I often done here as it's in close proximity to my office , nice catching up with friends and colleagues. Just feel they must revisit there pricing for party menu

Delicious food, good service, great location.

We came here for lunch and the food is nice but in my view nothing special. We had babganoush, artichoke, a mixed grill, sliced chicken and the samphire side. The samphire side was actually delicious, the rest all very standard Turkish cuisine which didn’t warrant the price tag. The mains come with no salad or side so £23 for some chicken is not the best. The staff were friendly, considerate and helpful with my allergy issues which was really nice.

Good restaurant, the only one that offers a meal even at 10:30 p.m. Very nice decoration. Very clean with nice staff. The dish was quite generous and good. I recommend

Lovely food and great ambience.

Starters were ok, cold dishes were nice. There were these stuffed minced meat balls, that were ok too but had a slight after taste. For the main course I had the mix grill. All meats were cooked just right. The chicken had nice flavours, slightly on the dry side. However, the lamb was amazing, tender, soft and juicy. Bulgur wheat rice is nice too and goes very well with the grilled meats. The atmosphere and environment was pleasant to be in.

A lovely staff member allowed me to pray downstairs when it was empty. I had been rejected from all other restaurants so I am very grateful, thank you!!

This has always been one of my favorite places in central so whenever I'm in town I do like to eat here. Myself and a friend met for dinner on a week night and the waiters at one point looked like they were standing over us and waiting at our table as seems they wanted the table free. Apart from that minor inconvenience all was good.

Came here with my dad as it was close to my work. It was an amazing meal. Food was delicious and staff were great. Couldn’t ask for more. Will definitely be coming back and would definitely recommend!

Ribeye steak was absolutely amazing would definitely recommend. Can't give 5 stars since servers weren't great with dealing with allergies and there was some confusion regarding which foods had the allergen in them.

We had the £26 menu (starter and main). Plenty of tasty food - my lamb tangine was delicious. Main menu slightly on the pricey side, but it's central London. Total cost (including 2 bottles of wine - the cheapest rosé is good and dry -, 4 coffees and I dessert) was about £55 each, including service charge.

A huge branch of this established City of London chain of Turkish restaurants and relatively quiet and empty on a Saturday evening. Attentive service, agreeable décor and fittings and with an extensive range of Turkish cuisine and a comprehensive wine list hiding a few treasures among much that is mediocre. Thank you ! Prices are reasonable given the high rent location : food around £40 per head doubled with drinks.

Loved my visit , the lamb chops were fab and the salmon starter was huge. The seating outside was nice too in this weather

The staff at Haz were incredibly attentive and friendly. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. Their menu includes great vegan and vegetarian options. Highly recommend for excellent service and a great dining experience.

The best restaurant in London for Turkish flavours. The waiters are very interested, especially we would like to thank Mr. Ali, who served us today, he made us feel in our country with his hospitality. You can choose here for the best service and great Turkish foods :)

Great food and great waitress !

Came her for a friend’s birthday. The staff were fantastic and really made the meal special. The food was great, as always.

Everything was good, it just didn't taste like Turkish food, but they warned us before bringing the food. Their tea was too light, we asked the waiter to make it darker and they changed it immediately. The stuffed meatballs were a little saltier than normal, other than that it was good. The yogurt wasn't exactly like Turkish yogurt, but it tasted very good. A few of the very nice waiters speak Turkish.

Thorough background searches should be done on your employees to avoid tragic incidents in future!!!!!

A Turkish restaurant near St Paul's Cathedral. One feels proud and emotional when the people of our country open such beautiful businesses. The atmosphere is very nice, spacious, comfortable and we arrived at lunch time and it was quite crowded. We bought lentil soup, appetizer plate, iskender, stuffed meatballs, tea and Turkish coffee and paid around 25 pounds per person. The food was very delicious, but I don't think it is possible to find 100% the taste of Turkey abroad due to the ingredients. A few minor criticisms: The tea was very light, but the Turkish waiter who took care of us did not bring the tea. I think he would not allow it to be served open like that. We asked for it to be changed and they immediately made it thicker and apologized. Turkish tea does not taste like water. The minced meat of the stuffed meatballs was very salty, this is probably the case in terms of taste, but it raises questions about why it was salted and whether the minced meat is bad and spoils the taste. The imam fainted on the appetizer plate was not imam fainted, it was şakshuka. But it tasted good. Iskender was not a doner kebab, they put yoghurt on top of the kebab, but they warned us about this in advance. So no problem.

