Ikea Restaurant in Thurrock

The queue was too long. By the time we had queued to pay for the food and sat down it was cold. Finding a clean table was nearly impossible. The food was bland. The Danish Pastry was as hard as concrete. Most of the coffee machines were switched off causing further queues Never again!!!

Cold fish and chips is that the new Swedish delicacy? That it what we got at Milton Keynes Ikea. We used to love their food but not any more. No wonder the queue wasn’t as long as before

I suspect the food is a loss leader, i.e. they sell a cheap breakfast to get shoppers into the store who then stay on and buy household goods. The food is good and follow the Ikea pattern, if you buy a bacon roll you get a roll with bacon on the side and you have to assemble it. Not somewhere to visit for a feed but if you plan to shop there arrive early and eating is probably easier and cheaper than eating at home.

There are alot of families that visit the cafe and often with young children. This can create mess that doesn't seem to ne cleaned up by the staff often. Tables and chairs are dirty and covered in leftover food or sauces. Overall the experience is good with a wide range of foods and veggie or vegan alternatives. Today I enjoyed a slice of vegan chocolate cake and a cup of coffee. While the cake and coffee were great, I was disappointed that there were no alternative milks which would've been a welcome addition None the less, a pleasant place for lunch or a drink and a snack mid-shop in IKEA

I visited ikea thurock yesterday to purchase two wardrobes was told they do deliveries and would have to pay and take items to delivery desk. We paid for items to be delivered and paid the extra for items to be carried into property. We were told that we could have the delivered the same day and they deliver up to 10pm at night. The company name who Ikea recommends in store is SHIFT wel we waited up and no delivery was made. To try and contact this company is near impossible to get hold of. My son sent a message to say where is our wardrobes We received a message to say a bloke named Mahsood had delivered it. We are still trying to find out where the hell our stuff is. Looking at the reviews for this company why is it IKEA is still recommending them to their customers. Come on IKEA are your customers not worth finding a better company to deliver your goods in store.

Avoid like the plague. Only one person in the till causing rather large queues. None of the coffee machine were working correctly when I asked a member of staff to help John is his name, said what do you want me to do!!!! I said some help and your manager. John then refused to get me the manager even after asking him twice, his reply was NO. After asking another team member for the manager, can’t remember her name (lovely lady) this all went on for around 20 minutes, our food was cold and still no coffee. When the manager came, to be fair she couldn’t do enough for us (thank you) but as for JOHN, IKEA you need to dismiss him as he is not good for your business. Just had a lunch with my partner here. Everything was clean, the food was basic, but delicious. Its always worth to try swedish meatballs. Never let you down.

How simple is it to make sure you have sweetner available…..no sweetner, no sugar sachets just a pot of sugar with a spoon shoved in it……very poor.

Looking forward to having something to eat here but sadly, that was short-lived. Barely anything in the fridge displays but the menu board looked promising. I liked the idea of plant-based balls but as there were only about a dozen sitting in the tray, I asked if I could have some fresh ones. The emphatic answer was "No! You have to have these ones" So I decided instead to go for the veggie balls. At least the tray was full, so it looked as if they were freshly delivered. As I tucked in, I realised they were tepid, not very warm or even hot. I ate 3 or 4 but gave up. I couldn't be bothered to do anything about it especially with the same counter staff who was rude to an elderly man who was hard of hearing. Sadly, I ended up with a Dehli Belly! Another one crossed off the list.

