Nando's in Cambridge

The store layout is good with nice artwork and decorations but the staff are sometimes not very friendly (most are). You got my order wrong a few times too and I was warned by your manager taylor for contacting head office too many times

The seating arrangements are quite inadequate, creating an atmosphere that feels cramped and uncomfortable. It resembles being in a confined space, which could be particularly distressing for individuals who experience claustrophobia, as they may feel overwhelmed and stifled in such an environment.

I think this is the best Nandos we’ve been to. Child friendly, spacious&neat. we didn’t have to wait too long for food to arrive. Staff members were approachable and helpful.

Went for lunch on a Tuesday and it was lovely and quiet, perhaps a little too quiet but that’s not the restaurants fault. Food was lovely & came super fast. The unfortunate increase in prices due to being in Cambridge was the only downside if we’re comparing this restaurant to other nandos. Staff were nice & efficient. The bathrooms were super clean and everything was touch-free, I have never been so fascinated by a hand dryer before! 🤣 Was a lovely quick lunch x

Me and partner came for a late dinner on Sunday night, called ahead to double check they were still taking walkins. When entering the women looked like the manager didn’t seem pleased we were there, then approached by a young waiter who understandably told us the menu was limited from a long weekend, we were happy to go ahead with the meal anyway. Ordering at the till, my partner asked if he could have the chicken wings and the young man from before obviously rolled his eyes at us and proceeded to check (He did say that these were available when we entered). This experience made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Besides this food was good and a couple of waitresses were lovely

For the delivery pick up you have to wait 15-20 minutes (Deliveroo) Even orders are ready but nobody respond. Just ignoring riders

We have been to few Nando’s and this was having a bad day! Not often we have to send Nando’s back, also not the tidiest. Hopefully it was just a bad day. You need to watch out as easy to walk past on dark nights.

Really good place to stop after whole day of sightseeing. I have been in many Nando’s but this one is special as food came in a minutes, staff was welcoming and place was clean. Great service from Niki as he was super friendly with kids.

The food is scarce, there is only one dish in all that is worth it. They take advantage of tourists. Spaniards, don't come. A real scam. The letter is very very confusing. We had to take a tangerine out of our bag to be able to eat something decent.

I attended nandos Cambridge on Friday 20th September at 7pm. We had a show at the corn exchange at 8pm so thought we'd have a quick bite to eat. Made the order at 7.02. we had nothing come 7.25 so feeling a bit anxious I asked one of the waiters who said it was coming. In this time I'd heard from the table behind there was no avocado in the restaurant which affected us as my partner had ordered a wrap which contained avocado. At 7.30 a waiter came to our table and said they had run out of half a chicken! And would I want something else. I asked for their quickest item which was the chicken thighs. At 7.45 our food came, the waiter declared that there was avocado in the wrap....there wasn't and when called back got stroppy with my wife which was incredibly rude. Eventually a person who I believe was the manager came over and said we would receive a gift voucher for the car crash of a nandos experience we had, I am yet to hear anything. Avoid this nandos, easily the worse one, I don't know who is in charge of this place but their standards are shocking l. I had to eat my food quickly which led to me not enjoying my show, ruined my evening

Placed an order and waited for an hour! Waiter had a bad attitude and instead of apologizing she offered me a full chicken which was of no use to me. I have thrown half of it in the dustbin!😭😭😭😭

As visiting Americans, we were thrilled to discover a restaurant with arctic cold air conditioning on an unusually hot September day. Beyond that refreshing relief, we were excited to try Nando’s, a place we’d heard so much about. We were not disappointed—it was excellent. The chicken was perfectly cooked and very well seasoned and the chips were probably the most perfectly cooked chips we’ve had on this trip so far (which is saying something) We were also pleasantly surprised by the macaroni and cheese, which exceeded our expectations. The staff went above and beyond, providing friendly and accommodating service. They took the time to explain how to get iced water and offered guidance on the different sauces. The food took a little long to come out but I believe it is because we ordered a ton of it. We also did not mind as we were enjoying cooling off from the hot weather. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience, and we couldn’t have been happier with our meal.

I can't believe I'm eating chicken seasoned in the Portuguese style (Mozambique, to be exact), which is headquartered in South Africa, in the UK. Even if I write just one line, it feels dizzying, but I think we really live in a global world. In conclusion, it is still a place to enjoy at a reasonable cost in such an expensive country in England. We ordered 4 pieces of thigh meat as a side. I ordered mild and hot sauces, and both were not that spicy. It's called piri piri sauce, but it's not spicy enough for Koreans. The sweet taste is not as much as expected, but the savory flavor is surprisingly good. In particular, you can add as much hot sauce as you want, and the herbs were really good. However, perhaps because Korea's chicken culture has developed so much, it doesn't end with "I liked it" and "I want to go again."

