Cantina style, rustic chic, with a decent wine menu and some lighter options like grilled fish. Not terribly expensive, although a reasonably post lunchtime crowd, filled with the mid-level Mayfair hedge fund worker bees.

Popped into the Truc Vert for a spot of breakfast prior my visa interview at the US Embassy on a cold November morning.Friendly enough staff serving artisan food in a pleasant environment. Personally a little on the pricey side for me (£30 - breakfast for 2) but you get what you pay for in this world, and this was quality.

We stumbled upon this restaurant looked at the menu & decided their quiche sounded great. We were seated, proceeded to order and were informed they had no quiche for at least an hour. I then ordered tea, their mixed meat & cheese platter, & asked for two glasses of water. The platter was a disappointment, coming with plastic covering the cheese board. They never brought our waters, were so inattentive they never noticed, & were so difficult to get to look our way we decided to forget ordering anything else to go somewhere else. Getting the bill was another small feat. What a joke!

This was mine and my boyfriends romantic date night; a Wowcher deal for £39.00This included a 3 course meal and a bottle of prosecco. The meal options were very basic with everything if any substance consting a minimum of £2-3 excess. We both opted for the French onion soup which was good; thin soup but flavoursome and a bread platter to share. The bread platter was later given to a lady dining on her own complimentary to wait which we thought was a bit mean considering we had the same to share, with a soup!! We both then opted for the wagu-beef burgers which was £3 excess fee each. This was tasty and as expected. To finish the dessert we both wanted was no longer available. (Our booking was 8:00pm on a Friday.. prime time!!) so we went for the chocolate fondant and the orange bread and butter pudding. These were very rick but well portioned and a nice end to the meal. The prosecco was nothing special but palatable and worthy of a free accompaniment. Overall a good evening.Thank you.

We had already visited Truc Vert on a great value Groupon deal which included 3 courses and a bottle of prosecco. So, when the deal came up again, we jumped at it. However, the second time around we were rather disappointed as there was a visiting celebrity chef and so the restaurant was heaving! We felt that this was reflected in the quality of the meal we had. We would have preferred it if the restaurant had informed us of this before our visit so we would have had the option to re-book another date. Overall, it was still good value for the area.

Visited for lunch with 5 friends as had a Wowcher deal - 3 courses and half bottle of prosecco for £19.50. I had smoked haddock starter, duck main course and apple tarte tatin for desert. Starter and main excellent and really delicious. Desert was average but still nice. Not sure I'd pay the full prices but a bargain due to the deal. Would visit again for same offer.

Visited here on a wowcher deal on Sat 12th Nov. Very disappointed .. The restaurant itself has the potential to be great however they are let down by quality of food, the service is polite and friendly but for the prices they charge, staff should be dressed in smart attire as opposed to tshirt jeans and trainers.. they also were sitting at the tables eating themselves!!! They had music playing (depressing music) with adverts every so often - so as if it was a playlist on you tube. Food was very bland, and tasted shop bought. We had the lamb shank with rice - but it had around 10 grains of rice!?!?!?!?!?We had a wowcher deal so the price was cheap - to cheap if you ask me but if we didn't have this, main courses were £25 each which is Michelin star prices and they are FAR from that.

We had visited Truc Vert twice before and been very impressed, so were pleased when we saw a Wowcher offer for a 3 course meal for 2 and bottle of prosecco. When we arrived on Saturday evening, there were hardly any customers - not a good sign. It also seemed like there had been a change of ownership and staff. While the prosecco was ok, the food was not good at all.We had the pate and charcuterie to start. The pate looked and tasted cheap, and the meat on the charcuterie platter was so tough and chewy it was almost impossible to eat. The cheese was just little slices with lots of rind. The bread, which had been a highlight of the previous visits, was dry and stale. Onto the main courses - we both opted for burgers as almost everything else was off the menu or we had to pay extra, They were not good, and I was not convinced they were Wagyu beef. Very disappointing.Onto desserts and my chocolate fondant, while looking promising, was cold in the middle. My husband didn't enjoy his either. We won't be back - even with a Wowcher.

