Not the best won't be going again

Second time in a row the food has been awful from here use to be a really good chinese, quality has gone down hill over the last 12 months, use to be a regular customer will not be using again.

I’ve always loved to food and order a lot but the foods changed, the salt and pepper isn’t as nice as it use to be and the chow mein and pancake rolls are so peppery, everything’s overpowered with pepper, not sure if the chefs changed? Also the duck is very dry, This was my favourite Chinese but now I’m thinking it’s changed too much.

I've always loved oriental house but tonight's food went above and beyond. The perfect seasoning, the perfect cook time. Everything has been so good. Highly, highly reccomend. Tonight's food was the best I've had in years so thank you! Currently still stuffing myself with! Xx

Ordered from there 2 nights in a row and last night was poor! My pregnant partner had mushrooms in her chow mein but didn’t the night before, and also found bone in several pieces of chicken which was also different to mine so was not happy

Fish is that hard and over cooked you could build a wall with it

Do not use this place unless you want to wait AN HOUR AND A HALF for your food that will be lukewarm and over salty when it finally does arrive. Shocking!!!

Food disgusting, I've spent over £35 & it's not worth 35pence. The chips refried & no salt & pepper coating, chicken balls tasted sweet. Spare ribs burnt & dry, The syrup had come out of the box of fritters. Won't be going back here again. Monging & a full refund. Food in the bin waste of time night spoilt.

Chicken fried rice not as good as Singapore fried rice but I fancied a change . Mixed box starter was ok prawn toast was average

Ordered through the normal food app that eveyrone uses as we were looking for a new chinese takeaway as our last takeaway from Maxs was disgusting. This place restored all our faith in ordering from a Chinese takeaway again. Food was quickly delivered by a young friendly driver who was happy to help sort out which was our Takeaway as he had 2 oders that were virtually the same. Food was excellent and of a high quality and it was nice to see that any notes left when we ordered with regards leaving out any vegs we dont like was read and not ignored. Cant fault the place we just need to find out if they take phone orders rather than through the Morecambe or just eat apps as it might be cheaper than ha ing to pay service charges etc which ramps up the price

Absolutely awful food, got the salt and pepper share box, the chips were old, the chicken was chewy, the ribs were literally just bone. Never again

Food was tasteless. Won’t be ordering again. Delivery driver was great though. It was slightly late due to him getting lost like many do trying to find my property. He called and explained and apologised. Once I gave him further directions he was here in minutes and apologised again. Very polite young man.

Part of my order, I ordered beef satay and got chicken satay. The chicken was horrible in both that satay and the chicken chow mein. Safe to say I won’t be ordering from there again.

Food was great. Delivery driver was excellent. We are staying on a caravan park. Missed the call from the driver to say they don't come direct to the caravan. But he went above and beyond, delivered to the caravan door. Food was hot and very tasty. Would highly recommend. If you are on Ocean edge holiday park though. You have to meet the driver at the entrance. ( thank you for bringing it to the caravan)

Ordered meat in cantonese sauce. The container was full of carrots and the sauce was just like a very sweet sweet and sour. Not pleasant at all

Possibly the worst Chinese food i have ever eaten. The salt and pepper chips were tasteless, soggy and cold. The vermicilli looked like super noodles with scraps of meat put on top. The chicken balls had some of the lowest quality chicken ive ever eaten and even then it was such a small piece in each ball. The food was overall greasy and cold.

Visiting Heysham so thought we'd treat ourselves to a Chinese. We ordered over the phone for collection. Food ready within 10-15 minutes. Salt and pepper box (huge!) Sweet and sour pork balls, noodles and curry sauce. Superb!. Just over £20. Free prawn crackers and spring rolls too. More than enough for two people. Had enough left for a midnight snack. Would recommend. Lovely!

Very upset ordered chicken n mushrooms it came n was full of peppers so phoned back and complained the lady said she would sort it which she did came very quick with a fresh lot but guess what they just took the peppers out I could smell n taste it was awful the chicken was like rubber never again very very disappointed!!!!!

Always order from here but the last 3 times haven't been good. 5 pieces of pork in roast pork in garlic, was mainly veg. Soup just tasted of sugar, foo Yung was swimming in water, salt & pepper chips soggy, covered in soggy onions and no chilli's. Ordered £45 worth of food and it's gone to waste. Won't be ordering again.

Fabulous fresh tasty hot delicious food delivered last night. We have been searching for a new local Chinese delivery place and this was recommended by friends. We were not disappointed and I can assure you I am very fussy about my Chinese (hence we’ve been looking for a a new one) I had the chicken in a black bean sauce, my husband had Szechuan chicken both of which were really good. Proper pieces of chicken too, and a large portion of both with fried rice. Oriental House is a firm keeper! Highly recommend Update - I do not recommend!! Change of chef, shocking sweet sauce for the chicken in a black bean sauce (if you can find the chicken) and my husbands meal of choice also gone down the pan. We have tried twice of our usual order over a 4 week period to give the benefit of a one off bad meal - nope. Change of chef and not for the best sadly. Will not be ordering again

We're visiting morecambe for the weekend and decided to try this place based on relatively good reviews. I honestly think they must be paying people to leave reviews. The meat was absolutely inedible. Like, think chicken biscuits, with pork bone slices. Having seen the chicken and pork, I avoided the prawns even though they looked like they actually had some moisture in. The food that my 1 year old rinses out of his mouth back into my drink, that sits in a lovely little sentiment at the bottom, with a similar texture of the leftovers when you pull the plug after doing the dinner dishes, was more appealing than eating this food. The fact we got a free can of pop was massively appreciated to wash down the slight chemical taste. You'd think that the prawn crackers would be edible at least, I mean, you just throw them in a fryer for about 4 mins and that's it? No. Even those were like rubber discs. Absolutely awful food. Do. Not. Recommend. The picture was taken after I'd binned it. So it looks a lot more moist than when i served it

There was no curry sauce instead it was a sweet and sour which went to waste as nobody likes it or asked for it.

Wasn't the best, salt and chilli chips had no chilli just soggy onions which made chips soggy. Chicken and sweetcorn soup just tasted of sugar. Beef with mushrooms came in a gravy sauce which didn't taste nice. Waste of £50 all we are was plain rice and crackers.

Food was burnt the salt n pepper box was burnt and ribs were under cooked so the only things ok was chicken balls and chips. We ordered pawns toast and never got dipping sauces.was very disappointed and won’t be going back there.
