waiter was nice however although the food didn’t take too long it arrived slightly cold and the burger was abit dry in addition to this the price was a shocker it came to £106 for 2 burgers a few sides and 2 drinks (£8 for a mocktail) and £11 for water!!! will definitely not be going again absoloute rip off

A disappointing experience We (party of three) were appointed a table, handed our menus and we ordered some drinks. Then we ordered our favourite dish; the lobster. After consultation with the kitchen our waitress told us that the lobsters were not available. We explained to the waitress it would have been nice to know that in advance, on the moment the menus were handed out. She apologized. We reconsidered our choice and ordered. And it happened again! After we ordered we were told the starter we ordered was not available. When we ordered desert, we enquired in advance and (the waitress came prepared) were told two desserts were not available. Afterwards the waitress apologized extensively and did not charge us for our deserts. Very decent, but all in all an experience we would not like to repeat. The quality of the food does not justify the price.

Our dining experience in May 2025 unfortunately did not meet expectations, leading to a two-star rating. The Food: We ordered the lamb kebabs and the duck. While the flavor of the lamb kebabs was commendable, the portion size was notably small, and a significant amount of the meat was chewy and inedible. The accompanying chips were also unpleasantly soggy. The duck was considerably overcooked and lacked discernible flavor. The cabbage served with it was overdone and soggy, and the jus was bland. Given the price point, I opted to return the dish, and our waitress promptly and kindly processed the return. Approximately ten minutes later, the manager approached our table to offer an apology, solicit feedback, and propose an alternative meal or dessert. I declined the offer as my dining companion was already midway through her meal. The Bill: Upon receiving the bill, we were surprised to find a 50% charge for the returned duck. It required a contentious discussion with the manager, who became defensive, to have the charge fully removed. The fact that the restaurant was half-empty was not surprising. Based on this experience, I would neither return nor recommend this establishment.

Whilst the food was enjoyable, it didn’t quite live up to the price point. The chips were fairly average and my burger, although fine, felt underwhelming given the cost. The quality just didn’t match the expectations set by the pricing. However, the setting was beautiful. And had a great dessert cocktail! Overall, a lovely visit, but the food fell a little short considering the price.

The food was great and the atmosphere. They serve Pisco Sour which is a plus for me. We had an amazing time.

Good food, good view, very pricey and little bit of slow service, though it was Saturday night. The staff were friendly and the place was clean and tidy. The fillet steak and chips was delicious, as expected for the price.

Sat by window so could see over the rooftops. We couldn't get on roof terrace. Very busy. Service attentive, food tasty, and lovely presentation. Only down side was the air conditioning, which was OK to start with, then it got too cold.

I booked a table at Six for my wife's birthday after hearing some good things from a friend. Thought it would be a nice spot to take her. The service was honestly the best part of the whole night. I wish I’d got the name of the lady who looked after us - she was great. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, so she took us up to the rooftop terrace even though it was technically closed, and she even offered to take a few photos of us, which was a really lovely touch. The views from up there (and inside the restaurant) are amazing - a full panoramic view of Cambridge. We’ll definitely be coming back in the summer when the terrace is properly open - it’ll be a brilliant place to chill for a few hours. Drinks were good too. I had a G&T, my wife had a mocktail - no complaints there. The food though... a bit disappointing if I’m honest. For the prices, you expect a bit more. I had scallops to start and king prawn and chorizo skewers for my main, and my wife had plaice goujons. £17.50 for four scallops and £26.50 for four skewers - you kind of expect both quality and quantity, but we didn’t really get either. Scallops were nice enough, but the skewers were dry, overcooked, and pretty small portions too. Overall, I’d say it’s a brilliant place for a few drinks and to take in the views - but I wouldn’t rush back for the food. For hotel food, it’s not bad, but as a restaurant experience, it didn’t quite hit the mark. Would I come again? Yeah, for a drink or two... or maybe three.

