City Kebab in Cambridge

Lamb shish comes with very satisfying large chunks of meat :D It gives little chew and tastes flavorful. Not fatty. Salad seems fresh. It’s hard to choose between wrap and pita as always but the pita absorbs the sauce and juices so I’m glad with my choice. Lamb doner looks a little like reformed meat and also not always shaved fresh off the grill. The chicken doner looks decent. (First visit after passing by in years. Might come back later.) Basic but can be 5 star for the price if you make the right choice ;)

City Kebab' IS A DISGRACE. Appalling customer service. I've never had to make a formal complaint before but You asked for it. I made an Order and it was NEVER delivered. So i called up the resteraunt to see where my order was and the manager gave me nothing but bullish!t excuses. I just wanted my food or money back but he was just relying on his dodgy delivery to do a good job wich wasen't the case. I never got an apology i didn't get my food /money back. No Shame. No repect. No thank you

Came an hour late , the first time I rung them they said it was on the way and put the phone down on me mid sentence then I call them again later On as it’s still not arrived the guy on the phone says I’ve already told u it’s on the way bye

No delivery updates. Ordered a kebab. Paid overpriced for a large and got what I’d call a small kebab. Wouldn’t mind if the quality was good, but it wasn’t. Wouldn’t order again.

Driver is an hour late than the estimated time.

No show or the food, no one answering the phone, absolutely furious. Paid £28 and the company just hasn’t turned up. And like i say i can’t even get an answer on the phone from the restaurant!

We got a delivery through Just Eat this evening. The burger was nice, but there was no where near enough salad compared to other kebab places in Cambridge. I’ve lowered the points because the chips were terrible. Cold and soggy. The garlic bread was cold and not particularly nice. We will not be returning.

The food when it arrived was nice. It was about 45 minutes late,I looked out from my front door and see a car nearby. I then checked again a few minutes later and it had been left by the door. Knowone had called or knocked on the door.

sadly food never even arrived despite stating it was delivered! they use their own courier. thankfully this was a cash order so I don't have to chase. 2 hours later than planned ive ordered from Carlos kebab whom hasn't ever been a let down 👎🏻

It’s been more than 1.5 hours I have placed order. The guy on call told me to wait for 10 more minutes and now it’s showing food got delivered. I didn’t received my order. Not going to trust this restaurant for late night orders after 12:00.

Recently, City Kebab have been great. Food arrived hot and it was the correct order, however, today chips were greasy and soggy. I also asked for no drimsticks for the 2-piece southern fried. I got two!

food was very quick considering we live far away from this takeaway, kebab boxes were squashed up and spicy potatoes looked like they had been fried to a crisp ,hard and no flavour at all ,would not recommend at all .

My partner and I cycled 42 miles to Cambridge just to visit City Kebab and try the falafel. It didn't disappoint! Excellent friendly and fast service with a smile. Thank you City Kebab!

Marked as delivered by the time it was due. Called the shop who told me multiple times it was on its way. Only for it to show up 20 minutes later cold.

this driver deserves a raise, the whole order arrived, warm and fresh. most others either shaft me on the drink and give me a smaller one or the food is cold, but this guy delivered fresh, warm food with the drink I ordered.

Best food in Cambridge after a night out. I took my wife here on our first date and we're still together 7 years after, happily married Proper Kebab. Pizza 10/10. And the iconic parkers piece in the background as you watch the sun gaze go down in the hoizon.

terrible experience I ordered Peperoni pizza and they gave me a very small pizza that had no pepperoni and was cold.

I ordered a Donna meat and chips I got my deliver and the chips were cold and when I phoned them to tell them they said they will replace it for a fresh one. But there another one came and it was still cold I will never ever coming back to this place I thought this is the best Kabab shop but I was wrong. The staff are so so rude I ask where my deliver was he just hang up the phone and laughed at me. Very very rude and unexpected behaviour. Not very good customer service. Will never ever return to this place. The staff are very rude and not polite

Here's the corrected text: £15 for a kebab that would have been £6-£7 anywhere else. The lamb was 90% gristle and fatty cuts, which were chewy and cheap. The size was nothing special for the price. The salad was subpar, again for the price. They attempt to entice 5-star reviews with free drinks, which again are overpriced at £1.50 for a can. It's a shame really, as they're the only establishment within the city that is open late. I’d advise trying some of the kebab vans around the place for a better experience.

delivery guy was early, and polite, but could have been more helpful as i am on 2 crutches, in the rain, and the dark. collecting my food was a lot more difficult than it could have been, as the guy was determined to stand at the end of the path, despite me asking him to meet me halfway. (the path only being 1.5m long at most, so it would have only been a couple of steps for him)

I had to call to see where my order was they said the delivery man was just leaving, this was when it was already late … I could hardly hear them as it was obvious that they were just all watching football. It was late, cold and not completely there. Very disappointing as I’ve ordered from here for years but it will not be ordering again.

well I tried my best not to leave a poor review, I called the restaurant 2 times, first to ask for my order, 2nd time to inform them my order was not complete. He apologised but nothing was done. How could you send an incomplete order????. He asked for my address and promised to send but he did not, the reason the review is late because I wanted to give them a 2nd chance. Not happy at all
