Worst food I've ever eaten, no flavour apart from the overpowering taste of burnt food and when I phoned to complain about it and asked for my money back I basically got told to go away and it was my problem not theirs, the food made my daughter thrown up and I spent an evening on the bog, I spent nearly 50 quid on the order from here for it to just go straight in the bin, normally I'd give what's left to the dogs but even they wouldn't touch it so order at your own risk if you want to spend a fortune on shite food cooked in old manky oil that tastes of burnt food, I think this place needs a visit from the health inspector.

Absolutely awful very chips cooked in old fat the pork kabab tasted like dry burnt wood an the normal kebab was tasteless all covered in grease my 8 year old daughter was sick

Used to be alright for the odd time we did order in. Noticed a slight decline but last time they sent food that was totally off twice. It was off and smelt disgusting. As we had the order delivered twice because of the same issue we decided to eat in instead and take the food back the next day to show them. Despite the stench coming from the meat in the pizza the manager refused to admit any fault and took the pizzas off us and said he will deal with it later. As you can imagine later never came and we did a foodhub dispute to get the money back luckily we used them or we would have been out of pocket. Never again.

Ordered a chicken kebab simply as it has advertised in their flyer that it is cooked on a upright spit like doner meat is cooked, I asked and they confirmed so, but wen it came 70mins after ordered it was just big dry chunks of chicken which wasn’t chewable, the pitta bread was hard. My husband ordered lamb shish kebab, again the pitta bread was hard and the lamb was quite tasteless, was succulent but very little taste of lamb. Will not be ordering again

Worst lamb kebab ever meat was obviously not what we expected we basically threw away the meal after 1 mouthfull the lamb was like eating chewy fat ! None of it was fresh will never go back and totally dissapointed service was friendly but i would siggest trading standards go check them out !!! It will make you ill !

Unfortunately food delivered cold yet again. This being despite it was a quiet Tuesday evening and only being a 4 minute drive from the shop. Will go elsewhere next time.

What happened to the propa keebab house cleethorpes was the best ever what happened to real tasting meat propa chips lemon and salad now nothing like such a shame

Ordered from Uber eats for my wife and kids while I was out, the food arrived extremely late and cold, and when I called to ask about the order they were annoyed and upset that I had the audacity to ask about the order I spent £40 on despite me leaving a 10% tip beforehand?? Delivery driver was also rude I’ll never be ordering from here again, and I don’t recommend you do either.

Have used this kebab shop for many years, unfortunatly it has slipped in standards especially the quality of lamb, very stringy and chewy,,,, but the chips are still great

Absolutely disgusted with the kebah house ...I was a regular customer until they tried to rip me off tonight ...preying on people having a drink! I'd never use this takeaway again !!! Only given one star as had to have other wise it would be zero ....total rip off ...is there any wonder there's no one in there ! Don't give them your trade!

Cracking chips and salad, unfortunatly cannot say the same for the lamb shish,, very fatty and chewy, this used to be my favourite kebab house and for 30 quid for two shishkebabs needs addressing the quality of the lamb is poor.

I avoid this place like the plague. Terrible food. Worst kebab house ever. They are not inclined to look after the place. Not good value for money. Save your money and go somewhere else. Call for it to get shut down.

Ordered for a collection from foodhub was waiting another 10 minutes after the timer had ran out. Communication between the staff wasn’t great with being tried to be charged twice. And then the dough was all soggy and not cooked underneath and sauce was everywhere, chips was too overdone and tasted as though they had been fried over and over again. Won’t be ordering again

We ordered a delivery. Has we was told it was a good place with lovly food. Wow never again. The order was wrong and food very greasy. My Mixed kabad i ordered. Turned up as two meat balls, soggy chips no spice as requested. It should of had donna meat on but didn't. My partner asked for veg and no cabbage. We got a tub of cabbage no ther salad. I phoned up waiting for my replacement. After 40 minutes still no sign do I phoned again. After seeing what my partner and son had and left most I asked for a refund for mine. In totel one hour later the chap turned up. Food was wrong greasy and bland. 1 star for the part refund.

