Mcdonald's Restaurants in South Ribble

Even before my food is delivered… the experience is a let down! Every single time without fail, “please park up and we will bring your food out to you”… then there is no where to park. I’ve now been waiting 15 minutes and my food still hasn’t been delivered to my car. What’s the point in calling it “fast food”, or in having a drive thru? Location really isn’t suitable if they can’t cope.

Not very accurate with orders, I have been given the wrong order on several occasions when using the drove through.

love the food but by Big Mac was the size of a double cheeseburger

An early morning breakfast, ordered at the machines and waited for table service. The area was clean and presented in the standards you'd expect of a McDonald's. Food brought to the table by a polite member of staff. It was hot and tasted great. The only let down was that the wrap was ripped and the sauce leaked from it down the carton, otherwise I'd have given it another star. The latte was great. I wonder how long it'll be before you can buy the pods or beans for the maker at home?!

Two missing dips,triple cheeseburger had tom sauce and onions on it when there should not have been!no napkins.also no straw for the milkshake which had leaked!

Standard McDonald’s. This one outside some closed down shops in Leyland. (Lidl no longer…) Loss of shops means more spaces for the visitor. Drive-Thru attached. Very efficient inside - several pay and order kiosks and a single till. The till was surprisingly popular for some reason. Food arrived hot and as ordered; in good time. Missing sauces provided on request. Essentially all working as it should be. Hot food fast. Well done. The complete opposite to Thursday’s experience in Burger King.

Clean premises, very helpful staff

Absolutely disgusting got our food through just eat ordered a medium meal and a large the good was stone cold which was the delivery’s fault but my main complaint was the lack of chips it didn’t even fill the chip carton to the 1/2 way mark and none had fallen into the bag itself after ringing the store I was rudely told if I didn’t like it to take it up with just eat which I will be for the coldness of it but surely McDonald are accountable for there portion sizes . Disgusting !!!!!

Managers are playing the system, Saying orders are ready to collect for just eat drivers , when they are definitely not.

Went the drive through fast food and coffee was nice an hot.

Been here on 3 separate occasions now. Each time there has been a problem with the drive-thru order. From getting the order completely wrong, to making us wait 15 minutes (and then forgetting our drinks), as well as the coffee tasting like hot, brown water. Leyland's restaurant isn't getting better, if anything it's getting worse. Learned my lesson now though. I'll go further to a better Macdonalds

You are a pure disappointment. Just received my order. And you know what? The hamburger is not there. And they do not respond because it is an Uber delivery. I had to speak with Uber even I have ordered on Mc app. Uber did not send the item but will refund 2.55£ for the non delivered double quarter pounder with cheese. Thank you for coke and fries dinner!

Once again there are no receipts in the self service machines, so you have to guess your order number. This time the food was cold too! I’d complain, but some chap has been stood in the queue for the last 10 mins trying to find a staff member to do the same thing. In future I’ll just go via the drive through as they seem to take precedence.

Typical McDonald's. Staff were friendly and only a short wait for food through drive through, due to a bigger order. Convenient fast food. Couldn't find ANY bins around the car park so had to walk to restaurant entrance. 🙄. Bin was already overflowing at door to entrance, so disappointing

Although I only had a cappuccino, I know the food is great as I've eaten here before, the atmosphere is always great, the service can be rather slow at times. But overall a good place to eat and drink.

We visit every Friday for an after-school treat. We usually go through the drive thru, but my eldest son wanted to go into sit down at the ipads. We spent about an hour here today it wasn't too busy, so luckily, there was one free for him to sit and play. It's a lovely way to keep them sitting down to eat 😆

Very early start with my little girl,she wanted pancakes with syrup and orange juice,drove home and there was no syrup or orange juice,my hash brown was also missing from the order,as I live 20 minute drive away I wasn't going to drive back, the staff are so friendly and helpful,a shame this visit wasn't upto.the usual standard

Delivery drivers waiting 40 min to 1 hour for customer orders is unacceptable. You really need to train your staff to fulfill deliveries faster - bag off food getting cold on your shelf while awaiting drinks?? Really?!

Last time I'm ordering from here. Just ordered through the Mcdelivery app this morning, once the order was ready two Uber drivers came to collect and then cancelled. Got to 45 minutes and an Uber driver from Bamber Bridge ended up coming all the way down to deliver order. Food was stone cold obviously. The app makes it impossible to claim a refund. Avoid Leyland McDonald's!!

Got food poisoning from this McDonald's, I've never been this sick before. Probably an unlucky draw for me, but still wouldn't try my luck there again.

Got my food and sent to next window to wait for my coke and Orange juice., sat there 10 minutes.,so i got out of my car and went to first window and said hove you forgot my drinks he said i get it now. And then he came with the drinks so Anoying my food had gone cold .this has happened 2 times now. And also my extra chips were missing

Service is poor, wait time is longer, after taking order (even before taking order), they don’t give a damn about customer. No smile, no friendliness, always talking to each other even while taking order.

