After being our go-to restaurant for family get-togethers for about 25 yrs, we are sorry that Alphonso is retiring and moving back to Puglia. We will miss you. On Sunday lunchtime the restaurant was packed with friends and family to say goodbye to a well-loved institution. We hope that the new owners will continue your tradition for high quality and good value when they open in November.

I have had really nice food from here before. Yesterday our chips were delivered barely warm. Burger was fine

What can I say? Another place that was great before has the bad food, especially the service. No ‘Hi’, no ‘thank you’. ‘How do you like your chips with salt or pepper?’ Nothing. Staff are more interesting in listening to music and talking in their language. Definitely never eating again and recommend.

We stopped here for a little food and drink as a minor detour from a hike and while it looked charming from the outside, once we were inside we saw the following: (1) severe under-staffing (2) depressing lighting and decor (3) very shabby 'garden' area that could use a LOT of improvement and (4) quite smelly, old bathrooms with incredibly slow, weak, and unusable hand dryers that didn't seem to have been updated in decades. The food looked nice enough from a distance but as we were told there would be at least an hour's wait for us to even receive starters (due to the under-staffing) we left. Also it all looked a bit over-priced considering the environment and generally in-need-of-renovation vibe of the place.

Fuimos a tomar cócteles para celebrar despedida de soltera y no nos pudieron servir! Esperé más de media hora cuando todos los demás estaban siendo servidos. Un tipo, con cola de caballo estaba haciendo todo lo posible. Dos miembros del personal vinieron a ayudar, no preguntaron quién era el siguiente y fueron directamente a la izquierda. Si es Happy hour pon más personal o al menos personal capaz.

Absolutely blown away by the immense service and care of staff all very kind and the food was immaculate quick service best I’ve ever had the staff were welcoming and pleasant to associate with great for the community

Food is good and at a reasonable price, especially for a restaurant. The only reason that let's this restaurant down is the price for drinks. It is the same as ordering another meal. Very, expensive, which put me off eating here again.

The pizza was stone cold and very late to get to me. I called the Resturant and they wouldn’t replace for a hot pizza or give me a refund. AVOID

The food was good put not perfect The service was good but not perfect like what I thought ,the employees wasn’t with trolley it’s not sequences of service I think you should have trolley’s to remove the dishes uniforms for employees

Absolutely awful. Management unhelpful and not validating. People vaping in the restaurant use of bad language in the restaurant and management not managing appropriately. Not appropriate for families at all. Management patronising and apologising insincerely. Food would have been satisfactory however because of the above were unable to complete the meals. Room was cold with one small electric heater attached to the wall. Shower head blocked and water drained slowly from bath tub.