Era lechuga seca estaba seca ya que casi no había aderezo en ella, y cuando me quejo todo lo que dijeron fue, si quieres más pollo tienes que pagar de nuevo por pollo extra, pero todo lo que quería era un pedazo de pollo decente que no estaba seco con una ensalada agradable contado en el aderezo con queso, por cierto no había cubiertos, y cuando la camarera trajo los cubiertos estaba todo húmedo y no muy higiénico. Para ser honesto una experiencia terrible, no vale la pena, ni siquiera me dio pena y créeme que no soy el tipo de chico que se queja pero esto fue demasiado

Fui aquí con algunos amigos mientras estaba de vacaciones para una buena comida y me lo pasé de maravilla. Moisés era un camarero extremadamente encantador y amable que era genial para nuestra mesa, Layla era tan servicial con nosotros cuando tuvimos problemas, ella y Poppy eran realmente encantadores e hicieron el ambiente divertido y alegre. Puedes conseguir Nando’s en cualquier lugar, pero no puedes conseguir ese tipo de servicio en cualquier lugar, gracias Moisés, Layla y Poppy.

Terrible first impression. We walked in and got told someone would be with us. We waited and other people walked in, the guy blanked us completely and served the others, plates everywhere, glad we didn’t eat here as the customer service within the first 3 minutes of even entering was embarrassing

Went to this Nando's last Saturday. All of the staff looked miserable. My mother ordered 5 chicken wings as medium spice but could only eat 2 as they were cooked extra hot. The gravel was just a pot of oil not taste what so ever!!! I had also seen a staff member in the kitchen pour salt on the hot serving counter, lick her finger and draw some sort of writing on the counter!!!! This same staff member had a box of cooked chips sitting in a box sitting under the hot counter for a while and filling up the plates as they came.

It is a pleasure to have mediterranean food in the UK. Good quality no matter the chicken. In my opinion, there are too many processes that are devolved to customers to improve their operations and profitability. It affects to the user experience and I don’t see the translation into a better and faster service. Even though, overall quality and price is good.

Not having a good experience. I could not get the table I wanted although the place was not full. Ordering was easy but took ages for someone to come to us. Food was little, dry and not really tasty. Overpriced I would say. Much better food at market place.

I have been going to this Nandos for years and decided to go with my family on Saturday. I was disappointed with the food and service on this visit .The food was cold and the service was poor, noone came and asked if everything is alright and took our chicken stick with table number on this is the first time this has happened. Also I noticed the restaurant is getting tired (tape on the chairs to obviously cover splits )

Worst Nando’s restaurant I have ever eaten. Today I ordered 35 chicken wings. The chicken wings are burned and very very dry. I know they cooked them again and again or maybe they were leftover yesterday. Paid more than £70 but very disappointed. Avoid it.

Absolutely awful…my food took 40 min and my friend had revived her meal 10 minutes after ordering, when it arrived my food was missing most of its components and was cold. If i wasn’t starving i wouldn’t have even eaten it but i left 3/4 of my plate. i normally love eating here but this is just disappointing, due to the fact that it wasn’t even busy.

Quick service and friendly stuff! Nando’s is always a good choice for when I’m in the UK

The food was great as always!! No fault on that aspect:) However…The person that I can only guess was the manager (as he was wearing normal clothes to everybody else) whose name is “Ruben” was one of the rudest people I have ever seen and have come across. You could clearly see that all the staff were afraid of him and we had witnessed multiple arguments that took place between him and other staff members. This was because he was patronising and condescending in the way he treated and talked to his colleagues. This was very clear as this one colleague had finally had enough of his rotten behaviour that they argued back (rightfully so) This lasted for a good while and he was not happy at all. This only caused him to become worse with his attitude to his staff members, treating them awfully. It was clear from the get go that the colleagues were scared of him as every time he would walk in their vicinity or would see him they would speed walk in the opposite direction. This seemed like a very unpleasant work environment for the workers and resulted in an unpleasant and uncomfortable experience to sit and eat in the restaurant amongst all of the chaos Ruben was making.

Excellent place for any meal of the day. Good customer service and fantastic food.

“When we came in,we were told to order thru the app and we did,got charged. Then we waited for our food 25 minutes later,still no food. We made a follow up to the waiter only to be told,they don’t have our order. We checked and the charge from Nandos got cancelled without any notice. The manager spoke to us and just keeps on telling us they didn’t receive our order. Well,if they are quick to take the money out of the account,they should have received the order,right? She didn’t offer any alternatives or even asked to take our order manually and have it expedited in the kitchen. We were told to order in the app again and wait for another 20 minutes which we can’t cause we are attending a live event. We were sitting there waiting for our food that never arrived and missed the first part of our event. We find the experience really frustrating and unacceptable. Never coming back to Nando’s anymore.

Had Nando’s here a couple of weeks ago and I must admit this was the best Nando’s we have been too in terms of food. Had the half chicken with garlic bread and rice and was really tasty! When we come back to Cambridge we will most definitely come back to this Nando’s.

