Fund raiser. Great food. Attentive staff. Children very welcome.

Evening food was excellent value for money. Ate twice in a week, bar area only so I can't comment on restaurant. Highlight was the chicken sharer and side salad, great taste and quality. Very busy but servers quick to clean up, remove plates and bring additional condiments. Breakfast was OK but as usual most items are cooked and left to warm for orders. I really didn't like the bacon but this is usual for me in this setting. Great to see option of bubble and squeak. All in I'd recommend.

Very disappointed to be told that our elderly dog couldn't come in despite having agreed this on booking.

Live sky sports, dog friendly (but controlled) good pub vibe section off the restaurant and great selection of food and drink. Staff are brilliant.

The macaroni and loaded fries were absolutely disgusting. There was about 12 chips supposed to have cheese and bacon on them. Didn’t think you could go wrong with those choices. But you obviously can. Weren’t cheap either. Awful food. Wouldn’t even give it a 1 for food

We had sunday lunch, which was disappointing. Soggy pastry ,dried up roast potatoes and macaroni, which was a bit too al dente

Popped in as staying in Dundee. Enjoyed the steak pie and the onion loaf was delicious.

Every time we come here the staff and food are excellent! Efficient and friendly service even for large parties (orders taken in advance). We will continue to come back!

The Belltree Pub and Grill offers a cozy atmosphere, but the food falls short. Dishes lack flavor and freshness, with overcooked mains and underwhelming sides. Service is decent, but the below-average food doesn't justify the price. Disappointing food overall but the service is very good.

Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, very attentive, food great!! Came in one day just to chill and watch the football, very busy day but you could hear praise from various families having their meals. Senior members of staff going above and beyond to also help new employees which was good to see as a customer knowing top service was passed on to new members of staff. Brilliant

Lovely pub, we where staying next door and first night it was fully booked. Food was lovely and enjoyed a nice breakfast in the morning. Very busy so I would book.

Staying at the Premier Inn next door we popped in chancing our luck for a table for dinner. Staff were great and sorted a table quickly. Food was good, staff were amazing and it was reasonably priced. Breakfast the next morning, cereal and fruit was on a table but hot food had to be ordered. I'm sure the menu said it was unlimited but I may have got that wrong as only one of each item that you asked for on the plate. My wife had more items as I didn't like some of them but no additional items were on my plate so I paid the same price for a lot less food. At no time did staff come near to ask if we wanted more. Would I go back? If I was in the area then yes for dinner but the breakfast wasn't worth it

I've been here a lot of late and I can say that everything I eat here, I am not disappointed. The food quality is good, the staff are quite attentive, which makes life easier and makes it more welcoming overall. I do recommend the Bell Tree, and it also has a blue light discount here as well.

This has quickly became our local, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, led by Holly the GM! The food is always really good, so much so that me and my partner have booked for Christmas! The interior is cosy but modern and always spotlessly clean despite how busy they can be at time! A real gem of a place! Keep it up folks!

Our extended family of 3 adults, a 9 year old and 7 year old enjoyed lunch here one Friday in July. One of the group is a wheelchair user and lives in a near by care home but we didn't have to call to book and let them know as the Green King app has a brilliant reservation system that allows you to alert the restaurant of wheelchair users, request high chairs etc. You can even use the app to order in the restaurant but we chose not to in this occasion. The restaurant decor and staff are excellent making it a pleasant place to eat. The menu is extensive and we opted for the lunch menu and chose salmon, fish n chips and the mini grill. The kids chose the chicken nuggets and flatbread. All meals piping hot and delicious. Overall, a great dining experience and value for money. Enjoy.

Great friendly pub with good drink choice.

What a lovely restaurant. Nice choice of foods, although I'd like to see more variety regarding the desserts. You can only have so much chocolate. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. You would be sensible to book in advance for the weekend. They do online booking which worked well for us. You have to try the Steak Balmoral - omg just the best steak EVER! The staff who deal with breakfasts are lovely and work really hard. They were so welcoming. They showed so much interest in our plans for the day and came up with some interesting suggestions. So appreciated.