Went to Ikea Lakeside on 13th August 2021. Our first stop was the resturant. There were 2 queues. Unfortunately we made the wrong choice by opting for the one that was the slowest and had 1 member of staff unlike the other queue that had three. We did not realise this until 10 minutes in. Eventually we waited 30 minutes to be served. In the meanwhile, I had the misfortune to watch someone in the kitchen dividing the apple slice desserts with their bare hands. They were picking up the slices and breaking them apart and putting them onto plates. Their mask was only partially covering their mouth. It was an unhygienic sight. I asked to see the manager to ask that another member of staff was put on the counter and to ask about their food safety standards this as 20 minutes into the waiting time. I was told that the manager, Roxanne, was having lunch and would be back in 45 minutes. In the meanwhile, there were four members of staff at the back of the kitchen who all came out to see who wanted to see the manager. Surely one of those members of staff could have assisted the woman on the counter! By the time I was served I had lost enthusiasm and unfortunately the person serving me did not know the difference between the vegetable balls and the plant based balls. It was also her job to hand out cultery which either she forgot to do - as was in my case and many others - or she had to go to the other counter to stock up on forks or knives etc. This all occured at the height of the lunch rush hour. We started queing at around 12.30 p.m. When I eventually spoke with Roxanne who seemed like a very young woman who lacked the experience of customer care, she did not appear particularly concerned about the wait time and initially offered the excuse of being short staffed until it was pointed out the counter ratio. Overall very poor customer care and the food was warm. We are living in testing times and to see someone handle food like that was disgusting and for there not to be mangerial oversight of a busy kitchen in the height of rush hour was shocking! Customer care 0/10. Food 1/10. Food hygiene 0/10.

Not many people in the for food so that was good as we had a long way to travel . The food was nice and hot and a good choice of seats .

We went today and we were really excited (it's the closest thing I can get to the Nordics what with Covid), we arrived and it was abit confusing to book in, they said there were no tables only at 10.38am but I can book a table for 10.30am (which we did), the woman and man were lovely..we queued up, not much social distancing but everyone in masks, we noticed alot of food was missing which maybe due to Covid, we ordered the food and I asked for a veggie with no beans or mushrooms, the woman slaps on the beans and the mushrooms which I had to tell the other woman I can not eat it, I am allgeric to chilly which is in alot of baked beans, she was very sorry, there was no replacements though and I paid full price, there was no toast either so I literally had veggie sausage, one tomato, two hash browns, omelette but ok, that's fine. We sat down to eat, I liked how they had the plastic between tables, I prefer that, makes it more private. The food, well, my son barely ate anything, he disliked it very much, my husband was so so and for me, the sausages were very burnt, omelette was cold and my hash brown were uncooked in the middle! Unfortunately it seems the sausage may have some sort of chilly in possibly because I have had a reaction to something in the food but can not find the ingredients online. At the end of shopping we went to the little takeaway bit at the end, the man was lovely, woman, not so much, food was terrible and noone wanted the lemonade, noone liked it. I guess you can not moan as its cheap but omg I wouldn't recommend or ever eat there again. Abit disappointing when you drive 45 minutes to get breakfast there to and its just utterly terrible lol!!

IKEA never used to be this bad. We've had to return 7 items in 3 months due to poor quality. Phones take an hour to answer and they've promised a refund 3 times but it's still outstanding. Guessing they are short of money but they've lost my loyalty

On Saturday I visited Thurrock IKEA with my family. Two had fish & chips one had meatballs & I had Gravadlax. I had eaten around 3 mouthfuls when I noticed something sharp in my mouth. I emptied the food from my mouth into a tissue. I couldn’t believe what I saw. There was a small bird feather in the food. This disgusting thing had been in my mouth. I felt so sick. I asked to speak to management. A lady come over & was absolutely disgusted at what I showed her. I’ve never felt so sick in my life. She wrote a report & said that the item would be sent to Sweden. She said there they would find out where it could of come from, where the salad was prepared or where the salmon come from. To be honest I can’t see either saying it come from there factory. Somewhere, where this food was prepared there’s birds flying around. They refunded my money back but that doesn’t excuse the fact a bird feather could have got into food

Visited IKEA West Thurrock yesterday 8 October 2020. Could not believe what I was seeing! So many people, mainly black and Asian not wearing masks and IKEA staff not questioning them or making them wear masks. Putting so many people at risk. What were they thinking??? Why were they not protecting us and others wearing masks??? We felt very unsafe and left quickly to protect ourselves. I asked one person why they were not wearing a mask and was told to "mind your business". No wonder this virus is spreading. IKEA... sort it out.

