Had reserved a table. Took manager 10 minutes to seat the 2 groups in front, no urgency. When he got to us, he stopped and had a go at a server and told them to take a tables order. Then complines to us about the staff and moaned he canât look after every table. Only 1 staff member had a name badge so you canât even pick out staff. Server for drinks was great and upbeat. Sang our drinks order to us and interacted with our son. Two pizzas and and kids meal took 55 minutes to be served and pizzas was just warm enough to eat, so must have been sitting for a while. On that time we saw the manager look disinterested in customers speaking to him, he mumbled about things as we walked about and staff were at each other about wrong orders. After our main, 25 minutes before a server spoke to us. And that was after we waved down, or tried to, 4 severers. They even looks at us a bit itâs like they are in autopilot. And more worried about clearing tables to get more customers in. Then they have the cheek to add 10% on the bill for a service charge. Even when we challenged staff about our wait and no one stopping, they were abrupt about it. First poor experience in a Toni Macaroni, probably stems from the toxic attitude of the manager.

I had a lovely dining experience at The Ivy. I ordered the fish & chips â it was absolutely delicious, crispy on the outside and tender inside, one of the best Iâve had! The atmosphere was beautiful and elegant, perfect for a relaxed meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole evening feel special. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy great food and a refined yet cozy setting. Iâll definitely be back!

This was the first place to eat we found after walking up the hill from the abbey car park. The menu was reasonable and it was busy and the staff friendly. I had chicken goujons and chips which was very generous and large, and my husband had fish and chips - also reasonably sized. There is a small car park a little nearer by the town hall.

First time visiting today after a bit of shopping at the nearby shops. I must say we were very impressed from start to finish. Clear social distancing guidelines set out and staff looked on top form, especially the girl Shanna who looked after us. She was very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a pleasurable experience. Food was tasty and portion sizes were spot on. We look forward to visiting again.

A very bland and mediocre offering. Macaroni and Cheese that tasted like it came out of a packet. Tandoori chicken that was just sickly and a dessert that was dense and horrible. This hotel is treading water and delivering the bare minimum in a dining room that has absolutely no atmosphere. Sad to see a once nice place deteriorating into being a Bootleg Premier Inn.

Happened upon this hotel on a day trip to Lossiemouth being mainly attracted to its dog friendly sign as we had both our dogs with us. We were seated in the dog friendly dining area and were welcomed by 2 very friendly staff who immediately got a bowl of fresh water for our thirsty dogs. The other key reason for this review was the excellent varied gluten free menu which was great for me, being a coeliac. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. The restaurant began to fill up rapidly as we were eating, prompting the serving ladies to politely inform every prospective diner that there would be a 30min plus wait for food but most opted to wait. We would definitely go back if in the area again. Thank you for a perfect lunchđ