Visited on late afternoon on Monday on way to a show. Welcomed and seated by a very friendly waiter and given menus. Informed him we had purchase a wowcher deal and he immediately went to fetch our bottle of Prosecco....excellent! We ordered Seafood Chowder and French Onion soup for starters. The bread was brought to the table (plenty of it) very quickly shortly followed by the starters. What can I say....the soup was the best I've tasted! My friend was also very happy with her seafood chowder. I ordered the Wagyu Burger again cooked just as I requested and to perfection. My friend ordered the risotto with a side salad. When she hadn't finished it all the waiter (Alam) was quick to check everything was ok with the meal at which she pointed out it was beautiful she was just saving a space for her Crème Brulee! It was gorgeous! I had emailed them at the time of booking to ask them to make me an extra bread and butter pudding as advised to do so by the lovely lady at the front of house when on a previous visit they had sold out and sure enough she made sure extra was made so I didn't miss out again. Its all about customer satisfaction with them and they certainly have 2 very satisfied customers in us. Great food, great staff and a great experience. Went with Wowcher offer; can't fault it. Delicious (plentiful) food, good service and great music provided by 2 young Irish guitarists. It was a good atmosphere too - everyone obviously having same deal as us and clearly enjoying it. I struggled to eat it all! Service nice, am surprised by some of the other reviews but maybe they've changed the staff recently. Some dishes had a supplement and they added service too, but for £20 a head for the 3 courses and a whole bottle of Prosecco, it's amazing value for money.

I have eaten here before and i have always had a good experience.not this time I' m afraid to say. For 30 mins the staff argued with us and each other about what was included in my wowcher deal. Not a good start....we eventually ordered a trio of salmon with avocado mouse. One sort of smoked salmon arrived with no avocado mouse.instead 1/2 tsp. of black, chopped avocado and a plate of stale white bread. Oh dear, what has happened to the lovely fresh assortment of different bread usually served in Truc Vert? Our main course of lamb shank with vegetables and wild rice then appeared, but not a vegetable in sight, but plenty of fat thats for sure. We then ordered a rhubarb dessert and a cheese platter. After a 15 minute wait we were told the rhubarb was not available so apple tartin with clotted cream was ordered. Eventually it arrived without clotted cream. No apology at any stage for all these omissions. The cheese platter arrived...Oh my goodness.the cling film it was served on had about 20 pieces of cheese on it. They were the size of the nail on my little finger.50% of the cheese was rind and with it came another plate of stale white bread.we both wondered if the chef had a night off and their delivery of fresh food had failed to turn up. Whatever the reason for this truly awful experience, surely we deserved an apology or at the very least an explanation from the rather inefficient staff.

We wanted to have lunch at NAC next door (excellent on all fronts, by the way), but being a Saturday afternoon it was packed out, so we decided to sit next door at Truc Vert. Our waiter, who must have been around 18-19 years old, was rude, condescending and arrogant. He took our order and didn't write anything down, returned five minutes later to confirm the order and then after bringing out the wrong items, asked us if we "were sure" that we had not ordered them. I asked for suggestions of a nice white wine and he replied, "I don't know because I don't drink white wine" - absolutely awful. We were ready to get up and leave at this point, but the other waiting staff were very nice and helpful, so we decided to stay. When we got the bill we noticed that we hadn't been brought the bottle we ordered, but a bottle that was £10 more expensive. After querying this, another member of staff apologised and explained that this is a common occurrence here (!) Plus, it smells very stale and funky indoors. Completely overrated place and can only get away with the prices it charges because of the location. My recommendation? Book/ wait for a table next door at NAC....

Enjoyed a lovely meal here the other evening, but the night was not without its shortcomings. The restaurant is evident that it has been at its location for some time, with the decor pleasantly rustic on some sides, whilst dusty and damaged in others. Lighting was quite low, with chandeliers sporting blown light bulbs, and one candle on the table to accommodate, made the atmosphere near on dreary rather than intimate. Napkins were paper towels, not cotton, as you would expect in this kind of establishment, and the menu detailed dishes which turned up to the table with slight alterations not mentioned beforehand. A trio of salmon described to be served with avocado mousse, was served with big avocado pieces, steak and linguini was actually steak and spaghetti. That being said the flavours were there. We ordered the carpet bag steak, which was an amazingly succulent piece of meat. Medium rare cooked to perfection, so the chef should be commended for that. All in all the food although not consistent with the menu tasted great. The service couldn't be faulted, the South African born hostess made us feel welcome, looked after us and she clearly has an affinity with people. She was attentive, polite and gave light anecdotal chatter to accompany a pleasant evening. There is however necessary work to be done at the restaurant. I don't know of the history of the place, but a light revamp may be in order. For all the great taste and great service you can understand why Truc Vert is 3.5/5 and not 4-4.5/5. Decor change, better lighting, menu consistency, and better attention details such as the paper napkins and blown light bulbs would benefit the restaurant. It should be mentioned I attended using a wowcher voucher, so I can appreciate that efforts may be different on another night. But with adjustments, there would be no need to even consider offering wowcher deals to attract customers. Normal prices don't currently reflect value for money if you take into account all factors involved.I would visit again, providing standards were risen