Had an enjoyable lunch on one day and so went for dinner on another. The service and friendliness of staff although good when having lunch, was surpassed when we returned for dinner. Our waitress Akari clearly has the X-factor as she has those attributes that can't be taught - warmth and a great smile are just 2 examples. But she was also very efficient in doing the job. Thanks too to Tashee who (from a guest's perspective) was doing a terrific job as restaurant manager in making sure all the diners were having a good dining experience during what was a busy evening but still found time to chat with my wife and I.

Dont believe the hype, poor service, food not even on par with prezzo, very disappointing. Squid was rubbery and the oil it was cooked in was really old, you could tell by the colour and taste. Lobster roll was 3 tasteless bits in a claggy roll. Ordered a gin and tonic from thrre suggestion, didnt have the tonic so just gave me what they had, without mentioning it. Staff serving were curt and dusinterested. All in extremly poor. Only positive is the location and views, not that we could see any squashed in by the coat rack. 1st 1 star review i have ever left, it was that awful.

Afternoon tea was disappointing due to the poor service. The food was lovely and plentiful, however we were only served one alcoholic drink during our 2 hour visit and had to ask for our tea drink. The waitress spilt 2 drinks almost over my friend, I felt the service really let them down.

Not sure why this place doesnt receive better reviews. 12 of us went for a birthday lunch and had such a great time. Service was attentive but not overbearing, bar staff were excellent, the "relaxed yet smart" atmosphere and views were superb and the food was great. Definitely worth a visit.

Decepcionante. Fiesta de alrededor de 15 para unos amigos 30 y fue una pena el estándar de La comida y el servicio lento no vivieron ni siquiera cerca de las £ 70 por persona para 2 platos que tenía. Cada bebida pedida fue recibida con una larga espera. Largas esperas entre platos y para la comida en general bastante decepcionante. Incluso tomó 30 minutos al final solo para obtener la factura. La comida. Personalmente mi comida estaba bien. Era el salmón en una cama de cuscús. Le faltó condimento pero se rectificó rápidamente añadiendo un poco de sal y pimienta. Para el pud, tenía pastel de queso que el crédito donde se debe, era muy agradable! Otros alimentos, no tan buenos, especialmente si pides un filete. 3 personas en nuestra mesa lo hicieron y lo difícil de cumplir de mala calidad fue. Tampoco fue cocinado de especificación media, muy en el lado raro. Mi amigo de enfrente de mí literalmente tenía 1 bocado de ella y fue pospuesto. Sé que era el ojo de costilla que generalmente tiene más grasa que un solomillo, por ejemplo, pero esto tenía mucho. Y por el costo, fue enormemente decepcionante. Habrías aceptado si fuera en cucharas de intemperie pero no cuando estás pagando £ 50 por tu comida. Los tres filetes eran iguales. Lo mejor de lo principal fue el filete de cordero, incluso eso fue muy duro, pero tiene algo de sabor. El pollo asado de mi esposa estaba tan seco como el desierto. Absolutely phenomenal food, so full of flavour and large portions. I got the Moroccan Lamb Skewer with rice and Creamy Mashed Potato and it blew my mind. Delicious! Service was outstanding, the restaurant was clean, welcoming and warm. It looks amazing and feels so cozy. Would highly recommend!

Bang average food that was overpriced probably because of the location

Segunda visita aquí para el té de la tarde. La comida estaba bien, pero el servicio era pobre. Tuve que marcar al personal para conseguir recargas de té y dejar la mesa para perseguir la factura y la máquina de tarjetas. El restaurante es precioso, la vista es preciosa pero el servicio esta vez no reflejaba el precio o el cargo por servicio añadido a nuestra factura, una experiencia muy diferente a la última vez y una verdadera pena.

We had drinks only in the evening, despite booking a month in advance we were sat next to the staff coat hanger, away from any windows. Throughout the night, there were people grabbing their coats over our headS. When we asked if we could be moved closer to a window because there were a couple free tables around, they did not get back us. The drinks were great, well presented and delicious. But we could not enjoy any of the view especially at night and in winter. I assume before the sunset in summer is the best time to go.

Best dining out experience in Cambridge. Bravnic was an amazing host for the Domes experience on the roof terrace.

