Tried the Taste of Turkey Meaty Munchie Box and Doner Durum The wings, and Adana kebab were really good chicken shish was ok, nice marinade but the meat was dry, the rice and grilled halloumi were cold The chips were soggy and the doner meat was no good, it was too thick and dry. The doner durum was no good because of the aforementioned doner, also it was tiny for the price. Wasn't keen on the sausage or the bread but that's probably down to personal taste.

Back again this time for breakfast. Brilliant once again, Turkish breakfast highly recommended

We got the Turkish breakfast and shakshuka today. The food was very delicious, brilliant service and very nice atmosphere. One of the few restaurants that knows their spices, the shakshuka in particular was one of the best I tasted.

Their food and the level of hospitality are remarkable! The food is absolutely superb value for money. If you love some beautifully cooked meat, especially lamb, visiting this place is a must! Gul, the lady of the house, is an amazing hostess. She will make you feel like you’re her personal guest and will treat you accordingly, with the utmost care and attentiveness. Our whole family had our Christmas lunch there last year, on the actual Christmas Day. There were no astronomical prices and no set menu with all the boring traditional Christmas dishes served in other places that are open on Christmas Day, no requirement to pre-order. Everything on their usual menu was available at the usual price they charge for the rest of the year. No fuss, no drama, just delicious food and most friendly service!

Small cozy place. Warm staff. Good food. Liked the idea of putting up common turkish words to learn. But only reason giving 1 star less is the food was slightly expensive. Over all nice place.

Recently we tried Taste Of Turkey for the first time and were very impressed! Everything was fresh, full of flavour and meat cooked perfectly😍. We eat here as often as we can, and are always made welcome. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff friendly, awalkways ansking after family, and the food is just amazing. We generally get the special mixed grill, because it’s just soooo good. And the baclava and ice cream is the perfect way to finish the meal. We can’t rate Taste of Turkey highly enough. It’s our favourite restaurant by a country mile!

Don’ t usually write any reviews about places to eat but Taste of Turkey deserves a mention having just returned from dining there this evening. I feel like we could have chosen anything from the extensive menu and it would have been all as tasty and authentic as the dishes we received. Atmosphere is lively for such a small place and the staff were friendly and helpful. No rush at all in between courses and couldn’t fault anything. A real gem in Bamber Bridge and we will be returning very soon

Had a great meal with friends for little money.

Visited for the first time & will definitely return. Arrived to a warm welcome, service was friendly and professional all evening. We were a party of 4 who ordered a selection of starters & mains but requested all came together so we could share and eat in tapas style. The manager explained it would take approx 35mins to ensure all food was prepared and ready to be served together, which was fine by us as we happily enjoyed a very nice bottle of ephesus white. Small restaurant so must book a table, you won't be disappointed

Been to this restaurant twice now and having nothing but praise for the food, service and overall quality! Absolutely amazing easy to find little spot in Bamber Bridge with nearby street parking. The staff are wonderful, the two ladies (forgot to get their names!) were a delight! We booked for 7 guests and the food was perfect for each and every one of us. Complete value for money. Definitely make a reservation as this is a place you don’t wanna miss out on. A massive thanks to the whole team at Taste of Turkey from the Shirazi family.

Visited with 3 generations of family last night 13/1/24 and it was excellent, we had a home in Turkey for 14 yrs and this was very authentic, everything was exceptional. Will definitely visit again. Prices very fair, and food plentiful , staff friendly and pleasant. Brilliant night with family.

Loved the food and the atmosphere. All the staff friendly and efficient. As said in previous posts the chef also came out to ask if our food was to our satisfaction. Will certainly be going again. Just home from Taste of Turkey and I can say nothing has changed ! Still excellent. Had the chops with bulgar wheat and a side salad followed by a pistachio cake with ice cream. Can't wait to go again.

A really lovely restaurant with lovely staff. The food was exquisite. I can't wait to go back. As soon as you walk in you there you feel that you are in Turkey with the decor and the music. A very good find.

I was looking for somewhere to celebrate out wedding anniversary when BOOM! I found this gem. It's the first genuine Turkish restaurant we have found in the UK - Turkish in its welcome, its atmosphere and, especially, its food. Chef patron Hakan has cooked all over the world but it's clear his heart is still at home because his short but well-chosen menu showcases some of the best Turkish dishes, from crisp fresh sigara borek (cheese stuffed pastries) and gloriously fresh ezme to perfectly tender lamb cutlets cooked on the ocak (indoor charcoal grill) and moreish bulgur pilav. There's a decent list of Turkish wines and lovely touches like the Turkish coffee and lokum to finish the meal. While service is gentle and polite by Hakan's charming wife Gul. My husband is Turkish and my father-in-law is a Turkish chef of many years standing so believe me, we know what we are talking about. This place is a real find and we will definitely be returning.

Absolutely first class. Went tonight as a family of 6 and we all had different starters and mains and every dish was absolutely stunning. Each dish was perfect 😋 Good value on drinks prices and service was excellent, not rushed but attentive and really good value for money. Will return and recommend for sure 😁

Warm place, with great owners and delicious food. I especially recommend you to try their grilled meat. The chef's marinating and tenderness of the meat are incredible. I really enjoyed all I ate.

Excellent friendly service. Actual eye contact from staff. And they smile too! (I know that you'd be forgiven to expect this as standard but so often you go to places now and the service is appalling. But... Not here!!) . Great tasting food. Helpful and attentive team.

Amazing food and the service was great! I went to Turkey on holiday and this meal was better than my actual meals in Turkey. I had the super mix plate for 1, gave you a nice variety and everything was very good. Been on holiday in the UK for 5 weeks now and this was one of our best meals!