We arrived after queuing for about 30 minutes Outside, when we asked about the restaurant we were given a dining slot, in which you have an hour to eat...sounds ok ‍♂️ We went to the restaurant at our allotted time..to join another queue, seated after 10 minutes, then sent one member to order..and waited 35 minutes for it to arrive, semi cold and lacking condiments, the fish tasted old and mushy, the coffee tasted ‘burnt’..very very disappointing, no one to speak to concerning the food and everyone is very distant and no really wanting you to be there..we won’t be returning, my suggestion ..don’t bother!

We ordered 4 breakfast which we where excited to try being our first time in eating here before our big shop and unfortunately found bone in 2 of the sausages - 1 of which my 3 year old daughter was eating - so won’t be eating the breakfast again.

Went for breakfast before taking on the store. It is a good price but it was a Monday morning and they had no tomatoes. They asked if we wanted an extra item to make it up. My wife wanted mushrooms but was told these would be an extra 40p. She said they would be in place of missing tomatoes but they said no they were an extra cost but she could have a 3rd sausage or bacon! Seemed stupid as she did not want a 3rd!!! Shame really as it is good value.

Good food, service very helpful. Quite a long queue most of the time but moves very fast . Will be definitely coming back

I was left to fend for myself as the good lady “followed the yellowbrick road” round ikea. It was early evening so I thought I’d get something to eat. The restaurant was very quiet so I thought the food would be hot at least. I was served by a chap looked like he’d lost the will to live and he acted like it too. No please, thank you or any spark of recognition that I was a paying customer. I realise it’s “only ikea” and the food is basic and cheap but the public still have to pay for it and ultimately pay their wages. The fish was some kind of reconstituted something, the handful of chips were at best warm and the spoon of peas were cold. The place was empty so there was no excuse for cold food. The table was filthy too and there was no sign of anyone cleaning. Next time I’ll drop the missus off and go to maccy d’s or kfc.

Nice views out the windows, and u can refill your tea, cinnamon buns lovely, but, the breakfast is bloody cold, and the egg is watery, this is the second time I’ve tried the breakfast , just Incase the first time it was a bad day, but no, the food still cold , won’t have breakfast again

Only two servers on the hot counters who were running around to try to keep up. Felt very sorry for them. The other staff who were assigned to clearing up looked equally harassed. I asked for the cutlery to be replenished as there were none whatsoever only to be told 'I've just done it'. Well, sorry, do it again. Hubby's fish and chips was going very cold by this time not helped by the long queue at the pay counter. He was given a token for the coffee machine which promptly swallowed it but no coffee was to be seen. By now his fish and chips really were stone cold. Despite this he ate most of the (reconstituted) fish, chips and watery peas. My prawn open sandwich was not as nice as usual due to the change of bread which had turned to mush. Finally, hubby went off to try his luck with another coffee which was so disgusting he couldn't drink it. Please Ikea stop robbing us by providing horrible food and EMPLOY MORE STAFF.

Very disappointing lunch at IKEA, they seem to have changed the recipe of the meatballs and not for the better. Where they always appeared to be quite small and dry which I liked, these were larger and rather wet, the gravy was not good and the lignon berry sauce is now dispensed like ketchup from a bottle, under the Hit miss or maybe banner, definitely a miss.

Ordered a kids meal - fish and chips and peas - the side of the fish was missing the chips was soggy and cold the peas was overcooked. I told one of the staff to change it, but they gave us a new cold fish instead. The drinks machines were out of order. The meatballs were also cold and served with a horrible chips. Very disappointed.

Cheap and cheerful , good value for money I have eaten here before, food is ok cues can be a bit long so in the mean time while your waiting g to pay your meal can get cold but apart from that good value for money .

I went to Ikea food court in West Thurrock yesterday and it took my daughter 1 hour 20 minutes to be served and when she was finally served the food was stone cold. I am diabetic and by the time she came back to our table with the food I had the shakes and felt terrible. Last time I go to Ikea. They have morons serving there.

Just popped in for a bacon roll - Excellent. Only problem was it was busy and only one girl serving so took a while

Great breakfast before hitting the market place. Always lots of choice, always hot and tasty and such good value for money. The best thing about is everyone can have what they want whether a bacon bap or a large full English or a vegeterian breakfast.