Tal vez Six tomó nota de revisiones anteriores e hizo cambios. No te dejes posponer - realmente estaba delicioso.

We have been coming to Six for over 4 years now for many occasions (Valentines Day, birthdays, anniversary’s and just date nights), we have previously loved every single trip. Our last trip on Valentines Day was very disappointing. The service felt very rushed and inattentive, the atmosphere was not very pleasant it felt over crowded, loud, cheap ans not well planned especially compared to previous Valentines Days we have come to Six. The food was not enjoyable, I have loved the Tempura Prawns with the Soy dip for years, the presentation this year however this year the presentation and taste was very disappointing. We were also not impressed with our mains, our meat was overly salty and tough, the vegetables were undercooked and cold. The cheese cake was however delicious! When I ordered my dessert cocktail, I was brought the incorrect drink, when I sent it back it took a further 15 minutes for my drink to come. When my partner ordered a beer he was not given a beer glass, and it was also warm. As we paid £72 per person we were expecting the incredible service that we have previously received at Six, delicious food and an atmosphere that set the mood; however we did not receive this. My partner and I are both very upset and disappointed with the entire experience.

Located on the top of the Varsity Hotel, this restaurant has a lovely view of the city and is a really nice place to go for a meal. Service was friendly and food came out relatively fast. We ordered two fish dishes which were both very nice, though it would have been nice if it had come with more on the side (sides have to be ordered separately).

Fui aquí con la familia, y me decepcionó casi todos los aspectos de la comida. El servicio era generalmente lento. La red tardó unos 40 minutos en llegar. El filete era increíblemente graso, y las papas fritas eran sin sabor. El filete también estaba firmemente en el lado más raro de medio raro. A otros en mi partido tampoco les impresionó la comida. Un cuchillo de carne no se llevó a la mesa hasta que alguien en mi grupo pidió uno. Cuando pedimos el postre, le preguntamos a la camarera qué es el coulis en la tarta de coco y chocolate. Nos dijeron que no hay coulis, es una salsa de frambuesa. Cuando el plato llegó, quedó claro que había un coulis de maracuyá - es impactante que el personal no conoce con precisión los elementos del menú.

Esta fue una de mis mejores comidas en mucho tiempo: lugar elegante, comida encantadora, sin prisas. Te recomiendo que empieces con las vieiras si necesitas una recomendación.

Came here for my mum’s 80th birthday for afternoon tea. Service was really slow, it took 30 mins for our tea to come out and another 10 for the actual afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was average, the sandwiches were dry and the scones were overcooked and hard on the outside. Service was not what I would expect from a luxury hotel / restaurant. There was not enough waiting staff to deal with the customers or to check in with them. My sister’s cup was dirty and when she asked for a replacement, there was no apology. Despite mentioning in the booking that it was my mum’s 80th, there was no mention or anything. Once we complained we were offered prosecco which we declined and they then knocked 25% off our bill and the young waitress apologized several times. Management should be staffing the restaurant better and giving adequate training. I have been to multiple afternoon teas and could have got better in the local cafe in my town. Such a shame as it’s a great location with nice views. It feels like they are more reliant on the views than good food and service.

For the price, I would say you're definitely overpaying. The food is good, but nothing to shout about. I had the lamb samosa, roast chicken, and creme brulee.

Visited with friends. We were taken to a table at the side with twinkly lights overhead. This really added to the atmosphere. The cocktail menu is extensive - we joked that instead of food you could just do starter, main and dessert cocktails. I had the curry which was lovely. Two people had burgers and the other had mussels which were very tasty. We all had desserts. One had the toffee sundae and said it was delicious. It was fairly large so I opted for coconut sorbet and salted caramel ice-cream. I loved that you could add some toppings. I have a camcard so we got a slight reduction, making the meal (cocktail, main and dessert per person) a very reasonable £42 including service charge. Our server was quite a young girl. I didn’t catch her name but she was lovely. We had a great night and would definitely return.

