Chilli Flames Livingston in West Lothian

Ordered food at 7pm for delivery. It's now 9.30pm and nothing. They said it's being prepared. Not good enough. Don't accept orders of you are unable to deliver. Kids have now had to go to bed. No idea if this will ever arrive. Will be visiting tomorrow about this

Middle of a weekday so that would explain the lack of atmosphere. However, the staff could smile a bit more and be more welcoming. Food was great, thank you.

Sad to have to leave a review like this as absolutely love the food, always spot on. But I’ve had the most rude delivery driver tonight. It’s not putting me off but didn’t sit right with me the attitude he had. Hopefully I get a more pleasant driver next time!

Ordered a burrito 🌯 and it was very tasty. The grilled chicken was juicy, the rice was fragrant, the peppers and onions popped. Service was great, nice and fast. A good job well done 👍

Ordered first time. Said online "order arrive in 25min", after an hour food arrived. Everything was ice-cold. Son ordered flamin trio and received a doner with chips. German doner disappointing, meet was overcooked and cold. Portions are very small for the price. A no no for us, not ordering again.

Nice wee place in for lunch served quick waited a small time ordered borito and fries over £10 for order was good nice flavour did enjoy it and would use them again for some lunch! Overall 4.5*

There is no free dip. & if you buy any dip all dips are alike. Burger taste was not good. It was not fresh as well.

Very very expensive £10 a meal 😬😬😬😬😳 Should be about £7. If you get a coke for £1pm Fries for 1.99 maximum then it means you are paying £7 just a burger by itself. It's not a meal deal. It's all shocking.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS TAKE AWAY It might be the only halal takeaway here but it's horrible the pricing is so bad it's 35p for 5 small pieces of jalapenos and me and my friend went to get a munch box all we got was 3 small pieces of chicken 3 cheap cheese jalapeno ball things soggy chips and chicken a thin piece of chicken inside to buns and is called a "chicken burger" they were all horrible and the chicken pieces tasted like they were from the freezer since 2021 (bought this in 2024) all of this was £13 but in another place I went to I got 10x more than this and way better and it was only £10 ALSO the burger hardly had any lettuce and they are very stingy with the tissues (gave us 1 tissue and there were 2 people) THATS ABOUT THE FOOD The staff didn't let me cancel my order for the jalapenos and garlic sauce and they were rude the staff with long hair weren't Tying their hair and when I had my chips there were 2 strands of hair in it so I threw the rest of it out and left the hair in it to show. The atmosphere was fine but it's just about and quality and atrocious price of the food

Came here to grab dinner with my husband and toddler, Google said they closed at 10pm, great we arrived at 9:38pm. They turned us away saying they can't take our order and refused to give us service leaving my toddler crying because she couldn't get her burger. She had had a long day and we were all very hungry. They should not list they close at 10pm when they refuse to take your orders before that time.

The order took 2hrs to be delivered. When I contacted the shop twice, all they said was that it was in its way. There was no apology. The food was cold and tasteless by the time it came.

Lovely food options from burgers, pizza, rolls and Doner. Love their picante roll and burger.

Usually order for collection but decided to get a delivery instead. Order was spot on and on time which is a rare thing from takeaways..... The staff are so friendly which makes easier to choose here over other places

Just phoned to put in a collection order, Guy on phone put me on hold for four minutes and then shut the phone on me. I phoned back again and confirmed what had happened, totally ignorant guy says he does not have time for complaints and was insisting on me to order.. never again shall be ordering from here, these guys have attitude problems with paying customers….stay away people…

Ordered 2 hours in advance for a specific time of 7.30pm. Phoned at 7.50pm to be told they're very busy and it would be a further 30-40 mins. That's precisely why my I ordered in advance. Maybe they could plan ahead to have my food delivered on time?

Go for the firehouse grande burger (double Angus beef), medium heat. Best flavour.

Ordered via Deliveroo was due at 17:50 arrived at 18:30, the order was wrong I ordered Lemmon and herb with garlic mayo but got Mexican salad, so I phoned the restaurant to be told it had been delivered and it was the correct order. No apology or offer to exchange. It had been ordered as one was for an elderly person with dietary issues. Will not be ordering from there again.

Dont go to this venue or you will be hit with very high private parking charges nexus company so avoid this place.

Amazing Food, Halal and everything very clean and hygiene.

If you want Donner meat from day before then this is the place to come to. Donner was old, chewy and cold. Told the guy behind the counter and arrogantly replied back saying can you not see its fresh Donner of the machine. Charged me £18 for Donner meat and this is what you get. You rather stay away then paying £18 for Donner that is old, chewy & cold and people who dont value you as customers. Left the place still hungry as it was uneatable.

These guys are a joke. I went inside filled in the car park screen. After a week or so got a fine. I paid by card so i rang them up they said they will sort it out but they did nothing. Rang them again were very rude. Stay well away

The friendly service here is the first thing that stands out. Then the food... I tried the original doner tonight and was impressed with it! The bread had the slightest crisp on the outside but was soft and fluffy inside. The meat was quite thickly cut (which I wouldn't normally like) but it was really well cooked and I really enjoyed it. Good meaty taste. Family had a peri burger and a burrito. We all had wedges. Again perfectly cooked. Clean plates all round. Will definitely be back!

Visited this place while shopping at the outlet next to it on the recommendation of someone. The restaurant is 100% Halal The owner is nice and friendly. I placed an order and paid via card. Was served fresh chicken that was extremely delicious, so I absolutely loved the food. Keeping the portion size in mind, their prices are also reasonable.