I have been visiting here for 45 years, under different ownership. I have never had a problem with them until now. Everything is pre-cooked and stored in metal buckets, so it's no longer the fresh cooked taste, and it is NOT hot ! Very busy with phoned in takeaway orders and so your wait time off the street will be longer than you envisaged ! Very mixed staff and approach to customers.

We just tried to order from this place - they're on Food Hub and Just East for our address, but they declined the order due to where we live. Nothing to do with it being a busy Saturday night 🤔, of course. Picking and choosing your customers when it suits.

Every thing was bad chips cold meat could not find it and the garlic pitta just some sort of grease smeared all over it first last time every ordering g from here .

This place was the best in town many years ago… now its not even worth a mention Chicken kebab and chips Chips were from the night before as looked liked they had been fried again and again.. chicken pieces looked like they had been swept off the floor,…chicken looked brown and was tasteless. Don’t usually write reviews. But ordered from here a few times now and always either miss something off order, turns up late or cold, and the chips are always dripping in fat. Won’t be ordering again, I’ve noticed they always reply to negative reviews that they will improve these problems but they clearly havnt bothered

Total rip off!! Ordered 1 lrg donner kebab and 1 lrg chicken, hardly any meat whatsoever, I've noticed they have started compensating the chicken for grilled vegetables. If I wanted a vegan kebab, I would of ordered one!! All for the great price of £25 nearly!! Admittedly, they used to be very good but unfortunately, like most businesses, they've shot themselves in the foot through greed!! Bye bye Kebab House

Shocking order, can’t even admit it when they haven’t cooked food properly. Cheese free pizza arrived (as dairy-free) on soggy floppy bread. They say it has been cooked but ingredients fall off as no cheese but the pizza base was clearly under cooked as floppy and soggy with the crust slightly harder.

Don’t order from here! Rang up at 20 past ten it’s now 5 to 12 and no food!! No one’s answering the phone what a waste of time sat waiting for food that clearly not coming ! Absolute joke

Food quality has gone down dramatically over the past few months. I use to love ordering from here but recently the food has been turning up soggy and just disgusting. Such a shame as it used to be delicious. I have made the decision not to order any more. The manager did offer to replace the meal but I declined.

Used to go here quite regularly with my kids a few years ago and always had the lamb kebab and chips. Always really enjoyable. Probably the best chips in Cleethorpes too

Quality shocking, overpriced and cheap ingredients! Gone down hill, garlic yogurt has been changed and kabab boxes have shrunk so less food for your money. Could never finish a kabab years ago and now need two.

Donner meat was bland to average, asked for no onion, but got onion, chips tasted unpleasant, cheap chilli sauce, and cheap ketchup. No where near as good as it used to be. I wont go there again.

This place is normally quite good but ordered yesterday and pizza dough was over stretched and had holes on the corner and the toppings were burnt to a crisp. I really do hope they sort it out.

This used to be my number one go to place to eat but just lately they’re chips have been absolutely disgusting! And pizza is burnt 🤦🏼‍♀️ if it doesn’t improve soon a long term customer will be lost

Over the last few weeks we have noticed a deterioration in the quality of the kebabs. I have usually gone for the kebab house special. Then noticed that I was throwing out the steak cubes as they were full of grissle. So started ordering the donner kebab. Again not the best of quality and the chips were disgusting. My wife always had chicken kebab salad and chips. Again not very good. Started dropping the salad as she was unhappy with the content. Chicken was again dry. Like mine the chips were awful. It will be a long time before we order anymore food from here. Shame. As when the staff moved to clee market place from the Waltham kebab shop. Everything was really nice every time you ordered food. Dine in and takeaway food was excellent. Makes you wonder if it’s the same owners or has there been a staff change.

The food was lovely all in all, but when I ordered it on Clee eats app the kebab gave us the option to choose 2 sauces (assuming these would be in a pot) I chose garlic mayo and bbq sauce. It arrived and both them sauces was on my kebab (wasn’t a nice combination). However, my other friend ordered garlic mayo sauce with her kebab and it came in a pot? Maybe make an option on the app for the sauce to be in pots or on the kebab?