Visited with my family Saturday night, the place was buzzing but not so busy it slowed the service etc. The food was excellent, drink selection very interesting and Oscar our waiter was a joy, helpful, friendly and efficient.

Dined for a birthday late lunch Food was excellent and service was great We had a new born with us and they made us feel very comfortable and we were well looked after Crispy salmon sushi starter is a must👍

Afternoon Tea at 6 is the best in Cambridge. The food is simple and always fresh and tasty. Service is impeccable. The views can’t be beat. Highly recommend!

Starting with the food, I must say it was appalling, the chips were unseasoned and tasted as if they were cardboard. I’ve honestly had better fries at McDonald’s. The mac and cheese we ordered had no flavour and the cheese wasn’t even melted anymore when it arrived it was just very sticky. The mash was so plain and seemed as if they had just chucked it in the microwave. And finally the burger, although it tasted fresh, had absolutely no flavouring and tasted once again just like cardboard that had been on the barbecue for a bit. The atmosphere was horrible, there were about 3 tables in eating, on a day where it said it was fully booked for food. I could only book at 7 o'clock but we arrived early and thought we would go for a drink at 6 and there was not a single table in there. The waitresses were horrible giving us dirty looks the entire time. When they came over to tables they did not smile once. I feel that overall it is not worth visiting here as you are paying at least 30 pounds each for a meal (no drink) and the food and service is not good

We came as a family for Christmas Day lunch and had a brilliant experience. Me and my husband have dined before so this was our second time at Six. All staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly and welcoming! Santa being there on Xmas day with chocolates and gifts for the children was such a special touch. Food was amazing as always. Will definitely be back again soon and definitely recommend for Xmas day. Espresso martini was the best we ever had. 10/10 xxxxx

Was a bit worried given some of the mixed reviews about random poor service and an overpriced bland menu. I have to say the view, ambience, quality of food for the price was outstanding. We eat out a lot and for the price that was as good as any meal we have had this year. Service was spot on too. So glad I didn't cancel and decided to decide for ourselves.

After sitting down, we waited for about 20 minutes and no one came to serve us, as the place was empty. We didn't feel welcome. The prices are very expensive. We ordered a starter and a glass of wine. The glass of wine never came. Very common food. We decided to close before further disappointments. The view is beautiful, that's all.

We came here for drinks this year but had food last year on our work Christmas do! The drinks are always great with brilliant service to match that. The food was also really good last year, so cannot fault this place!

Don’t usually write reviews but I’ve been here a couple of times now and everytime the service has been abysmal. On both occasions had only 2 drink orders across a 2 and a half hour sitting. When food was served I had to explicitly ask for cutlery as they weren’t replaced from starters (and staff didn’t notice when putting the food down). The head waiter although was trying to be funny actually just came across as really quite rude while the rest of the staff didn’t have a clue about their menu, when I asked for a beer I was told there was no draft, and then when I asked what they had on bottle the response was “well what would you like” (they’re not labelled on any of the drinks menu and they had two in stock). Also had to ask 3 times for the sides as they weren’t served. Food is ok but nothing more than that. When we rang the number in advance it was picked up by the hotel lobby, we were requesting a birthday dessert in advance so the restaurant was aware, the receptionist refused to transfer our call through to the restaurant for some bizarre reason, apparently they don’t have the functionality to do that but working in the same building (and using a joint number) I find that very hard to believe.

The best restaurant in Cambridge!!! Once again another fantastic experience at the Six. We booked, as a family, for our Daughters graduation and everything was perfect. The staff go above and beyond to make the occasion so special, the bar staff, waiters and waitresses, the chefs and especially the manager, Edgar, who is so attentive. The cocktails are top class and delicious!! We did book a later table and requested two whole lobsters for main course. Unfortunately the last lobster had been served but Edgar made a quick phone call and sourced two amazing whole lobsters whilst we were enjoying our starters. The menu is varied and interesting, the head chef was not in when we visited but the two chefs leading the team were absolutely incredible, food cooked to perfection with fantastic flavours. The Six is more expensive than most standard restaurants but with a location overlooking the city of Cambridge, beautiful views, the best staff, cocktails and excellent food, it’s worth every penny. Once again thank you all for looking after us and making the end of our day so special!!