Ate here with the family. It was a Saturday afternoon so was busy. We booked in advance. Ordering for 4 adults any 2 children, only children had sweets. Bill came to £173. I didn't think this was too bad. The starters were I thought good. Though my wife had the calamari and said it was limp. The chicken wings were nice and crispy. No grumbles about haggis bites. However, the mains was a disappointment. I had the haddock and chips. The moment it arrived I knew it was pre frozen. The chips were nothing to write home about. There were grumbles about the medium rare steaks. Unfortunately there is no children play areas. Will likely not go again.

Nice wee place, absolutely STELLAR cheeseburgers

Been a few times for lunch / Tea and every meal was spot on , so I thought I would try breakfast, service great as usual but the food was horrendous, lorne and bacon poor quality , tinned mushrooms, potato scone was very undercooked, the haggis was hidden under the egg thankfully, tomato was poor and no choice of white bread for toast , on a plus side the fried egg was good , Definitely need to up your game on the breakfast

I had been recommended to visit. Very busy though well managed. High standard of food with actual delicious flavours. Staff were very helpful, there was a small issue, it was immediately resolved by the assistant manager with smiles. Loved the atmosphere as it had a great vibe and ambience, we felt very comfortable and enjoyed all. Will return.

Arrived just after 10 p.m. having just driven from Cairnryan ferry port. Ordered two drinks and enquired about food but advised kitchen just closed. Asked if we could get some chips at local chipper and eat them there as the bar was virtually empty, and mistakenly thought we got an affirmative reply. Well we were wrong but then advised you can't eat them outside either on their deserted wooden benches. We'll bingo for friendliness and hospitality on our first Scotish encounter.

Came in here for a drink & meeting. Only had a can of coke, £3.65!? I questioned this and was told it wasn’t a mistake. You cant charge £3.65 for a can of coke. That just isn’t okay. Unsure what the food is like but i don’t think i want to. That is beyond outrageous.

The restaurant was pretty full, so the service was a little slow. The server was super polite and apologised. The food was fantastic when it came out. My daughter has allergies, and they made sure her order was made to accommodate her, even cooking one menu item different from how it was listed. 5 different meals were ordered, and 5 clean plates went back. That shows just how good the food was.

Not a pleasant place to visit on a Friday night. Filled with loud groups of mildly drunk blokes, and the barman was the grumpies, untidiest, slowest thing on the planet. I'm sure I saw a snail overtake hiim in the car-park later on. Update: may 2024. A quick after-work visit on a Thursday evening. The service was weird and amateurish (e.g. the waitress asked if she could get us anything else while I was paying the bill 🤒). The menu was large but completely uninspiring and the food its self was almost undescribably bland. I can't think of any reason to return.

Brilliant rustic, cosy pub and restaurant. Have been going here for years although don’t manage to get in regularly because it’s a bit out of the way. Stopped today for lunch and had a delicious meal. I started with squid while my partner had the bang bang cauliflower. Squid was excellent with the most delicious sauce and my girlfriend’s cauliflower was also fantastic, almost resembling vegetable pakoras. The starters were only 3.49 to add on with the lunch menu. For mains I had the lunch mini grill which came with gammon, chicken, sausage, chips, peas and a tomato. All of it was fantastic although special call out to the gammon steak which was very juicy and tasty. My girlfriend had the chicken and bacon ciabatta which she thoroughly enjoyed. Service was excellent with drinks coming within a minute or two. Food was also served very quickly. We didn’t have our dog with us but the bar part is dog friendly. They also serve pupacinos. Looking forward to my next visit.