Couldn't get more simple. Wanna have chicken, go to Nandos! The central branch is always consistent with its food quality, while in other branches haven't had that much of a luck. Get the app and enjoy the fribies!

Amazing customer service by the staff

Need to clean this place, not smell good at all. A lot dirty throughout the restaurant floor specifically on the way to the toilet. I clearly realised that higiene is not priority at this branch!!!

all good - food, speed, this time even the room temperature was normal (unlike during my three visits last year when we had to wear jackets). Hopefully, it'll stay that way! ...or it'll get even better (maybe by lowering the music volume slightly)

The worst Nandos food I have ever had. I ordered a Family platter worth £63 for delivery. The food I received was not only overcooked and dry, the packaging was so unhygienic. Such a shame!

Very disappointed with this Nando's - bad enough I wasn't told at time of ordering that 1 of the ingredients in a 2 ingredient salad wasn't available (leafy green salad with peri peri seeds), but when it arrived I queried the missing seeds & was told "they are just something we put on for crunch" as though they were something extra and I shouldn't be bothered they are missing. Instead of an apology I was told they've been out of them for a while now. Oh, well that's OK then!! In the absence of any humility I asked for a refund & got one without any sense they'd got it wrong. Also the first time ever that no-one came to our table after our meal began to ask if everything is OK. Not up to usual Nando's standard. I'm not one to over-react but I won't be going back.

We went there after a night out, perfect comfort food, big portions, fresh and filling food. Friendly and helpful staff and plenty places to sit down and enjoy your meal. Great experience, will be coming back soon.

Not the best Nando’s… Over priced chicken

Nothing special, I took chicken wings, they were not great, not terrible. Sides were okayish,maybe too much mayo. To add, I was waiting too long until someone told me how to order, didn’t know about the app thing, anyway, middle quality

Terrible service and waited over an hour for our food, no chicken thighs, attempted to put us on the smallest table possible even though there was four of us and our baby in the pram. Very disappointed

The bottomless frozen yogurt machine froze….. the fries were sort of too salty (I got the fully loaded ones) the starter wasn’t very big, and I didn’t like the cheesecake …. But the froyo machine got fixed after the manager worked on it…. And the main dish took extra long to come out, I thought they had forgotten about it….

i waited half an hour for chicken thighs to be told they can't cook chicken, i order first out of all my friends they all got there's and i got left starving. this isn't the first time i've ordered first and never received my meal. -10/10

Without a doubt the BEST Nandos in Cambridge!!!! The chicken is never dry, and everything was delicious. Moreover, all the wait staff were lovely. We were greeted by lovely Taylor and even recommended the loaded fries (which was bomb - thanks, Taylor). All of staff members were willing to assist which helped giving such a warm atmosphere. Thank you for such a nice meal!

Visited on Friday night for dinner. It was relatively crowded, but we were quickly ushered to an empty table. Temperature inside the place was maintained on colder side. We changed our table after some time due to cold air, and observed another group also changing their tables due to cold air blowing overhead. First service was quick and food (chicken wings, chips, bean cutlet) was piping hot + awesome. Second service of chicken wings took a bit longer time to arrive, and it was not as piping hot as first service, possibly due to the dish being ready, but not served sooner. Staff is very friendly and responsive.

I had a great experience at Nando’s Cambridge St Andrew’s street. I was greeted and served by Nico. He was polite and friendly offering top-notch customer service! Food was great as always and arriving quickly. Also, shout out to Syb and Fillip who checked in with me that everything was ok and thanks me on the way out.

Amazing food, amazing spicy sauce. The first time I went, I was a little lost about ordering. Didn't know that you needed to use the QR code. I understand the waitress was in a rush. However, the staff is super friendly and kind. The place is a little bit noisy depending the time you go.

The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff( Poppy) who went above and beyond to ensure my experience was enjoyable. What truly impressed me was the fantastic music selection. The ambiance was enhanced by a playlist that was not only diverse but also incredibly enjoyable. In fact, I dare say the music here surpassed even that of the trendiest nightclubs in town. It created the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and enjoyable evening.

Easy to self-order and so tasty on a cold and rainy day. The extra spicy was just regular spicy for me. Staff,manager all very nice.

I actually kind of like paying for my meal up front. The branding standards let you know you're in a Nando's, which is reassuring to the quality of the food. Staff were present and attentive without being overbearing. All told, a good meal.

Very good location, nice food. Service is a bit laid back. The guy on the till not interested in serving. Making faces, not helping in explaining items on the menu. He looked like he was the manager and still had no smile on the face and was not welcoming.

Grilled chicken was tasty and salad was fresh. We also liked seasonings they had. We even visited it twice in our three days stay in Cambridge.

Great food however one plate was brought out and we waited 30 minutes for my friends to come. In the end we had to ask where it was. My food was cold by this point. No apologies from staff.

Nando is always a very good option if you like Peri Peri Chicken! My favourite is chicken tights with lemon and herb peri peri. Amazing sides as well. I love the cork on the cob and the peri peri salted chips
