Very loverly staff, everyone is friendly and the food is even better than the staff

Was very disappointed that no one served us, waited for 5 mins even when the chap saw us still didn't serve us. This was on Monday afternoon and the whole place was empty. We ended up leaving disappointed

Never had a bad dominos. Friendly delivery driver and didn't have to wait to long for the order either.

Stops taking orders halfway through paying for the order, having already claimed a voucher so can't even get a refund. Useless.

Excellent! We came yesterday it was a really pleasant experience! We simply scanned the QR code at the table ordered our meals and it came super quick! It was such great service! The food was Beautiful we really enjoyed it! No problems at all! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Very busy restaurant on a early Saturday evening but we were greeted professionally and promptly. The friendly girl took our name and explained it could be up to a 40 minute wait, we were happy with this and returned 20 minutes later and only had to wait another 5 minutes before been seated. The staff were extremely helpful as we weren’t familiar with the menu. The food and drinks were served quickly, tasted lovely and was nice and hot. Our waiter Niall was extremely obliging, would definitely return when next in the area.

Couldn’t have been more helpful .Went for lunch with my adult daughter who has a severe nut allergy. Ordered rainbow slaw. No nuts but having had a recent allergic reaction I was concerned as the slaw looks okey and tasted as though it had pine nuts in. I questioned this with the guy who served us. Immediately got out the allergen menu. He explained that as far as they were aware at Nando’s this did not contain nuts. He went on to offer a further side salad my daughter felt comfortable eating there. Couldn’t fault him He restored my faith in customer service. Great employee -Nando’s should hold onto him. He was rushed off his feet yet he took the time to help and reassure us. Thank you Nando’s guy ( sorry I didn’t catch your name ) We will recommend Nando’s Castleford to anyone who listens. 5 stars

Wish I could give 0!! Have previously used this one and had an amazing time, but for around 1 month, pizzas are cold, late or are marked as delivered and turn up 20 minutes later. Had multiple times where we’ve had to complain or ask for another order cause of mistakes or it been cold. Very much a let down

Our 9 year old wanted to go to Nando’s for her birthday treat after bowling. My husband and I aren’t regular visitors to the restaurant chain and had a neutral opinion of it before we arrived. Personally felt ‘what could go wrong with chicken? Everyone loves chicken, including my kids’. We waited 10 minutes for a table - absolutely nothing wrong with that. Staff were okay. They were certainly hard working and it was busy when we arrived. We were shown to a table which was clean and instructions given. We chose our order and paid at the til. When it arrived, I was disappointed with my dish. I ordered 1/4 chicken with peri fries and rainbow slaw. My daughter ordered the same except for garlic bread and peri fries. We all ordered peri fries and they weren’t peri fries! Just normal chips as we couldn’t taste any seasoning on them. My husband ordered a burger (cannot remember what it was called but it stood out on the menu with an image). It was half the size. My son’s pitta was probably the only meal (and my daughter’s chicken) that resembled what it should look like. The rainbow slaw was not great. Okay but wasn’t something I would rave about. My daughter’s chicken was double the size of mine and had plenty meat on it. Mine was mostly all bone and I had to scrape meat from it due to the type of thigh it was. I think the chicken was better off dead judging by the quality of the meat. It tasted and looked like cheap chicken. Our meals were £11 and £15 and we didn’t feel like we got £11 and £15 meals. Needless to say, we asked our kids if they would come back since they had Ben dying to come as neither had been to Nando’s before and both said a firm no! It’s fast-food served on a plate but it’s a rip-off with quality and price.

Came after visiting Bella & Ask Italian and being left standing and waiting yo be acknowledged even!! Staff welcomed is at the door and seated us. Food was easy to order and came quickly as did drinks. Tara Emily and a young lad served us and they were all lovely. Thanks guys, you restored our faith

Half and half pizza with stuffed crust! Was very nice tbh, can be hit and miss with toppings, tend to find that when selecting extra cheese as option often can’t tell if it’s been added, additionally garlic spread as topping used to be prominent taste now it’s only subtle. Otherwise still enjoy an occasional pizza from here when the offers are right! Delivery charge now is a joke

Don't often eat pizza but after a few hours in A&E it was very welcome.

