Absolutely wonderful experience. All staff were very friendly and welcoming, our waiter was incredibly patient and helpful. They went above and beyond to make my sister’s birthday dinner so special with a desert cake and complimentary shots and champagne. Food was great and affordable. Definitely recommend to experience a nice ambience and great customer service

It was a great experience to eat delicious Turkish food in this place very close to the center of London. The chicken shish was juicy and delicious. We tasted many flavors with the mixed appetizer plate. The waiters were attentive and helpful. I recommend it to those who want halal and delicious Turkish food.

Absolutely Horrible Experience – A Shameful Display of Inhumanity Visited: 31st May 2025, Saturday around 8 PM As someone visiting London, I’ve had many great experiences — but tonight at Haz Restaurant near St. Paul’s Cathedral, I encountered one of the most humiliating and distressing moments of my life. While walking nearby, my sister urgently needed to use a washroom. It was "the first day of her period" — anyone with even an ounce of empathy understands how sudden and urgent such situations can be. We approached the restaurant and politely asked if she could use their restroom. To our shock and disappointment, they refused, saying it was “for customers only” and citing a rigid “company policy.” There was no humanity, no consideration, no basic decency shown — just a cold, robotic refusal. Left with no choice, and in an extremely vulnerable situation, we had to buy a drink — costing £9 — just so she could access the washroom. What made the experience even worse was the "demeanor of the manager". While we sat there, visibly embarrassed, he was "speaking aggressively to his staff in another language", glancing at our table repeatedly. It felt like a deliberate attempt to shame us even further — as if buying a drink to access a toilet in a moment of medical distress wasn’t humiliating enough. It was an appalling and degrading experience. The only person who showed any decency was one of the waiter, who came to apologize twice. I truly appreciate him. He was clearly stuck following orders from a "cold, heartless manager" who had no interest in showing compassion. Let me be clear: "this is not just bad service — this is inhumane". A woman in need was denied basic dignity. As a foreigner, this left a terrible impression. I’ve seen this “customers only” rule in many places, but never enforced so harshly, so unashamedly cruel. I urge all women — and anyone who believes in basic respect, decency, and feminism — to avoid Haz Restaurant completely. A place that lacks the humanity to let a woman in urgent need use a restroom is not worth a single pound. I will never forget this day — my sister cried for hours after we got home, overwhelmed by the inhumanity and the shame she felt in front of everyone. Haz does not respect women. Haz does not respect people. Haz should be ashamed. SHAME ON HAZ RESTAURANT

The staff were super friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. One of the best restaurants I’ve tried living in London it became a tradition in my family to come in every once in a short awhile. The service is beyond excellent and every one working there is lovable and friendly not to mention the food is very delicious and well served. Never been there and felt disappointed always an extremely pleasant experience.

We had an amazing dinner with a group of friends and the food was outstanding, would recommend everyone who love the Mediterranean food… Service was excellent. The view from our seating was most memorable part of our experience as you get to see St Paul’s cathedral. Thanks for a warm welcome Haz.

HAZ St. Paul's has hosted our large party for a Saturday lunch (around 18 people) and they were fantastic. Very attentive, professional, friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a la carte menu, and were able to enjoy our special occasion at our own pace. Thank you so much for having us, we highly recommend HAZ St. Pauls.

I visited Haz with colleagues from work who had sample the menu on previous occasions. I really enjoyed the food and every last morsel. The Efes on tap reminded me of holidays in Turkey! Will visit again, but with my wife.

The food at HAZ St Paul was delicious and full of authentic Turkish flavors. However, the portion sizes felt a bit small for the price. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a clean and cozy atmosphere that made the dining experience enjoyable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout. Overall, a pleasant visit great quality, though a bit more quantity would have made it perfect.

Some of the food was very good, whilst some was average. Nothing was bad. It is the type of place which is good enough but probably missing attention to detail - my roasted courgette salad was served very cold straight out of the fridge, for example. The service was ok but the staff often forgot about us. It was very busy outside and nice in the sunny weather. I would say the price was high and I’m not sure value for money.

It’s very rare to find a restaurant where all categories are a 5 star and HAZ is definitely one of them.

Reservamos una mesa con antelación y cuando llegamos dijeron que no podían honrarlo y se quedaron totalmente inmutados por qué eso sería molesto para un grupo de 6. También cuesta £ 10 + cargo de servicio por un pequeño plato de hummus y pita que incluso para Londres es bastante salvaje. No recuerdo que siempre sea tan caro. El servicio tampoco era mucho de lo que escribir a casa. La vergüenza tiene potencial para ser buena, pero se siente tan sobrevalorada ahora.

Really nice spot for a dinner. They have a great set menu and the portion was perfect. The lamb shish was well cooked and seasoned and the cacik was tasty. Overall a solid option for a comforting Turkish meal.

Been here for lunch, it was a great sunny day. The portion and the taste of the food was just appropriate. But service wasn’t great. I asked for something and it has never came to the table. While location is good but those chime of bells from the nearby cathedrals were too loud. It has been chiming all the way since I sat down on the table and continued while I was leaving 😀. Very noisy place.

We've just moved offices and Haz has already established itself as the "if i'm not here i'm there" place. Why? 1. stellar location for post work drinks and chats, with an iconic view of St Pauls 2. great place for a quick and healthy lunch, the chicken shish salad is excellent 3. great place for an evening meal, food is lovely, big choice of cocktails, and it's huge so there's nearly always a table 4. outstanding service, in particular Ali, who is charm personified

The loudest place I've ever been. I couldn't hear my client across the table. An absolute disaster which makes other considerations about food or service pointless. The overall experience is terrible.

Food is really delicious, grilled meats are really good. Yes prices a bit steep but it's central London right by St Paul's. Service very good. But it's really noisy when it's busy; big open space means the volume ramps up a lot.

This is the first Turkish restraunt where I've been served frozen veg... frozen meat, even microwaved bulgar wheat. Exceedingly disappointing and overpriced. Also watery bitter hummus. The one thing you'd expect at a Turkish restraunt is good hummus... Would not recommend.

I’ve been a customer of 12 years. Tonight I was embarrassed to take work colleagues there. Waiter not interested. Bill £60 too much. Second bill £15 too much. Then one person paid cash and “sorry we have no change”. This place has gone downhill and I would avoid as there are loads of other places nearby that won’t try and rip you off.

The food was excellent - flavorful, well-seasoned, and the meat was especially tender. It’s a great spot for both group dining and a quality meal in the city. Would definitely return!