Enjoyed a lovely chicken salad sandwhich and a latte. Both lovely and would recommend. Latte was lovely and hot. Nice table which was clean.

We visited Ikea, my daughter loves the free 45 minute play area, and my friend and I shopped. You have to drink tea whilst the children are playing because you only have a limited time and its not enough to shop and pay and return for your child.

A family visit to IKEA to get furniture. The furniture didn't dissapoint but unfortunately the restaraunt did. A key element of the whole visit to IKEA experience is a visit to the food hall. Not this time.

We arrived early Saturday morning and decided to get a quick breakfast before shopping, queued for an absolute age when we got to the counter we were just told no sausages !! Three breakfasts and a child's all thrown onto plates but by the time we queued to pay the food was cold, no clean tables and no cutlery for children. Adults cutlery wasn't washed up well I had to pick through them to find clean knives and forks. The omelette was a congealed circular lump, extra bacon to make up,formno sausage and practically raw half a tomato, such a shame as breakfast was always really good, standard is now very low for the price

I am sitting here in IKEA where I normally come twice a week. After pointing out that they have NO GARNISH anymore on the smoked salmon, I went again for the prawn open sandwich, 12 prawns and a egg, I know that this was made this morning because the egg was fresh, but the SALAD was all brown on the edges, which I know was at least 2 days.old. IKEA is letting standards slip. I would also like to suggest that maybe make one side HOT FOOD and the other side COLD FOOD as I lined up nearly 20 minutes when the other side was closed, when I asked could I nip.over as I only want a sandwich, I was told No. WHY !!!!

Breakfast plates were cold and the food was just plonked on the plates. The beans were then poured over everything else. A bacon roll was just a pale thin bap with 2 slices of overcooked bacon put separately on a cold plate. By the time we got to the checkout, collected our cutlery, prepared our drinks and found a table everything was cold. The only saving grace was the price but I would have preferred to pay a little more for hot plates and food.

Wow we went to get a few items at IKEA lakeside today as it was around. Lunchtime we had to stop for the Shamazing meat balls chips / peas and the fantastic gravy that goes with it . 2 huge meals with drinks £12.50 now that is Shamazing

We usually go to the Southampton Ikea as this is so much nicer than the one in Lakeside.

I had soup and a multigrain roll and my friend has a small prawn salad with mayo and lettuce and a bottle of water - less than £7! The tea and coffee is tree if you have a family IKEA card. It is very busy and you do have to queue but the choice of hot food is good and the service efficient for the volume of people.

IKEA. Iconic institution . You can spend hours , trying to fit your property to your specification . You need a breakfast, to set you up. Its reasonably price . And once consumed, your ready to roll,

We all end up in the blue and yellow place occasionally and since it can take half a day to navigate around the place as you attempt to keep some sense of time in the sensory deprivation tank of the showroom, you often end up thinking, I'll get lunch / dinner here. But yet again I find absolutely nothing that I can eat or nothing that I want to.

I have not been here for years. Literally. Although the distribution centre is not far away, there is no local ikea now that exists nearer than 2 1/2 hours away so have not been able to have a brekky here for years. Went with a friend for a look round and grabbed a breakfast. The last time I was here for breakfast it was vile. This time everything is better quality though the staff seemed to not be able to understand removing items. I don't eat hash browns or omelette so asked not to be put on plate. I don't like waste. That seemed to be a really confusing request. Did I want mushrooms? Oh lovely, yes please. Unfortunately the removal of two items did not quality for mushrooms free but it was still a bargain breakfast so did not bother with a petty moan. Tea on offer left was earl grey which is a required taste that I have not required as yet. But, good quality sausages which is a must, and cooked nicely for the amount they produce. A nice surprise!

Cheap food which is good when quickly stopping while getting some shopping. Have visited many times before and have never had any issues. Only negative is that you have to wait a while when busy!

If you have an IKEA card, then the breakfast (with free coffee) is very good value. It is popular and the twice I've gone I have had to queue. The food is good, but by the time you have queued to pay and queued for coffee, the food is getting cold....would suggest buy food and eat.. then join coffee queue!