The staff were helpful but we waited a long time for stale, undercooked garlic bread and peri chips with the most insulting amount of peri salt on. The worst Nando’s we’ve ever been to

I am absolutely outraged. Me and my two friends came for an 18th birthday meal on our lunch at college, the website tells us 11:30 open, we get there at 11:40 and are told ten minutes. After half an hour of waiting we go in again and we are told now an hour and a half. Staff were unbelievably rude and didn’t apologise. Short girl with dark hair. Disgraceful and won’t be returning.

Absolutely awful phone manners, my delivery said it was coming next day when it said half hour on app, rang to see y an the guy on other end of phone put phone down, rang back again, woman answered this time asked for the guys name she wudnt give me it to report him an says manager will ring me in the morning so I hope they do cos if not I will make a trip in personally.

We spent £110 on pizza for my brothers house warming tonight and a bottle of Fanta was missing. It wasn’t an issue as we called domino’s and they said they would get a bottle out to us which was great. The driver refused to come up to our apartment stating it was “against their policy”. If you check the website to find these policies, it actually states the “drivers may deliver to the door” so it seems to be more driver discretion rather than a black and white policy. So how is it that I can be charged for delivery when I’m having to go get it myself? If I lived in a house it would be delivered to my door. Why am I penalised and discriminated against for living in an apartment? Absolutely disgusting service! This dominos seems to have terrible reviews and maybe a change of management is needed!

The last two visits here were spoilt by their corn on the cob been over cooked left to go cold and served to us. On both times they were sent back and replaced by hot correctly cooked corns.. Why are Nando’s allowing these to be sent out to customers in the 1st place .. They new they were not right as the young lady who served us said they were having issues with their cobs ..

Came to visit here with a friend. The food was nice and the staff were polite, drinks machine wasn’t working though so had to have cans of pop, but obviously that can’t be helped.

I’ve always had a good order delivery with Castleford. Tonight ive ordered 2 large pizza’s like normal, pepperoni passion n a mighty meaty. Tonight the pepperoni passion was just a cheese pizza. Come on even the label on the outside said pepperoni passion. Who is checking this? Complained promised it was on its way. Where is it?? VERY VERY POOR CMON UP YOUR GAME £26 FOR THESE WHATS GOING ON???

Ordered a veggie pizza. Wasnt happy with the amount of veggies were put on top of the pizza 😶 could do with a little bit of more toppings on the pizza.

Massively downhill over last months would definitely avoid.

Pizza takes 6 minutes to prepare and cook, we ordered in store and saw other customers come in and place their orders and receive it before ours had even gone into the oven. Aside that, multiple pizzas were leaving the establishment every 5 minutes, for online orders. We waited 45 minutes for our pizza to be handed over the counter. I don't do online ordering after my previous experience where I never received the goods despite the driver marking them as delivered. Online orders should have their own shops specifically for that, mixing two services together only serves to frustrate customers to a degree they choose take their custom elsewhere. That is where I am at, no more Dominoes for me.

Went for a Nando’s last night and the staff were great! They were so lovely and friendly - special shout out to Nora, Izzy and Taylor who were so polite and friendly and couldn’t help enough. The chicken butterfly was also cooked to perfection!! Will be back!

If you like dirty tables and cutlery, being surrounded by loud, brash, sweary people and paying over the odds for mediocre food from a very limited menu then please book a table.....if not go somewhere better....It wouldn't be hard. That's all I have to say really.

5 stars all round for this dominos store, I was on a business trip in castleford and after a long 6 hour journey from Scotland i treated myself to a domino woohoo, expert delivery driver callum brought my delivery very fast and efficient. I've never seen a man with such a greeting smile, I will 100 percent come to this dominos again :)

Been a few times. Food seems alright for me but 1 time food was bit burnt and manager was nice and gave me free replacement.

Ordered online. Watched screen for progress and food appeared to be sat in quality check for sometime prior to delivery. When the food arrived the pizza was flat cold and so over cooked it was crispy. Rang to complain, girl took message and said it would be pasted on to management. Heard nothing?????? Thanks, this is the very last time, best part of £30 in bin!!!

Visited at lunchtime midweek, no waiting, seated immediately . Food ordered and delivered quickly , sadly no frozen yoghurt available for dessert. Food hot and fresh. Three meals ordered and refillable drinks came to £43.