Ordered online don't pay with your card!! Ours turned up 40 minutes late phoned up after 25 mins late I was told the driver will be with you in a couple of minutes clearly not he lied my food obviously hadn't even been cooked!! I rang back to cancel it he just said sorry that was it ...the driver turned up saying sorry we are busy not my problem when I have pre-ordered for a time. Unreliable don't pay until you actually receive it we turned him away will never use again

I've just received my delivery , from Just Eat, ordered chips , doner kebabs. The chips really greasy..pitta dry ..kebab meat dry. I've never had to complain before..I've normally telephoned to compliment my takeaway from other restaurants and takeaways. I will not be going to The Kebab House aging I've told them to come and collect my meal and for them to eat it. .. all they said was okay..thank you ! ??

Ordered two kebabs from here for me and my wife. Took the order and my address as soon as they put the phone down they sent me a text saying I could pay online followed by another saying that the order had been cancelled. The excuse being that they can’t deliver that far being 5.6 miles away. Why take the order and then send a text straight after . If they had rang me I would have probably gone an picked it up. No more kebabs for me

First time trying, ordered a chicken kebab with chips and veg. It was gorgeous! The chips are banging and chicken cooked perfectly. Very friendly staff🙂

Ordered online to pick up my Order . Went to pick up they were having issues with online payments asked if I’d pay over the Counter . Paid over the Counter but then online payment still came out my Account . The Owner said if you don’t get refund I’ll sort it for you . Went back to Kebab House a week later after trying Foodhub who were useless the Manager at shop wasn’t interested although foodhub told him they had issues on the night , VERY DISAPPOINTED IN HIS ATTITUDE.

Placed an order and paid for it in advance. After my order was not delivered by the stated time I called the restaurant to ask for an estimated time. The rude and unprofessional lady patronised me and said that I hadn’t ordered it from them. I kept trying to explain to her that I had ordered it from them, I had paid for it and received confirmation. She wouldn’t listen and kept telling me that I was wrong and they’re busy. While she was on the phone being rude to me the delivery did arrive so obviously she was wrong. She offered no apology. The food that was delivered was cold and soggy so goodness knows how long it had been out for delivery. Certainly would not recommend using this takeaway until they train their staff as they clearly do not know what they are doing and have not customer service skills.

Well...I last reviewed this establishment in January 2019 and what a change from then! 4 x Donner Kebabs 1 x Special Kebab 5 x chips. The delivery arrived on time but on seeing the boxes, they were absolutely swimming in grease and garlic sauce and along with the salad in plastic packaging rather flavourless. The 1 star I gave was for the chips, which we did enjoy. Sorry Kebab House, but not your usual standard at £40...loads went in the bin. We won't be back in a hurry and not recommended.

Called in for a House Special Kebab which was lovely. - lamb, chicken, donna and kofta. They are very busy now with deliveries but my meal was ready within 10 minutes. Good quality meats with hot pizza. Salad could have been better- its more of a garnish. Efficient and friendly service. I am very surprised at the number of recent poor reviews. Prices have gone up but havnt they everywhere?!

Always loved the kebab,but ordered last night only thing decent was the raw cabbage ,so disappointing will never order from there again. Chips were soggy ,lamb was soggy and dunt taste of lamb ,the sauce was just squirted over everything and was tasteless .Hubby had Donna and said it was greasy and tasteless total waste of over £20

Food poisoning after having a doner kebab, family member had the same experience a few weeks back.

Shop looks good inside, nice staff, really good burgers and chips are great. Donner meat was moist and tasty. Really don't know why people buy burgers from Macdonalds when round the corner you can get quality real burgers from places like this.

Worst I’ve ever ordered. At first only half of our delivery arrived. The chips where at least 3 times fried so really dark like mush and swimming in fat. So much so that it had melted the box they where in and the oil was through the box. A good half hour later the full order was re delivered. The kebab and the chips arrived totally swimming in oil it was through the box and the bag so consequently all over our work tops. The chips where inedible. Really disappointed

Absolutely terrible then if you would like a salad of cabbage with a very small slice of tomato and two slices of cucumber all raw then this is the place for you if not avoid The special kebab was rock hard terrible is not the correct word it’s beyond belief this was once the best place in Cleethorpes to go to now is the best place to avoid

Ordered tonight no way as good as it was years ago kebab meat dry and curled up salad was shocking and the spicy meat balls had gristle. Also when I got home they forgot the chips.