Total chaos Luke warm food worst of all dirty cutlery what a terrible terrible mess. Why on earth should you have to sort through cutlery to get something without hard baked food on. Has this ever been health inspected? It needs to be !!

Appalling Service from Ikea Lakeside - GO ELSEWHERE!!

One of the good things about going to Ikea is that after or during your visit to this site you can go for a break in its very nice restaurant. There are plenty of tables & seating areas

I can not tell you what the food is like as the queue was ridiculous. My sister and I queued for 20 minutes and gave up. Not enough staff employed, so queues were crazy. Personally I don't bother as if the company IKEA are too tight to put enough staff on, then I won't be giving them the money. Needless to say we left and had a lovely meal in Costco which was lovely with small queues as they bother to employ staff.

What’s not to like... loads of space to sit, with plenty of high chairs and baby feeding private area if preferred

I had to go to Lakeside twice last week and i called into IKEA for lunch I had their smoked salmon plate with a hot crusty seeded roll, as a person who eats smoked salmon regularly I was very impressed if fact went back next day for the same. I then found out that they sell it down stairs, (never think of looking in their fridges) i bought a packet and it was excellent, so now need to go back for more. RECOMMEND.

We went to Ikea for breakfast yesterday for the first time. We were confused about the various queues and people pushing their food trays around on trolleys and we couldn’t figure out do you get your drinks first then pay, or the other way round? Everyone else seemed to know what they were doing but if you haven’t been there before there is nothing to tell you how it works and we felt like right twits.

We arrived about lunchtime so went straight to the restaurant for our meatballs. Unfortunately the queue was ridiculous but I noticed a soup stand with nobody at it. The sign said Chicken soup so I filled my bowl right up and took a crusty roll. We also had a Cinnamon bun, a cappuccino and a glass of water all for £4.60. The soup was very tasty, but they couldn't fool me, I know it was Leek & Potato. Excellent value but I missed my meatballs!

Staff were trying hard, but too many things weren't going right. Food wasn't quite ready, meaning a queue built up. Queue at the till too, but no one came to open a second till. The card reader wasn't working, meaning the queue grew further. There was no milk in either of the dispensers.

We popped into this Ikea yesterday to pick up a few things and thought it might be a good idea to grab some breakfast. What a mistake that was. The queues where not too bad but with just one person serving it took ages to move on. Then there was only one till open. Then they run out of cups so the queue grew and grew whilst someone was dispatched for cups. By the time we actually paid for our food it had gone cold.

After waiting 15 minutes in line we get to the counter to find out there was no veggie balls or veggie hash left. We were informed they were putting more on and that it won't take too long if we don't mind waiting for them. We waited a further 5 minutes to be told they would be ready in 4 minutes, after waiting another 10 minutes, with our patience quickly running out a young man called Fab thought it would be a good idea to tell us it would be another 10 minutes in song...

Discusting dirty tables could not find one clean one. so looked for a member of resaurant staff for help, but couldn't seem to find any.the que for food was very very slow. Service was an horendus 45 minute wait due to the slow service.also no cold drinks at all will have to wait until they get in touch with repairs.no apologies.very rude.other Ikea's have been good. But will never come here again.. Give the restaurant a huge miss if you need a drink or food with hygiene. Staff let it down very badly.

You cannot beat ikea food, very very very busy as per usual the meatballs were delicious along with the sauce and the gravy the chips were very nice. Desserts I cannot complain and very reasonably priced

Huge carpark and has electric points available but only a few so get there early as doors open at 09:30 for brekki Brekki is very tasty but is a set cost but you can chop and change and swop and very cheap.

Simply can't be beaten for value... always have the regular breakfast with toast mushrooms and black pudding plus a tea. For less than £5 for two of us. Just join Ikea family for discount and free tea and coffee.. see you next Wednesday

Ikea breakfast ! Option for a vegetarian breakfast was nice but no vegan options. My friend had a good value for money English breakfast. Lots of free parking.