My go to Pizza place for delivery. While I've always ordered for the pziza to be delivered, and never actually gone inside this place, I feel like I can share my thoughts on it. After ordering, pizza is made very quickly. Doesn't take long for their online tracker to start updating, and usually the pizzas are very fresh and tasty. Every delivery driver I've had has been great. All of them have been very polite and full of smiles, and on the odd few times the delivery has taken longer than they estimated, they've apologised to me even when I had no issue with the food being late at all. The let down for this place is both the prices and sides. With only ordering for delivery, you can't really use any of their really good deals online. Theres the odd few, but most feel worthless, or only save you a very small amount of money. Sides are very hit or miss, and heavily depend on what you get. For example, their wedges are sometimes soggy and slightly undercooked, whereas their Garlic Bread is usually perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Overall, a pretty solid Domino's. Would recommend if looking for a place to get a very tasty pizza from. While it has its issues, it's a pretty good place.

Ordered a pizza to get delivered to my truck which isn’t always easy. But I always give as much information as I can restricted to 50 characters in the app Even so it’s still the correct address and postcode took a hour to arrive from point of ordering and the delivery driver drove straight past me!!!!!! Only one truck with this registration number on mate. The store was only a five minute drive away. Shocking. Anyway the pizza wasn’t as hot for obvious reasons. So probably take my business elsewhere next time in castleford

Vegetarian options still not back. It’s been a few years now since they removed the vegetarian options including the mushroom and halloumi stating this was due to COVID. However, they keep adding more meat options but still only have the beanie option for vegetarians! Most companies are adding more vegetarian and vegan options not removing them. The great imitator is labelled as “plant based” because it isn’t actually vegan or even vegetarian! Completely ridiculous!! Nando’s has gone backwards not forwards!!

Driver couldn't open my gate and also did not speak English when I was explaining how to open the gate he kicked the gate! nice one won't ever be ordering from here again if these are the kind of staff you hire. disgusting.

I've always loved nandos. Perfect place to go before the cinema. This latest visit was my first since end of lockdown and it'll be my last. In the past you'd order and have the food within 10 minutes, it now takes nearly 30 minutes as the staff seemingly just prioritise the never ending line of delivery drivers turning up for collections. By the time our food arrived we literally had to shovel it down so quickly it wasn't at all enjoyable. Next time I'll go somewhere they prioritise seated guests and not deliveries

Nice fresh pizzas and the new £2,99 mini pizza is value for money in my opinion because you can have as many toppings as you like for the same price.

Everyone knows Domino's pizza. Good and fast service. Easy to get to at the back of escape.

Have yet to have a bad interaction with this store. In the rare occasion I've spoken to anyone here they were polite, and my food has only been wrong once and they corrected the mistake immediately. While very expensive, the deals make the food worth it, though not something to buy too often.

Was missing 6 items from our order. Luckily I spotted it before we drive away

When we got seated after three quarter hour delay we were told that as there were no paper menus we should scan aQR code. The code failed to work on both our phones and when we called for assistance we were made to feel it was our fault. I was allowed to go to the counter and order but it came without drinks, cutlery and one salad short. The duty manager was only grudgingly helpfull and when I said the service was very poor she brought over take away boxes and told us to get out Furthermore, the food looked very dry and the rainbow salad looked unappetising.

The young lad on entry was doing a fantastic job. Unfortunately from going inside it all changed around. We ordered online and waited and waited for drinks but we had to call a team member over to get our drinks. The staff were more interested in pouring themselves drinks which were stacked skins a shelf behind our heads on table 26. Pouring our drinks they were holding our glasses by the rim of all the glasses! The food arrived quickly as always. But every piece of boneless chicken thigh had a bone in it. Not being able to get your own sauces we completely understand due to Covid restrictions and so forth but the tam made this pointless as sauces were just taken back from table and stacked back in rack to them be handed to a new set of customers. An overall unsafe experience in a restaurant that we loved. Staff need training better on Covid safety and customer service

Last time we ordered from dominoes we had no problems at all. 2nd time ordering though and what a complete disaster. Asked for a vegan margarita with mushroom and vegan nuggets (also ordered more items which were perfectly fine) 1st driver arrived and we hadn't received the nuggets. Rang the takeaway place to say nuggets were missing and that the margarita had been sent with extra tomato toppings rather than mushroom. 2nd driver arrived 20 mins later, we received nuggets but was given garlic and herb vegan pizza. Asked driver to take it back and would contact the take away again. Same driver came back to say the takeaway said it was mushroom and it was what we ordered. Took a bite and it was garlic! Apparently the attached image is meant to be a mushroom pizza?! Safe to say we won't be going to dominoes again!