I ordered steak pie and chips. What can go wrong? The pie looked good until I cut into it. What flowed out was just gravy, no meat, nothing that could resemble a STEAK PIE. To top that off, I got a wee bowl of....GRAVY. Must have been all you can slurp GRAVY day. It was disgusting. I would have given it minus 10 if I could. Will never be back. A dump

Fabulous only slight down was asked for steak medium rare and it was definitely more rare but still very tasty, wonderful friendly service

I had the Salmon with potatoes and a pint of Estrella Galicia. Prices on the Lunch menu are very reasonable. My Salmon with potatoes and sour cream chive sauce was only £9.49. Staff are friendly also.

Stayed at the premier inn for 3 nights so had breakfast and evening meal here. Cannot thank the staff enough for accommodating my 4 year old food allergies. It can be very challenging eating out with multiple allergies and trusting the venue to take it seriously . The staff here were excellent and my son absolutely loved the food . This made a total difference to our ‘holiday’ The food all round was great and I would definitely recommend and return . Huge thanks to all the staff here . Wonderful

Gorgeous food, shame we didn't manage to eat it all. The portion sizes were huge! Staff are friendly and the service was good. We've eaten here several times when staying at the Premier Inn next door. And to be honest, it's what we look forward to the most.

Helen made us feel very welcome! Wonderful service and would highly recommend! The food was absolutely outstanding and we could have stayed there all night! It honestly felt like a home away from home! Again amazing service from Helen and the rest of the staff! Would give more stars if I could!

Great atmosphere and service from the staff. Food arrived fairly quickly so no issues there. I had a steak which tasted okay, was very chewy at times and I barely tasted any seasoning at all on it, the chips that came with it were pretty standard. With this I had a side of salad which was very poor. The peppers in the salad were soggy and floppy which was just revolting. The lettuce in there was also soggy and none of it tasted or felt fresh what so ever.

I had the salmon for lunch. It was good but the rest of the meal was just boiled potatoes, no other veg, could have done with peas and sweetcorn etc. Too many potatoes.

This Greene King pub is located alongside the Premier Inn East Dundee on the outskirts of the city and provides onsite meals for guests at the latter and others. The interior is tastefully done in a traditional country pub style and although a little noisy at times with groups of people it had a good ambiance in our experience. We used it for a pre-concert snack and some drinks during our stay at the Premier Inn. We were enjoying a drink in the bar and, taking account of our traveling time into the city centre to see a concert, just decided to have their “Chicken Sharer” dish (£12.99) rather than look for somewhere to eat in town. This consisted of a decent plateful with chicken skewers, chicken wings, chicken goujons and chicken strips in assorted flavourings along with fries and a couple of dips. We weren’t mad about the latter but the chicken and chips were filling, tasty and good value for money. It was quite busy and the food took a bit longer than expected to arrive at the table however staff were friendly and when we explained our circumstances they produced the bill very efficiently to get us back on schedule! We were able to pop back in for a nightcap following the concert prior to retiring to our room. Drinks prices: Pint of Best £4.17; G & T £5.95; large glass of wine £6.19 (May 2023). I wouldn’t hesitate to use again in similar circumstances.

We were staying next door as visiting family for Christmas had nothing booked and being Christmas Eve thought highly unlikely we would get a table! However the lovely manager I think called Holly found us a table ( thank you) great food great staff and so reasonably priced Next time we are visiting we will be back as great little pub/restaurant

What an excellent experience my self and our mixed ages family had the pleasure to experience our xmas dinner here it was so friendly and 1st class service from all the staff but I must single out Holly as she was a credit to your company and certainly went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy The food was what we've came to expect which is why we will return nxt xmas day So Holly and her team thank you so much for making our xmas day 2023 a day to remember Bill

We used to come here regularly but had a bad experience twice a few years ago and has never gone back. We decided to give it another chance and so glad we did as we were highly impressed. The restaurant was very busy but we were seated quickly. Lots of serving staff and were very attentive and friendly. We all enjoyed our food which was well presented, very tasty and fresh. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend A++++