Went for a business lunch. Really suitable location. It was a hot day. Lots of outdoor seating and indoor seating. Food was lovely. We went for the £45 per head set meal, and the portion sizes were very generous. Service was a bit chaotic, particularly with drinks orders, but manager helped salvage it. Great location right next to St Pauls. Would recommend in any weather.

Restaurants with large outdoor areas are rare in London but this is a great find. Wonderful food that is on the expensive side but worth the money!

Hi, we had a delightful meal tonight at Haz. Our waitress Rajon was very helpful and polite. Atmosphere was nice, but a little quiet. Can’t be helped on a Wednesday.

Went with a group of friends for lunch . Service was fast not to mention the amazing food. Can’t wait to visit again.

We arranged a work dinner there. As the only Turkish person in the team who recommended this place, i am so disappointed. They probably think since we were +10 people, corporate booking, they could serve the food with low quality. I didn't tell my colleagues at the time, as i as so ashamed. I had "beyendi" - it was disgusting, not inline with the menu description. There wasn't much of lamp shish meat, had the worst part of the lamb. - they charged £24 Also ordered "humus", very industrialised and tasteless. I am so regretful of my recommendation now. If you truly know what a kebab is - this place is a no-go! - EDIT: this restaurant even replied with a message in this platform to my review - said: "We understand that taste can be subjective, and what might not suit one person could be enjoyed by others. We appreciate your comments and hope you might consider giving us another chance in the future." Kebab has a universal taste, not subjective. As a Turkish person, my recommendation is; that place is a NO -GO.

Hi,I just felt the waiter wasn't very attentive as he was with other diners.he didn't even bother to ask is everything okay etc.

Came here over the weekend as a large group for bridal party. The place was empty only had one more party going on. The lady serving the table was very rude and gave only one word answers. The drinks took a very long time to come through and the food took even longer. There was a set menu to order from due to the amount of us which is totally acceptable. The starters were very nice, but the mains were cold and very bland. Honestly the whole atmosphere in the restaurant was horrible, we felt like it was a problem that we were there. Ruined the whole experience for us, would defiantly not come here again

We were pleasantly surprised to try Haz at St Paul’s. It is a huge restaurant and well decorated and very busy. It is well blended atmosphere of a British Pub and Turkish cuisine,serving all kebabs salads,desserts,cocktails,drinks The food was top quality,friendly staff. Treditional Turkish Restaurant with great food and atmosphere. We enjoyed my brother's engagement with full of fun. Service was wonderful with brilliant guy raj. Strongly recommend this place.

Expensive, slow and not very friendly service and pretty average food for the prices. Bit of a tourist trap due to the proximity of St Paul's, I went with a group and I would not have chosen this place otherwise!

I had dinner here with my family, the staff is very kind, especially Engin and they were able to find off-menu solutions for my children, they pampered us and made us feel at ease. Engin offered my children, a portion of french fries, a small portion of fried calamari, ice cream and baklava. Super recommended, I didn't expect such excellent service.

Had a meal with my sons and granddaughter in the evening. Was deliciously prepared and presented. The young people who serve are very well trained to take orders and respond with patience to the needs of a customer. I had a elderflower coolies and it had a sprig of mint leaf. I decided to take it to make mint tea but decided to put it in some water. Few days later. See picture. Natural products in our food servings.

I visited the establishment yesterday and found the cuisine to be of exceptional quality. The service provided was excellent. I opted for the chef's recommended menu, which was extraordinary. I paired the grilled salmon with a glass of white wine, which complemented the dish perfectly. The ambience of the establishment was pleasant.

Beautiful location and atmosphere. Service was decent. Menu was diverse. Price fix specials but limited choices. Everything is a la carte. Rice for a meal shouldn’t be a la carte. I had the spaghetti with crab and prawns. It came with tomatoes, which I don’t eat. Wish the description was accurate. Baklava was very good.

Caught up with a friend I haven't seen in a long time, suggesting we check out Haz. Was greeted warmly by the staff who were attentive throughout the visit. We ordered the mixed grill, some starters and drinks. The food was very good and recommend it if you enjoy Turkish restaurants.

The food, service and atmosphere is good and I have been here many times. However the pricing has become really high. For lunch, we had houmus, tabbouleh, two mains and two cokes and it was £100. Please introduce a lunch menu.

The meat was supper well cooked and delicious as well. Moussaka was delicious, but the way of serving and the plate was not suitable for it.