Hopeless! sat in left queue with no service for ten minutes whilst right queue had many cars go through then server couldn’t get the order right so we were sat trying to go through the order multiple times. I could tell person taking orders was new as they kept asking someone how to process the order for a cheeseburger meal plus a separate cheeseburger (just the sandwich). Someone took over the order and we got through without hiccup after. The whole thing left me feeling really disappointed.

Finally got some food after a friend walked in & ordered on screen for me,food luke warm and honestly looked like it had been thrown around... absolutely no care what so ever! Called at 8am for breakfast, was only 2 cars in front of me, my order was taken by a really happy jolly guy with a great clear voice, waited a little longer than during the day as everything is cooked to order, but it was hot and tasty. Service at window 3 again was lovely with happy staff happy to help. Great service all round.

Excellent stopover midway round the reservoirs for a full English before 12.30pm. Try it!!!!! And then a pint looking over the reservoirs before heading home.

The McDonald's experience at this location was average, receiving 3 stars. Like other patrons, I encountered a recurring issue of missing serviettes during my drive-thru takeout. Despite the food meeting expectations, the oversight with essentials like serviettes impacted the overall satisfaction. It would be beneficial for the staff to address this consistent concern for a more enjoyable dining experience.

McDonald's. Pretty much took the whole ethos of fast, convenient, hot food and turned it on its head in the UK. That said I enjoy going for a coffee and hot apple pie. The food is adequately warm, if not always piping hot, and consistent in it's quality and taste. Some of it is pretty awesome and some of it is meh. Fillet o fish I'm looking at you there. Chicken Nuggets are the food of the gods. Coffee The coffee is always scorching hot and good.

Drive through staff are extremely rude and arrogant

Check your take out order carefully before leaving. The number of times this year I've got home and found part of my order missing is getting silly. The difficulty is proving what's missing because the self service machine receipts hardly ever work and it's rare to actually find anyone on the counter to help. If you order in store, you have to wait far longer than if you use the Drive Thru, so you may as well just keep burning those fossil fuels if you want timely service.

Frequently use this place for a quick breakfast & the occasional easy evening meal, however the service is hopeless. Ordering a “large white coffee” results in a small white coffee being handed to you at the drive through…no serviettes or straws placed in bags when delivered to your door…cold drinks & fries missing from multiple orders….food stone cold …….these are happening almost every time I order from them. These are not verbal orders, they’re written down for goodness sake!

How McDonald's could get so bad ! Ordered a chicken big Mac, was delivered a beef big Mac inside a chicken bic Mac box.... Chicken grilled wrap absolutely disgusting, chicken was cold the whole order was cold, chips hard like been sat out for a long time. Awful awful awful

How on earth the manager of this place isn't looking into the amount of 1 star reviews this place is getting and doing something about it Food delivered always cold , missing items, or completely wrong items ... Have experienced this on more than one occasion now ..won't be using the delivery service again.

I never go to McDonalds. Its not my thing. -I just went there to use the toilet when nothing else was open and now google want me to leave a review. I can't comment on the food or service but i can on the bathroom. The cubicle was tiny but it was fairly clean in there. The toilet had a mains water leak that was making a puddle on the floor. There was a speaker playing music too loudly that I found annoying. It was well lit. Overall it wasn't the best resteraunt toilet experience but at least it was warm and hygienic which is what matters most.

I ordered this of uber eats I bought a large milkshake it cam in a large cup but there was only half a milkshake in there

This is now the 4th time we have ordered though just eat and the order has come short. Although the quality of the food that has arrived is good its disappointing that orders keep arriving with missing items especially when we've placed the order as a treat for our children and now one doesn't have fries and one doesn't have a drink.

Uninterested staff,more important to chatter through the back. Refurbished to make it easier for staff to hide. They are only interested in drive through and remote order and delivery service. Food not particularly hot,warm at best, fast food is a joke!

They have served some appalling McMuffins, particularly from 10:30-11:00, but food is good apart from that. Service, while not great, is outstanding compared to other McDonald's establishments, which can be particularly shocking.

Got food fairly quickly. The ladies in the main restaurant were friendly and helpful. Kids enjoy going.

Over the past 6 months or so I've used the McDonald's app to order a breakfast meal from the Leyland McDonald's. Maybe I'm the fool to keep ordering but literally 1 out of every 3 orders has been wrong, usually with major items missing such as a sausage Mcmuffin!!! It's almost impossible to rectify your order if wrong when being delivered and you just end up paying double for half your order! Staff need to be more careful when picking and packing and if it's too difficult to put the correct food in a bag then I'd say they're going to have a very hard life 🤦🏻‍♂️ Avoid or check your order immediately when you get it!