So me and the missus thought to ourselves lets have a cheeky takeaway tonight so ordered off the App as you do. Came Early Fantastic! But mucked up my partners order. Phoned them up woman on the phone was lovely sorted us out and said they will make a new one and send it out straight away. So that should be the end of it right? Nope. Came again and was completely wrong. Send it back. Called them back the woman again was lovely and was apologetic over the matter. Waited and it finally came again! 🎉 However this time the Takeaway said "This is what we ordered." How hard is it to stick Mushrooms on a pizza? 🍕🍄 First time it came and it was tomatoes on pizza. Second time it was Garlic & Herb Third time Still Garlic & Herb. (They must think we sre vampires and trying to get rid of us) Seriously cannot be that hard to do a simple vegan cheese pizza and stick some mushrooms on top? The main reason I am giving it a 1 star is my partner is now "Hangry" and Im now getting an earfull. The woman on the phone was lovely very helpfull The takeaway place itself Not helpful at all. Unfortuneatly wont be ordering from this one again. Horrendus service. We will stick to Pizza Hut from now on 👍👌 😖

We arrived as a family and we’re absolutely appalled to find out the advertised 20% NHS discount is capped at £4 which for a family of 5 was embarrassing really. Clearly Nando’s are using this as more of a marketing ploy. It would be much better if they also offered normal table service rather then the mobile app- luckily we were able to help but our parents and grandparents would have struggled otherwise.

We checked out the website that said open from 11:30am to 10pm. We arrived at 12.... Shutters closed and staff chatting. I scanned the QR code straight away, so first in the queue. When they eventually opened at 12:10, they told me that they had a 30 minute wait for food!!! Why!? It wasn't exactly busy.

Great pizza (if they manage to get your order rite) Awful service ... they have messed my order up or not delivered multiple times . The pizza tracker is useless, as are the employees. They are clearly reading from a script and pay little attention to what you are actually saying . Never again .

I have worked in the Castleford area from Monday to Friday since 2015 and as Nando’s chicken is one of my favourite foods I regularly order from this restaurant, roughly around 2 or 3 times a week. Today the click and collect was down which is the service I have used on the Nandos app since the start of COVID-19 so I went in to see if I could order my meal another way, from going in the restaurant I found out the only way to do so was through using deliveroo. Obviously this wouldn’t have been ideal as my lunch break is relatively short and usually deliveroo takes too long meaning I wouldn’t have been able to place an order today. A staff member called Ryan (apologies I didn’t get his last name) recognised the inconvenience as well as the fact I am regular customer so he managed to resolve the situation and process my usual order through straight away. It was only a small gesture but one you don’t get in other large chain restaurants so that convinced me to write my first ever review. In general though I have visited various Nando’s in the past and I have to say the staff at this branch are by far the most friendly, helpful and attentive whether you’re sitting in (pre COVID) and hopefully I will again soon or using the click and collect especially Ryan who I have mentioned above as he has taken my order many times in the last few years. I hope this review doesn’t get him or the rest of the staff in to any trouble and I am happy to pay for my order today next time I am in (£12.25).

Ordered a take out via deliveroo to the tune of £78 for the family, when recieved, half of the order missing, rang Nando’s and they blamed deliveroo, the packaging was unopened so couldn’t blame deliveroo, Nando’s not interested, think they need to start checking their orders, will not be using again

There was a blonde manager in today whilst me and my sister were sat in the restaurant eating. She was rude and blunt with us and i overheard her speaking to her staff in a derogatory and rude manner which overall just ruined our meal. I was disgusted by the way she was behaving i would never expect someone working in customer service to behave the way that she did. Apart from that the rest of the staff were lovely and so accommodating to us. Would‘ve been one star if the staff hadn’t been so lovely.

Absolutely disappointed with the visit to nandos Castleford. The food was cold, the burger bun was rock solid. Our server was Nicole and she was rude, she missed food from our order and made our visit very unpleasant. Won't be returning anytime soon.