Great for an office lunch. Meat is lovely and cooked well, had some great sides and lovely desserts. I’d recommend.

The atmosphere is nice - right opposite St Paul’s, modern decor, very “after-work business dinner” vibes. But very pricey for what you get - I really didn’t get a lot and still paid £48 for chicken shish and a couple shared starters which felt like standard Middle Eastern food. Would recommend this place if you prefer a good setting over food taste/price.

Was early on a.weekday night so not over busy. There was a large group of us, the food was served quickly.and was hot and tasty everyone enjoyed there meals and would say more filling than it looked

Go elsewhere, not recommended. The restaurant is large and the decor is nice, staff are attentive. Food was a real disappointment. Soup was okay and so was the hummus. Bread was not. I thought moussaka was Greek but here they serve it, and it wasn’t that tasty. Stupidly I ordered the lamb tengine expecting it to be full of flavours and beautifully served in a tengine pot just like I’ve had many times from Moroccan restaurants, but this version was a tasteless stew and ugly. Tea was nice though, probably from a bag but still I liked it (mint and another was jasmine). Prices were okay, we had the £26 two course meal. I didn’t want to make a scene but for restaurant to add service of 13.5% automatically was an insult - the experience didn’t deserve a tip

I order Begendi kebab and the aubergine was delicious, but the chicken meat was horrible, it lacked a lot of flavor and most of all it only had fat so that I had to leave quite a "chicken".

We had a great evening meal to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Staff very attentive, food really delicious. The calamari starter is yummy. Would recommend for a nice meal with reasonable prices and good size servings

Turkish restaurant with typical dishes and modern decoration. I moderately appreciated the quality of the dishes, the service and the atmosphere.

I wrote an email but had no response so felt that I had to leave a review. Firstly we were a party of over 20 people and were sat in the main area in two separate tables that we were never informed of. The waitress said she would see if she could change us to the basement and then came back 5 mins later saying they just gave that room to a crowd that just walked in. This was very disappointing for us because we were seated separately and because it was difficult to communicate with each other we ended up standing chatting to each other. You could see that the waiters were not happy because we were standing right in the way of the kitchen area. Secondly the main course was absolutely terrible. Firstly we got no rice with any of the dishes only chicken and veg and I had specifically asked for no garlic in my food. When I told the male waiter of this he was very rude and said sorry all our food has garlic and then when I asked for another option he said there was no options. One of the people in our party waited for 15 mins to get their food when everyone else was already eating and half way through their food. We didn't want to complain as it was our colleagues baby shower. But we did spend over £1,200 and to be treated like this in a very nice restaurant wasn't the most enjoyable evening.

We came for an office social a couple of weeks ago. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was tasty and big portions. They have a good selection of drinks too. Ambiance is nice. Highly recommend the place.

This should have been so, so much better. Great location (I suppose every restaurant is in the right place for someone) opposite St Paul’s. A vibrant atmosphere which I like when dining alone. Promptly seated but then forgotten. Menus brought then forgotten. Eventually ordered, then forgotten. Eventually persuaded one of the very many staff to take an order. Then forgotten. (Can you see a theme emerging here). My pint of beer was not full and the veg lasagne slopped on the plate. And it seemed the only veg was potato. I seem to recall that we are not in a time of food rationing and that other veg are available. Called for the bill, which is the one thing which was brought very promptly. then forgotten. Paid cash eventually and waited for change. Guess what…….. And 13.5 percent service charge for the service offered an insult to the customer. Although I am in this part of london at least two nights most weeks I shan’t be back.

Excellent chicken and lamb shish, best I could find in the area. Outstanding customer service!

Food was really bad. The aubergine in the babaganoush was not cooked and neither was the lamb in the kofte. The vegetables were cooked like food in a hospital. Despite service being attentive, my friends and I agreed that we will never go back.

It's a realible classic, with tasty dishes and good value for money. A bit tricky to find good wine, but otherwise perfect. I'm a fan of the beetroot starter and cauliflower main. Grilled fish also lovely.

We had a dinner there. The foods are delicious however the service is not good enough. There were no tissue, salt or other things on the table and they charged service charge for nothing. The portion of food is not big enough even after eating I feel hungry . The waiters are not friendly and not welcoming .

Furthermore, the poor quality of the tables and the sparse appearance made it feel as though we were eating in a cheap canteen or truck stop, rather than a restaurant. We will never go back again, it was awful.

Lovely food (olive oil poached salmon salad) and overall ambience and atmosphere. Reasonable price. I will be back for more.