I've thought long and hard about writing this, because I do realise the impact of a bad review, but, on balance I thought it was worth doing, I wasn't happy with the service I received. We bought a deal on Wowcher (one of those, maybe not Wowcher), a meal with a bottle of Prosecco. When we arrived, we were given a choice of tables, which was a plus point. The Prosecco came up almost immediately, certainly before we were settled at the table. At the time, I didn't think that was a huge deal, although I would have preferred to settle myself first. We were given two menus, the a la carte and the prix fixed. The waitress explained that there would be a £3 surcharge on some of the dishes (she detailed them). No problem there. A waiter came over to take our order, I asked for information about the charcuterie plate (it said it was a selection of cold meats, I don't eat beef or lamb. I realise that is my issue, and I can generally find dishes that meet my needs but I do need to ask). The waiter could only tell me a couple of the meats, so I asked to confirm whether there was any beef or lamb - the waiter was able to confirm this for me. He then told me there was an option for all meat, all cheese or a combination, which is what I chose. When the starters came up (my friend had the sardine on bruschetta) we were both very pleased. The sardine was hot and there were lots of vegetables - it looked lovely. My charcuterie plate was delicious too.My friend ordered calves liver. I probably should say here that I haven't eaten any calf meat since I was 16 years old, for personal reasons, but that does mean I am no expert in the calf meat area. My friend, however, likes her meat. I chose trout. Disappointy, both dishes were cold when they arrived (we had waited some time, so I suspect that some or all had been plated up before it was all ready. That doesn't matter. I expect my food to be hot if it is meant to be hot.). We called the waitress over and told her the food was cold. She was not particularly gracious about this but took the plates. After a while, we received our new dishes. My food was fine, although it tasted more like salmon than trout to me (I am perfectly willing to be told, as I was, that I was wrong, but I will come back to that, I like both). However, my friend did not like her liver. As I have already said, I can't comment on that, I don't eat calves liver, and have not had liver of any kind for over 20 years. Notwithstanding that, I finished mine, and it did taste good, my friend ate her vegetables but left the liver. No-one came to check that we were happy, but when the waitress came to clear the plates, my friend told her that she wasn't happy with the liver, it was the worst she had ever had. The response: Everyone else says it's the best ever. The next thing I knew was that the chef was standing next to me, with the waitress, with a fillet of raw fish, pointing out to me that this was trout. The waitress said that he was not happy that my friend had complained about the liver, but he didn't say a word to her. Don't get me wrong, I can take any argument from anyone, but why show me a piece of fish when I didn't complain about it? My friend told the waitress it was salmon not trout, but she was unhappy about her meal and yet he said not one word to her. I found this behaviour quite bizarre, and frankly, unacceptable. We asked to- and were allowed - to swap dessert for coffee, which was permitted, but they still presented up with a bill for £8.35 (remember, we had already paid on Wowcher) for the £3 supplement for the liver and the service charge. Needles to say, I didn't pay the service charge, for the following reasons: 1. Prosecco brought up before we were settled. No other drinks were offered. Had we wanted anything else, we should have been quite prepared to pay. 2. The first waiter wasn't sure of his products and should have been. 3. When we complained that the food was cold the attitude changed. 4. No-one checked that we were happy with our meal. 5. I found the chef's behaviour toward me strange in the extreme. By all means, tell me that I am wrong, but please also acknowledge that my friend has a complaint. I would not go back again, for me, there should at least have been some acknowledgement that the food was cold first time, rather than becoming difficult. I thought that the customer was always right (and if they are not, make them think they are).

Visited this restaurant initial reception great, but this soon changed when I complained that the food was cold. The Australian waitress adopted a very different attitude thereafter, the calves liver was the worst I have ever tasted and when mentioned to the happy waitress was informed all of the other customers had been complimentary about them. So much for my opinion, needless to say this is not somewhere I will be re-visiting in a hurry. To add insult to an already unpleasant meal a service charge was automatically added and a £3 supplement for the unedible calves liver. Not a problem happily paid the supplement as I did order the liver, as for the service that left a lot to be desired.