Was in today around 6pm to celebrate brothers birthday. Was greeted with a polite service and cosy atmosphere out of the cold. We had a young male server at our table (did not catch his name). He was very friendly and smiley when serving the table. Food was lovely and very quick. Will sure be back! Have a great Xmas BellTree Staff 🎄

A fantastic Greene King pub. The staff are very well informed and friendly. I found them very easy to talk to! We came twice during our stay in the Premier Inn next door - once for lunch, and once for Premier Inn breakfast. Both times, the service was really good, and the staff were helpful. I love the overall atmosphere in the pub; the décor is really cosy. It looks very similar to another Greene King pub I've been in, which led to a real sense of familiarity. Overall a great pub. :)

Breakfast with Santa on Sunday was great! Kids loved their breakfast and the food i ordered was delicious. Excellent morning with my daughters, they loved the bag of activities they received!

The interior of this restaurant looks good and it appeared clean. The christmas decor was lovely also. The food was generally good, however the garden peas were dry and had a dehydrated texture, and the gravy to go with the ultimate burger was incredibly unpleasant. The price of the food was expensive for the quality recieved. The service was REALLY bad though. The server who took us at the door was constantly complaining it was too hectic. She had long dark hair and was also complaining about how our reserved table wasn't ready because people were still eating at it, and "an hour an a half wasn't enough time to give people at the table". She made it feel incredibly awkward. Regardless, we got seated at another table quickly but then it took 15 minutes to get our order taken, and then when our food arrived the waitress darted off before we could ask about condiments. Finally once the meal was done, we were waiting ages to speak to a server about the bill, to which we ended up getting up and finding someone. We felt completely ignored or forgotten about by the servers. For my first time here, this made it really disappointing.

Popped in for food as we were staying at premier inn next door. Staff were great, food was good and it was a very good atmosphere. Would love to visit again.

2nd time we have been here with 20+ people ranging from 10months to 69 years old. Service was top notch. So thoughtful and helpful. Food was grand, and warm. Will be back. Thank you so much for putting up with us.

Had a lovely festive meal here last night. Helen and her staff looked after us very well. We had 3 course meal for £26.99. Very good value. The staff were all nice and nothing was any trouble. We were staying next door so even had an Irish coffee to finish. Would definitely recommend.

Great service, such kind staff! We came in for breakfast but it was super super greasy! My eggs were floating in grease unfortunately and I had to get tissues to wipe the plate. My boyfriends breakfast also had so much grease with a thick paste on his bacon from this! I usually love the bell tree but unsure if I would return for breakfast. I would however, recommend for later on in the day.

Really impressed with this place. Good service and better than average food. Chicken Skewers, Katsu Curry and Appke Crumble were all tasty. Partner had Mac and Cheese plus Pancakes for pudding.

Went in for lunch today, got served for drinks straight away at the bar by a very friendly lady. Ordered food bang bang cauliflower for myself and crispy squid for my wife both came out really quickly and were perfect. I had a beef burger and my wife had chicken and bacon ciabatta for mains both were excellent the chips were very good also. Great service and relaxed atmosphere.

Full marks to the staff.. attentive professional and knowledgeable...great food ..well stocked bar..and fantastic decor...clean smart...well worth a visit..surely the jewel in Greene Kings crown...please please..replicate this model in the Rockingham Arms in Wentworth near Rotherham..much needed..a once village institution..it has fallen way below what a modern audience want and need..take the staff from Dundee and train the Rotherham team up ..on service .. presentation.care customer care and overall excellence...bring a consistent Greene King over the whole brand ..and make British pubs a pleasure to visit again...10/10 for the team at Dundee

Soo… me and my family drove up from London to visit family got here quite late literally Helen found us a table for 6 with minutes left to close and we got food it was yummy just what you need after a 8 hour drive. Helen did this with a smile and I am so grateful she was a great hostess
