Available in September 2022 An affordable Italian restaurant. It seems like you can order and pay by yourself using the QR code, but I wasn't sure what to do, so I called a staff member for both.

I recently enjoyed a quick dinner at your restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were attentive and knowledgeable, especially Judy. She is just a gorgeous person, professional, with a lovely smile. Thank you so much Judy and the team 😘

I don’t usually do Italian food when taking my wife for dinner. We took a chance and ordered dishes that were totally unfamiliar. Two exceptional meals. Sometimes taking a chance is the way to go. Drinks were also fabulous.

Me and my partner really like eating at Ask Italian, however we usually would eat in the chain version of it in Durham. Tonight we tried out the restaurant in London, and safe to say it was not as expected. The food was enjoyable, however the service was nothing in comparison. The staff did not come back to check about our food or drinks. When I asked for some extra cheese for our meals only one of us was offered it (not me, who actually asked for it). We were aware from previous experience that they add a tip so we knew to ask without it, but apart from stating it on the receipt, the waitress did not mention it verbally. We were also not offered the sample lemonade at the start, where it was clearly being on offer, however we did not receive it. Bill request at the end also took a while, probably around 10 minutes, despite multiple eye contact with waiters being made.

Correct Italian restaurant, which we tried for having well-specified gluten-free options. The pasta had already been cooked previously and they reheated it in the microwave before serving it, so the quality is not top, but it is better than it was a while ago. Food with gluten is good. Fast and correct service.

Excellent service, with warm and friendly staff. We had a 25th birthday celebration with a massive cake and they were so accommodating and helpful. The food was good and the ambience was really nice. We were a large group and nothing seemed like too much trouble when we had several drinks orders, needed to bring up the cake, Would definitely recommend and visit again! Fantastic service to start and bringing us into the cozy atmosphere and when the food arrived we were blown away!

The host and the elderly lady i’m the next table was the only one that was smiling. The food was nothing special. i just wanted to eat quickly and leave. And as a tourist it was really disappointing would not recommend.

Ambience good. The staff seemed unmotivated and a bit stressed, even though the number of visitors was very manageable. We never asked if everything was good, etc. Except for probably the pizzas, the food wasn't freshly prepared. Such as the desserts and lasagne... Food average, wouldn't come back.

Good Italian food restaurant. Great quality. Friendly waiters. Attention on Saturdays, without a reservation you usually don't have a place.

Ask are usually pretty good and this is no exception. Staff particularly attentive and engaging! For none Londoners - remember - 10% tip is now added to your bill…

Such a cute place with a good selection of Italian food, Malwa was our waitress and she was great. They made it a point to ask about our friends food allergies and to accommodate accordingly.

Great service, the food was extremely quick to be served and the staff were extremely kind! We were welcomed with tasty lemonade, there was a wide variety of vegan options, and they were extra cautious with nut allergies. I would definitely recommend!

The restaurant is nice for those who love Italian food. We ordered pizza, pasta, and risotto, but I didn’t like the risotto.

I actually tried a new dish, Burrata Carbonara which was delicious plus an Aperol Spritz. Great location, just around the corner from Oxford St

The food is reasonable and the margherita pizza is delicious The service was bad. It took us about 15 minutes to wait even though there were empty tables Their service is literally bad. The table we sat on was unclean, and I finished it when they offered us lemonade. Half of it was on the table. I wish I had gone back and cleaned it. It took us 15 minutes for the food to arrive Payment time is required by tip!! This means that on top of the bad service and disgust, we pay in full and including the tip! I don't think I will return to him I care a lot about customer service

The food was awful ! Really disappointed the pasta over cooked and had no flavour the starters the same .Service was good very polite and friendly the only positive thing about the restaurant.

It was our first visit to Ask Italian restaurant at London , the food and the service was beyond amazing . We tried it twice and every time was better than the other. The waitress Malva was the nicest person I have ever met in London , her welcoming smile was magnificint and Ask Italian restaurant is soooo lucky to have such a nice person like Malva ♥️♥️♥️

I had a brisket pasta which was reasonably good and my son had a pizza which was something to be desired. It seemed over cooked and dry, he only ate half. Service seemed just good enough to get by but it made me feel like they felt they had better things to do. I felt a bit like I was in an Italian assembly line of them pumping out food, serving and then getting us out the door.

Our server malwa was excellent. Great place lovely good.

Had a lovely experience here last night We walked in off the street with no reservation , staff were really helpful and found us a table and recommended meals I could have as I’m gluten intolerant , will definatley be returning on my next visit to London

I would give the staff 5 stars they are fast, friendly and around all the time. The decorations and the smell of the restaurant really good. They offer welcome lemon juice was fine as well. However, the prawns were dry nothing special about it. Mushrooms were stuffed with little cheese and for somehow watery. I don’t know how to describe it but when you bite the mushroom it is mostly water. The bread under both dishes were burnt. The pasta in one word tasteless, I asked for salt just to taste something. I loved this Italian restaurant. I find it hard to rate restaurants 5 stars but this was very close. I ordered the calzone, lasagne strawberry spritz and passion fruit spritz along with the chocolate Etna. The calzone and lasagne were packed with flavour and tasted very fresh, the calzone especially had a little bit of heat as entailed in its description on the menu. The Etna unfortunately was too hard for the hot caramal sauce to melt though, however, it was nicely balance with the dense brownie and ice cream that it was paired with. I would highly recommend what I grabbed as well as the brownie instead of the Etna. It's definitely a place to take your friends with you after a day out at Selfridges which is about a 10 minute walk from here.