On my first visit I raved about it and recommended it to everyone. The last twice I have been there I have left slightly disappointed and I can't really put my finger on why? It just seems a little less charming, a little bit less countryside French. I may seem that I am saying I won't be going back but that's not the case because it is still better than most of the other places I visited it just that it seems to me to have slipped a little.

Came here for breakfast and a business meeting recently and was disappointed in the service. The people themselves were friendly but it seemed to take a really long time to get our food. The waitress and I spent some time discussing how I wanted my egg cooked for the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel I ordered yet when I received the sandwich, it had no egg at all present. A different waiter brought out our food but completely forgot to bring my wife's dish out to her until we asked about it several minutes later. If the place were packed with customers I might understand some disorganization or delays but it was fairly empty when we ordered. Like I said earlier, the food itself was good but it seems they need to spend some time working on their systems to get you in and out of their faster and make sure they have your order done correctly.

Overall it's a good deal £39 for 3 course meal plus bottle of proscetto, although I would not have wanted to pay full price for the same food. We enjoyed the chilled out live music (on Friday eves) and staff were attentive. The starters were tasty, but my partner had the pork belly for mains and it was extremely fatty with only the smallest bit of actual meat. We fed this back to the waiter, who gave us another glass of proscetto to try and make up for it. To be honest the proscetto was not very nice so we left it. Have had 2 business breakfast meetings here, the food is always very good but the service seems to let the place down. The full breakfast is really good with quality ingredients. The pancakes are also very good, spend some time training the front of house.

We were given a 3 course meal and a bottle of prosseco for christmas. We finally used it in April due to personal circumstances. The staff were very helpful in extending the voucher, when we finally turned up, I had read the deal wrong and booked a lunch rather then the evening meal but they accomodated us and we had a lovely time. The food was well cooked, very full when we left. i would definitely recommend the voucher deal but the staff were very pleasant.

We visited on a week day, busy lunch time around 1.30pm. The menu had enticed us in and it didn't disappoint at all. I had the smoked salmon quiche salad. My daughter had the smoked chicken salad starter and we shared the battered/fried courgettes. All of the food was gorgeous and the portion sizes were good. It just took too long from start to finish. The waitresses were very nice and friendly but they were too stretched. I hadn't researched this place before visiting but can see this has been a previous complaint from others.

Had a voucher for a 3 course meal with a bottle of Prosecco. Pity so many of the dishes come with a supplement as only 2 were on the deal we bought! They had also run out of white wine! The food was delicious. Had a flavoursome Smoked salmon starter(not the triple salmon as on the menu - run out of this as well? ) while my husband enjoyed the charcuterie that comes with bread which kept me going, as we had to wait ages for the food to arrive for each course as there was only one chef working on a busy Saturday night! Have been several times before but the owner seems to be neglecting it - no white tablecloths this time and overworked staff. The location is ideal for Oxford St shopping and outside tables for the sunshine. The lunch menu looks delicious but with so many other restaurants nearby in this Mayfair location investment needs to be done in terms of staff and resources for satisfied customers.

Have visited this restaurant many times and it seems to be getting worse each time. I feel sorry for the staff employed as they have to work really hard. On Saturday which is a very busy time they only had one chief and 3 others in the restaurant. We had to wait 20 minutes to get a drink. The food was excellent and big portions so congratulations to the chief. It took ages to get each course as stated (only one chief as stated was the reason). Many wines not available(virtually no white wine as was reflected by empty wine shelves). It is time the owner woke up and realised you can not just go on past reputation as customers will look on sites such as Tripadvisor and consequently go elsewhere. Thanks to hard working staff but only moans to owner. Not a place anymore if you not a quick meal. Will have to think hard as to if we will return.

Visited yesterday for dinner. We had purchased a wowcher so had a three course meal with wine. The best thing about our visit was the waitress Kathline, as she was attentive and friendly. Situated just a few roads off Oxford street the location is great, not a large resturant and other than the toilets which are situated downstairs the seating is Oenone level. The menu I have to say was disappointing, as half of the choices on the mains carried a supplement if we wanted them. The goats cheese starter very good, I had the pate but you only get bread no toast. The carpet bag steak my husband enjoyed although the steak was over cooked and paid the supplement. Our desserts one of which I had to send back as it was cold in the middle was fine when it was replaced. Kathline did appologise and made amends for these errors, but would I return, no.

