Guys. This restaurant will try to accuse you of lying. Food missing. Asks us to prove it and come to branch. £2 delivery £1.49 service charge. If you have the audacity to ask for a service charge. Employ someone to check people's orders. It's not hard. You are literally putting food in a bag. People would not get irate if you didn't accuse them of lying. I don't want £7 off my meal. I want the meal I ordered. Ask for a complaint form. Admit you are wrong and missed an item. It stops all this. Worst mcdonald's delivery in Lancashire. Soon stops when you walk into branch. Fishergate centre never have these problems when you was closed for refurbishment.

Quiet this time. Not the cleanest, but food was hot and the order correct. Toilets disgusting and one of the urinals was full.

Consistently poor, 15 minute wait for a single meal from drive thro. ALWAYS have to check the food as they regularly get it wrong. Rubbish Maccies

So slow thought we had been forgotten and we were not alone. It was so bad even the staff member who brought our food apologised for the long wait.

Woman working on the counter should be ashamed at herself. Friday 12th April around 7.40pm decided it was appropriate to have a go at a customer who hadn’t used the table number correctly. If I did this where I work I would be sacked straight away. Brown hair tied back. Maybe look into it? The larger gentlemen wearing glasses who was handing meals out did hand a flag to a child which was kind and we to it of his way to make someone smile. Props to you!

Very busy but the place was kept clean and tidy. Staff all polite and helpful Considering how busy it was the toilets were presentable.

Used the drive through. Speakers always seem to be a little faulty. Very efficient service. Food hot when received.

BY FAR THE BEST MCDONALD'S WE'VE EVER HAD. And, we've had a few in our time! Never had one served so hot, or so freshly cooked and the service was amazing. Worth going out of your way if it's not your nearest! WE WILL BE BACK THERE SOON!

Visited yesterday, not overly busy. Indoor bins were over flowing. Tables filthy and uncleared. Food on the floor. A group of young girls dragging each other on the floor into the toilets. Staff passed this numerous times but did nothing to stop it. I ordered the fillet of fish, came warm, chips under cooked. Real let down, will find another McDonald's to visit in future.

My girls love it there . The staff that attended to me was friendly and took his time to explain things to me.

Completely missing the point of fast food. Over 30 min in a que from ordering at the Drive through to getting the food is a complete joke.

Fast moving drive thru service here. Food is always hot and fresh tasting. Great staff service. Recommend downloading the app pre order and pay, then just quote the code at the drive thru speaker or inside! You also get discount coupons in the app and points to get freebies like burgers, fries, drinks.

It's a McDonald's you know what to expect. Tried the hot cross bun pie. It was like a worse version of the Christmas mince pie one. That said I still like both.

Since they have got renovation done I don't know what happened to them they ignore delivery partners as there is a new room for delivery collection no staff come over there they all are chatting And do mind as delivery partners we are delivering food to ur precious customers who might have paid a bit more then who comes walkin should be taken care off Now one more cheap technique mcdonald is using is free food/drink when positive survey is filled out that's annoying u can get genuine good positive reviews if the staff is doing his job as they should instead of chatting all the time

Eating in - Seems really clean. Staff are friendly and attentive. Great service. Play monitors for children are cleaned regularly.

Food on point. Hot, speedy service. And nice staff. Won't come again though due to the new speed bumps and potholes on the way in. Capital centre need to sort it out.

Awful drive through experience on a Sunday at 2pm ordered and been waiting nearly and hour for my food. Shocking and not very fast food. Won't be returning

Cold food, no atmosphere, slow service.

What a horrible place. Horrendous queue for the drive through so decided to go in. It's like a doctors surgery with people eating in it. First use the self serve check-in, after inputting your minor ailments, go wait at the reception desk for the unhappy receptionist to give you your prescriptions. Whoever designed this soulless eatery needs having a word with. 😳😳🙁 Thankfully we decided to eat in the car.

Regular mcdonalds, but check ur order properly as more often than not your order is wrong or mixed up especially when it's being delivered

Not everyone in the early hours of a Saturday morning are so psd out of their brains they don't know what they're eating... I should of known when waiting in the drive thru queue, no greeting at the window and that many timer alarms, and beeps going off in that kitchen sounded like I'd parked up on a ward at RPH.... Burger cremated. Disgusting.

The fillet o fish was VERY BAD!!! It was a mess to start with, not even warm and it was dry and hard! They served me one that’s been sat there for a few hours!!!! Very very bad quality!!!!!!!

Got my order completely wrong (wrong items completely) got replacement and the now almost correct order had wrong items on the mcspicy and both drinks tasted of cleaning product 🤢 Also where is the salt/sugar etc??

We arrived close to lunchtime and the place was busy. The staff were doing their best but kept getting interrupted by people asking for sauces/sugar etc. Where has the self service station gone? Food was just warm when received.

I drive here sometimes to say, test my satnav, or drive for fun. Since the lockdown, and its reopening, I have only been there a few times. The place is again popular and so crowded. Where it's situated by the cinema and big shopping area, that plenty of parking is available. You can order and pickup foods without leaving your vehicle. I have discovered that the ordering is via a touchscreen, portrait orientated big monitors and by a bank card. It's easy to order foods with this method. Just select your desired foods and pay with visa or equivalent. The toilet's are clean. I eat my meal outside on the benches. I have noticed coppers and ambulance staff can stop here and buy foods too. This could be as it's easy to park here. The foods are a nice now and again treat. According to my current diet book, 'the G. I. Diet', by Gallop, published by virgin, for the great price of around £17 from amazon.co.uk, is that the long-term, regular consumption of these foods is not physically healthy for your body.