Well what can I say, it's a basic fry up but for next to nothing! You can add on items and pay for more but it's all very simple with the menu and the queue system. Some of the additional items ie cakes, fruit juices are quite pricey (in comparison) but otherwise I couldn't complain. The restaurant seating area is quite nice and bright too.

Decided to grab some food while shopping with my son. Ordered 15 meatballs and chips. Feel they were lacking slightly on the chips. Service was extremely slow and staff not particularly friendly although food was tasty.

Good food not expensive. different meal every day . is just for take your lunch quickly and healthy.

Very very cheap - cannot complain at the prices at all. However the quality was very poor. Firstly it's dirty, not that clean. Soft drinks are some of the worst ive ever had - dont deserve any stars - watery and tasteless. Their coke is disgusting! The meatballs are chicken, and a very bizarre texture, did not particularly enjoy them. Nice chips though. Only gets 2 stars for being so cheap!

Always love the food at Ikea and the staff have always been friendly ! Would always eat here despite the queue sometimes being horrendous !

inexpensive place to eat good basic meatballs with people watching always entertaining. Inevitably, picked up more stuff than intended too!

We usually visit Ikea Tottenham but the restaurant there is so bad (plates, trays and glasses are always dirty and staff don’t care) that we decided to try here. This place is even worse. Filthy trays, staff cross-contaminating, serving food on dirty plates, moving old food to new trays with different expiry date etc, dirty cutlery, there were no glasses to compare with Tottenham but the mugs were dirty. All tables were disgustingly dirty and there was food all over the floor. This is clearly an Ikea-wide problem, not just at Lakeside.

Husband had breakfast a while ago . He Diddnt like the eggs . It's ok if you want a very cheap meal . Coffee and cake is ok

Meatballs and Mash Potato - cheap and cheerful and tasty. Only negative is that some tables in the restaurants hadn't been cleaned by the staff so I had to use a wet wipe to wipe our table down.

We visited Ikea tonight 21st December and it wasn’t that busy. The restaurant was about a quarter full. We had to hunt for trays as there were none and found some over the other side of the restaurant. The young chap serving us didn’t smile. Food was just thrown into our plates. My son wanted peri peri chicken but was told it would be a ten minute wait. We both had fish and chips instead. Checkout staff miserable too. The woman at the till said nothing when my she gave Hubby change and he said Thankyou. No manners. Our table was clear, but dirty. The chairs wobbled badly and to top of it off all our food was just barely lukewarm. For the price, it still wasn’t great value as it was all fairly tasteless and very small portions . Very disappointed.

Had the veggie Christmas dinner...fig, walnut and stilton pie. Advertised as coming with mini roast potatoes, but given new potatoes. I asked staff why they were new and he said they were roast as they were cooked in oil. They were sitting in water. I then asked why he'd just yelled to his colleague for more new potatoes. He didn't answer, so I let it drop.

Went here for a lunch snack - the salmon wrap at £2.25 is excellent value. As we are family members, we got free teas and coffees! Great! People were having full meals and these looked very good.

Ikea as always great value and it is an important part of the visit. restaurant as always very busy but service at counter , till and restaurant was superb.

Firstly I appreciate this is a cheap meal. However, I’d rather pay a few pounds extra per meal and have better quality. The queues were astronomical. The food is served barely warm. The meatballs taste like dog food, the chocolate gateaux tastes of synthetic chocolate, the coffee was dismal, so so weak. The salmon with green beans was nice and could have got a 3/5 although the temperature was tepid at best. In all the food, mains and desert is rank. Thank goodness they sell wine because the direness of the food drove me to drink

After a lengthy Sunday morning shopping visit we decided to try the Restaurant here. What a mistake! It was very busy, which seemed a promising indication, but we queued for over half an hour to get to service and find there was no soup, no peas with fish and chips and poor servings. After paying it was difficult to find an empty table and those that were vacant were dirty. The floor was covered in discarded/dropped food items. Never again....

Always a nice selection of food in the restaurant. Meatballs a firm favourite.