We have been coming to this ask italian branch for a while and everytime we come everything is excellent and the manager Malwa is very friendly and welcoming.

I just wanted a take away meal to have it in my room since I had a long day. As I came in the restaurant mana was having dinner behind the bar and when I approached to order food he said/ I am not taking orders you should need to someone on the floor. One of the waiters did ask what i wanted and I said that I needed first the menu to check it . Finally another waiter came took me the order “ a Malanxane pizza” and he charged me straight away. I must say at 22pm I didn’t want to go to find another restaurant. This Italian restaurant definately need improvement in the service. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

Food was standard for an Italian restaurant, however the service was a let down. We stood at the door for 15 minutes, waiting for someone to acknowledge us, and the other customers. I could understand if they were extremely busy, but we had a table booked, and the restaurant was not full. After being sat down, we found it drafty, and the tables were too close together for an 'intimate dinner'. Servers were not very welcoming, and added a tip for themselves without checking with us.

Have eaten here twice and can thoroughly recommend it. Lovely food, and great, friendly service. Excellent.

Stopped in here after a hop on hop off bus ride. We were pretty hungry. Margarita pizza, caprese and chocolate Etna were awesome. Highly recommend

I ordered the pasta bolognese - pretty average. Not bad but nothing special. I also had a salad. Overall average place that’s affordable. Server wasn’t very attentive though.

Well what can I say, my favourite ask Italian to come to in London. The staff are always attentive, sam who welcomed me in was very friendly and helpful about allergy queries, our food was 10/10 served in a timely manner. Great restaurant. Fantastic staff. Will be back soon

We had a great visit on a recent trip to London, the food was fab and service was excellent. I don’t usually leave reviews but the staff were so friendly and kind to our children, we will definitely go back.

Never been more disappointed. Food was the worst I ever had in ask. We usually go to deferent brand where we love to dine. We ordered our usual dishes so know what we will get. Pizzas was bland, tasteless and not that hot. But the worst was my chicken lasagne as was cold. No one check as when we was eating so couldn't say and staff was hard to get attention. One thing good that they take lasagne off the bill. We left with big disappointment and would never go back

I actually ate at this place on 12/27/2023: Do you like Italian? If so, go there to eat! The food was great and the service was polite and professional. I had the lasagna with the added grande portion and it was good! The establishment was pleasant to eat in. Although, I did not use the restroom facilities, so I can’t speak to that. I would definitely go back to eat there again.

Lugar é limpo, organizado, comida boa e atendimento excelente. A garçonete Edi foi muito simpática, proativa e atenciosa.

Our server was forgetting our drink and messing up our orders. There was no wait to get in the door, but I understand why now. Our dish was under seasoned and my dish had over cooked pasta. And the bathroom was destroyed, looked like a tornado went through. I would recommend skipping.

First visit to Ask and did not disappoint! Excellent menu selection matched by personal speedy service from the customer hospitality team. Impressed by having some flexibility in the menu and for someone actually taking the time to ask for any allergies. Thanks to Ellen for the warm welcome with home made lemonade. We’ll be back soon.

Today I went to this restaurant and it blew my mind! The food was amazing, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was perfect. I can't wait to go back!

Service was incredibly slow. We asked if we could speak to the waiter, they told us to “wait a minute” whilst they cleaned the table, did they come back and speak to us? No.

Great food - we all enjoyed what we had. A mistake was made with order - fixed immediately and with no fuss at all so great (and we ended up keeping the incorrect item for free so even better!). Good vegetarian and gluten free options.

I went without a reservation and they said it was full, despite seeing a lot of empty tables. Anyway, the lady said you had to get a reservation. After 30 minutes, I found a slot online, and when she saw I was still waiting, she told me to have a reservation and I told her I had already booked my table. She said that doesn't work this way, so I asked her, what do you mean?she said I should reserve from yesterday, I told her well your system allowed me to reserve now, she didn' like it and after 30 min. We were seated and the tables were empty until we left, around 1:30 hr later. I don't know what her problem is, she didn't want to seat us and said the restaurant was full, which isn't true. and she did the same thing with my friends.

I organised my office Christmas lunch last week for almost 60 people at the Ask Italian in Park Street London. It was a great afternoon, the vibe was great, the food was great and the service was organised and efficient with the nicest staff! I definitely recommend and will be booking in for next year too!!

Nevertheless the restaurant was packed with customers and people were queuing outside we had a great evening. Staff were amazing and once seated food was served in timely manner. Staff was friendly , and our waiter Sam was extremely friendly, professional , and genuinely helpful, he charmed the guest with his radiant smile and sunny personalities.Nevertheless was really busy we never felt hurried, staff was working smoothly, and you could see they were well organized. Food was delicious, my Margherita was perfect. I had also dessert an was lovely.
