The company was brilliant thanks the lady on service was very attentive and explained the menu's very well sharer was over priced wrong main was delivered but quickly rectified lasagne was stodgy and very sauce oriented with very little meat content

Dined from the Sunday menu as we were a party of 3. The Sunday menu is great value for money. However, it does restrict your choices slightly, and if you'd like extras, you do need to pay extra. I've dined and taken away food from this location on many occasions and have found that it can be a hit or miss depending on the day. The presentation of some dishes were quite lack lustre, and we found that they've cut back on portions and quantity of ingredients on the plate, eg, no side salad garnish and shrinking the sizes of elements of dishes. We also found that dishes have been on the blander side, which is alright since you can add your own seasoning. However, I'd prefer if the dishes were already seasoned well before serving, but this is just me being picky. Recently, the prices have gone up, but again, quantity and quality seem to have dipped slightly in recent times. The staff were, however, kind and welcoming, and the restaurant had a good vibrant and atmosphere, it was pretty busy, but we were able to get seated no problem without a reservation.

We ordered cheese pizza and the whole family had stomach aches all night.

Took about 30 mins to come take our drinks order after sitting us down. Also had to ask to change tables as there are ALOT of fruit flies hoovering about. Did help once moved but still had to swipe away a few every so often. There inferno sauce was nothing apart from a thick sundried tomato sauce with olives mixed threw it!!! Like what the hell is that? Why has a hot sauce got olives in it?? No table check back so couldn't ask for an alternative. Overall the meal was okay.. Wouldn't hurry back tho

Left hanging for too long waiting to be seated with no acknowledgement. Finally approached by a man who clearly couldn't be bothered to be there to be told it would be a half an hour wait for a table - the place was empty. Went over to the Outlets for food instead.

Had delivery of 2 pizzas and garlic chips absolutely disgusting chips were hard and half cooked. Pizzas were greasy at base and box was also greasy.absolute disgrace.think you're so called dedicated Italian chefs need retrained. Never ever again

I haven’t been to Tony macaroni in a long time so was excited to go back as I always loved the food here and was never disappointed. I ordered pesto pasta with a crispy chicken breast. It didn’t look the same as before and I have ordered this dish a few times in the past, it looked and tasted quite oily. Soon after we got the bill and I felt awful, we left and I got in the car and had to get my friend to pull over as I was violently sick! Will never get this dish again and I will think twice now about going back. It’s definitely went down hill since my last visit.

This place has gone downhill rapidly. Food tasteless. Service was poor, had to chase down staff on 3 different occasions. Food under tables and dirty cutlery and glassware. Used to be a good spot in Livingston,not any more. Complacency?

Been to numerous Tony Macaroni's in Scotland but this has to be the worst one, where do we start, staff are unwelcoming and unfriendly with an absolute stinking attitude, the girl who served us rolled her eyes couple of times, when taking our order, she definitely shouldn't be in the public sector, weird though cause she acted differently to other customers, food was average at best, chicken strips were more batter than chicken and bland, along with a couple of pieces of old watercress or whatever, seat was broken that sitting on, when informed waitress she done nothing, correct thing would be offer to move us but nope, burger tasted burnt rather than flame grilled and to top off the excellent service the guy didn't even return with change when says would, it wasn't much but its principal considering they already charge you £10 service charge, I find this rude and unacceptable, 100% would not go back anytime soon especially after spending nearly £100 for dinner 👎

Delicious food. If you arrive a little earlier you get a discount on the main course.

Meal for family of 5. Delicious. No complaints. Service was good. Recommended if your in livingston and wanting something decent to eat thats not fast food.

the food came really quickly, however the food portions have become really small for the amount you pay and unfortunately my order was very bland and greasy on this occasion. I'm usually always really pleased with the quality of the food but this time I wouldn't rate it.

Ordered penne polo picante and Mac cheese at 15.40 courier on way at 15.50 delivery arrived 15.55 ! That was my concerns raised immediately, worst takeaway I’ve ever had penne DRENCHED in oil and cheese sauce so runny it didn’t even stick to the pasta , I’ve had better pasta from chippies never mind an Italian restaurant, the chips and garlic bread were fine though , a waste of £35 but at least the birds 🦅 enjoyed it ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING

I went out for dinner last night and got the lasagne, then spent then rest of the night with food poisoning. I hadn’t eaten anything else since the morning so I’m certain it was the food here that was off. The lasagne itself was pretty bland, so it’s safe to say I won’t be returning again.

Came in for a drink while waiting to check into the travel lodge. Initially did not get a warm welcome when the server found out we were just in for drinks just pointed over there and walked off quickly as possible. Took a while to be served drinks and staff didn’t seem to know or want to help at all, asked what wine they recommended “I don’t really know, probably this one” When asked about gluten free options for dinner that evening the server who I assume must have been bar staff just shrugged I don’t know pasta definitely but ask the server, you’d go find out surely or send food staff over to discuss? Table was sticky too. Didn’t go back for food and wouldn’t recommend.