Warm and friendly, even though really busy our waitress was brilliant ensuring we had plenty of drinks, starters “Tempura Prawns” delicious, the steak was cooked to perfection, I was going to pass on desert but the choice was too tempting/ more bubbles and a great evening with views over Cambridge.

Was very disappointed with the service and quality from the kitchen. Main coarse Pork Belly served cold with inedible crackling and Chicken Curry rice sticky and quality and quantity of chicken poor - I suspect I was bagged microwave, and when your asked if you have any allergies and you say yes and it’s still served to you was something is very wrong. £95 a bit much to swallow

A really pleasant dining experience. Steaks were cooked perfectly and portion sizes were good. The broccoli with chilli & garlic in particular was very good. Staff very attentive and friendly.

Went last night with my wife for our 2 year anniversary and could not comprehend what we were seeing and hearing, sat down near the chef's kitchen and couldn't enjoy the night at all. Prices are ridiculous to start with that you'll not find even in a 1 star Michelin restaurant, just over inflated for most items on the menu, the kitchen staff you could hear them swearing in their own language most of the time they were serving the food, starter we had very oily, a local pub does it better and the ribeye steak that I had found it to be bloody in the middle and well done on the edge, literally they didn't even take into consideration how I wanted it. And to top it off my wife had seen the lady that was washing dishes and another server letting the washing lady taking mussels from a plate and eating them and were meant for another table and yes they have a good roofop and view but some of the staff are rogue never again too pricey and ruined our anniversary.

Just got home from a really disappointing experience having afternoon tea at Six. the service was very poor from the start: the waitress was 'sour' and unfriendly when taking the order - so much so that it was commented on by a few people (between us, not to her!), and from that point on our table was basically ignored for the remaining 2 hours we were there. We were out celebrating a work event and would happily have ordered additional hot drinks and cocktails (especially as the tea was lukewarm by the time the food arrived) but we were given no opportunity to order more. If the restaurant was busy I would have understood, but it was virtually empty when we left and made no sense why we were left for close to an hour clearly finished with empty glasses. Service could probably have been excused if the food was good, but sadly it was sub-par... The scones were hard and dense, the lemon meringue base was soft and claggy instead of light and crisp and the sandwiches pretty bland and tasteless (the coronation chicken was the exception). There were lots of leftovers which reflected the quality. It was just dull and unimaginative which given the price just came across as they are just relying on the location and views to justify the price. What was also puzzling, is that one of our guests couldn't make it, and so we asked if we could take one afternoon tea to go. Why this was brought out at the with the rest of our meal and left to sit in the hot sun made no sense at all. It's just common sense that it should probably be kept in the fridge as we would be there for at least another 1 to 1.5 hours at this point, especially as there were egg sandwiches and cream to spoil. Just not good service. We were all very disappointed and next time will definitely go back to the Ivy where both the food and service were exceptional.

Beautiful setting but Roast was mediocre tough beef, seemed like frozen veg and aunt Bessie’s Yorkshires unfortunately. Staff seemed lovely also forgot about the birthday we were celebrating disappointed.

We had a good meal and we would go again. The Roast Cod was very good, and I had the Pork Belly. The pork belly was good also and I might have it again, but it was let down by inedible bubbled crackling on top and a slice of dried Apple which nay as well have been cardboard. Deserts were good. Cheesecake and Brownie. Overall a bit overpriced, we only had two courses each and two drinks snd the bill was £108 ...... Drinks are especially pricey! £6.50 for a London Pride seemed a bit pricey, and seemed very pricey when it turns out to be a 330ml bottle and not a 500ml. Terrible! The menu range is good generally but there is a very poor choice of Vegan options so I can't bring my Vegan son to eat here. This is very dissapointing in this day and age. Staff were pleasant and the view across Cambridge from this 6th floor restaurant is great. Note that a 12.5% service charge is added to your bill without you being asked. Not great.