Is it me that everytime I order something is missing. Like a whole meal. I’m puzzled how they do it everytime. I ring them they give you a voucher code. I can’t eat a voucher code when I’m hungry.

I have now ceased going to Capitol centre as every visit seems a battle. The Mcflurrys have had numerous price increases with less & less ice cream. 5 out of 5 visits resulted in me sending them back for top up. The staffs attitude was less than helpful & abrupt. We now go to Leyland, problem solved & no complaints

Burger was barely luke warm at best which I've gotten used to expecting no more. The service, well, I ordered food and someone put in on our table so.... The place feels very cold and clinical with the change to the now tiny "serving hatch". I understand how the dynamic of ordering have changed but it's becoming faceless like a great big vending machine.

Only use when no other option. Not for me ! Burger king is far better on quality and size. You get what you pay for !

Have been Put off mcdonalds for dear life! - After not eating for a couple of days due to bereavement in the family I decided to order mcdonalds with my husband as it was quick and easy... less than 24 hours later we are both suffering with D & V! The place needs taking to food standards because its totally unacceptable!

Food is standard McD's fare. The new layout however leaves something to be desired. Who elects to put all the self service machines and the food counter right next to the entrance and thoroughfare? Any more than 5 people waiting means a bottleneck!

Had a coffee. My partner had filet o fish. My latte was look warm. The restaurant was filthy food waste all over the floor. Even chips on the counter. Tables filthy. Disgusting, cleanliness is the least you expect.

The service only seems to get worse since the removal of the tills as staff can now hide in the back. The food is cold and service is slow. Fast food seems to be a thing of the past. The restaurant has lost its human touch . I think McDonald's main office needs to rethink the redesign of all restaurants.

Standards at this place have fallen so far in the last 6 months, it's gone from one of the best in the area to being easily one of the worst. Deliveries here are awful, food is normally cold by the time it gets here, and majority of the time your order is wrong or has items missing. I mentioned this to the manager but all she did was point fingers at the delivery drivers and say it's their fault

Serbia was quick and the staff was friendly

The last several times we have ordered from McDonald's Capitol Centre has been nothing short of horrendous. Orders are constantly wrong and food is always cold when delivered. I'm not sure what has happened but service has dropped off of a cliff the last 6 months. Final straw is we spent £70+ on a delivery order for my daughter's birthday. We purposely ordered more than we needed because we knew it would come wrong, and exactly that happened! Drinks missing as well as whole meals. I'm not too sure how it can happen as it is automated, so it's clearly the staff not able to fulfil their criteria. I appreciate it is a very popular place but there needs to be such massive improvement.

Literally every single time we order from here through ubereats or just eat, the order is delivered wrong. Last time, we asked for a bigmac without meat (vegetarian and loves the sauce) and it arrived, the box had the order printed in saying no meat, yet when we opened it up THERE'S MEAT ON IT?! How can you get that so wrong?!

Cleanest McDonalds I've been to in 5 years!

Victoria is an outstanding hostess. This is the cleanest McDonalds I've dined in, in 20 years. She was extremely kind and helpful. She deserves promotion.

What a horrible McDonald's! 8pm we called in here for a cuppa because a friend had to update their phone and had to do it via WiFi. This 'cafe' has just had a refurb but they've turned it into a clinical, sterile dropout centre. No counter, just a big hatch that occasionally a staff member appears in. Can't see into the kitchen. Teenage boys going around customers asking if they can have their monopoly tickets or going around the tables with left wrappers seeing if they can find the tickets there. One cleaner turning here eyes away just getting on with her job (I don't blame her). Even in the drive through you can't see into the kitchen ... what are they hiding? Ordered a cup of tea, staff member brought it to the table, no milk, no sugar 🤷 and in the end it was rancid anyway. Maccys showing their true colours. Stopped eating their 'food' a long time ago but had occasional coffees ... never again.

After flying back from Turkey thought we'd av a mcds only to be told we're cleaning no food or drink

I ordered a large wrap meal and a regular, the wraps are now half the size they used to be, the chips had NO salt on them and were bland and loop warm, the large cappuccino had less in than the regular one and it was slightly warm. Also the wrap I ordered (sweet chilli) was a ceasar wrap. They couldn't have done it any worse. It was awful! Avoid McDonald's it's gone downhill really far. TERRIBLE!

All tables full of rubish in dining room. Waited over 25 mins for a single meal. Drink came out tasteless meant to work better with new renovation very poor service staff not interested. Witnessed customer having to pay his taxi off as taxi driver refuses to wait any longer and food took so long 😂

Had to ring to complain about food being cold, and got a rude member of staff (Charlie) who i first spoken to then ( Jo ) she was very rude and unprofessional.

Busy Saturday lunch time but super quick service if you order basic items with no changes.

Sadly the high turnover of staff causes problems such as getting the order wrong often, but blame others! Cold soggy fries is too frequent. No accountability & or responsibility for mistakes.

Well it's MacDonalds, never gonna get a 5 stars but this is one of the bettter Mc Donalds but just refurbished, staff are lovely, food is as expected. As for the atmosphere, it's decor is cheap and tacky, and seats are uncomfortable, music is too loud, and lights are way too bright. Toilets need to be reopened at night as sharing a disabled toilets with drunks with urine all over is not nice. Open the Mens and ladies toilets and keep the disabled toilets for the disabled.

Ordered through just eat failed to deliver one of the meals and what did come was stone cold. Seems to be an ongoing issue

The only mc Donald’s that’s knows how to always get an order wrong so always check what you get some staff are nice others couldn’t care and the spaces for click and serve are on the left in the next car park along not next to the store