First impressions when we went in met with a very frosty man told can’t sit here seating over there drinks only . Was going to come back for food asked about gluten free options told could get pasta and I asked if we could get pizza to be told don’t know check with your server . Staff did not look happy at all. Could not wait to leave not happy at all .

Tasty pizza as always, and delivered very quickly. However this is the second time that my order has been delivered incorrectly - wrong topping on one pizza. Decided not to contact restaurant but sure they would have sorted it.

Ordered from here for the second time and for the second time over 30odd pounds spent to receive dry pasta with little to no sauce even after writing in the bit to ask them to make sure it’s saucy not sure I’ll order again if I do it certainly won’t be pasta doesn’t even feel like the same restaurant I attend seriously big let down for my dinner tonight so sad

Tasteless and cold, extremely disappointing. The pasta tasted of pasta, with an oily texture, it was spicy but tasteless. Unappealing salad, at least the 4 slices of tomato were tasty. The garlic bruschetta was inedible, so tough and chewy.

Stomach ache for 2 days after the pasta carbonara. Nothing to add here.

Amazing food, good service and fab atmosphere.

Staff were friendly and attentive but we were packed into a busy area with booths even though the rest of the place was pretty empty. Because the booth seats are back to back, you feel like you're being punched any time your neighbour moves. They had run out of bottles of coke and didn't tell us until after we were waiting for the drinks and food to arrive. Normally in this restaurant, the half rack of ribs is a decent size, but today the ribs were tiny. Don't know if they accidentally gave us a starter portion or if that is normal now but we ordered the full price one.

When we entered we were promptly taken to a table and it felt quite secluded which was good however the lighting was too dim and it was a bit hard to read the menu. We order garlic bread for starters and it was excellent however for our main courses we ordered a type off chicken which didn’t specify on the menu there was pesto on it, which was horrible because my boyfriend, Wayne is allergic, so he could of died if I didn’t notice it first. Apart from this mishap this restaurant is a delicacy and I totally recommend but their menu could be a bit more clearer. ☺️🐓

Very disappointing. Only A la Carte menu on Saturday all day. £33 for 2 mains and 2 soft drinks! £7.95 for a toddler,which would have done for me! She was also given her apple juice in a glass full to the brim! Fine for 6years+... Not impressed. My daughter said her main course was not nice and left it. Mine was way too much for lunchtime so I took it home. No wonder it was half empty. Overpriced and gone downhill

That was the worst pasta I’ve ever had. Wouldn’t feed it to a dog. Watery and flavourless. Usually get this in the restaurant and it’s always good but the same effort was not applied today. How is a pesto pasta white? Very disappointed

I don’t think I will be ordering from Toni Macaroni again. I ordered the bruschetta and it didn’t taste right. It was extremely soggy and all turned to mush. The arancini had a lovey outer coating but the mince inside was rubbery and almost tasted sweet. It’s probably just personal preference as this is the first time I’ve ever tried this restaurant. It just wasn’t enjoyable.

The pancetta is missing from my carbonara, food is tasteless and the only flavour is overwhelming garlic powder

A long way from fine dining; it is a pile them high, sell it cheap place. But with that in mind, it's good value, Sunday special offer is especially good, 2 mains, 2 drinks and service under £28 and its better than okay, would go again for a quick meal on the go.

It would’ve been 5⭐️if they didn’t force the 10% service charge on your bill!Although we paid it I don’t think they should be adding ir on the bill as maybe all customers didn’t have a good experience or enjoy the food so shouldn’t have to be leaving that much of a tip, I work with the public myself & it’s up to the customer how much of a tip they would like or afford to leave!!! We went on Friday night for my sons birthday, as a table of 7 everyone enjoyed the food they ordered, our waitress was very good in helping me choose out something I would like & added extra chillies to make it more to my taste! The cocktails are delicious 😋! Didn’t have to wait to long on drinks or Food coming!

Both pasta dishes which were carbonara & penne pollo pesto pasta, were absolutely disgusting, ham in carbonara was blue and chewy, no taste whatsoever so ever, pasta was far too over cooked, every time we have a delivery it seems the dishes are not the same when you come into the restaurant. Dissapointed.

Delivery took ages and the Macaroni cheese was the worst I’ve ever had… It had no cheese.. What I got was more like pasta in a tray of milk. The pizza was average.

Ordered the BBQ Pulled pork burger, it came without the Pulled pork. so was essentially just a Cheeseburger with BBQ sauce. really disappointed as the food it usually good.