Having read the recent reviews I was looking forward to visiting Truc Vert, too be honest I wish I had gone elsewhere. Having ordered poached eggs on wholemeal toast the breakfast eventually arrived with white toast. We asked for this to be replaced which eventually it was but not before the eggs were cold. We tried to attract the attention of the solitary waitress but she was far too busy dealing with the steadily filling restaurant. I'm not sure what the manageress was doing but at this point she certainly wasn't helping her colleague. Having been joined by our daughter we ordered pancakes which took an age to arrive. When they were eventually placed before us they were missing an essential item - a knife and fork! The manargeress, who by now was assisting her colleague, said that she would get my daughter some cutlery but disappeared out the front of the restaurant to talk with somebody. Not wanting the pancakes to go the same way as the eggs, my wife asked the waitress for a knife and fork. She was greeted incredulously with "a fork" which didn't really seam like an outrageous request!! All in all the Truc Vert breakfast, poached eggs on toast, 2 x latte, 1 x pot of tea for two, pancakes and an orange juice certainly didn't seem worth the £43:49 we were charged. All in all very disappointing

Visited Valentine's Saturday evening, and probably got last table because it's just pleasantly tucked away between Oxford Street and Grosvenor Square.Relaxed atmosphere and closes 22:00 so there's no slowness on service to keep you longer than you want. Generous with bread rather than starve you into a pudding you didn't really want.Valentine's £24 for 2 courses looked a good selection, but we went a la carte from comforting simple selection (you know they can make every selection very well) which came to £93 inc. 12.5% service (standard in West End) and 2 glasses of wine (whole bottles starting from around chain prices). As a previous reviewer said, if in the area would revisit, just wouldn't specially spend a £12 taxi fare to get over there - unless I had this Wowcher deal other reviewers mentioned

We hadn't been here for a couple of years, and when I booked the Wowcher offer, I was disappointed reading some of the more recent reviews.. But you can only judge on what you find, and this was really very good. £20 per head, 3 courses and a bottle of Prosecco to share and it was hard to go wrong, and we didn't. A large plate of smoked salmon and an excellent French Onion soup to start.. Seabass and a Wagyu burger for mains, chocolate fondant and cheese to finish. Throw in some lovely bread, a good atmosphere and pleasant service and there it was, an absolute bargain if you get the offer.

My husband and I were given a Wowcher for Christmas by our son for Truc Vert. I must admit I read the reviews and was a little nervous about what we may experience, read on. We were greeted by friendy staff who explained what dishes were available including specials. Being a cold wet afternoon we started with french onion soup which was lovely. I had the most amazing salmon quiche and my husband had Toulous sausages which he said was very tasty. We had light desserts and coffee. The deal included a bottle of prosecco. We intended returning in the summer and hope to take our children and partners along. Try it, like it and enjoy, great find in the city. The lovely young waitress even took the time to take a picture for outside the restaurant .

While working in the area, I was looking for a dependable restaurant where I could have a varied menu for daily lunching--Truc Vert fit the bill and more! It soon became my "go to" spot for lunch. Now when I visit London, I try to always include in my itinerary. Great choice of wine, interesting, seasonal menu choices that deliver both on classic and more innovative selections, but always good value and good dining. A very reliable establishment. Setting is quaint, informal but welcoming. You can't go wrong here...

Went last night on a Wowcher deal with some friends. Very intimate venue. We were very close to a couple sitting on a table next to us. Was busy - but no live music which is advertised.Trio of Salmon had by all but myself. All clean plates. I had soft shell crab in an American sauce. Was good, sauce was spicy so beware if that's not to your taste.I had Lemon Sole. Shame it was cold.Wagyu Beef Burger looked very good.Loin of Venison was apparently lovely. As was the calves liver. For dessert they had run out of 3 options which members of the group wanted. The Orange bread and butter pudding was good. Chocolate Fondant and Vanilla Cheesecake received well and some decent flavoured ice cream.Proseco was good too. Considering they sell it for £28 a bottle, it makes the deal pretty good value.I enjoyed the evening. Couple of points would have increased rating but all in all fairly good.