Cannot complain about the food this was perfect.However, we arrived at 2.30pm on a Monday so not overly busy it was just me, my disabled Husband and toddler son, we went to try and do the virtual que but had an issue getting Internet signal we spoke to the girl who was seating people and she told us if we cannot do this online she cannot let us in. So I questioned this and asked what if we didn't have Internet or a mobile you will turn custom away she said yes and that they also only do online ordering for food. Luckily my Husband managed to get signal and we joined the virtual que, 20 minutes wait even tho there were empty tables available. So I asked if we could sit inside as my husband cannot stand, huge sigh from the girl and she got my husband a chair however she seated him outside Nandos in Xscape foyer.The restaurant had like 4 customers in sat down.Anyway roll on 20 minutes and we got seated at a table that had been free the whole time.Sits down the table is obviously dirty so rather than disturbing the girls huddled in the corner near the kitchen on their mobile phones we take our own antibacterial wipes out and wipe the table, the amount of dirt came off the table was disgusting. Covid secure I think not.Anyway as we was using a gift card I noticed you cannot pay this way on the Internet so I mention it to a staff member oh and surprise you can actually order at the table and pay normally not requiring the Internet.Honestly the staff where more bothered about socialising than serving and cleaning properly. The toilets where also disgusting.Nandos you need to sort this out.

Travelled here to get the Eat out to help out scheme as it was advertised on the government website only to be greeted by a members of staff saying they are not doing it. Who ever runs this place needs "relocating".

First time ordering from Domino, wow how disappointing, £4 for a few potatoe wedges not even a full potato costing 10p, £4 for a garlic bread covered in tomato with no garlic on it, more like a tiny pizza!!!! We're was the garlic?????? Absolutely no taste whatsoever And then £15 for a pizza with barely any cheese, packaging would have cost more than this meal, won't order from here ever again what a rip off, deary me The only good point was the delivery, the rest was very very disappointing Stick to your local takeaway and avoid this overpriced waste

I have been charged twice for the same order, and somehow managed to order 3 margaritas despite ordering only 2 pizza's, and neither of them was supposed to be margarita. Really disappointed, never going there again. Much rather go to Pontefract even though it adds miles. They never let me down.

Shocking, barely any cheese on the pizza it was clearly rushed and thrown together. Got 2 slices of mushrooms per slice and the wedges were cold. Waste of money.

The app to virtual queue is fantastic! Instead of queueing outside for almost 2 hours we went and played Adventure Golf and had a great time whilst we waited. We were text as soon as our table was available. The restaurant are great at social distancing and it was nice. The food arrived quickly and tasted amazing! The one thing that I didn’t like was the fact that there was no kids menu. If there had been it would have 5*. That aside, we will be going back :)

Absolutely shocking! Clearly don’t know how to handle.... busy! I’ve never seen so many disappointed customers in one store! After the first initial hour and half of waiting for delivery, I decided to go pay the store a visit. When arriving at the store to see at least 10 people behind the customer and not one of them standing out to be a manager, I asked the question myself. Not even an apology or explanation as to why my food had been waiting 1.5 hours for delivery. Then they made me wait another 20/25 minutes for my order to actually be ready. To then getting back to finding the order not to actually be correct!

Visited in January before visiting the cinema, ordered a chicken pitta and a wrap, we did want spicy rice but they had run out, when our meals arrived my daughters pitta had no chilli jam or mayo in, the wrap was so dry she couldn’t eat it, my chicken breast pitta was poor value, smallest chicken breast I’ve seen in a long time and the one lettuce leaf and 2 tiny bits of sun dried tomato looked lost, next to no medium coating on the chicken, absolutely rubbish! Disappointed and annoyed that we were not advised when ordering and paying, I complained, only to be told they had run out of loads of stuff! No offer of a refund, nothing! Very bad customer service and poor quality food. The pittas used to have shredded salad/cabbage to pack them out, now a limp lettuce leaf and a scrappy bit of sun dried tomato is a real let down. Won’t be back

New store at Xscape leisure complex in Castleford,obviously still very clean,tidy and bright in store. The staff are very friendly and greet you with a smile. Very good Domino's pizza and food as is standard with all outlets. Pricing is mid range and certainly cheaper than Pizza Hut. The location is great,and there is places with benches to sit and eat inside,with USB charging points for your gadgets. Highly recommended.

Spent £15 on two single chicken Pitta one hot and medium they came very quick but when arriving the pitta had two large lettuce leafs and rammed full of sun dried tomatoes. The chicken in the pitta was 3 finger width and dry but somehow chewy still, most was wasted. The girl on the till was very down her nose and ending every sentence with "hunnnyy" Whilst eating food the same girl came by our table and started sweeping around our feet. Will not be returning.