I used this place on word of mouth from one of the senior carers from my care provider. i asked for a medium kebab with chips but without the salad. the medium portion was more like a large portion and the chips looked like chip shop chips portion sizes were generous the pitta bread was fresh. The kebab came in a pizza box. this is good value for money with low delivery fees very pleasant delivery driver the only downside was i received an out of date Diet Coke

Shop bought onion rings, chips like potato peelings, very very poor for the price won't use kebab house ever again. Nice one u ripping off lot.!

The food I received wasn’t cooked rang and complained the order was picked up and I am still waiting for my refund the only thing I can recommend is stay clear

We love those place and get a treat for the family on a weekend most weeks. Highly recommended. The staff are so friendly and we always have a chat. Portion sizes are generous and there is a fab selection to choose from. This has been our favourite takeaway for years now and it only keeps getting better!

Love their kebabs, loads of meat, salad, mushrooms & peppers. Cooked to order so can be a bit of a wait & very busy at weekends so call ahead to order.

Horrible takeaway, chips we're burnt and no cheese, even though I ordered cheesey chips. Donner kebab was cold and the driver was extremely rude! Shame you can't rate 0 stars.

4 uncooked meatballs on a delapedated what they called a pitta ordered a special kebab and that is what turned up what a pisstake will add photos the kebab House if I wanted meatballs I would of ordered Italian would not order from this place they do not know what a kebab is !!!waste of money

Fabulous as usual, huge portions, fresh crisp salad and meat cooked to order. Staff are so polite and friendly. Can't reccomend enough!

Having worked at this place over 30 years ago with the original owners Nick the Greek and his entourage Cheryl Dawn and pat Looking after the restaurant side and a regular customer since those days I have to write to say how disappointed I am The food has always been the best in Cleethorpes and weekend queues would stretch till 2 o’clock in the morning . Since nick sold the restaurant it’s clear he took all his secrets with him because the food has deteriorated so much. For one please can we go back to the original recipe for the special kebabs the recipe that Nick brought to the establishment back in the 80s .. From making them in the back kitchen I know for one the parcley is missing Plus the onions and the main kick of the kebab which came from the cayne pepper seems to be substituted by Curry powder for some bizarre reason . The chips should be double cooked, The lamb cutlets should not be cut into tiny little pieces but served as a full cutlet just like they used to be . The secret lamb donna recipe reserved for the kebab house seems to be substituted for the same ingredient you can pick up in any High Street kebab shop, The chicken kebab should be known how long to cook without slicing into it and letting it dry out same goes for the lamb shish . Please can we just go back to all the original recipes and cooking techniques it will be such a shame to see this takeaway become any old High Street kebab shop

It pains me to write this kind of review for the Kebab House as I have had many beautiful meals there but I am disappointed tonight. We ordered a mixed kebab and the ratio of meat was all wrong, it feels like it was rammed with the cheapest meat (doner) with a couple of little bits of lamb and chicken thrown in. I should have just ordered a donner kebab. I have a big problem with the salad which arrived. I know it’s ‘just a salad’ but it is part of a kebab. What came was a half full plastic container with one dry piece if cucumber, one soggy piece of tomato and a handful of dry cabbage, onion and lettuce. The cucumber and tomato went straight in the bin and you can see from the pics what we were left with. What happened to the lovely fresh salads that we used to get; the salad that shows on your advert pictures? Don’t put salad as an option if you are going to produce something so poor. We ordered a few weeks ago during an England Euros game and the food was the same but we put it down to being very busy. There won’t be a third time for us now.

My delivery took almost 2 hours to arrive beyond the expected time. When I called, my order hadn't even been placed yet. When I opened my box, I found a hair. Disgusting

We were out having an outside pint in line with covid restrictions at a seafront pub who is currently not doing food. So we decided to order a take away kebab and pick it up on way home. They said order would be ready on 15 minutes. Kebabs were delicious and available at time they said they would be. Staff seem always to be busy but are still friendly. Pricing us top end of expectations but that is reflected in quality of product. Chicken and lamb fillets were very tender.

Been going to this place for about 40 years always good food and go service and a smile from the staff 😊