Pathetic service, I ordered a burger at 21:09 from delivaroo and got the confirmation that the restaurant has accepted your order which will be delivered by 21:40. However, after waiting more than an hour at 22:45, the restaurant said we never got the order. Later the guy on call just gave a lame reason saying we do not take delivaroo order after 21:30, contact delivaroo and get the refund. So never order from this restaurant if you want something for dinner.

Wedges, wings , Burger was really nice , flamin panini was dry . Didn’t order slush at time asked a few mins later it was £2 more expensive 🥲

Driver couldn't find house despite the instructions provided. Eventually got in touch with them after 2 hours when they promised they'd cook a fresh order and then redeliver. They eventually delivered but it was the original order i.e. 2.5 hours cold. No option for refunds so I wouldn't use then again

Wow, lovely food. Amazing staff so friendly, very clean place. I will definitely go back again and strongly recommend it.

I went in and ordered. Staff were nice enough. Good price. But as I got in I was greeted with around 20 Muslims all giving me dirty looks. They were talking about us in their language looking over I felt disrespected and uncomfortable eating in a restaurant in my own hometown. I have never been made to feel like this in my own country and I wouldn’t recommend going there quite horrible to be honest.

I always love going to flames as they have top tier quality of food, the portion sizes are in comparison to other places is amazing and the price for what you’re getting is amazing. One of my favourite places to eat in Livingston!

So glad to find this store while we’re in Livingston Designer Outlet. This outlet give us another halal option other than the Chopstix. It serves good chicken like Nando’s or Pepe’s. The taste quite good and match the price.

A really nice restaurant. If you want something tasty, and quicker than say nandos then this is the one. The chicken is great, the peri chips are to die for. If you are in the area recommended.

Was looking forward to this, new clean looking restaurant. Ordered flame wrap and Mexicano burger with chips. Chips were unseasoned even though I requested peri fries, and tasted very oily. Wrap was nice but very small, the burger arrived in nice box but the best thing was unfortunately the Floured bun, chicken was small piece dwarfed by the bun and cold and very rough to eat, probably as it was made much earlier than the wrap and sat under heat lamp. I waited near 20 minutes for my meal and was really rooting for this place but it didn't live up to expectations.

Good is outstanding and reasonably priced

Good place to eat out and staff members were really good. My mises can eat only gluten free stuff so the guy made her beef burger without the baap and along with the delicious salad which she loved it. Kids liked the food and it's halal also.

It was lovely we had a lovely meal at the chilli flames.

I ordered over the counter 2 burger meals which took well over 30 minutes to get to me, I asked for no cheese or mayonnaise on both burgers but one of them had both! Chips were cold and I had to watch several people come into the restaurant after me and receive their meals before me! I've had good service from this place before very disappointed

Spent £71.50 as we was in the area shopping with our guests and thought chilli flames would not let us down, embarrassingly they forgot 1 wrap, couple of sides and mix up of burgers. This was very annoying as we came prepared to till with the order written down to make easy for Employers but it seems like they all have lack of brain cells. I’m never one to complain about food but come on to heck, Amateurs

Had a meal tonight from chilli flames and it was amazing. The loaded fries are beautiful, my husband had the beef jalapeño burger and said it was the best burger he has had. Will definitely be using chilli flames more often. The staff were so friendly, I think they will do really well in Livingston.

Had a bbq wrap and it was lovley heard the loaded fries are good so will be back to taste them soon! staff work grate considering the pandemic we are in and should all be proud of themselves.

Quality of food is good and the service was previously outstanding however the incompetence of new staff is astonishing. My order is wrong on multiple occasions and undoubtedly ruins what little time we have for lunch. Order with caution.

Passed today and thought I’d try this. Ordered the naan bread chicken kebab and due to the amount of sauce mixed in and how it was “wrapped”, the naan bread crumbled and literally tried to eat it like a mushy bread and chicken. I might order a burger next time and try again.

Great food but order messed up...AGAIN! Last time ordered online and requested a plain burger...it came with salad and mayo. This time, I went to the store to order and specifically asked for no mayo, no sauce and no salad on two burgers. From the outset, no salad on the burgers, but once we opened them at home, there was sauce and mayo. It should not be that difficult to order a plain burger with cheese. Again, this could have been an allergy and after asking a number of times when ordering and then being told that it is plain, there was mayo and sauce added. Food was nice and tasty (though the burgers got a right thumbs down from the kids). Not a difficult thing to master and they can get it right...Maybe third time lucky!

Placed an order for collection via phone, requested the Flames Homemade burger with Lamb, staff member told me that burger is beef only, i told him that i was looking at the menu and it states beef or lamb. Staff member got a little annoyed and said "right i'll get a menu right now and show you". Once returned to the phone and read the menu, staff member abruptly says well we don't have any lamb. May be an idea to change the menu, as this is the second occasion i have tried to order this burger as lamb and was told last time they had no lamb. Also may be an idea to train staff on: 1: The menu they are serving. 2: Customer service. Rest of order was placed with no further issues. Food was ready upon pick up time. Food was ok, wedges were very nice!

Loved the food it’s clean and the staff are for and attentive, professional on the phone unlike some take away places you feel rushed and some can be abrupt. Placed my first order on Friday and very helpful and informative on the options available. Will definitely be back !

Great place a massive improvement on what was there before. I had a mild burger and fries and I dropped off some lemon n herb strips with piri-piri chips. Decent feed All round.
