoon, much more reasonably priced, and much better quality. Nervously we tried again 3rd day with a breakfast roll. Utter greasy crap, not good at all, in fact you couldn't tell what was bacon or sausage as they tasted the same. £9 each. Not worth even £5. The beach house has a captive audience and robs them for very poor quality food. The idea of a beach Shack is good, but they really need to up their game. Will never eat there again. Spoilt an otherwise lovely holiday.

Incorrect Allergen information across majority of Grill menu. Menu claimed GFO on many items that were not gluten free adaptable. Went with family with food intolerances and ordered a gluten free burger as advertised. We then asked, after being served the food and sitting down with it, which one was gluten free only to be told that only the bap was and both patties have gluten. Speaking to other friends who have been here, this has been an issue for at least a year after concerns being raised as to the lack of clarity/mistakes on the menu. As this has been raised multiple times and no change has occurred, concerns as to how seriously allergens and food safety are taken here are rising Please look into having up to date information and more knowledgeable and engaged staff. This is a tragedy and a law suit waiting to happen and we were lucky to have double checked after.

I should've taken a photo of the food but was being a typical British passive aggressive under my breath winge bag (as I had company and didn't want to ruin the lovely day out vibe). We had a facon roll. Dry, tasteless and very salty chopped up nastiness. And before anyone says it, no not all vegan food is like that. 😂 No spread, tomato or lettuce etc. £6.25 each! Disgraceful. Never again The staff surly, structure grubby, reminding me of a dilapidated fairground from my childhood, fast food is of poor quality, tea revolting. The big plus which draws the people is of course the location and that is why the owners make the money. The middle aged blonde woman wearing glasses working at The Beach Grill was incredibly rude and disrespectful to me. I arrived and went straight over there to look at the menu for lunch. I took no longer than a minute and a half to figure out what I was going to eat before she muttered ‘Jesus Christ’ when there was no queue behind me and it wasn’t busy and when I asked why she said that she said she’s closing soon. When placing the order she was also very rude and not at all helpful when answering questions I had about the meal. 15 minutes later after eating our food the stall is still open so I have no idea why she was so disrespectful when all I was doing was working out what I wanted to eat during a 1 and a half minute period. She made me feel very uncomfortable when placing my order and has really put a downer on my day. I’m not one to ever give bad reviews when a server makes a mistake or anything of that nature, however I felt compelled to this time as she was very unprofessional and made the entire experience at The Beach House unenjoyable and uncomfortable.

Utter mess of a mismanaged establishment in such an idyllic location. Everywhere you could see was covered in rubbish, floors, tables and even the seating had old cups and food containers strewn over with rubbish over flowing onto the beach. Serious amount of bird mess. No control of the swarms of clientele and no staff to be seen for any sort of assistance. Lots of people on the bar but none of them doing anything about the growing queue as their conversations are obviously more important. Aggressively rude lady making pizzas and then having to wait 45 minutes for an under-cooked margherita covered in burnt flour. Chicken flatbread and fries below average for the high price and came 30 minutes before the pizza when we wanted to eat together, but the chef was short and told us there's nothing he could do about it now it was ready and walked off. Cutlery, condiments and napkins nowhere to be found despite being sent pillar to post being told where they should be just to discover everything empty which seemed to be an issue for dozens of other diners. Regularly stop off for a morning brew whilst out cycling. Great coffee and great service. Views and location unbeatable. Worth a visit!

Loads of choice to eat here. Main restaurant has nice dishes, but other options outside for a pizza or hot dog. My iced coffee was okay. Service was friendly. Worth the walk. Recommended

Found this place just by chance, lovely walk with the dog passed all the little beach huts and this was at the end, food was lovely I had the fish cake with salad and a side of chips which were so good, and even had a decent rose wine, and a beautiful place to sit for a while, overall a great experience.

The pizza is very good here. The dough is so fresh and soft. Definitely going to go again.

Just a short walk from other Café which charges more than London for a coffee. So worth the walk, the coffee is great they also sell soft ice cream, home made cakes and have a large food menu breakfast, sandwiches etc. and a great view.

Fab location and venue right on the beach. Food average and prices on high side. No service. Collect yourself. Would recommend though if walking on hengistbury head.

Overly stuffy for a place that had a rave stage on the beach in summer.

First visit and in short would never go back and definitely would not recommend. Incredibly slow service and poorly managed with not enough staff. Food ok although Sushi was all covered in sauce which spoilt it Detail: After 40 minute wait we chased up our drinks and the fact we still hadn’t been asked for a food order. Appeared to be 1 person on the bar in the restaurant but couldn’t make any drinks instead transferring the order to the 1812 bar next door with long delays. Around 20 mins wait second order of drinks when there were zero other customers in the restaurant and not many in the main bar and first round had been dry for a while. Didn’t bother with anymore. Came across as same bar guy making up the sushi whilst 1 chef doing hot food. That was another 40-60 min wait for food after the drinks wait. Very poorly organised and not fair on the skeleton shift of staff that were there. No expectations set on wait time. Menu looked good with loads of things I’d have liked to eat and tapas options like the bao buns were nice, calamari and Korean chicken also good but very salty. Sushi we went for the platter which was £30 a head and smothered in sauce which actually borderline ruined it - every single sushi piece on the platter has sauce and made it heavy. Should have been maybe one row max. Optional extra sauce on side. So bad would have to say on service to avoid altogether.

Me rindo. Parece que solo puede molestarse en aparecer si tiene muchas reservas, y no te llama para decirte que no puede molestarse en abrir para tu comida reservada. Dos de cada 4 no es suficiente. No volveremos a ir allí. No es así como trata a sus clientes cuando han reservado previamente. . Vergonzoso.