Queued for 45 minutes for lukewarm food. Not enough staff on the counters and those that are on seem to be employed mainly to flap their arms around. Incredibly inefficient at service, and the food that you get at the end of the wait is lukewarm- only reason we ate it was due to a choice of that or starvation

Went to Ikea on way home to pick up some bits, lunchtime so the restaurant was heaving, decided to do a quick shop and have a hotdog on way out.

Came after long day of shopping for a quick lunch ..Food was tasty ,but nothing special ..Staff polite but I would think twice to come back again .

We went in before the main lunchtime rush but still had to wait ages in a very slow moving queue. I had the meatballs and chips which were okay, but by the time we had queued again to pay, collected our cutlery and drinks, and found a table my food was not very hot. The queues got even longer whilst we were eating. Try to visit when it's quieter if you can.

We missed breakfast so had the meatballs with chips which were ok but not great. Will get there earlier next time.

Vegetarian options. Full English. Fruit salad. Drinks. Lovely. Kids options too. Lots of places to sit. Friendly staff.

Had lunch with my daughter here. Queue moved very slowly.I had chicken supreme, which was rather dry. Daughter liked her fish and chips. Reasonable price. Easy to find a clean table.

Always busy but good for a lunchtime pit stop at Thurrock Lakeside. Great value; make sure you get an IKEA card for free tea and coffee!

The prices are really cheap and the food is not that bad. We went for breakfast here and because they had runout of several items we got extra bacon, a lot of extra bacon.The coffee is unlimited if you pay for a cup, and so are the soft drinks, but all the soft drinks are not branded names (well not that I can remember) so the coke tastes a little strange and not that nice.It gets really busy in the morning at breakfast so come early!The place seemed clean and the food was tasty, worth s visit.

Shopping at IKEA is always a family activity in USA. There is always something for everyone. The restaurant makes it enticing for the young ones. My grandson ordered fish and chips like me. My brother had the vegetable balls with mashed potato. My sister-in-law enjoyed her Swedish beef meatballs. If you order the meals you get free unlimited coffee.

We had lunch here recently and it's worth the wait in the queue for the tasty food and reasonable prices. They also seem happy to mix and match. I wanted the salmon but with mash potatoes instead of the veg pilaf and it was no problem. Recommended if you want no frills, tasty food at a good price.

We frequent this place on a fairly regular basis. This isn't the place for fine dining.Its Ikea where the dining is cafeteria style In our opinion we can't complain with the price and value.Sometimes the queue can be long or various items on the menu missing but with a family card the value is v good. We always ask for a plastic lid so that the food doesn't get cold when wait ing at the checkout.Staff are friendly and we're not disappointed.

I have been to this restuarant a few times now and everytime I have a great experience. Today I ordered meatballs and mash with some chips for my little one - the lovely lady serving me gave me a few little chips on the side for no extra cost. The cashier was on training - really friendly. I forgot to pack a bib - luckily they have this awesome baby food heating station. Disposable bibs, child friendly cutlery, microwave etc. There's ample space and the place was clean.

Fabulous value lamb shank, especially when bought with the IKEA Family card. large portion and falls off the bone..... yummy

Swedish meatballs and chips are always good. What isn't good is waiting in the queue for ages to be served. They need more staff running the hot food counter.

Really good value meals. The breakfast is lovely and the bacon roll is very tasty. What you get for the money is fantastic

When you think of Ikea you think of boxes and self making things not to have a dinner. The Ikea food choice is great. There are lots to chose from. Deffo get the meatballs they are always good with chips.

Went for breakfast while we waited for another shop to open. A reasonably priced set breakfast with additional options was on offer, discounted if you have an IKEA card. Couldn't fault it for the price.

Had the meatballs, chips, peas, gravy and ham. Hubby had fish and chips, family had meatballs and the mac and cheese. Really good as you get a free bit of fruit with mac and cheese (it's a children's meal but had it as a side). Free hot drink with ikea family card. Cheap as chips (literally ). Clean. Bit hard to keep food hot when there's a long queue. There's a microwave at the baby feeding station if you want to nuke it. Good value.

A frequent visitor to this store but our first visit to the restaurant for a coffee and a cake. Very impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. Restaurant very clean. Will revisit for a snack or meal next time.