2nd visit to this restaurant last night. Busy, great atmosphere and again good service and lovely food. Can only handle 2 courses so we opted for starters, mains followed by coffee. Oh and of course a bottle of wine!!

We had our second meal from Taste of Turkey last night and enjoyed it as much as the first. Our children love trying the various meats, salads and dips. Next time I want to eat in as the restaurant has a lovely ambiance and the staff are very friendly.

Im gonna give this place 5 ⭐️ because the food was insanely delicious eventhough the service wasnt the best. The man waiter was a little rude, didnt smile once at us lol but i’m not the kind of person that will lower a rating based on service. I can get over that, maybe he had a bad day or something. I came for the food, & the food was 10/10 but some others might find him unpleasent

First time ordering food from here but based on the very positive reviews I thought I would give it a try. I ordered takeaway to collect and they were very quick with the order and it was ready when I turned up. I ordered the mixed meze hot starter and the mixed grill for one. First of all I have to say teh flavour and cooking of teh food especially the mixed grill meats was very good. Really tasty and ever mouthful. My only negative (and this is only mentioned as I hope the restaurant takes note and makes some changes) is that the period sizes were on the small side. In ordering the mixed starter (most expensive starter) and the mixed grill which again was fairly expensive I assumed that I would have plenty of food to go at. However I have to say the portion sizes were pretty small and below what I expected. One point for example is on the menu for the mixed grill it says you get lamb chops (I.e more than 1) but there was only 1 chop and it was very small. The amount of meat in total for what is a mixed grill seemed small. Even the bulgur pilaf which was very tasty but the amount was small and this is a very cheap product so I was disappointed. I did eat every last bit of the food as I said it was very tasty but the truth is I was still hungry once I had finished and has to go looking for more food in the kitchen at home! So overall well made and very tasty food but the portion sizes are quite small which means I ended up disappointed after spending almost £24.

Absolutely brilliant. All of the food came out quickly and was freshly grilled. Highly recommend anything on the menu which come with bulgar wheat or the chefs sauce. Staff were very nice and made everyone feel welcome. Overall 5/5. Highly recommend.

An excellent meal from start to finish, the food was just delicious. Perfect portion sizes. My favourite has to be the chocolate pistachio cake! Will definitely be returning.

Our 1st & definitely not our last. Make sure you book your table. They are understandably very busy. The whole ambience of this cute little place is lovely. Well it doesn’t feel like you’re in Preston when you’re in there, that’s for sure. The food is absolutely amazing!! So tasty, so fresh, so Turkish :) The staff are super friendly and we were well looked after. I can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend!!! We've had a wonderful evening here both times we've been. Gorgeous food; waiters, waitresses and chef all a really friendly bunch and very attentive. They made a birthday meal a very enjoyable one.

Our first visit early on Saturday evening and it won't be our last. The staff were lovely and friendly. The place was very clean and the food was freshly prepared, very tasty and really delicious. We had the house red Turkish wine and that too was excellent. We look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Brilliant. Really well priced. Great service. I had a mixed grill. Was cooked to perfection. My daughter had a steak / the other daughter had a lamb kebab - both were lovely - i tried a bit of both :), and my wife had an aubergine and minced lamb dish - again it was lovely. Would highly recommend.

Never left a review for anywhere food wise. This place truly deserves my first. Some of the greatest food I’ve had for years. Attended tonight with my partner, and so glad we did. Having had 2 starters, and a special mix platter mains to share. Honestly don’t have the words for how impressed we was with this little gem of a find. The staff, the drinks and everything about our experience was spot on. Don’t hesitate to give it a try; I’ll refund your bill myself if you don’t love it 😂

What a fantastic venue. My son booked for a large party for my 60 th birthday. The owners opened early to accommodate us. Small but beautiful. Owners are so friendly. Was like visiting old friends. Food was absolutely delicious !!! Freshly cooked. Unexpected touches like slice of cake with candle, birthday sparkler and plum lacquer wow. Highly recommend this venue. Will definitely be a return customer. 🍰🎂🥳🙂

Called in late evening without a reservation and we were welcomed with open arms. The food was excellent and the service matched the food. We had hummus starter followed by a mix grill for 2. What an outstanding gem of a restaurant! The food is spectacular and the hosts are the friendliest. The Adana Kebap is the best I have ever eaten, better than the ones I ate in Istanbul. The starters are top notch. If you want authentic Turkish food, this is the place to choose. I would go back 100%.

Recently visited with family for the first time. Food all freshly cooked. Authentic Turkish dishes. Specialities also on offer. Menu catered for vegetarians and gluten free although choice was limited. Waiter was friendly and helpful, recommending dishes according to our taste. The surroundings were clean and tidy, and with a cosy atmosphere. Car parking is either in close by side roads or restricted areas of the main road. No car park available. Catering for disabled people would be a challenge, due to the size of the restaurant internally. The entrance is a standard size opening. A variety of alcohol and non alcoholic drink options available. Turkish lager is recommended! On average we each spent approx £25 for a 3 course meal, Inc drinks. I would recommend trying A Taste of Turkey if you have not yet been.

Had an amazing meal at the Taste of Turkey in Bamber Bridge. We got a mixed mezze starter, and for our main meal a mixed grill for 2, so we could get a taste of a variety of flavours. And wow what an amazing meal. Every part of it was tasty and fresh. What a little gem of a place. We will definitely be going back.

Grate place. Food was good. I took my 10 yo daughter and they made her very welcome and fussed over her. She loved it. The chef came and said hello and helped her make up her mind by explaining the dishes. Overall a grate place.

The food was so tasty had the mix grill for 2 and bottle of house white wine. Firstly the meat was cooked to perfection and so tasty the wine was a perfect staff are so friendly and accommodating this is my new favorite place to eat by far