Absolute awful service . Supervisor was an absolute horrible woman. Attitude stinks. If she doesn't want to do the job STAY at home . Got to be the worse McDonald's I've ever BEEN to.

Missing items in our delivery, to which I had to re buy phoned customs service useless. Staff was no help when I went in to get missing items. The time before I ordered from here, it never showed up.

We had a large order, which we struggled to get through on click and collect, so we ended up going through the drive-through. Payment hadn't been made so I paid at the window and was asked to park up and wait for the food to be brought out. We had the first bits brought out and then she came back with the drinks, however in the meantime we had checked the order and had something missing. We mentioned this and another staff member came out stating that 2 of the 4 we ordered were ready, but we could either wait 6 minutes for the other 2 or take something else off the menu. We chose to wait. 20 minutes later I caught a member of staff as they were taking a click n collect order to another car, he apologised and brought them out. Our food was on the colder side when we got home. 😩

Went through drive through, the server couldn't hear as the microphone wasn't working and became really ratty towards us, the food was cold (ate straight away in car park) . Cashier was sharp and blunt when collecting food /paying 0 customer service skills

Decided to drive through for quicker service. 3 cars in front of us. Ordered 2 standard meals and 5 cold drinks. Asked to wait at 2nd window. 20 minutes later still no food. Left person inside after speaking to staff. Went to drop off child at a dance class returned 20 minutes later and still had to wait another 15 minutes for food. As compensation one of the meals was made large. Plenty staff in kitchen. All working slowly. Restaurant was full and a lot of people were waiting both inside and in cars outside. Slowest fast food ever!

Mcslow, these days -more interested in sorting the just eat brigade than either the drive-through or in-house customers . Fast food -the words a joke -higher prices -smaller quantity of everything -your even putting in more ice -so you get less drink !!

On vacation from Phoenix, Arizona. Experience here seemed better than back home. I liked that there are QR codes on the tables to place a mobile order, haven't seen this in Phoenix yet. Observed the staff were very courteous & professional, facilities were clean. Thank you.

Ive just been in hospital for three months so i ordered 3x fillet of fish two meals one on own but one missing all i got was 3.15 refund from just eat lol I've contacted local environmental health food was freezing mr mears Pr5 6jn

If you want the slowest ever McDonalds service look no further, it was fairly quiet yet we had to wait 35 minutes for our food… not quite the “fast” food we came in for. Avoid this franchise and use another one is my advice.

Rude staff. Can’t wait to get rid of you. Car park is confusing and I’m sure it’s a free for all for the disabled spaces. No salt on the fries, no napkins given for a takeaway and burger was cold after making me wait at the second window to collect. And the staff look and speak to you like they hate you, seriously.

Went to get breakfast after a 12 hour night shift as I've done many times before the refurb. Sat at drive through for around 5 mins with no one taking my order. A car pulls up to the other side and gets served straight away. I left with out ordering. I would of understood they could of been having issues but sorting the person who just pulled up was a joke. Food is usually decent but I'm rating my experience.

The worst maccies I've ever been too. Order a large fries and you get half a portion of you're lucky, every time. Doesn't matter if you order through the app or drive through, the portion sizes are a joke. Always something missing from your order and I mean always. Wraps, chips, burgers, they'll miss it all off. Uber messed up our order and then i rang the Uber helpline which wasn’t helpful , spoke back with store and want to give RIK business manager a massive thanks and shout out for sorting Ubers mistake out , it’s really appreciated and the kids were made up ! We need more RIK’s !

I ordered a meal from this McDonald’s through Uber eats to which I didn’t receive the burger for my meal. Further to this we called the branch in leyland to which we advised we were missing the burger and they advised that they couldn’t help. We were then passed through to customer service who advised they would refund us for the burger which I was underfunded £5.87 and therefore have lost money on a meal I did not eat. The leyland branch and customer service is absolutely appalling and cannot believe I have not been refunded the whole amount.

Use to love this place but since the refresh it’s gone terrible young staff stood around chatting having a laugh I stood at the counter for 15 minuets after being in the drive thru to find missing items I think you need to thing you’re management in store becasue they’re all doing what they want without a care in the world but 15 minuets I was stood there and was ignored even when trying to speak to them

This is the worst McDonald's in the North West. Every time I go through the drive through nothing is ready, not enough spaces for the amount of cars that have to wait and Every time the order is wrong and looks like its been thrown together. AVOID THIS MCDONALD'S.

Must be new staff, there was a little confusion & they initially got our order wrong, but it was quickly resolved.

Since the renovation to the McDonald's premises. Staff are always in a sleepy state like daydreaming They never know what they doing they seem to not care thers absolutely no life in any of the staff Jenny who works there she is absolutely lovely she is the only one that brings life with her always smiling 😃 with a sence of care to everyone All rest are useless honestly would not trust them buttering the bread
