The best restaurants serving Asian food in South Ribble North West

The most expensive Indian takeaway I’ve ever come across so was hoping for good things. Sadly very disappointed having paid just over £30 for a mere 2 main courses, 2 popadoms and chutneys and 1 Nan bread (I did question the price upon paying thinking they’d given me a wrong order but was abruptly told it was correct with no offer to double check they’d done the correct additions). Both main curry dishes were totally lacking any flavour or seasoning whatsoever. No acknowledgement neither from a single staff member upon entering to collect my order which I find rude beyond belief especially given I was first in line at the counter and waited a good few minutes before anyone made eye contact or attempted to speak. First and last visit without question sadly

This place has changed hands and not for the best. Just short of £10 for fish and chips for my elderly mum. She asked for lightly battered fish. The fish was 90% batter that was soggy with a tiny bit of fish in it. Way too many chips. Ended up in the bin

Excellent service. Excellent food. Lots of meat in the dish and delicious taste. Good size portions too. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Will return.

Ordered via app for collection later the same day. Easy to do and pay online. All food was ready on time, with a couple of extras thrown in! We ordered one of the meals for 2 and one meal for one. You can chose any starter and main, and then get poppadoms, 3 dips, rice and a naan bread each. The chicken pakora was delicious, as was my prawn dupiza. We were having meal for 5 adults but 3 meals was enough. Great value for money. Very pleasant staff too. Will be back.

Poppadoms tasted stale and were very greasy. Minuscule amounts of chutney, certainly not worth the price. Main courses were ok ish. Although the lamb in one dish was rather chewy not melt in the mouth as you’d expect and the prawns in the other dish were chewy and very over cooked. All in all very disappointing.

We have used this takeaway a few times in the past and now have great app to order and collect. On new years eve at 8.09am, before I went to work, I ordered our usual for collection at 1 8.40. When I went in the guy had about 10tickeys but none under my name. I had the order confirmed on my tablet but he said bluntly 'no order'. My whole family ended up with toast for tea as other establishmenys busy too. I'll never use again.