We were tempted to try this restaurant by a special voucher offer of £39 for 3 courses for two and a bottle of Prosecco which they were happy to change for a bottle of white wine of a similar value. The waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. When I mentioned I was a bit chilly, they immediately adjusted the heating next to us. The menu choices and any supplements were explained to us so that we could mix a la carte with the prix fixe menu items. The starter of sauteed chicken livers was good and pink. However the chosen main of pork belly had to be sent back as it was extremely tough. We were immediately offered any alternative we wanted from the menu and the resulting hamburgers were cooked just right with excellent fries. Desserts of fruit crumble and panna cotta were also very good. The regular pricing of the a la carte and prix fixe menus is fairly reasonable for this area of the West End and with the very positive attitude of the staff, I would be inclined to try here again in spite of the dreadful pork belly. Another point in their favour is that the service charge was applied only to the voucher value and not the regular menu prices as most other restaurants seem to do.

I had a surprise meal here with my boyfriend for my birthday. We were running at least 30 minutes late, we called and they luckily could still fit us in; which we were very greatful for. First impressions, it looks like a quirky posh coffee shop. There were candles on the table it was very romantic and we had a very warm welcome. We had a bottle of prosecco bought straight to us and got told about the £3 supplement on certain dishes if, we decided to order off of the set menu (we didn't mind at all). The set menu did offer a good selection but you always want what you can't have.. So we did mix and match between the two menusThe food was lovely, soup and pate selection for starters. Then the loin of venison and a fish dish for mains. For dessert it was amazing, my boyfriend got ice cream and I got the pannacotta. It came out with a candle and the staff sang, it was very unexpected and I did get really overwhelmed from it all (definitely shed a couple of tears). Although, it was a wowcher deal, we didn't feel treated any different and felt the food was up to a very decent standard. I don't feel I can complain about the extra supplements or be nip picky as for £40 for two people to have 3 decent courses and a bottle of prosecco in central London is unheard of and was extremely worth it. The location is up a side street from selfridges which gives it a nice quiet and intimate atmosphere; away from the busy main part of London, with hoards of last minute Christmas shoppers. We absolutely loved our experience here and would definitely visit again. So thank you to all of the staff for making my birthday that extra little bit special :)

Well I ended up here by default. I had bought a Wowcher deal for Gigi's in Mayfair which I have been to before and the deal is fantastic. It was the Saturday before Christmas and they were fully booked. Not surprisingly! I had seen a Wowcher offer for Truc Vert on similar terms £39.00 for three courses for two including a bottle of Prosecco. Sounds good.I phoned to book a table for the same Saturday and after metaphoric sharp intake of breath I was told they could squeeze me in at 8.30.pm.On arrival there were about four occupied tables and about 20 empty. And that's how it remained all evening. Not big on atmosphere.Okay the food. Firstly we were told that since the inception of the 'deal' several items now attracted a £3.00 supplement. For starters we ordered the Charcuterie platter and the trio of smoked salmons. Both okay. Nothing special but okay. For the main course we both ordered halibut ( a substitute for the Turbot). What arrived was a tiny piece of halibut with some vegetables swimming in oil. One taste and it was as bad as it looked. After discussing this with whom I would guess was the owner, who was apologetic and very accommodating, and was happy to change the dishes, we ordered the loin of venison and calves liver. Both were extremely good. Dessert was a chocolate mousse, not a light fluffy one (that's not a complaint and we were told this) it was more like a ganache. Also good. The other dessert was a mixed berry crumble. The mixed berries were good the crumble topping was uncooked. Altogether Not wonderful but the 'new' main courses were the highlight. Certainly not expensive for three courses and a (good) bottle of Prosecco.

We went there with my girlfriend for a night out. The place itself it's a mix between rustic atmosphere and a coffee shop. I'd prefer something more romantic but it wasn't that bad either. Food was fine. I did like the choice and dishes were well cooked and reasonable sized. The service was ok. not the most friendly or attentive but still correct. The very bad point was the ever lasting waiting time to get served. 45min for the Starters and another 40min for the mains... Price is not cheap but I guess it's Mayfair's price. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

Terrible service, I was even asked by one of your members of staff “do you have enough money”, the audacity! I don’t think this is something my wife and I should ever want to hear when trying to relax after enjoying a meal, DISGRACEFUL. On a positive note the food was nice, great flavour and great presentation, highly recommend them chunky chips (very filling). I would recommend but doubt that any future customers would like to be asked if they have enough money at the end of their meal lol.
