Bryn Cottage Cafe in South Ribble

Unfortunately this excellent cafe did not reopen after lockdown. It is a very sad thing as I was a regular customer

We visited Bryn Cottage Cafe for the first time today after winning a voucher in a raffle. The food and service were both excellent. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The food was delicious; home made mushroom soup and a Lancashire Cheese and caramelised red onion toastie for me, bacon on toast for my daughter. Everything was fresh and really tasty. We shared an amazing piece of chocolate cake for dessert. With two drinks the bill would have been £11.63 without the voucher which was a real bargain for the quality. The fact I only had to pay £1.63 was even better. Definitely recommended 👍🏼

Excellent breakfast, well presented, cooked to perfection,very reasonably priced, pleasant staff, clean little cafe but very limited choice if you're going for lunch.

It's a good old fashioned cafe, with home made great food, and reasonable prices.

Great food at a fair price. There in house made cake selection has to be tried.

Called on the off chance - we were seated within minutes - order taken - best breakfast I have had in along time. This is a must place to eat - food cooked to order - cakes all home made - staff very very friendly - 10 out of 10

excellent little find, small cafe, very polite staff and reasonably priced, we had the lunch specials which included soup, sandwich and a cake. very good.

Best food in the area. A sit down full breakfast is recommended

My daughter in California ordered a Valentine's Day gift of a Heart Shaped Coffee Renoir for delivery in Walmer Bridge . It was delivered in a personalised giftbox . . . The cake was very very good and beautifully presented . . Altogether extra special . . Thanks to all at Bryn Cottage . .

Myself and a friend called in for breakfast on the way to RSPB Marshside. Breakfast was excellent value for money, very enjoyable on a friendly atmosphere. They also do take aways as well. Will certainly visit again.

Don't be put off by the HGVs in the yard or the limited parking, this is a very nice cafe with a good choice of food. I think it caters mainly for breakfasts as it opens at 8 30 and closes at 2 30 and certainly the breakfast choices are very good. I had lunch (quiche with lots of trimmings) and a coffee and it cost just over £7.00.It was excellent The staff are very friendly and helpful and a lot of people are clearly regulars. It is quite small and may be worth a reservation at lunch time. I would certainly go again for breakfast or lunch.

Go here all the time with family. Cannot fault the place. Excellent staff Caroline and all the staff are great. Homemade cakes are the best. Never leave unhappy. Oh and never leave without bringing a cake home with us. Keep up the good work girls. SUPER .

Excellent food and great choice available.

Visited here with my son on a Wednesday for breakfast. Cafe and kitchen is spotlessly clean. There were 3 friendly ladies serving and they were nice and polite as well as professional and well presented. We ordered large breakfasts which consisted of two each fried eggs beans sausage bacon tomatoes fried potatoes,which were really nice, and toast and butter, with tea also we asked for black pudding and I had no baked beans. Everything was beautifully presented and as I say the place is immaculately clean, you can see right through to the kitchen which actually gleams it's that clean ! Possibly the smartest cleanest cafe I have ever been in, it is beautiful! Nothing at all to give this place but praise! Try it, it is in a hidden away place, near Altys and Tootsies but is well worth a visit. Reasonable prices and first class service and food. Many thanks, we will be back!!

the food is consistently excellent. Homemade food, cakes, puds, and the staff are so helpful. Such value for money. The only problem is that sometimes you can`t get a table.

never knew the café,once boss mentioned it and since then we are having butties only from here,its a lovely small café,with really good food,compare to some other butty shops around this one is the best.

Went for late breakfast - so glad we did it was so good freshly cooked to order - very good quality food - generous portions - bought 2 cakes to take home for afternoon tea - all home made What a find - we will be going back and very soon

the location may put people off, however the food, service, and pricing is faultless. Every time we visit the food is consistently of high quality. The cafe is small and a precious secret that those who have dined there keep going back.

Superb homemade food at a great price!!

Everything you order is superb, the meals are more than value for money. Lancashire cheese toastie, breakfast, salmon etc the best for miles. Desserts to die for and the nicest staff ever.

What a fabulous find! I've been driving past this place any amount of times, now I think I'll be finding reasons to visit... Plenty of space, comfortable seating, fresh, high quality food served very efficiently. Very clean.

Great little place but don't go if your in a rush as everything is cooked to order, great little find.

The vanilla slices are to die for.

Tom is a an amazing human being the service was spectacular and nanas special hotpot was mouth watering thank you for such an amazing experience, im taking Lucy hear on our next date even though its her nan she will love it.

The sign says truckers welcome. Probably true if you drive your truck in a suit and tie. High prices and mediocre food. Not for the working man! Not a propper cafe!