Only my 2nd time visiting a tony macaroni and very much the same both times. Quite disappointing. The first waiter was great, brought crayons over for the kids and offered some blank paper to draw on. They have no physical kids menus, but we can scan a qr code to view them on our phones. The grandparents would not be impressed by this. The table was very loose and moved a lot. The combination of the background noise and the waitress whispering made me order completely the wrong thing (which was nice), but not what I wanted. We ordered from the Sunday menu (which was given to us) but had to query the bill at the end as they weren’t the Sunday prices. Which was then disputed, so I had to show the waitress the items on the Sunday menu. The 10% service charge which is forced on you is comical, they state that their team work really hard. If you think they work so hard, why don’t you pay them more? I work really hard in my job, but my customers aren’t forced to add extra to their bill. The look of disgust on the waitresses face when I asked for it to be removed was impressive! She then didn’t come back or speak to us after the card machine was practically jabbed into my face! We would have probably left a small tip ourselves had the idea not be forced upon us. The quality of the food is very average. The prices aren’t high so can’t moan at that. I can’t see myself every going back, and I am really not surprised they are closing so many of their restaurants.

Went in for breakfast at 9 am when it opens, after waiting 15 minutes for a member of staff to greet us, no one was around. I walked around to find a staff member, but no one could be found, so we left and found somewhere else

Big portions but that’s the nicest thing about the food, none of our party of 6 had much appetite for finishing. Servers were nice, and you can have a chat in the venue, but parking was difficult (it wasn’t too busy but there weren’t enough spaces). We left prior to deserts and got desert from the local Morrisons!

Food was great, portion sizes were great. Only thing I’d have loved was a little bit more sauce in the carbonara (which my partner said the same) but overall really nice. I’d recommend updating customers or giving an option for your restaurant to update as to where in the process you are for delivering as it would say that the food was on way when it wasn’t and was delivered when it was still sat in the restaurant. Totally get these things happen but was just really confusing at the time!

I've ordered multiple times and it's always come almost too hot to hold which is great. Pesto and Pizza were great however the risotto was almost too salty.

Had a really bad lunch last Sunday! I took my husband for his birthday lunch and was so dissapointed with the food. I ordered the arichinni carne but got the cheese one, tried eating it but it was bad. For main I ordered the Sea Bass as it is the only fish I eat and when I tasted it, it was definately not Sea Bass, the veg had obviously been reheated several times so I could not eat it. I then ordered hot choc fudge sundae and the hot choc sauce had to be sent back as it was cold, tried to finish it but just didn't taste right. The staff however were lovely, very helpful and very attentive. However as this is not the first time I have been dissapointed with this restraunt I will never be back, even though it is right on our doorstop!! Avoid Avoid!!!

As a vegetarian, I always enjoyed eating at Tony Macaroni's whenever I've visited Livingston , but as a vegan, I had avoided it, since nothing on the menu seemed suitable. However, finally enquiring as to whether a vegan meal could be provided, I was pleasantly surprised to be told that I would be catered for. And I wasn't disappointed. A starter and mains from the menu, adapted to be vegan. As always generously sized portions and delicious, both for myself and my non vegan companions. Unfortunately, no room left to see if any desserts could be adapted. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience for us all. Edit 2024: there are now a few vegan options on the menu. Food is, as always, delicious.

Tuesday night. Just a fancied a quick bite. Calamari, Fuoko pizza and sticky toffee sundae. All went down a treat.

Portion sizes were great and the option to take any leftovers home was available if you do not finish. Food took a while to arrive however was worth the wait when it did finally arrive. Would recommend.

The menu is quite large, but it meant there was a lot of variety, great for the teenagers with different tastes! Staff were helpful and friendly!

Love Tony macaronis always get the same thing but my pasta came today and it was nothing like in the restaurant there was no sauce whatsoever never had a dryer pasta in my life 😕

Our order is 30mins late and counting! Our toddler is currently having toast for dinner because it’s now nearly his bedtime!! Have spoke to the restaurant only to be told it’s out with “3deliveries, don’t worry” then hung up on!!! Terrible service

It was the first time we had ordered a delivery from Tony Macaroni. The food was delicious and fresh and still hot. Would recommend to anyone the arrancini, carbonara and linguine.

Booked for a birthday meal. We were seated quickly and then everything went downhill. Food was OK however staff disappeared after and left us over an hour before we had to go get them to serve us again. We were provided with dirty cutlery so had to find a staff member to raise this with and it took over an hour from main course to be served again for desserts. At no point were we offered more drinks or checked on to see if food was OK. Desserts were filled with bitter melon and very unpleasant and needless to say we won't be returning. Ps car park was full of work vans meaning very limited parking available.

Food was cold and rock solid. That’s twice we’ve ordered and it’s not been up to standard, will not be ordering again.

Poor greetings, no welcome took us to a table then walked away, waitress was amazing but never introduced herself, atmosphere was bad as little kids running freely around the restaurant ( felt like we where at McDonald's), did complain about cheese burger as it was very dry and they did agree and removed it from the bill, will we be back ,maybe.
