The best restaurants in South Ribble North West

The empanadas are very tasty and there is a good range of fillings. The wine is very tempting, but lunchtime drinking doesn’t work for me. Best to eat and not drink! The staff are very friendly and the service was good.

Had a lovely Afternoon Tea delivered today, lovely and fresh and lovely selection of savoury items and cakes. Would recommend Cookie Jar for Afternoon Tea delivery.

Having been given a voucher for this cruise as a gift, we weren't sure what to expect. My husband made the booking over the phone and immediately commented on how friendly and helpful the lady was who helped with our booking. We turned up on a very frosty morning and stood viewing the ice on the water! We were boarded at 11.45 and shown to our allocated table. The boat was duly decked out with Christmas decorations and for the whole cruise we were regaled with Christmas songs. The food (which we had ordered from the menu prior to the cruise) was really delicious and we considered ours to be ample portions. Above all, the service was amazing and the staff worked tirelessly. It appeared that everything ran like clockwork and at the end of the cruise we considered it a lovely way to spend about 3 hours. The price paid was really good value for money and this canal cruise is now firmly on our 'To Do' list for 2020.

Mum and me had breakfast here today (Friday 26th January) after hearing good things about Annie's kitchen and being Leyland resident's ourselves, how we were not aware of this little gem sooner is beyond me.A full English is one of my favourites, I had the large one and mum the smaller version and we were not disappointed, excellent food,well prepared and presented,top notch ingredients, obviously the proprietor has gone to great lengths to source the best suppliers and coupled with polite and prompt service in spotlessly clean surroundings, well what more can I say, I vote with my feet and i (we) will be back, Annie's kitchen is duly noterised as one of my GO TO places,thank you.

Love love the pantry! I’ve been on my own with my little one and felt super comfortable to just be there without feeling awkward and I’ve also been a few times with friends. The coffee is excellent & the food is so good and really reasonably priced! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ok so this place is tucked away off the main drag of Bamber Bridge but take the effort to visit. Firstly it’s Wallings ice cream so always going to be tasty but the Team take it to the next level. We had three TJ’s specials. Brilliant presentation and super tasty. Get yourself down and sample - you will love it and be back for more. Good luck and keep up the great service.

Lovely spot. Great selection of homemade cakes and shortbread options. Good drink options too Excellent portions and very well priced. Worth definitely return.

Went for dinner with family and I must say this is our next place to go to. Very authentic and tasty. Service was amazing. Will be back soon.

The structure of the menu is excellent providing an offering for all. The food is well presented and excellent. The venue is spotless and well presented. Looking forward to our next visit with friends.

Unfortunately this excellent cafe did not reopen after lockdown. It is a very sad thing as I was a regular customer

Have eaten here twice and what beautiful food it is. A simple restaurant with only a handful of covers but the food was all all so fresh and tasty. Highly recommended
