Staff asks what you’d like, you say what you’d like, only to get home and open the bag to find it’s totally not what you’d asked for. Other than that. it’s great 😩

Quite disgusted to say the least. I've not had a steak pie for years. I decided to order one from here. Not only was it small in size it was quite expensive at £3. I cut it in half to find what I would call a small meatball inside that didn't even fill the pastry with lots of greasy liquid spilling out.

For some reason the soup served at the Leyland branch always taste awful. It's either to thick or just taste wrong. The shop in Burscough and Ormskirk seem to have it right.

Ordered a celebration rainbow cake online and delivered to shop for collection, easy smooth process with a happy outcome, very pleased with the cake and also the polite helpful shop assistant

Charged nearly £6 for 2 pies which were stone cold. This was after asking for a chicken salad sandwich to be made and directed to a 3 hour old sandwich not even wrapped up or covered looking dry as hell. Even subway tops this bakery. A bakery should stand out with its quality and customer service being top shelf. Not being pointed to a sandwich on a shelf. An who wants a stone cold pie from a bakery. This bakery belongs in the 1800s with its staff and business Outlook. Street food is a huge thing right now. Along with freshness. Don't make sandwiches guessing what people want. Especially if u have no taste and don't even put onion on a chicken salad sandwich. Plenty businesses that will have my custom again. You keep that 6 quid I know its hard work in Leyland but jesus I very directly asked for 2 orders both to be left with nothing but disappointment. Your pies aren't worth this price when hot. Please open a greggs at this location. Not as nice as a real bakery. But greenhalghs is outdated massively. From its design to its food. Won't waste my time again. I have autism an shouldn't be put on the spot and redirected like that in a shop where I am ordering food. I can't process that fast so now I spent my money on some thin I'm now not going to eat. I wanted a hot pie. Absolute joke. Can't even do what they are asked. So is the hot food tax applied to these pies that were stone cold. The older lady with glasses behind the counter clearly didn't want to listen to what I wanted. I had to take the piesan wlk away as if I complain in person she would have been crying. As I clearly asked for a simple request of a freshly made sandwich. If she doesn't want to be at work and make food for people ask her to leave. My wife has to walk out last week due to her attitude

Lesley and.the other lady who's name I cannot remember are always pleasant. I always ask for a vanilla that isnt a vanilla and they both understand that I am asking for a Bavarisn slice .I always have trouble remembering what they are called. It is a joy to shop there

I thought it was overpriced. The coffee was cold. The bread bun really dry.

£2.50 for a meat and potato pie - what a rip off. Never again! - No wonder the prices aren't displayed. Pie wasn't bad but not worth £2.50

First visit to this shop. Usually go to bamber bridge but I've moved to Leyland. A lot more choice and finally some decent customer service. Ended up spending more than I wanted to but worth every penny . Shop really inviting

Thank goodness this place is open. Fab choices and brilliant service. Great to be able to pop in for a tasty snack, especially whilst working at home. Always friendly staff and plenty of choice.

Lovely staff and love the soup. However, I do think that the prices of everything else need to be reviewed, I can't believe how expensive it has got.

Great love the cakes and jackets. Favourite is potato cake though.

Have always loved the meat and potato puffy pastry pasty from greenhalghs but on a visit to westhoughton this week was very disappointed with this product, it had totally changed from what I remembered, the pastry wasn't puff pastry and I didn't not enjoy! Sad!

I love the big pies from there and the staff are nice a help you as well

Always used to go to Greenhaghs , 1st choicfor pies but I went at 12.30 for a hot meat and potatoe pie and they had none, I would have to wait for 10 to 15 minutes, not doing that when there are plenty of other shops on the high street. The next time I went I asked for a hot meat and potatoe it was only luke warm and when I started to eat it was dry, Could it have been yesterdays warmed up again? made me feel ill for the rest of the day. Two bad experiances, not risking a third its across the road to their competitors from now on.

Great if you love pies. Not so great if you don't.

Visited on two separate occasions and both time the service was shocking !! First occasion walked into the shop I greeted the assistant with a "morning please can I have a sausage roll", no "hello" "Good Morning " not even a smile form the staff. The sausage roll which was placed into a bag and launched on to the counter... My son handed over a £5.00 note and the change was abruptly placed onto the counter and again no "thank you" "bye" nothing. Second occasion I nipped in for some rolls as was passing by. The assistant was serving the elderly person in front of me who must of had hearing difficulties as she had to ask the assistant on three occasions for the price, following the third request from the customer, the assistant rudely raised her voice and bellowed the price to the elderly lady..... AT this point I walked out..... Never again will I set foot in that shop given the rudeness i have witnessed.

Good pie shop. Fabulous Manchester tarts. Try them.

If you love really tasty, great value pies, cakes, bread and more, its the only place worth going. The bread is like my gran used to bake (it actually tastes of something); the cakes are delicious and the donuts - compared to Krispy Kreme - are amazing. The staff and Susan are brilliant. Get in there before all the good stuff goes.

This isn't a craft bakery. You can have speciality cakes made but cannot buy any cake decorations.

£2.70 for a meat and potato pie. Made a big mistake should have gone to Mason's on School Lane. No were to next time.

We were given a frozen meat & potato pie instead of a cheese and onion (the label said Cheese & Onion). This spoilt our Christmas Day as we were hoping to have the ‘Cheese & onion’ pie. Fully defrosted for the morning of Xmas day, my wife had a peep at the filling and it was neat & potato! We had to store the pie until 27th Dec and took it back. The manager was very unapologetic and didn’t seem to care less about this massive mistake which she is accountable for. We are Hindu and storing beef (which we assume the meat is in the pie) in our house is very wrong for us, I pointed this out and she didn’t batter an eyelid. Very rude and unacceptable! 100% will not be buying from the company again!

The best sausage rolls and egg custard

I was surprised to see just how badly run this outlet this has become- the manager Tegan does not care and this reflects in here customer service skills. Prices high, food now of low quality and it is obvious this cannot last much longer before it closes. I wrote to head office but they seem just as ambivalent. Go across the road for better service and food- don’t waste your money in these tough times.

Called in to buy lunch and chose the potato and meat pie as there was some nice freshly baked ones on display. I do like Greenhalgh’s pies but there a bit more expensive than others. Nice though

Ordering was easy in the shop, the cake was ample size, nice & light & well presented. The staff in the shop were very helpful.

I used to eat food here when I was younger, and remember the food being quite good. I bought a sausage roll recently and was disappointed it was not nice at all. I had to throw it away.

I regularly stop here for my lunch on a break from work. Favourites are the Broccoli and Stilton soup and the Spicy Chicken and coconut, the sandwiches are nice. However, I am rapidly loosing my patience with the fact that the ladies that work there seem to not have the ability to smile! It is more expensive than chicken BBQ or other local bakeries.

Friendly service can be busy at times with slow service, otherwise OK for a light bite.