Wanted 45 mins to be served. Bottle of wine presented with two mismatched glasses. Arrogance or complacency can be the only reason for having such a prime location and such shoddy service.

Came to visit Six for lunch and had the best experience! The food was amazing and so was our waiter Miguel who was very attentive and made sure we had the best experience! Definitely recommend and will visit again :)

We were provided a table on a ‘walk in’. The service and food were excellent. The view over Cambridge make it all the more enjoyable.

Apart from the steak, food was really poor. The cannelloni was awful dry and hard seemed like it had been microwaved. Service really slow waited ages for our order to be taken, our plates to be cleared and to get the bill. Really hard to get staff attention Despite booking months ago and going for a drink upstairs after arriving 30 mins before our booking we were squashed up on an inside table when better alternatives looked available, we were told they had other large parties. The table was laid up whilst we waited in the entrance although we had checked in 30 mins earlier. Really very disappointing I’m struggling to find anything positive to say, just perhaps waitress was friendly.

The view at 18:00 in the evening in August is not great, a lot of constructions around. No local beer (I though it would be a "brasserie" type of restaurant, my mistake), and the food is ok, or let's say good, but for that price, you can expect more

I went for dinner (Sunday 4th) with my partner and it was an unforgettable experience, a beautiful place, the food was delicious, the scallops on the recommendation of chef Sergio were an explosion of flavour and the service we got from the head waitress and the waiter was exquisite as well. We also had the lamb ribs which were also delicious. We were also able to watch the sunset from the large sales. The top place to come in Cambridge. Thanks for the amazing service of the teem.

It’s a lovely place only issue was the 12.5% service charge they add to it and the waiters were not presenting a happy face and the service wasn’t that great

The restaurant is located on the 6th floor of the hotel we stayed at. It offers an amazing view of Cambridge, a pleasant atmosphere, and good service. I didn't try the cocktails, but I saw that those who did were quite happy. I'll focus on the food. The breakfast was very good, and the coffee was excellent. However, if you want to enjoy the cuisine for dinner or lunch, it might be better to look elsewhere. The menu is diverse, but I found it too simple and uninspired for a place with such a fantastic view. That said, the food was fresh and well-prepared. Overall, everything was fine, but I guess I expected something different from a restaurant with such a great view.

Six is the best place for stunning views of the city and a quality meal. I’m not a local, so maybe I had my rose colored glasses on during my visit, but my guests and I had a lovely time at Six. We were able to make same-day reservations on a Friday around 7:30pm. The singer really set the vibe of a nice, even romantic evening. We were seated on the outside terrace so we could watch the sunset as we ate. Ordered the scallops, burrata, and a variety of mains and cocktails. All were fantastic, especially the drinks. Props to the bartenders. Our waitress Akari was the sweetest and super patient with us. She definitely contributed to our good experience. Overall a perfect place for a dinner with friends, a loved one, or even after-work drinks. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to close out my Cambridge visit.

I ordered a simple burger. I asked if it came with cheese. It didn’t (weird) cheese was charged separately at 2 pounds. So if the basic price of the burger without cheese is charged at 20 pounds anyone would expect an outstanding meet quality. I was asked how I like the meat, I said rare. Surprisingly this 20 pound burger came with a meat super well done almost burned and without spices and bland. It was the worst burger I ever had. Great views, that’s all this place offers. However this is not enough for a client to come back. Never again. Not surprise that the restaurant is almost empty and it looks like the business survives only with the rooftop terrace where people order drinks, which by the way are also bad. I ordered a simple beer and it was warm. I’m not going to say what the beer temperature reminds me of… 0/10

Delicious food here, a lot to choose from. My friends had the cannelloni, plaice goujons, or the lemon chicken. They enjoyed it. I liked the pizza, but it wasn't spectacular. The service was given by different members of staff, there was no interaction other than taking orders, no pressure on the time frame. We sat next to a large window which overlooked most of Cambridge city. The quality of food was divine, definitely be back. The restaurant is located inside Varsity hotel.

