My partner and I went for lunch today and were both very impressed with both food and staff. The 3 courses we had were delicious and the staff were on hand for anything you needed. Lovely surroundings and we had the bonus of meeting a lovely couple on the table next to us. We will for sure be returning soon.

We had some free time before the train departure and by pure luck we ended up in this pub. As it was a Wednesday special night we were kindly invited to the basement Amazing. Every man’s dream place. We can’t wait to be back in January.

I had a booking at your hotel from December 1st to December 6th, but my stay turned into a nightmare the moment I stepped inside. From the outside, the hotel looked like a charming little place, but as soon as I opened the entry door, a horrible, musty smell hit me. It only got worse when I went upstairs—the stench was unbearable, and the carpets were filthy and stained, as though they hadn’t been cleaned in years. When I finally reached my room, the same awful smell lingered. The room was so dark and unwelcoming that I had to open the windows just to breathe. It was freezing outside, but closing the window was impossible because the odor would immediately fill the room again. I was exhausted and tried to rest, but I couldn’t sleep due to the cold or the suffocating atmosphere. The bathroom was no better. There was visible mold, and the toilet brush was disgustingly dirty—it was clear that basic hygiene standards were not being met. I felt deeply uncomfortable staying in a place like this. Out of desperation, I contacted Booking.com, hoping they could help, but their response was far from helpful. I then decided to read the reviews for the hotel (something I now deeply regret not doing beforehand) and was shocked to find countless other guests describing the exact same issues I was experiencing. I spoke with the receptionist about the problems, and to their credit, they acknowledged everything I mentioned and apologized. They offered me a different room, but I refused because the smell throughout the entire building was unbearable. I then inquired about a refund, and the receptionist assured me that Booking.com would process it since it was a third-party booking. Since then, I’ve been stuck in a back-and-forth between Booking.com and the hotel, with neither taking responsibility. The hotel has refused to offer even a partial refund, not even 50%, which I think is the least they could have done given the appalling conditions. To be offered absolutely nothing after such a miserable experience feels deeply unfair and disrespectful. I feel completely let down and ignored. This is not how customers should be treated. I trusted this hotel and Booking.com to provide me with a safe and comfortable place to stay, but instead, I was subjected to unbearable conditions and no resolution. I sincerely hope you take this complaint seriously and reconsider how you handle situations like this. No guest should ever have to go through what I experienced.

I have experience better nandos being completely honest, I don't know if it was just an off day but the chicken was incredibly dry on both our dishes, other then that all was good, the staff are lovely and extremely friendly!

This place is permanently closed so do not book, we found that out in March for our anniversary dinner... Contacted the reservation company too but seems they are still letting people reserve... Poor form all round

Was directed to a table ... but the bench we were sitting on was sticky and disgusting. Didn't stay as this was as good enough indication to me of their attitude to hygiene. Lots of staff standing around chatting, but obviously not enough people cleaning.Shame as we used to like Nandos and were hopeful after a failed attempt to eat at the branch in Finchley Road a week or so ago where the staff were not quite sure whether they were actually open to visiting diners!

Paid £30 to reserve a table, told to sit anywhere , when questioned why we didn't have a reserved table the person serving asked if we had a problem! ,very hostile attitude. we sat the same person threw the menus on the table , not a word spoken and then walked off. The place was dead - no atmosphere a couple of people sitting with laptops and no one eating, so didn't understand why they charged £30 to reserve a table ! we ordered food and drink at the bar, after looking at the delicious pictures online of the massive homemade Yorkshire puddings and lashings of gravy very much looked forward to it. What came back where 3 stone cold plates - even the gravy was cold, a bit of brown unidentifiable meat, slice of burnt cabbage, a couple of roasts and 2 obviously Aunt Bessie's Yorkshires, still frozen , we immediately sent all 3 plates back , and because of the attitude of the server said we had decided to leave , could we have a refund please? Went over to the till, upon we where asked what we had ordered and how much it was, I offered my card to receive the refund ( again as we had paid when we ordered ) and was snapped at for not understanding it doesn't work like that , after apologizing for not understanding the till arrangements in the establishment ! I was then told to leave you have your money back ! checked my account, no we don't so just told to email and it will be sorted, Not one word of an apology ! and ruining our day out - Avoid at all costs - Never been anywhere like it the staff are the rudest you could begin to imagine - they really should go and work on a doctors reception or something instead of contributing to why hospitality is on its knees !

The first impression is sad,... ;((( there is no atmosphere like in the old previous place, a place that was warm and cozy, it's a pity that the tables are very close to each other and you have to be careful not to disturb those next to the table. The place is mixed in with the crowd of other places, the menu is already in the form of a plastic cardboard box, previous dumpling sets he doesn't exist anymore !!!! ,you have to go to pick up the bill because the staff forgets to take an interest, ;(( generally it's not as nice as it used to be.