Food was great however service not so. Waited 20 minutes before being asked for drinks which took a further 15 minutes to arrive. Food ordered at this point, waited 30 minutes for starters however mains and desert were about right. Seemed they were perhaps low on staff but wouldn’t have minded so much had this been communicated and if we were sorted with drinks shortly after being seated.

Fantastic food and atmosphere staff brilliant if in cambrige definitely worth a visit

Sadly this was a special occasion which was spoilt. Five friends getting together for an annual meal was all but ruined. We were shoe horned onto a table for four people which was not ideal. The table area was dirty, the staff working in the brasserie constantly slammed glass bottles into the bin and metal ware onto the surfaces. Whilst we appreciate that other customers may be noisy, and it is out of your control the ambiance was not pleasant at all. The staff are clearly not trained in delivery of good wine. And having to pass your glass to be filled by a gesture of the hand is not on. Serving food across our faces without words was also disappointing. I have been here before and it was nothing like we experienced on Saturday 13th July. I will not recommend this venue to return.

We had cocktails at the roof top bar. Lovely views over the city. Great cocktails and helpful service.

Could not be more disappointed with our experience at this supposedly premium restaurant. We had booked a table for a lunch time reunion, and were given one overlooking a building site rather than the beautiful city of Cambridge (those tables stayed empty). Service was slow, and not what we would have expected (plates had not even been cleared when the bill was being paid). Food was OK, good flavour, but lacking finesse - a side of mash was cold when served. Overall, massively underwhelmed. In contrast, we then had cocktails on the roof terrace, which was great. Staff were friendly and attentive, service was great, and cocktails were fresh and tasty.

Great food and great atmosphere, fairly expansive view of Cambridge on one side. We didn't try the rooftop bar but were really happy with the food quality and the service. Our waitress, Akira was lovely, and really helpful. We visited 09/07/24 in the evening and can recommend a mid week evening visit

Great visit, very happy with the service, especially Edgar and the hotel manager, they allowed me to access the roof, which was otherwise closed, so that I could propose to my girlfriend, being up on the roof alone was perfect and made for some great photos."Copy review

I ate here yesterday and was very disappointed. Unfortunately I didn’t complain which I now feel I should have. Totally overpriced for the quality of food, I feel that it’s the view that you’re paying for and not the culinary delights. Staff were pleasant, but the restaurant was tired and unkempt, there was dust and broken glass under the chair.

I have visited the place for work, but yesterday took my wife for that amazing view and food that the restaurant provides, being located at the top floor of the hotel. Also gotSome friends with us and had an amazing time while enjoying our dinner. Highly recommended. P.S. drove from Kent to Cambridge just for the dinner time 😇

We went here on Saturday and had a great time. The staff were very friendly. The food tasted delicious. The only downside we experienced was that the food wasn't really hot, It was just warm. The plates were cold as well. You would expect with paying them sort of prices, the food to come hot and not warm. Overall, we had a good visit and would go back.

Fantastic Sunday roast, never had beef like it

We went there for a team dinner with around 25 people. Food was just average. But a series of weird behaviours from the waiter in such an expensive restaurant was surprising. The dinner was prebooked but they did not arrange the tables for the number of people it was booked for, and the waiter was not happy that we asked for an additional table. Then they got the number of food to be delivered wrong. When asked the waiter couldn't accept the fact that he got it wrong. His acting was funny though as if we got it and hid it under the table. It was an unprofessional strange experience, except for one girl who did the job professionally. Overall, except for the view of Cambridge city and the ambience, there is nothing much to look out for here.

Awful food and even worse service. Overpriced.

Honestly I wouldn’t go back. Service was trash, food was average. Location is fantastic and is wholly let down by everything in the restaurant. It’s the only time I’ve ever asked for the service charge to be removed from the bill. Disappointed.

The food was absolutely perfect. Scallops were cooked perfectly and my cod with herb crust was amazing. The staff could not have been better. Don’t hesitate if you want a beautiful view fantastic food and a special memory you can’t go wrong going to six brasserie
